The red charging indicator light on the dock will tell you the device is ready to charge. Up to 10 hours of battery life can be experienced on a single full charge.
👤The first night was great. I taught my mom how to turn it on, and she was told how to turn it off and return it to its charging dock. No! The red light didn't come on when she woke me. I told her to turn off the headphones first. It's easier to hang them up on the charge. She said she would remember tomorrow. She said she loved them and could understand what they were saying. I said I was happy to sleep well. I was trying to fall back to sleep after watching tv for 3 hours. I wrote a review about the tech support I received from AudioRange and the guy I wrote about was David. I made an error in the set up and he figured it out. The set up is very easy but I made a mistake when I looked at the pictures. I will read next time.
👤The sound quality on this headset is amazing. I returned the headset because the volume was not high enough. The headset was easy to install. The clairity is good. The only concern I have is that the headset gets warm on my ears after a long time of wearing them. They are lightweight but not material. The clarity of sound makes up for that issue.
👤These headphones are great, I am very hearing impaired, but I only hear one ear, so I would highly recommend these headphones.
👤They earned this review because I messed up and forgot to fill out my coupon code. I bought 2 for my grandmother. They worked well and are very easy to use. I had a problem. When granny went from the living room to the bathroom, one of the devices tried to pair with the wrong base. My mother called customer support and they helped her fix the problem. The support was great. Technical support to the elderly is something they excel at. Highly recommended.
👤I don't like distraction of the caption on tv and movies, but I amPukiWikiPukiWikir. I found the AudioRange to be a good fit for me. It was easy to set up. A great range. If I watch news and don't have to see the picture, I can walk around my house and still hear the program. I kept the reception static by taking my trash outside. I'm glad I discovered this technology. The headphones are comfortable, but I don't use them often. I like the feeling of not having headphones on. If my hearing gets worse, then it will be a big deal.
👤It is easy to install and use if you follow the instructions. I use an optical device. When you turn the headset on, it takes about 10 seconds. Be patient! The volume range is great. I use it with my hearing aids and it works well. I highly recommend this product. I'm changing my opinion on this item. The first head set wouldn't turn off but there was no sound. Only the left ear has audio output. I wouldn't try again.
Holdsound tv headphones can last for 20 hours' playtime on a single charge, and are always ready to be charged by placing the headsets on the charging dock. It's perfect for watching tv at a sound level much higher than those in the room who can hear fine, and it's also perfect for watching tv at a sound level much lower than those in the room who can hear fine. You can turn the tv sound to 0 and control your own volume while someone is in the same room. Just turn it on and listen immediately, no pair, just plug one wire into the back of the TV and it will start up and running in seconds. You can go downstairs to transfer wash, to the kitchen to get lunch and back to the TV even if you're 100 feet away from the transmitter. The auto charging station is great and the headset is always fully charged, you can charge the phones by sitting at the base and you can listen to music for 16 hours. The package comes with cables for easy access to audio devices.
👤I didn't know that the only way to connect to the headphones was with an RCA cable. I was able to plug them into my computer because they provide an aux cable conversion. I don't use them with my TV, but I do a lot of audio editing. The quality is great, but the 2nd time I used them they kept cutting in and out. The light wouldn't turn on immediately when I put them in the charger, but would show up after a while and never for very long. Not sure if I would go for these over some good quality headphones.
👤I had no problem setting it up. I listen to some cable stations. After many years of use, previous headphones stop working. I expect the same with these headphones.
👤The smart TV sound was not included. Within a couple months, the last 2 headphones broke.
👤A gem. The quality of this product was simply amazing. It is very well made and has a deep bass. Large ear coverings that are gentle to wear. Lying in bed is comfortable. It was the easiest connection ever. Working less than 5 minutes. I feel crazy spending all that money on the Sony because this replaces it.
👤I can tun the tv sound off when kids are in the room, it works great when they are playing.
👤The old pair of these were from Sharper Image. The red and yellow tips were easy to work with. My mom says they are comfortable. She uses them all evening without a problem, so that's how long we know the charge lasts. We thought they were worth a try. We're glad we bought them. I have been using them for about 3 weeks.
