Bagless upRIGHT VACUUM: This multi floor, multi surface designed vacuum can be used in your home, den, or kitchen to remove pet hair, dirt and more. The Enhanced HEPA filter system traps 99.7% of dirt and reduces pollutants in the room. The 2- motor system is great for cleaning. You can change the vacuum cleaner's suction for different fabrics and carpet weights. There is light and manageable. This lightweight design is easy to maneuver. There are 2 appendices extending the reach. The hose can be extended to 10'. The combination tool includes a dirt brush, upholstery brush and crevice tool.
👤The vacuum cleaner has a strong force that pulls in particles from several inches in front of the nozzle. It lifted a lot of dust and debris from our carpets after they had been vacuumed. The cleaner should be especially useful for people with asthma and/or allergies. The system is claimed to remove at least 99% of particles with a diameter of less than 3 microns. Human hair is fat, with diameters ranging from 50-150 microns. The captured COVID 19 viruses would be embedded in the filters, where they could survive for only a limited number of days. The top handle makes it easy to maneuver the cleaner around furniture. The carrying handle is on the top of the dust cup. Lifting the cleaner by this handle puts its full weight on the plastic latch that holds the dust cup in place, so it may be a good idea to avoid using this. The on-off switch has three different positions: off, vacuum on, and vacuum on with brushroll activated. When the brushroll is activated, a headlight illuminates the area about to be vacuumed. A brushroll status indicator is used to warn when the brushroll needs attention. There is a way to reduce the amount of dust in the air. The powerful vacuum pulls air, dust, and debris through a long flexible hose that can be attached either to the floor level nozzle or to one of several special attachments. Potential buyers should know that this cleaner requires more mechanical skills than traditional cleaners. If you're used to turning a cleaner on and off, vacuuming, and occasionally replacing a dust bag, be prepared for major changes with this and similar vacuum cleaners. The manufacturer thinks that the brushroll should be cleaned after a few uses. There is a large cylinder in this cleaner. After every use, this is to be emptied. If the vacuum power seems weak, the foam, felt, and pre-filter should be cleaned every three months. Cold water should be used to clean the HEPA filter. The filters will probably need to be replaced eventually. The cleaner uses two motors to compensate for the resistance created by the multiple filters, making it heavier than traditional cleaners. The instructions in the accompanying manual are in English and Spanish.
👤The vacuum is sexy. I have had bissels in the past and I have done a lot of research. I was going to get a vacuum similar to the one I was going to buy, but when I looked in the store they made them so cheap that I couldn't afford it. I put mine through a lot. I have pets. I did more research and it seemed like it was made better in my research, like metal screws and quality materials. The vaccum is way ahead of the others for the price. It's quiet and has amazing suction, so it doesn't feel like you push it, you just glide with it. My carpets look like they have been washed. The vacuum makes it fun to vacuum. I'm thinking about getting another one. I have one on each floor. This might be the best purchase I have made. The hose is very high quality and doesn't knock your vaccum over when you use it. It doesn't have a quick release, but it is easy to lift if off and go, and it has a lot of hose, so you don't realize how much until you go. It has a long cord. There are a lot of good things about this vacuum. This is a must have. Love it.
The 3X cleaning system includes a stick vacuum with an angle floorhead for use on multiple surfaces, v-shaped bristles to pick up all types of debris, and an anti-tangle pet hair brush bar. A brush bar with rubber bristles is Patented and is used to clean pets. 3-speed control. For cleaning carpets. The front-FACING DUSTBIN allows a stick vacuum to lie flat for easier cleaning. The hand vacuum can be used with an extra-long crevice tool for stairs, furniture, and hard-to-reach spaces. Powerful cleaning with built-in filters provides up to twice the amount of cleaning power as with a vacuum. The battery can be moved. The 20V MAX battery can be charged in or out of the vacuum for up to 55 minutes. The BSV2020P stick vacuum, battery, 3in1 multiway charging and wall mount, crevice attachment with flip out brush, low-profile pet accessory, accessory holder, and pre-filter are included.
👤The pros and cons of this vacuum is something that I have serious reservations about. I like the quiet, good solid build with a sturdy metal shaft, ease of swap, motorized rug attachment, and waste container filters that are easy to remove and wash with water. The waste container hatch is spring loaded so it is easy to accidentally knock off the container while in use and the only way to stop it is to vacuum it. I will use this as our main household vacuum, but I still have to figure out a way to get rid of the absurd waste container latch. I shouldn't have to do that for the high price point. There is an update. I used a slice of an old bicycle inner tube as security for the container. I knocked the dang thing off at least once every time I used the vacuum. cinches up tight when used.
