Immerse yourself in your games with powerful amplified audio from your consoles. The sound is ready for the Xbox One and compatible with Windows 10 PCs. Turtle Beach's mic picks up your voice loud and clear, and flips up to make it easier to hear. Breathable fabric wrapped memory foam ear cushions provide unparalleled comfort. Variable mic Monitoring: You can adjust the volume of your voice inside the headset so you don't have to shout. There is a chat available for games that support it.
👤The Stealth 600 is something you should buy. It is the same headset, the same look, and the same button. The 600 have Super Human Hearing while the 700 have Dolby Atmos ready. The wired 600 lasts a lot longer than the wireless 600, which lasts about 12 hours. I have both. I prefer the wireless as my main. You can barely hear yourself on the headsets. Everyone still complains that they can hear my AC even though it's on low and 5 feet away. The mic is very good. The Windows Sonic is free and good because there is barely anything out there that uses Dolby Atmos at the moment. If you want to save $20 and don't mind the cord having to plug into the controller, then these are very nice.
👤I bought these headphones because I have always been a fan of the disease. The sound quality is good, but the microphone is no longer working and it's the worst headset I've ever bought. I've never had a headset that had one of its key features suddenly stop working. I think I'm an exception, but I've seen other reviews of people with the same issue.
👤I use turtle beach headsets above all others. I was not happy with this set. Unless you want to have the headset in your lap while you play, you have to buy some kind of cable for the headset. The turtle beach headset does not have a longusb cable that the 3.5mm jack can plug into. They changed the way it rests on your head. They used to cover your ears, but now the angle is way off and the ban is almost on my head. I am not putting them on wrong. The pover cable is less than a foot. You have to buy an extention cord just to use the headsets and also charge them separately if you want to. I'm returning these because I don't want to waste your money.
👤My kids broke my old ones so I got this headset. The sound was great and it worked well in the beginning. It gave out static noise within the first 3 days of use and other players in game party or private chat would hear it making it unbearable. I returned the product and bought a different brand of headphones because I was really looking forward to this headset, but it only happened when I turned on the microphone.
👤I wanted to upgrade my headset since my TV has good sound. We live on a busy street. I'm completely shocked by the quality of this headset. Even if I'm wearing glasses, the headset is very comfortable. The surround sound is amazing. The direction of the sound is superb for online gaming and I am hearing completely new sounds on games I've played for a long time. You can hear footsteps before they are even close to you. The sound is so good that it made some games so intense that I almost didn't want to play them. I've used the headset to watch a few TV shows when I didn't want to wake up my roommate later in the night, and it worked great for that. You will see headsets going for more than this. This really does the trick for the average game player. It's worth your money.
The simplicity and superiority of a direct connection from your headset to your console is what you will get with Xbox Wireless. Windows Sonic is a virtual surround sound system for headphones. Block out background noise and stay fully immersed in your games; Enjoy Hearing Pure game and chat audio; and nothing else. Call and listen to your favorite music while playing a game. To adjust a variety of settings, connect to the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app. You can update your headset with the Turtle Beach Audio Hub for the latest feature updates, and then personalize it with the Audio Hub for both phones and tablets.
👤The review was done as of 2-4-18. The headphones were ok, but the microphone was terrible for talking, and I ordered a new pair at the end of December. I sent the pair back to Amazon. I bought a pair of rig 800lx fromBB and they were worse than the stealth 700's as they did not hold a connection at all. I bought another pair of stealth 700's to give them another chance. The mic is great, but the headband is a little tight for long periods of time. I have a big head, so it's fair for the headset. The stealth 700's can be enjoyed if you get your headset to work the correct way. Follow the steps. 1. Don't connect the stealth 700 headset to the xbox one, s, or x yet. 2. Attach the headset to the computer with the microusb cable and let the windows install the necessary software. 3. Clicking on the Turtle Beach Software that was just installed will let you know that the headset is connected to your computer. 4. The headset will be updated with the newest version of the software. You can use the following settings to make this an incredible headset. Unless otherwise stated, use these settings exactly. 1. The level of the mic monitor will be set all the way up to the right side of the screen. 2. The tones will be in the middle level. 3. Voice prompt level can be either up or down. 4. You can change the audio preset to your liking. The boost needs to be on. 6. The active noise canceling or mic gate needs to be turned off. It's set to start. Your crew will be able to hear you in party chat if your mic is clear. The most important setting is this one. If this setting is set to off, you will not be able to hear your friends through the mic, the headset may cut out, and you will not have mic monitoring if it is set to on. The stealth 700 series is available for xbox one from Turtle Beach. The headband is not very comfortable, which is why I did not give this a 5 out of 5. The other features of the headset give it a 4 star rating. I use dolby atmos for headphones in the settings. Dolby atmos can be purchased for 14.49 us dollars plus tax.