👤I have hearing loss in the range of most spoken human voices. The bass added to the sound stream by these headphones makes it easier to understand TV dialogue. My previous headphones were digital optical and these are analogue. Not a deal breaker for my bad ears, but someone might be disappointed. Rock and Roll is supposed to be loud.
👤The headphones are comfortable. They were easy to pair with our new TV. It will pop up if you turn on your access on the TV.
The 41899 provides 40 ms audio latency, which is significantly lower and better than the 200 ms of typical Bluetooth solutions on the market. The audio and visual will always be perfectly synchronized, no matter what you're watching. It works with all TVs on the market thanks to Opera's Optical, AUX, and RCA input cables. It will allow you to listen to your favorite TV shows at your own volume and not have to turn the TV speaker volume up. It's perfect for watching TV, it works with all TVs on the market, and it's easy to connect to your TV. Their headphones are perfect for on screen video. The headphones have preset to enhance your TV listening experience. You can choose from 3 different preset to emphasize speech or music. You don't need to go through the complicated process of connecting to your phone or TV, just plug Opera's transmitter dock into your TV's audio out port, and they'll connect with each other, and you should be good to go. No audio lag no matter what you watch is possible with older Non-Smart TVs. The Soundbar/Stereo AVR support is available. While sharing the same audio output port on TV, you can use your existing Soundbar or Stereo AV Receivers to listen to the TV through headphones, while your family and friends listen through the speakers. Let your ears breathe. The Opera headphones come in at 8oz, which is less than the 10oz of its competitors. The soft memory foam earpads that are designed to seal the audio in while still allowing your ears to breathe will provide you with immense comfort even after a full day of use.
👤I bought these after I bought a set of BOSE and they wouldn't connect without another item. I should have bought them first. The sound is good and they were quick to set up. It is easy to charge a cradle. I bought a separate cable for my mom to use. The feature that I love the most is that it allows the headphones to work with the tv sound. The tv sound is not as loud as it used to be, but I can still hear it. If she doesn't watch without me, she just turns the tv volume down. I am happy that she loves them so much because she got the hang of turning them on and off quickly. I wish I had bought these a long time ago.
👤I needed a replacement for my old wireless Sennheisers because I am hard of hearing. I'm wary of the devices because they don't provide the volume I need to hear comfortably. I'm happy I took a chance on the opera. The sound quality is clear and crisp, and there is enough volume with some to spare. If these headsets have enough volume for me, you people with normal hearing or mild to moderate hearing losses are going to be drowned in quality sound. I don't have to worry about anyone else hearing what I'm saying because they're well insulated and comfortable. Even though I have the transmitter inside a solid wood cabinet, they work fine, even though I'm using optical to the TV hub. Unless you're planning on using the headsets for other devices, I suggest you use the "lock" feature so the bluetooth will automatically connect to the transmitter as soon as you turn them on. If you don't, you may need to turn the headset and transmitter off to get the bluetooth to work again. I contacted the pre and post sales customer service at Avantree and they were knowledgeable and responsive. I dinged the rating for 2 small quibbles, but I like this equipment a lot. The first thing they do is give you a power cable that can be used to charge your phone or computer, and the second thing they do is give you a power cable that can be used to charge your computer or phone, and the third thing they do is give you a power cable that I needed to plug it into an outlet, but they don't have a power adapter. I think it's ridiculous that they don't include one with the package. While they claim that this product is great for seniors, all the switches are small and black on black, which is hard to see for a lot of us older types. A couple of strategically placed LEDs would help out. The Opera is a great product and I highly recommend it.
👤I'm 75 years old. Hearing is not what it used to be. I bought a headset several years ago. We got a new TV that was smarter than me. I couldn't get the old headset to work on the new TV because it would cut off the TV speakers when plugged in. I found the Opera wireless headphones on Amazon and it looked like it was what I was looking for. The only thing that was not mentioned in the description was that it might cut off the TV speakers. You could use the headset charging unit to route the sound bar. I am not familiar with the pricing of this sort of thing, but I thought it was very expensive. I was told by my wife to order it for my birthday. It arrived in a few days. The setup instructions are very easy to set up. It worked perfectly when I attached it to my TV. There is no sound bar for my TV. My wife and I could listen to the TV in different ways. I don't know about sound cancelling headphones, but when I have a headset on it is hard to hear anything else. This is a good thing. This is the most comfortable headset I have ever used. The controls are easy to use, the headset fits over my ears, and it's easy to use when you're used to it. After hours of use, there was no pain. I fell asleep with these on. The button that tones down the noise and lets the dialog come through clearly is what I like the most. When I put the earpieces down, I turned one of them too far. I thought I pulled it apart, but it went back together. I recommend that you be careful. I absolutely recommend this product.