👤I would consider a vacuum problem for my wife. We have had a lot of them. She has had other stick vacuum models from other manufacturers, but this one is the one she likes the most. We already had spare batteries here that she could use, because the batter is the same one used on other tools. The head of the brush has a light on it. She can see the fur that has been shed by my dog. There is no shortage of hairs pulled out from brushing by my two daughters, who are also my wife. I don't know why they are bald. The vacuum is fine with hair. It does what it is designed to do, and the price is right. My wife seems to be very happy with this particular model. She recommended it to others. I know that won't mean much to anyone who doesn't know her, but it is high praise. She has experience with all kinds of vacuums. My life is a bit odd.
👤I don't have pets. I think this could work better on the dust because I am just a gal who has a clean house. We use it in the kitchen, hallways, knock room, and stairs. The bedrooms have hardwood. All of them have hardwood. We use it on a few big, thick, fancy rugs just to clean them daily since they are walked on a lot. If you use medium and the lowest setting, you can get about 40-45 minutes of the vacuum, but if you use high and the lowest setting, you only get about 20-25 minutes. It was a big disappointment. We don't have black and decker tools to take the batteries out, so I will be investing in a second battery. It's pretty darn good. I feel like it doesn't work when it's a small brush to get in small places. You would think it would be stronger without the extra long pipe. It's almost too quick. I have to remind myself to slow down or I will crash into things. You can take apart the entire filter, dump it, and wash it. Every little dirt is gone. I use my big vacuum to clean my other vacuums almost monthly. (Or more) I've had the canister fall off of the vacuum at least five times. It shouldn't be happening at all. When it fell to make my mess worse, it hasn't popped open yet. I am worried about my floor and dents. It is not light! It stands in its own. This is true. The light can knock it over all the way. The lights are amazing. Get vacuums with lights. It is easy to use. It's self explanatory. Sometimes getting that darn filter back in it's place makes me break a sweat. I have not lost yet. I can easily get under furniture and beds that are tile or hardwood. The vacuum goes against the floor. We don't use it in carpeted rooms. It has some things that could be better, but so far this is my favorite of the 5 I have used. It is hoped that it lasts a while.
The ZU560 series manual is accurate for both ZU560 and ZU561, but it is not in the box. Pets are perfect for multi-purpose pet tools that tackle stubborn pet hair and dirt on furniture, stairs and hard to reach areas. Carbon dioxide is used in the treatment of particulate matter. Don't use odor-absorbing filters on your pet. The cup has a capacity of 1.42 liters. The headlights : No. The powerFUL SUCTION: The extra-wide nozzle of WindTunnel 3 Technology creates efficient air flow from it to the large capacity dirt cup. It's perfect for carpets and hard floors. With the touch of a button, On/Off brushroll helps easily transition from carpets to hard floors. 15 feet of extended reach is included. Includes a pet tool, a dusting tool, and a crevice tool.
👤I have been using both of them. 3 weeks ago, my Bissell broke. You can see in the photo that I have Aussies with me. 3 weeks of no vacuuming left a mess. The Hoover tackled it. It pulled sand and dust from the carpet. Dogs are working on my farm. I had to stop and empty the bin, but it was doing a great job getting the hair out of the carpet. The bin needs to be emptied before the vacuum can self-propulsion. The vacuum does the work if the bin is kept clean.
👤This things work. The amount of dog hair this vacuum picks up is very impressive. My floor is covered with hair because I have huskies. I have never seen carpets cleaned in a long time. It was easy to put together and it was easy to dump the dirty stuff. The vacuum is a little heavier but it is worth the price. The hose is clear so you can see if there is a problem with dog hair. The attachment are also great. I will recommend this vacuum to others because I am in love with it.
👤I was very excited to try the vacuum. I put it together and used it for 10 minutes, but realized the vacuum I wanted had a hose on the side. The vacuum from the box did not have a hose or floor dial. The box pictures have something on them. The product in the box does not match the description of the vacuum being sold. Very disappointed! Before you put it together, make sure to check your product. The first vacuum I sent back didn't have the floor dial, so I ordered a new one. I thought it was a mess. But no! The hose/floor dial is missing from the second vacuum that just came in. The Hoover Max 3 Performance picture on the item I ordered matches the picture on the box, but the vacuum inside the box is completely different.
👤I rarely leave reviews but this was worth taking the time to type one out. The vacuum is great. I have two cats that are crazy. The way my condo is set up makes it difficult for a robot vacuum to work. It got tiring having to control it. I've had pet hair vacuums before, but they didn't do a good job, and I spent a lot of money on another one. I've only used this one twice, but it works great. It has been as advertised. It sucked after getting the correct carpet setting. I expected clumps of hair to be left behind, but they were not. I feel a bit trashy because I thought my carpets were cleaner than they really were. This vacuum is very good. If there are long term problems, I will update in the future.