👤First things first. You can plug these into a computer. Let's go from there. For the first 3 to 4 hours, they are comfortable. These are nice because I have a big head. They spread out nicely and there's plenty of room for a bigger head. They'll fit around a paint can. They don't get tight as you pull them further apart. They are loose. Not loose. They don't pinch the head. There is a lot of cushion for the top of your head. These headphones are the most convenient I have ever used. There is a There are no carbons because of the internal battery. There is no one. Completely wireless! You can chat and play with your headphones on. Nuthin' gets plugged into something. I like that. If you don't charge the battery when it's low, you can play, but there would be a wire. Only then. When I'm done with gaming, I usually let them charge. They're a type of storage device. I have not had any issues with the XBOX. I haven't tried it yet. When I'm gaming a couple times a week at night, the only people that would call me are online. The chat volume and game volume work in different ways. The chat would get louder if I turned up the game, but not with these. The feature seems to work well. I could hear where the predator was on the map in the predator mission. You flip the mic up so nobody can hear you. My friends can hear it when I silence it. If you want total privacy when muting, be aware that there is a little noise of some kind, and they would know they were being muted. Everything seems to be going well so far. Why are you three stars? It bugs me every single time I use these. It could be the mic or the mic monitoring. When you start to talk, the microphone is in an off position. I think it's noise canceling for the people online with me. It's so annoying when I start to talk and the mic "comes on" and there is a delay before I hear myself in the headphones. I probably hear myself in the room for 2 or 3 tenths of a second before I hear myself in the headphones. They're fine once I'm into the sentence and when I'm done speaking, but I'd like to be able to hear myself as loud as my teammates. I don't notice that the mic is shut off. There's that delay again soon as I say something else. GRRRRR. I used to have the X32, which was wonderful. I'm talking about a mic, but it didn't exist. It was always on. A lag or delay is never something to be avoided. I hope I have a clear idea of what my problem is. It's difficult to explain by writing about it, you have to use them in person to know what I mean. It's a big deal for me and that's why I get 3 stars. There's so much to like about these, that's why they're less than 3 stars. If these didn't have the mic issue, they would be the best gaming headset I've ever used and 5 stars all day. If my problem with them doesn't bother you, I'd say buy these immediately! P.S. The charging cable is the best I've ever seen. It's easier to pull out of the headset with the shape of your fingers. I like it. There is an update. Wait a second! Wait a minute. I decided to read the top review for this headset after I posted the review. You can follow J Dog's settings guide if you go into the Stealth 700 settings after you download the software. All I had to do was turn off the mic gate. No more delays. Wow. At the end of the review, I said what I thought. This is the best headset I have ever owned. I love them now. Thank you J dog! 👤At the end is the title. I use an XBOX One X. I've been using the Turtle Beach Stealth 500X for the past 4 years, but have a USB dongle connected to the XBOX, and it was fully wireless to the controller, but held together by popsicle sticks and electrical tape. That's what I'm using to compare sound quality. First impressions: 1. I was expecting the entire band to be metal, but they feel like a decent headset. I'm pretty sure that the cans are made of plastic and that the headband extension happens when they hit the hinge. They fit well but seem heavy. The bonus travel case is nice. The buttons seem flimsy. I don't see this as an issue for me because I'm very careful. I was expecting more metal and less wobble on the buttons. 2. They were easy to pair up. It took about 5 minutes. 3. I played three games for 3 hours. I had audio drops in every game. On an average, it is more frequent, less frequent. Sometimes it's a half second, sometimes a second, sometimes a few seconds. That is a killer. Wait for the audio to come back up. The noises were great as did the game. I wish I could make it sound better. I would have liked separate sound profiles for racing games. These are loud and good. They seem louder than the stealth 500x's. I feel like I can hear better with the LS35x's, and I use both of them. Maybe it's placebo. I will test further. I worry about the hinges and headband over time, but it seems to be good quality. They are loud and sound great. I've only tested using the Dolbey Atmos. I think it's better than the stealth 500x's. It's easy to connect to the console. 