The lightweight and flexible Aria Me comes in at 8oz ( 230g), which is less than the 10oz (300+ g) of its competitors. The replaceable soft earpads that are designed to seal the audio in while still allowing your ears to breathe will provide you with immense comfort even after a full day of use. RCA/ Audio out is compatible with most TVs, not TV OPTICAl. Whether you are playing games on your PC, watching your favorite show on TV, or spinning albums on a record player, their BTWH-035 is compatible with any device with a 3.5mm or AUX audio out port. There is no need to worry about the set being incompatible. Simply turn on the transmitter and headphones and they will connect for the ultimate audio experience. FastStream technology allows you to binge watch your favorite series on TV, catch the highly anticipated game, or pop in your favorite video with high quality sound and in perfect sync. You can add a second pair of headphones to share movies with your family. For no lip sync delay, your 2nd headphone must support the FastStream codec. The Wireless Earbuds Z702 can be used outdoors with no burden due to its portable and lightweight feature, pair it with your phone, and enjoy music and answer phone calls in super convenient way. Their neckband allows you to enjoy full range of sound without being told to turn it down. Their Z702 headphones are ideal for the hearing impaired and their families because of their custom volume controls.
👤If you're like me and need the tv loud just to discern what people are saying, these are what you need, if anyone is looking for earbuds to watch tv at night in bed so as not to disturb your partner, if you have one, or if you're like me I got them today and they allow you to have the tv volume all the way down and adjust the ear bud volume to your liking. I highly recommend them.
👤One of the things I like about these is that you can pair your own headphones with them. I have two sons at home that watch TV with their personal headphones on, so we don't have to share the in-the- ear headphones that came with the transmitter. Two sets of headphones can be connected at the same time. Their own headphones and provided headphones are very good. This allows me peace when I'm nearby, but I don't want to listen to what they're watching. Buying another set for another room is something that is being considered.
👤I bought this for my mom because she had trouble hearing the television. She can hear everything clearly now that she loves it. If the user uses hearing aids, it is best to remove them. It was easy to set up. If your television has a headphone jack, use it, not the audio jacks. The main unit rests around the neck so it's not heavy. The volume controls are easy to understand. There is no way to stop it. The on/off switch is small. There is no wall outlet plug-in charge for the headset, so you need ausb port on your computer to charge it. All the cables are micro plugs. The micro plugs can be hard for seniors to use. A tech savvy teenager could be annoyed by tiny tinny plugs. This product is still recommended by me. I showed mom how to charge the headphones, but she never called me for a follow lesson.
👤We had a nightly battle over the TV volume because my husband is a light sleeper and gets up early for work. I don't have the best hearing. I felt like the people on TV were mumbling when I was arguing with them. The sound is good and they work well. I'm not very specific. I find the neckpiece comfortable and they stay in my ears. The person next to you doesn't hear the earpiece because it's inside the ear. The battery life on the headphones seems good, but I plug it in almost daily and listen for an hour each night. If you lay on your side or cover the headphones with a blanket, you may get static. It is possible that there isn't an overwhelming static problem. Lying on your back is the best way to avoid this. The setup is easy, but my TV does not have the required audio outlets. I was able to find those outlets on the cable box. My TV has ausb port. I can charge it and keep it plugged in. If I bumped the wire on the first pair, it would cause a huge static problem. The problem is almost non-existent after I swapped them for another pair. I am very happy with this product and the price I paid.
Works on any TV. Digital compatibility with audio and video formats. The max is 120 decibels. The audio response is 20 to 20,000hertz.