👤I had a very similar model for about 6 years, which worked fine one time, but was dead the next time it was turned on. The replacement Hoover Wind Tunnel 3 Max Performance is a great upgrade. The manual carpet height adjustment dial is a lot easier to use, it seems more powerful, and it has better cleaning than the older model. The vacuum is used 3x a week because we have 2 dogs that shed. It is bagless. I find it necessary to empty the cannister after every use, even though the directions say to do so. If it isn't emptied, it becomes blocked. The mechanism to open the canister is easy, but the emptying of the canister is not. Open the trash can. The dirt is easy to fall out of, but the pet hair is hard to remove from the canister. I have to bang on the sides to loosen it and the remaining dust, and even then there is a bit of hair and "dust" left in the cannister. I disassemble the cannister and wash it with soap and water. It's not hard to wash, and reassemble. The parts have to be completely dry before they can be reassembled. The Hoover Wind Tunnel Max 3 has a shorter cord. Even though the cannister is not great, I like the upgraded model for its overall performance. The order was fulfilled quickly. The item was in the original box.
Purchases save pets. The mission of the BISSELL Pet Foundation is to help save homeless pets. Lift-off technology. The canister is portable and can be used to clean pet hair. The brush roll is tangle-free. Actively stops hair wrap. The system is sealed with HEPA. It traps everything. The design and steering are lightweight. Powerful cleaning performance without heavy lifting.
👤I cleaned most of the carpet in my house this weekend after buying a vacuum. I bought this model based on the reviews on Amazon. I have been very impressed with the Shark vacuums that I have used at my friends' houses, but the reviews were generally less positive than the Bissell ones. A large number of people complain about poor customer service in the reviews for the Shark vacuums. I won't support a company that doesn't stand behind its products. I talked to a friend who had a good story to tell about Shark customer support. There are a lot of complaints about poor customer service in the reviews. I started looking at the Bissells because they seemed to have some of the least negative reviews. There were many negative reviews due to threads and hair. The model that I read was not as bad as I thought. I haven't had that problem with this vacuum yet. The model is heavy and clumsy to use. Being over 50, my perspective on what is heavy and clumsy seems to be different. This model is light weight, maneuverable, and easy to get into, compared to the clunky vacuums of the past. It might be considered a bit unwieldy compared to a vacuum like a stick or a shark. It was hard to push on shag or high pile carpet. I didn't experience that problem because my carpet is a low pile and I didn't have to push the vacuum across to hold the rug down. The vacuum seemed to have a good amount of air in it. Some people think the suction is not as good as a Shark or a Dyson. I could not say from my experience with those other vacuums. I can't give an accurate comparison of this vacuum with any other one I've used. People complain about using the tools with the hose. I don't want the hose flopping around on the vacuum when I am upright, so it just seems like something you live with. The Lift-Off feature makes this a non-issue for me because it allows you to separate the canister from the carpet roller base. The intelligent design is what I like about this Bissell. Everything seems to be thought out for efficiency and ease of use. I don't know how well the plastic parts will hold up with use, but most of the vacuums out there seem to be made of light weight plastic parts, so I hope for the best. Time will tell. The cord is a bit stiff. They make more supple cords, but they are more expensive. I think the cord on this unit should have been thicker. The small size of the canister is my only complaint. I dumped it four or five times, but my carpet was pretty dirty. It was easy to dump and not have to worry about breathing in the dust. The vacuum did a good job on my old carpet and a few tiled areas. The upholstery/stair brush attachment seemed to work well. I'm happy with my purchase so far. I'm concerned if it will hold up over time. If it fails within the first couple of years, I will take away stars. I will if it is still going strong in five years. Give it a five star rating.
Purchases from Bissell help save pets. The mission of the Bissell Pet Foundation is to save homeless pets. The pet hair pick up is lightweight and fast. The brush roll is tangle-free. The power rating is 7 Amps. You don't have to touch the yuck with the Cyclonic Pet Hair Spooling System. The Smart Seal Allergen System has an optional Febreze filter that will help you clean your home without making it smell bad. There are specialized pet tools that can reach more messes. Powerful edge-to-edge suction on carpets, rugs, and hard surfaces with a brush roll on/off feature.