100% wireless. They turn off when you turn off the console. If there isn't an immediate fix, there will be too many disconnects and noBLE. Can't connect to phone to use headset or play audio from mobile device. This is a big miss since most newer mobile devices don't have the 3.5mm jack. If you don't have a 3.5mm jack on your phone, works wired doesn't mean much. The preset is the only thing that matters. It doesn't work for all games. The turtle beaches had preset for different game genres and you could connect to a PC and change them. They would highlight different sounds. Sound and build is good but there are too many audio drops. There is no EQ. I didn't feel like waiting for a firmware update. The audio drops might be a problem. Don't buy them. I used these for 2 more hours after trying all the tips. I unpaired/re-paired, walked out of the room with a headset and controller, and then both, to re-pair with the XBOX. Nothing works and these are disconnected a few times a minute. I don't have any faith that this company can provide a quick firmware update, even if they could, because of the way the pre-order, delays, lack of information, and launch went. 1 audio cutout is not acceptable. These are cut out constantly. It's like every time you move your head, they don't know what you're doing. The cutouts aren't an avid gamer, so anyone who says that they aren't a big deal is lying. Call-outs, sound cues, and Directional Awareness are all in the games I play. Shame on LucidSound for shipping these out and not having a fix for them. Quality control is non-existent. I was disappointed after waiting so long and being shipped a flawed product. They are going back for something reliable.
Turtle Beach has a high-sensitivity mic that picks up your voice loud and clear. ImmersIVE GAMING AUDIO - Superior 40mm over- ear speakers produce crisp highs and thundering lows, and are designed to support spatial audio technologies. MultiPLATFORM COMPATIBILITY is designed for the following: Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, PC Gaming, and Mobile devices. The band is called METAL-REINFORCED. A metal-reinforced headband is made of metal. There are foam EAR CUSHIONS. The ear cushions are made of synthetic leather. The ProSpecs design removes pressure on your glasses while you play. On-EAR VOLUME CONTROLS allow you to quickly adjust volume.
👤We have a girl in the family that loves these. The Turtle Beach brand is already a fan of these. The sound quality? Excellent. The design? It was sleek. Is it a good idea to upgrade to the microphone? Outstanding. Her old headset has a clip on microphone that is attached to her flip up flip up headset. The fit? Finally a headset that fits her. She is small, so most of them slip and slide around, even at the smallest size, but these don't. The padding? Fantastic. She wears glasses that absorb the stems so they don't hit her head. The colors? So pretty! Headsets are typically gender neutral or a little more masculine, but these are light and bright, a nice change. The price? It's reasonable for the quality level. Turtle Beach is a definite winner. If you clickHelpful, it will help your decision.
👤I am not happy with this headset. The mic is too close to the speakers. Everyone in my call can hear it perfectly, but I can't have anything playing in my headset. Any volume that is over 40% is going into the mic. The issue is that the mic is too close to the speakers. The mic is far away from my mouth, so it doesn't pick up quieter responses. The mic and sound quality are good, but that is to be expected at this price. Sometimes it produces a crackling sound. It looks pretty.
👤I absolutely adore these! The difference between these and the cheap hand-me-down headset I had is crazy, especially since these aren't really expensive. They are marketed as glasses friendly. They are soft and can be adjusted. I wear them for several hours at a time and they don't hurt. I like that I can flip the mic up if I want to quiet myself down. I use them for both consoles and have never experienced any problems.
👤Love the color and the comfort of the buy. The new game chair looks great.
👤After two months, broke. These weren't manhandled. I am not sure if it was design or material issues. Trying other brands. These were expensive for only a couple of months. We put glue on them. Not sure if the glue will hold. The break was the same for everyone. I am trying to get a refund but it looks like it is not happening. It's really bad. They replaced the set after reaching out to customer service. Will watch the next one. Customer service was very attentive. Thanks!