👤I have used a TV Ears system for a long time. It worked well despite the process of replacing the battery in the headset. However, it finally gave up. I thought the new version was the same as the old one. I have a television set that is not fancy. I installed the new system the same way I did the previous one, but when I listened to it, I heard a delay between the TV Ears signal to my head phones and sound from the television. My wife might object to the lack of sound. It was not usable. When I finally got through to a tech person, he suggested a work-around with my television, but my Panasonic didn't have the proper setting ability. He intimated that the Amazon version was inferior to the one I could have bought from TV Ears, and that I had bought it from Amazon. I get gibberish through the head phone when I turn on the television. Pull the power source and re-attach it if you want to correct this. I don't want to go through that routine every time I watch television. Was it Amazon's fault? This is not an inexpensive device and it should work after a few simple connections. I will return it.
👤I am not happy with the product set up. When the digital cord worked in the audio output for my cable channels, we thought we had it set up. We discovered that none of the apps that came through my smart TV worked. We called the tech line to find out what to do since the manual was not clear. They ended the call when they heard how busy they were. It has been over 24 hours. We have not heard from anyone. It's annoying that the sound varies as you move. The manual doesn't clearly address today's technology and broadcast set ups. I will probably return the product if I find a better alternative.
👤I have used the original TV Ears and the 5.0Analog TV Ears for over a decade. The original headset broke and I bought the 5.0Analog TV Ears. The best of the two was explained by the original. The 5.0 Digital TV Ears is terrible and I bought it to replace the 5.0Analog TV Ears. The sound is muffled with Bass frequencies and you can't get a good sound with the adjustment on the earpiece unit. One ear is worse than the other, so I don't need a Balance adjustment anymore. I am returning the Digital TV Ears because they are so bad. I will try other brands.
👤The husband loves clarity. Wife loves quiet and peace. It is at last. They don't know it, but they love it because it's downsized to an apartment. The company called us back after we couldn't get it to work following the instructions. Techs were not able to help us with the replacement, so we had to change the settings on our tv to be compatible with the TV ears. Voila! They work well.
The TV Ears systems are twice as powerful. The technology is wireless. The headset is 8 inches in diameter. The response is 20 - 20,000 Hz. Wireless communication technology.
👤This is the second set of ears I have. The original was purchased many years ago. The transmission is line of sight and it's annoying. I bought a new pair of TV ears that were digital and thought they had improved line of sight transmission. They have not. Anything that gets in the way of the line of sight from the transmitter to the TV ears causes a loud static noise. You can't use your iPad, read a magazine, or look at your cell phone without disrupting the signal. This is not acceptable for the price. I wish I would have sent them back, but the packaging was thrown away. I bought a pair of headphones and was very pleased with them. Don't buy something that is not line of sight.
👤I wound up purchasing this three times. When they arrived, they were clearly marked "Analog" and did not work with our TV. They were purchased via Amazon's Warehouse "Deals" and were missing a cord and some ear pieces. They went back. Second time, I made sure the item was marked DIGITAL. Again, via warehouse deals. The original owner probably returned them because they didn't work. TV Ears said that they weren't operating correctly. The boxes were not "inspected" very well, despite the "inspected" stickers on them. We only did this because 2 audiologists and one ENT told us TV Ears would help. They worked this time. They have helped so far. They are made of cheap plastic and there's nothing to them except for the transmitter, which I am hoping is reasonable quality. They don't look like they should cost that much. The fancy design packaging of several boxes is more expensive than the material the unit is made of. The real test is time. The materials used in making the product are not good. They are helping my parents, and will be worth it if they last. If you want to order them directly from TV Ears' website, they are $230+). Have had trouble with missing parts and non- functioning items before. Never again.
👤My wife bought these for me because I don't sleep as early as she does. They work well but have two problems. 1. A flimsy sponge covers the rigid plastic part that goes in your ear. They hurt if not positioned right. 2. If the base of the unit is not facing the tv, it is static. The base is static because of you moving your arms. They are difficult to understand. They're excellent if you get them right. I have hearing loss and have never heard lines from movies before. Background sounds and conversations are easy to understand. I'm thinking of getting a new set for the living room.