👤I was excited to use the vacuum. I've owned a few vacuums from Bissell and currently have two of their lighter models. We have three floors so I thought this would be good for the main floor and I could keep one of my others upstairs and the other in the basement. ASSEMBLY was easy to put together and did not require any tools. I think the instructions could have included larger photos, but it could be that my older eyes made it hard to see the small photos. It did not take long and was pretty intuitive. The parts were sturdy enough for the price. There is a The carpeted floors are vacuming. It was very easy to start vacuuming. You can pull back on the vacuum by holding your foot on the front, instead of pushing a lever. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing since I have never had a vacuum without a lever and it's hard to keep it upright when I want it that way. The vacuum has a base that makes it easy to twist the handle one way. It is nice to maneuver into small spaces. It did a good job going under furniture. It's a little heavier than I'm used to but it's still easy to maneuver around. You can get through the job a little faster if you use the wide cleaning path. I go over each spot a few times to make sure I get as much dirt out of the carpet as possible. I like that I can turn the brush roll on and off. When the handle is upright, it turns off. It's important because it means you don't need to use the extra power to turn the brush roll when vacuuming a hard surface or using the tools. The brushroll is advertised to not collect hair. I have long hair and this was intriguing. There was a lot of hair in the dust bin after vacuuming. If you look down and can see hair on the roll, it will come off if you go back and forth on a clean carpet area. I could not test it because I have not had this happen before. The brush roll is larger than my other vacuums. There is aCTION. The handle of the vacuum has a switch that can change from low to high. It says plush carpet instead of low carpet. The lower the carpet setting, the higher it is. This might be confusing for people who are wondering what setting to use on a bare floor. The low setting lets air in. I keep mine on a higher setting. I don't have shag carpet, so that seems appropriate. I was not sure if the power of the tools was better than the vacuum on the floor. I thought my carpet was cleaner than I thought. I was given a chance to try it out because I accidentally dumped something on the carpet. It did a good job with that. I dumped it out again on the hardwood floors to see if it worked out. I think because this has a wider path when I put my hand under it, it doesn't feel as though it's all that great, but it does have a larger opening than my other vacuum. I put a paper over the bottom to make sure it was in place. I was curious about the pull out extension wand as it seemed like it would be easier to use than my other wand, but as it turns out, it's a little cumbersome to use. The tool can be used to crush. The light on the end of the crevice tool was cool but it made the small part of the tool bigger which negates the point of a tool designed to fit into a crevice. It would be great to reach above to see the cobwebs. You have to pull hard on it to reach a tall ceiling because the machine keeps the accordion pleats from fulling. I had to use two hands to pull it out of the 8 ft ceilings. The crevice tool adds some length to the whole thing. I found it awkward to pull out the wand from the handle because there is a hook that you can use to keep your cord up. The main part of the vacuum and the other part of the hose have to be removed when you pull the handle out to get something in a corner because it's attached to the hook. I had to not only press the release button but also disengage the other two things when I pulled on the thing to get it out. It's not easy to just pull it out and put it back in its place. There is a tool and a sledgehammer. The vacuum has a brush that is good for stairs. The pull out wand isn't very good to use and there is a way to detach the hose so you can use it directly. I was disappointed that there was no place to store it on the vacuum. I have a place for the wand, a regular brush and the turbo brush in my smallerbissell, but there is no place for the brush on the vacuum. This means that I won't be able to use the turbo brush as much. It is easy to empty the bin. A lot of dirt gets stuck in the upper part of the bin. You have to tap it to get more dirt out. I accidentally hit the button to release the bottom trap door and dumped dirt all over my floor because I was tapping it to see how much it picked up. Next time, I will make sure to hold it over the trash can. There are filters and maintenance. There are two different filters in this vacuum. You can wash it and it needs to be changed every 3-6 months. I am not sure if I have checked the price yet, but I am pretty sure it will be a penny. You can use the optional Febreeze filter to spread the scent of febreeze instead of using the washable filter. I don't like scent so I didn't open that. It's an interesting option for people who like that sort of thing. The dirty bin needs to be cleaned. The dirt bin where the fan blows the dirt around is something you have to clean or the vacuum won't work, that's the thing I'm not crazy about. You can wash it. You can't take that apart to clean the inner chamber. I can disassemble the vacuum parts for cleaning. I have to wash it or I can see screws in it, so I hope I can get everything out with the water stream. I have a feeling that this will be an issue because the instructions do not suggest removing the screws. It seems that he will run. A little hot. When I first used it, I only vacuumed for a few minutes and when I emptied the dirt bin, it felt like it was hot in there. The manual says that there is a shut off feature if it gets overheated. I am not sure how long I would have to vacuum for that to happen, but I am hoping it won't become a problem because it was mentioned prominently in the manual. If this happens, the light will stay on, but the motor will turn off, and you need to check the filters and hoses for a problem. It will not turn back on for about 30 minutes. There is a cord. The cord on this vacuum is longer than my current one. I don't have to find a closer outlet to plug it in because I don't have to keep unplugging it. This is a great upright vacuum that has a lot of different features for a low price. It has some things I would change or improve, but it's a lot of vacuum for the money. Thanks for reading my review.