👤Our TV Ears are disappointing. We bought the dual 5.0 ones. They worked great when we received them. The sound quality was very good and we could hear what people were saying. The digital part stopped working within a week. I called the company and talked to a tech person who said the things I tried were not working. He told them to return them to the USPS. I had to pay the postage on my own. I haven't seen what he said that I would be reimbursed for. He wouldn't send out replacements until he got the bad ones. We didn't have any for two weeks. We got the new ones and they worked well for a few days before the digital went out. The portion that is analog still works. The sound quality is not as good as the digital, but it is better than nothing. They are not worth the price I paid.
Class 1 is equipped with the highest range, which ensures stable and reliable connection of up to 100 ft. Need to make dinner? No problem, move around the house and do what you need to do without thinking about the audio cutting out. It is universally compatible. It is compatible with all TVs on the market thanks to the optical, AUX, and RCA input cables. It will allow you to listen to your favorite TV shows at your own volume and not have to turn the TV speaker volume up. You don't need to go through the complicated process of connecting to your phone or TV, just plug the transmitter dock into your TV's audio output port, power on both the dock and the headphones, and they'll connect with each. Works well with older TVs as well. Perfectly synced audio. The "FastStream" built-in of the HT5009 provides 40 ms audio latency, which is significantly lower and better than the 200 ms of typical Bluetooth solutions on the market. The audio and visual will always be perfectly synchronized, no matter what you're watching. The Soundbar/Stereo AVR support is available. While sharing the same audio output port on TV, you can use the headphones to listen to the TV at your own volume, while your family and friends listen through the speakers. Long Range, Stay Connected' is the slogan of Class 1, which has a range of up to 50 m. Need to make dinner? No problem, do what you need to do.
👤My husband and I enjoy listening to the amazing sound of these headphones. The set up and use of the headsets were very simple for us to use. They are comfortable and convenient. When we don't want to bother the other person, one of us will use them. Turn down the TV set's sound and enjoy the sound from your headset. When the TV is turned on, the headset transmitter comes on and you are good to go. We keep them charged with a cheap wall phone charger. This purchase was great for us. The company is in contact with you if you need their help. The company believes that a product is only as good as its customer service. Even though we were traveling, the company did everything they could to get us what we needed, even though our headset was still on warranty. I would make more purchases with this company. I have never experienced the dedication to please a customer that I have with Avantree.
👤The reviews are so good that I was hoping for something great. I needed a replacement for my headphones. The quality of the product was not great and the most important feature is sound. The good qualities of the Avantree headphones should be mentioned before I beat up these headphones. They are very comfortable. It's nice that they are light. The setup is very fast because the headphones are already out of the factory. Plug and play. There is no delay of sound with Blue Tooth connection, which is the only good sound aspect of these headphones. The sound that the Avantree headphones produce is not close to any kind of surround sound, so I use Turtle Beach headphones. The sound of the headphones was very hollow and had no depth. It sounded like a movie through a can. I used an optical connection to test the quality four times, because I don't like returning items. I understand that my headphones are in a higher price category, but they are eight years old, so it's not unreasonable to expect the same quality from a current headphones system. I should have taken the reviews with a grain of salt. Spend more money for a better headset. The headset is good for average listening.
👤I bought these for my father because he needed the volume on the sound system to be very loud when watching movies. The headphones have done well. They have good battery life and are comfortable to wear. The active bypass feature allows the rest of the family to watch and listen through the theater system while my father listens through the headphones. There is no lag with the unit. The set up was easy and all the cables were provided. The company has been very supportive and helpful, wanting to be sure everything is working well and that we are satisfied with the product. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for a wireless system.
👤We can't turn this off because it replies verbal. The button does not turn off or reduce the volume according to the instructions. I will say that Avantree responded to my review very quickly. They gave us the information we needed to fix the problem. It was an operator error that had nothing to do with the product.