Purchase a pet product from Bissell and they will donate 10 dollars to the pet foundation for every purchase. Even if it is embedded, triple action brush roll plus scatter free technology maximize pet hair pickup. The power cord can be used for quick and easy storage. The cleaning path width is 13 inches. Cleaning around furniture and obstacles can be done with a steering wheel. The edge to edge cleaning feature gets closer to the walls and corners. There are pet tools like the hair corner tool and the turbo eraser tool. Style 12141 is a replacement filter.
👤I own several vacuums. The best vacuum is a corded one from Miele. I have a Dyson V6 pet vac, which only lasts 15 minutes on a battery charge and never completes a job before running out of juice, and a battery operated stick vac, which is great for quick jobs. I have many vacuums to compare to. Why so many? We don't have to haul them up and down stairs because I have a vacuum on each floor. I like this vacuum so much that I deducted one star for some minor considerations. I chose a 10x15 area of carpet in the center of my living room because it had been vacuumed a couple weeks before. I have attached pictures of the amount of debris from that one small task, beginning with a brand new vacuum with a clean canister. I was surprised that it wasn't an area that had been neglected for a while, and we don't have a lot of traffic in this room, between my wife and I. The sponge can be cleaned under water. You get an idea of what the vacuum does when it's not being used. It's light weight and ability to maneuver is what I like the most. The vacuum head has a ball like action, which allows you to turn it with your wrist. I deducted one star because it presents some glide resistance when turning the vacuum head on plush carpet. Not much resistance, but one does notice the need to exert a little bit more in the way of forward force or arm exertion when doing so. It wasn't enough to dislike the vacuum. An observation. The head of the brush roller head is so high that it does not get under my sofa more than an inch, so it is a bit shorter and flatter to navigate under furniture. Its clearance is three feet. The vacuum won't go all the way under if the furniture front openings are shorter than 3. It will not go all the way back into the toe kick plate recess on my kitchen cabinets. The head height prevents that. I was impressed by the fact that the vacuum sucks up every single piece of debris when I run parallel to the wall and up to the baseboards. The cat whisker brushes that stick out on each side of the brush roller head help push dirt away from the baseboards so that the vacuum can suck them up. The feature was well executed. The retractable cord is a huge positive. I don't like having to wind cords onto the exterior clips of upright vacuums. This one has a foot button that you depress, which quickly and firmly reels in the cord to a slot on the bottom of the vacuum. There is no hesitation in reeling in the cord in this spring loaded action. The retention clip at the top of the vacuum handle can be used to suspend the cord while vacuuming, so it doesn't drag across the floor. I found the canister removal to be very easy to remove and put back into place, with a handle at the top of the canister that facilitates its removal and reinsertion. The Dyson V6 requires a stick or screwdriver to remove debris from its narrow clearances at the top of its canister, but the canister can hold a large amount of debris. There are 5 height settings for thick carpet. I tried out the vacuum on the middle setting for the first time. There are 3 foot activated switches. One can release the upright handle from a locked upright position to allow it to go into action mode. The cord reel is activated. The third button is the on/off button. There are 3 tools stored onboard, which can be interfaced directly with the flexible vacuum hose, or in conjunction with a straight extension tube to increase your reach. The 1st is a triangular corner crevice tool with vacuum ports running along each of its 2 triangular edges, along with soft short "capture" brushes for crumbs etc. There is no need for the 3 tools to be used if the end of the flex hose is removed from the mounting post. I think the small head brush tool is for upholstery and hard surfaces. I have always questioned the value of such brush tools in vacuum offerings, thinking that the brushes just move debris around instead of allowing the vacuum to interact with it. If you use something like that, it is there. The 3rd tool is a brush tool which can be used on stairs or upright surfaces, like drapes, and on sofas. I really like the idea of this tool, but Bissell decided not to use brushes in the rotary, instead going with flexible rubber like plastic "flaps" which are segments. The problem with these flaps is that when they come into contact with the carpet, it causes them to stall the vacuum head. The flaps stop turning when they stop resisting the carpet, so they block the flow of water from the hose. If you press down a lot on the carpet surface, the suction stops and the flaps turn. You have to glide over the surface with a very light hand to keep this tool working. It requires plastic flaps to be turned by a force, which works against it, and it also requires no electrical power being supplied to this small head. I can live with this shortcoming since I can still use the other hand tools to get the job done. One star deduct is a minor reason. The out of the box assembly is very easy to assemble, with only 2 parts needed, in order to keep the shipping box a bit shorter. The only thing needed is a phillips head screwdriver to attach the upper black plastic handle. Two screws are inserted into the guide holes. The flex hose and onboard tools have to be mounted onto the posts and ports on the vacuum so that everything is easy to use and stored. This vacuum is very strong in its price range. It has no weak points other than the hand tool which makes it hard to use on carpet.