Their neckband allows you to enjoy full range of sound without being told to turn it down. Their Z702 headphones are ideal for the hearing impaired and their families because of their custom volume controls. There is a reducing of the background noISE. The NW10 neckband hearing amplifier has a wireless remote microphone that can be placed up to 20 yards away from the talker. This will greatly improve the conversation and reduce the background noise. The voice will be clear, like someone is talking next to your ear. It's ideal for one-on-one meetings, group meetings and television listening. The NW10 has a built-in microphone and a remote microphone that can be used for a variety of activities, including one-on-one conversation, group meeting, classroom, church and watching TV. The era of rechargeable batteries is here. The microphone and amplifier are battery-operated, meaning you don't have to buy new batteries. The neckband amplifier will work for 20 hours per-charge, and the remote microphone will work for 10 hours per-charge. The most comfortable neckband is the one that reduces the burden on your ear. It's perfect for long time wearing no matter where you are. The new remote microphone is a cool accessory. Cease the volume. While watching TV, place the remote microphone near the TV and transmit the sounds to the ear without increasing the volume.
👤I purchased a Neosonic neckband for my grandmother who has lost her hearing over the last year. My grandmother had tried using hearing aids in the past, but was unwilling to use them due to her age and being uncomfortable. As a completely healthy and active centenarian, her only medical issue has been hearing loss. She can't participate in conversations and the volume on the TV has made it hard for visitors to see her. After connecting the system and giving it a test run, I stood with my back turned away from her and whispered questions into the microphone. She was able to answer questions and hear everything, even though she didn't know what I was talking about. Thankfully, the TV volume level has returned to normal. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs assistance with hearing. It's comfortable, mobile, and serves it purpose without complexity at a low cost.
👤I didn't realize how bad my hearing was until I started using these. I've tried many different hearing amplifications. They are hard to wear because of whistling or other noise problems that are hard to adjust to. This set is so easy to wear and improve my hearing that I am considering a second pair just to have as a spare. I gave them 5 stars and wish the star rating was higher. I would give them 10 out of 10.
👤We searched the internet for help for our 95 year old mom after she had a hearing test that showed she was not hearing in the right ear. She was suffering fromauditory hallucinations due to her limited ability to receive external noise stimulation. I was searching for a pocket talker when I stumbled upon the Neosonic hearing amplifier. It changed her life. She can join in on conversations, the TV volume can be reduced, and she can increase the volume with the control on the neckband. The annoying music that she heard a lot is gone. My husband's conversations with another person are better than using his hearing aids, so we ordered one for him. He is able to hear everyone's voice and can contribute his own comments when he sets the wireless micro in the middle of a dinner table. The benefits of this technology have been enjoyed by our family and mother.
👤These headphones are great. I have tried many different products in my quest to understand the dialog in a movie. I don't know how much money I wasted. I decided to give it another try after reading the product reviews. I just watched a movie and didn't say a word. It is a miracle. I have hearing loss in my right ear and deafness in my left ear. There was no feedback. The sound was consistent when I walked in another room. The volume on the TV was normal. I feel like I am back in the human race.
👤The customer service is great. They sent me another at no cost after I broke mine. The amplifier are comfortable. I can hear my husband better because they reduce the background noise. The only problem I have is the hold charge, but I liked them so much I bought a second pair. While I wear the other, I can leave one on charge. It is worth it.
Long Range, Stay Connected' is the slogan of Class 1, which has a range of up to 50 m. Need to make dinner? No problem, do what you need to do. The bundle pack includes HD. The BONUS Y-Adapter has a Stereo and 2 NeeGo Plugs. You can move freely up to 150 feet through the walls and ceiling with the headphones. Sony Technology produces high fidelity sound and booming bass. The 40mm drivers are durable and give clear Warm Sound, Dynamic Music, and Crisp Dialogue. The over ear pads are soft and lightweight and are ideal for watching movies, Binging TV, and playing video games.
👤I believe the product I received was a fake, made to look like a genuine Sony product. Absolutely horrible signal to noise. The true signal was unintelligible even with maximum input. I was surprised to find a genuine Sony product. I returned the garbage the next day. The outer wrapping was very suspect.
👤The new ear cups, smaller headband, and charging station are great. My husband and I purchased these after he broke his Sony headphones. We use these for viewing television because they make every word clear and easy to understand. British shows.
👤I've been wearing headphones for 15 years. This is the first one that provides the sound from bass to treble and the loudness levels that allow me to hear the TV clearly even without hearing aids. That is the first. The range is the best I have ever had. I didn't even think about the noise cancellation until my wife left in the morning. I didn't hear a word as she left, but I realized she had already left. The noise cancellation must have worked because she was always heard in the past.
👤The supplied batteries wouldn't hold a charge for more than a minute after a 24 hour charge. They would work with the new replacements. I learned that the headphones' batteries are proprietary to Sony after reading the owners manual. They can't be replaced with off-the-shelf batteries. You need to buy them from Sony when you need to replace them. The model number of the headphones wouldn't show up on Sony's website when I tried to find a supplier. I don't believe that the 'Sony' batteries are the only ones that can be used in these headphones. Does anyone think they could find replacements for these after a year or two? Part of the reason I returned them was built-in obsolescence.
👤It was a gift for my Dad, so I don't know if sound quality is up to snuff. It was a gift for all of us, so he wouldn't have to have the tv so loud, because he is hard of hearing. It was easy to set up and he seems to be happy with them.
👤They can't be connected to the TV without an accessory. The sound quality was not good. The quality of the headphones seems to have gone down. We own an older pair from Sony that we ordered from Amazon. I was disappointed that these were not the same quality.
👤I had to buy a cord with two ends that were not supplied with the headphones. Not happy.
👤The headphones fit well. Sound cancellation is very good. I bought them to use on my tv, but the tiv has a problem. I plugged them into my PC to listen to music and watch movies. They work well. I can enjoy without being bothered by anyone else. Volume control is hard to feel, but I have the ability to do it. Thanks.
👤"Like New" is what I bought those headphones for. They promised to deliver me Feb 2 - 4. 1. I received them on January 31, 2022. 2. They function very well and look new. 3. The battery is over a year old and probably out of warranty, so I couldn't evaluate it. It is a brand of Sony. I'm looking forward to using them for a long time.
For Digital TVs, look for TV Ears Digital Headset System. The Original Wireless Headset System works with TVs with Audio Out Ports. Voice Clarifying Circuitry has twice the power. Please make sure there is no interference in the line of sight of the transmitter to keep your signal strong, as it is possible to connect wirelessly to your analog TV. You can turn up your headset volume if you want, but others can set the television volume to their preferred level. The audio response is 20 to 20,000hertz. Their headset is lightweight and comfortable. Instructions for tips to adjust to your personal comfort are available here. The battery life of 3-6 hours of use in between charges but you must charge your headset for 14 hours before use. The foam ear tips make the headset louder. They recommend rotating the ear tips to align them with your ear canals. The included components are: a wireless headset. The Transmitter holds and charges 2 Headsets.
👤My husband received a gift as a Father's Day gift. They were easy to install and worked well for him. He keeps the television too loud and has a hearing problem. The best part for him is the tone adjustment because some female voices are too high of a pitch for him to understand. He can understand the person speaking better if he lowers the tone.
👤I bought after reading the reviews. I was surprised that tv ears had to face the transmitter in order to work. If you turned your head to talk to someone in the room, it would break the connection and the sound would crackle. If you are listening to tv and reading a newspaper, you are doing something wrong. The paper broke the connection and the sound crackled. This technology has been around for over 20 years. TV Ears is still selling old technology for $80. TV ears with a wireless technology would fix these problems. TV Ears rip off our elderly with expensive and poor technology.
👤My husband attached the wire to the audio input in the back of the tv, but he was skeptical that the ears would work. He couldn't hear the tv at all if there were any background sounds or tv wasn't on at the highest volume I watch. He looked over and said "I can hear you" and asked me to order another set in case they were damaged in the future. Tv ears are in my miracle for him this year.
👤I am very disappointed that I have to return them. After charging them for 48 hours, they stopped holding a charge. I tried different times but nothing worked.
👤I like hearing aids. My hard hearing makes me turn up the TV volume more than other people. I bought this to see if it would help. With it, you can actually hear things that you wouldn't normally hear, like voice inflections, obscure noises of people and things moving about. After a while, it becomes tiring to have the ear pieces stuck into your ears. The earpieces should be put above the ear canal on the part of the ear that is not connected to the brain. It's highly recommended for anyone who has a problem with hearing the TV. You will love them.