Buy Bissell, save pets, and Bissell will donate up to 10 dollars to the Bissell pet foundation for every pet product purchase. The pet hair pick up has scatter free technology. Steering can be used to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. Clean edges and corners. The cleaning path width is 13 inches. Pet hair removal with specialized tools is possible. The dirt bin is easy to empty and clean. 6 feet is the hose length. The replacement filter style is 12141. The dirt cup has a capacity of 1.0 liter.
👤vacuums after a while start smelling in an unpleasant way This is a fact that I have noticed with my previous vacuums. I wondered if I could wash some parts of it. It wasn't an option. Every part of the vacuum can be washed with soap and water. The filters, dust bin, and accessories are easy to remove. One must wait until the parts are dry before using them again. The electric cord is long, and the dust bin is large. One can clean many rooms before having to empty the dust bin or plug the vacuum again. Making one's job easier. When the house has hardwood flooring covered with rugs, it is useful to go from hardwood floors to rugs. There is space to store the accessories in the vacuum itself, with the exception of the pet tool. This is like a tiny vacuum in itself, it has a brush made with rubber to catch hair more easily, and it can be taken apart to clean it. The pet hair corner tool is my favorite of the included tools, it is made for cleaning corners and stairs too. The fact that it doesn't use replaceable bags is a money saver, and it's a powerful vacuum with lots of suction, and I don't care about it being loud.
👤I bought the vacuum because I have pets. I have had it for a month. I saw the brush wasn't spinning when I ran it. Even though I thought it was odd for a belt to go out so early, I began the process of taking the bottom apart to replace the belt. I found the belt on the motor shaft when I took the bottom off. The smoke came from the motor shaft. The entire belt compartment was packed with dog hair. The design of the vacuum feeds the pet hair into the belt compartment. The vacuum was rendered useless unless the belt and motor shaft were destroyed by a small fire, because enough hair got between the belt and motor shaft in under a month. Go buy something else.
👤I was looking for a better vacuum than the one I have and found one at a great price. I bought it and thought it was an improvement. I found that it would stop spinning when I used it on some of my carpets. I used it last week and it picked up a lot. I used it for about five minutes on the carpet that wasn't making it get stuck and suddenly it stopped and there was smoke and flames in my living room. I lifted the thing in the air, hoping it wouldn't set my apartment on fire, and then I unplugged it and threw it outside. I showed my roommate the melted plastic and he opened the windows to turn on the fan. Don't buy this vacuum. It almost destroyed my apartment building. I'm serious. I'm reaching out to the company.
👤I've had a bunch of them. It's tough on vacuums during the shed season. I've tried a lot of machines and haven't found anything that works well on coarse fur. This one does. The pivot design helps me a lot. The brush doesn't hold onto all of the fur and becomes useless like many others. It is easy to dump the canister. I don't know if I could find a better vacuum. I would have given 5 stars for the shipping.
The design and steering are lightweight. Powerful cleaning performance without heavy lifting. The pet hair pickup is convenient. The 27' cord can be wrapped up with a push of a button. The brush roll is tangle-free. You don't have to touch the yuck with a hands-free empty with cyclonic pet hair spooling system. There are specialized pet tools on the board like the 2-in-1 Pet Dusting Brush.
👤This is the second pet eraser that I've purchased and it's definitely a better model than the older one. I was impressed with the dog hair pickup when I reviewed my first pet eraser. The dog hair on the " Dog World and Puppyland" and the pet eraser models do a great job of picking up on the rug. I knocked them down a bit on engineering on the first one. You had to stand on your head and turn a knob to engage the tool and then change it back to the floor. The updated model made it switch automatically when the hose assembly is removed from the base. It's done! It was suggested that the tool attachment have an "on board" location rather than having to pick which one you wanted to use. It's done! I was annoyed that I had to take out 10 screws. His model was reduced to 5. It was a definite improvement. The model has a retractable cord. It's done! A great bonus. They took all my suggestions for a better product. They don't need a job offer or cash bonus to go with them. Humph! I'm happy to have a new and improved model of this vac. It's a keeper in my book.
👤This one was shipped too fast by Amazon. I was going to goof off all day. I dragged the box to the house because my husband was gone. I vacuumed the main floor before he got home because it was ready to go. I think the instructions should have been included in the package. I had to find them online. This really hurts the hair of the pet. It does a better job than my old one, but it is a little heavy. The accessories kept falling out of the hangers as I vacuumed. It is being pushed to the curb. The Oreck is my go-to vacuum. It does a reasonable job, but lacks attachment. I will use this weekly for deeper cleaning. It has great tools for vacuuming and tight spaces. I like the holders for the accessory pieces. They are easy to remove from place. The retractable cord is convenient. This is an excellent vacuum cleaner at this price point. My husband loves it! I can watch him demonstrate.