👤The voice clarifying function was the reason we bought these headsets, but it did not help us. The head sets function as well as the TV sound functioning, so one person can listen with headphones without blocking sound for another. That is not the case with our TV set. The volume on our headsets was too low for decent listening. The earpiece itself was cracked and broke on the second use of the set that arrived with it. There is a After 48 hours of being in the position that was supposed to help, the instructions for limbering up the arcs of the head set were hard to follow and didn't do much good. Both sets were returned by us.
Quality without compromising on convenience is what 100' WIRELESS RANGE is about. You can connect to an device with a 3.5mm audio jack or optical in/out ports, then forget about it, and use the on-board controls for the ultimate wireless listening experience. Ensure that your television is loud and clear with crystal clear audio when you are watching it. A headset, dedicated volume controls, and interchangeable earbuds are included. Simply plug the audio cable from the output jack on your TV into the transmitter, slide the power button on the back of the transmitter to mono or stereo, and press the power button on the headset. No passwords, no headaches. It is comparable with most devices. The wireless headphones system is compatible with most TVs, cable/satellite boxes, and audio receivers, thanks to the included digital optical and analog auxiliary audio cables. A microphone and button built into the headset will amplify surrounding audio and mute TV audio. The ITE-1000 has voice-clarifying tone control, right/ left balance control, and a long- lasting, rechargeable battery. The headset is 50% lighter than traditional headphones and includes eartips to make it more comfortable. The replaceable battery is long-lasting. The included charging dock has a slot for the headphones. You can see the charging indicator light on the dock if you look closely.
👤I bought these for my father because he is in charge of the TV volume, and our family complains when it is too loud. The sound quality of the TV is good. I liked that this headset works with more than just cable. It was easy to set up. You don't need to pair the headset with your TV or enter a password to set it up, it's true! It was easy to get the headset working with my dad's TV. There are a couple things. We started using the headset and I knew about it. He has more hearing loss in one ear, so he could adjust the balance. If he wants to join in on a conversation, he doesn't have to take them off and put them back on. He can use the mic button to talk. There is no delay between the TV and headset, which is not typically with similar headsets, and my dad seems to use it quite a bit. A practical gift makes a family happy.
👤I bought the headset for my husband because he listens to television too much when the house is sleeping. You can hear a pin drop in our house when everyone is asleep, so you can imagine how this could be a problem. I thought he could continue watching television while using the headset. You can use the headset on my TV and be the only one who can listen to the TV. There are bonus points for that. We can all watch TV and not have to disturb anyone. When the time comes, I can figure out what I did not use it for. The packaging was clean. Everything was intact. Instructions are in both paper and code. The accessories included in the box have multiple connections so that you can use them with older TVs. You will be able to install these headphones easily. The install is easy to use for people who like to plug and play and figure it out as they go. The device is easy to use and comfortable to wear.
👤Those who don't like to read longwinded reviews can find some quick highlights. Everything was intact. Instructions are in both paper and code. You will be able to hook these headphones up with ease because they are included with multiple connections. A lot of tech requires you to buy specific cables. The device is easy to use and comfortable to wear. For questions or concerns, call the customer support number or send an e-mail. The longwinded version for everyone who wants the feeling of why this is a great product is what I bought for my grandmother who just turned 90. Everyone in the house is able to hear the TV, but she is having trouble hearing it. I had to find a solution for everyone so that she could have a nice pair of wireless headphones that would allow her to have a well-rounded listening experience without having wires all over the room. I gave these to my grandmother a couple of weeks ago and she has made it a point to thank me for it. She loves how light and comfortable they are and how easy it is to use the controls. She can not believe that it is possible for her to hear the TV in her room. The gram can be in the living room enjoying TV and she doesn't have to share it with the rest of the family. My grandmother was impressed that there is a dedicated customer service line that she could call if she needed help with her headphones. We did a test call to make sure she could get a hold of someone after I saved the number in her cell phone. The customer support is friendly and I know she will be well taken care of. If she has a question, I will not have to be the tech support for that. I had to write a review after hearing how happy she was with the AudioRange ITE-1000 headphones and now I have to buy more for family members who I know will benefit from them.