👤The Shark Navigator 355 is old and we bought a new vacuum to replace it. The Shark was a great vacuum, but we became annoyed with how often we had to replace parts because of failure. The shark was replaced at least once. My 8th grade teacher told a story about a guy who holds up a hatchet and tells his friend that George Washington cut down a cherry tree with it. His friend says no way. Doesn't look old. The guy said that it had three new heads and seven new handles. Our shark is not the one we bought. Back to the Bissell. Looks nice. The re-coiling power cord is a nice feature. It is not close to the Shark. It doesn't do well along baseboards. The opening of the tool is very small. The beater bar is very loud. We're pretty disappointed. My wife hates this machine. This would not be a good purchase again.
Purchases save pets. The mission of the BISSELL Pet Foundation is to help save homeless pets. Convenient cleaning. A 21V battery can hold up to 30 minutes of run time. Actively prevent hair loss. Their patented brush roll was designed. The 3-in-1 vacuum is lightweight. It is possible to convert a hand or high reach vacuum into a hand or high reach vacuum. The tank is large and easy to empty. You don't want to touch the yuck while emptying the tank. The lights are led. Pet hair, dirt and debris can be hard to see. There are multi-levels of Filtration. After-cleaning care is easy because the filter helps trap dust particles.
👤I've never been happy with the power of a corded vacuum, but this is the first time I've actually been happy with it. I gave my husband a haircut and the last dustbuster couldn't pick up hair off the tile floor. My standards for a vacuum are very high because we have long haired pets and hairy humans as well as a workshop in this house and I vacuum almost every day. Imagine if this bissel picked up everything off our floors and other surfaces. I didn't expect it to do as well as it did. This is so quiet, I was surprised but happy to find it. My cats didn't leave the office when I was vacuuming, which is very rare. Every type of floor is in our home. shag carpet, low pile carpet, vinyl/linoleum, concrete, painted floors, and area rugs are all available. This did well on all of the above. Hard floors and low pile carpet are where it shines the most. You can see in the attached photos how it picked up every single speck of cat litter, sawdust, hair, fur, soil, crumbs, and left my floor and span. My corded Dysons never did this well with cat litter. The cat litter was not spit on and taken a million passes to clean up. It sucked it up. There is no hassle. The only surface I would give less than 5 stars on is a shag rug, which is notoriously difficult to clean, and the best way to beat them is to take them and shake them out. The standard 80s shag wall to wall carpet in our living room did better than I thought it would. It is easy to maneuver. It weighs 4 lbs. when used as a handheld dustbuster. The power floor roller brush and pole weighs in at 8.4 lbs. It feels lighter when you use it due to the roller gliding around easily and you don't need to roll it around a lot. It was so easy to use in our cramped office, where there is a million obstacles and cords to dodge, and not a lot of floor space to move around. It is an excellent option for older people who may have trouble maneuvering vacuums. The roller brush has lights on it. They help you see what you missed. The roller heads were on for 20 minutes and it was still strong. It has plenty of battery life for day to day needs without needing to charge between the different rooms. This does not stand on its own. That is the standard for stick vacuums like this. It is so heavy that it would be easy to tip over and break it. I think they should put a sticker on it saying that it doesn't stand, so people like me who have never had a vacuum like this won't keep trying to make it stand, it felt like I might break it when I was trying to "lock" it into standing position I did not harm it during my attempts. I am very happy that I got this vacuum. It's much more convenient for small jobs than it is for corded vacuums. I only had a small portion of the pantry wall where I could install the wall mount and it works perfectly. I used the supplied screws and anchors and it is holding up. Excellent battery life and maneuverability. I would definitely recommend this vacuum, it is the first battery powered vacuum I have had. So far, so good, I will update if there are any issues. This will help you make a better decision.
The 10 lbs powerspeed upright vacuum cleaner is portable and easy to use. The multi-surface vacuum can be adjusted to fit between hard floor and deep carpet. The bagless vacuum requires less frequent emptying because it has an empty 2 6L dust cup. The pet tool is great for pet owners because it can be stored on board for easy access and above floor cleaning. The PowerSpeed is easy to maintain because of the bagless design.
👤I used it for a month. This is not a pet vase. This is not an over exagguration because I lost out on money for this junk, but a warning of ineffectual machinary. Anything will get stuck in the bottom hose that is supposed to suck things up. I have two short haired medium sized dogs, this thing should be able to pick up their hair on a daily basis, but it can't suck anything through the entire hose, I am not cleaning/dec Not. Once. It's practically clean. Good luck getting to the belt that lasts all of the 2 rounds of vacuuming, I keep my home clean, but I am not vacuuming mountains of dirt here. I tried everything to make sure that it was something I was using correctly and not missing. It's just an expensive piece of garbage. It wont pick up dust bunnies if you waste time or money. I was very disappointed in this product.
👤I bought this to replace a heavy Hoover upright that was free. It was well maintained. 3 days ago, I vacuumed my apartment. I don't have pets. There were no big dust bunnies or dirty carpets when I was here. I thought so. I decided to try out the new product on my floors. There are two carpeted bedrooms and a rug in the living room. If it were any more powerful, it would be sucking up the dirt from my downstairs neighbor's carpets. There is a I'm happy I didn't spend another $200 to get a top-brand, this one is fantastic, and I'll be happy if it only lasts a few years.
👤Absolutely love it! I asked if all the dust came from. Of how good it is. I always read reviews before buying, and I also write to help others. I write bad reviews on things I don't recommend. I recommend this one. You will love it!
👤We have an old Rainbow vacuum that works well, but it is heavy and uses a water filter system that is messy. We don't vacuum as often as we should. We need to vacuum at least 2X a week to keep up with the cat and dog. I've been looking for a vacuum that would be easy to use but powerful enough to pick up pet hair for over a year. I couldn't afford a vacuum that got mixed reviews. I had a great canister vacuum that lasted for years, so I thought I'd give it a try. The price was great and it was bagless. I thought I didn't have much to lose. The vacuum is wonderful. It is light and maneuverable. It sucks up the hair and dander of the pet. Our carpets have a new color. It will be interesting to see how the motor holds up, but for now, I am very happy with this purchase. This sweeper is very good.
👤This vaccuum is terrible. I bought because of the claims of being a pet vaccuum. If you have a dog, don't buy this. The first time I used it, it started to work. The design of the hose is not capable of plugging up hair. The cup they brag about being so large is not anything but. There is no room for hair or dirt in the cup. I'm going to donate to someone without pets.
Bagless upRIGHT VACUUM: This lightweight multi floor, multi surface designed vacuum can be used in your home, den, or kitchen to remove pet hair. There is a pet handling model. Air driven turbine spins roller brush to high speed to remove stubborn pet hair and other stains from furniture, stairs, car and van seats. The Enhanced HEPA filter system traps 99% of dirty. Cleaning power is created by the use of cyclonic technology, which pulls hair and dirt from carpets and upholstery. The Easy Emporium can be used. The lift away bin is easy to empty and clean.
👤As far back as I can remember, I've always used the same company for my appliances. I spent over two hundred dollars plus shipping to find out that there was a thing called a "dust plumb" after I used my Kenmore bag-less product, and it was in my face with the first use. In all of the previous reviews and advertisings, there was no mention of this problem. There is great advertising here and now. It's in your face that other vacuums have the same problem. I discovered this by looking at a vacuum. This information was not there before. I always do my homework, but this info wasn't there. I've never felt betrayed like that in my life. I can't return the machine because I used it. If I don't want dirt thrown in my face when I empty the machine, I need to purchase another one. Cleaning house is already a thankless job and I don't need insult on top of injury and the thought of taking this machine out to vacuum with just paralyses me.
👤The vacuum is good on dog hair. It's easy to move around. The wand is easy to use. The power cord is short, it should have at least another 10' to it. I have to plug in every room I move. The collection container is small and difficult to get all the dirt out of. Consumer Reports gave it a top rating. It's great for the price and does the job.
👤After researching on Consumer Reports, I found this model to be very high in ratings compared to the other models I was looking at. I only used it for a day, but it was a great vacuum. It is a little heavier than my old vacuum and has more power. The control is in a strange place and it took me a while to find it. The vacuum is not as good as the one I have. I am done with the Kenmore because it is amazing on my hardwood floors. My other vacuum took a few steps. I use it on bare-floor mode to vacuum my rugs, if you need to nail them down. You can detach it and carry it for vacuuming stairs, behind furniture or ceiling fans. I am happy with this purchase.
👤The cheaper pet vacuum is the one I am going back to. The kenmore vacuum barely cleans my house once before it makes a very loud, almost tea kettle whistle. You have to open it in different ways to clean it out. I plugged it in and still had the whistle after cleaning them all out. I hate writing reviews and am done with them. I did it last time, but I am not sure if this is the right thing to do. It still didn't vacuum my whole house without needing to be cleaned out again, even with using a screw driver and doing that. I have three dogs, but not long haired dogs. This is supposed to be a pet hair vacuum. Two of the rooms have a medium shag carpet and the other two have wood or vinyl flooring. It is vacuumed regularly. I don't know why I haven't read any of the other reviews about the filter issue. So much for trying something that was a bit more expensive. The auto adjusting feature to carpet length is nice, but maybe not much else.