👤I wanted to do an update and move it to a better rating. I still agree with everything I've said before. They stopped working after 3 months and I am very careful with my gaming set up because I am very particular. Sometimes they didn't work together and sometimes they didn't work at all. There was a small break in the connection area on the headset which I didn't think was a big deal, and I don't think it would have caused the issues I was having. I was noticing audio issues for a couple of weeks. This all happened as a result of the hit. It took Turtle Beach 3.5 weeks to get back to me about this, because they took so long to respond to other items I was getting replaced with. After a week, I was replied to from that thread after I sent another email. I was not impressed because I couldn't go out to stores to get a replacement and I was following state regs to avoid non business related travel. This company was the only one that ignored their customer and took too long to fix it. I was able to take a picture of the info on the cord and learn how to cut it. They agreed to send me a replacement and so far it has worked well. I couldn't find any damage with it. Overall, I still agree. I didn't experience this with any other company and it was so frustrating to have to go through all of that for a replacement. If that matters to anyone, I had a fan replaced and a wireless one sent to me for warranty issues, but I had to wait less than a week for confirmation of shipments. It is comfortable, cute and clear. They are a little large but still can feel snug after a couple hours in the ears. I wish you could change the volume of the game and voice at the same time.
Compatibility with the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S is ongoing. It is ready for XBOX to support spatial audio technologies. Turtle Beach's renowned high-sensitivity mic picks up your voice loud and clear to ensure your commands are always heard; plus, it flips up out of the way to hide when not in use and blends into the headset's design. The speakers are high-QUALITY. 40mm over- ear speakers produce crisp highs and thundering lows. The weight barrier is light. A lightweight headset design ensures complete comfort during those hours-long gaming sessions. There are premium early cushions. Synthetic leather-wrapped ear cushions have added comfort, improved bass response and better noise-isolation. It works great with PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, and PC and Mobile devices with 3.5mm Connection.
👤My son has a replacement headset. He's happy. He said it was better than his old one. My kid can't hear me tell him to take out the trash because they cancel noise well.
👤I bought this headset and it doesn't have a switch. You can change it to work other than that.
👤The microphone broke off the base after 3 months of use. We glue it. Turtle Beach was contacted. They wanted us to send them a photo. I told them that we glue the microphone back onto the base. The device needed to be replaced under warranty based on the photo. They wanted us to cut the cable on the headset and send them a photo to prove that we did so. They decided that the headset needed to be replaced but wanted us to go through the extra steps to prove that we did what they wanted. This isn't how you treat your customers. If they wanted the device back so they could do whatever they wanted with it, then they should have sent us a return label.
👤I wanted to use this headset. The audio was clear at first. After using it for 2 weeks, I'm no longer happy. It's fine with most games. When playing a game with a lot of audio and gunfire, the audio skips a lot. This is the only time the skipping happens. I can play some games without issues. If I'm in a heavy mission with a lot of noise, it's rough. Half of the in game noise has already been silenced. I don't know if I got a bad quality headset or a faulty one.
👤These headphones are very good. They don't have every gizmo that you want, but they have everything you need, including a cool flip-up mic, and they're cheap. There were no complaints.
👤They sound great, the mic picks up good, and the mute works. It feels like there is a heating element inside the headphones after they have been on your head for 15 minutes, and it becomes unbearable to wear continuously for over 30 minutes. I would love to have my money back if you only use these for short gaming sessions.
👤You have to change the Nintendo Switch default settings to make the microhone work.
👤I bought this on a budget to replace my headset. The Recon 70 is lighter and more comfortable, doesn't require separate charging (wired to controller) and the flip-to-mute mic works well. There are pros and cons. The sound is not as good as the PS Gold, and there is no chat volume control. If your friends' mic volume is low, you will not be able to hear them very well.
👤I was going to return the headset because I thought the mic wasn't compatible with the Nintendo Switch. You need to change your settings. To ensure that Voice chat is on, open the game, then settings, then audio, and check that it's 'open mic'. Press the X button to apply the changes. You can either power off or restart your switch. I had to find a video on YouTube to learn how to pair the box.
The built-in inline mic can be used when on the go or the built-in mic can pick up your voice loud and clear. 10mm speakers produce crisp highs and thundering lows. It's designed for Nintendo Switch and mobile gaming. It works with PS5 and PS4 Pro, as well as the other consoles. It is light and convenient to play for hours in complete comfort with interchangeable ear-tips and stabilizers. The inline controller has a variety of functions, including master volume control, mic mute, and a button on supported devices.
👤Everyone else wrote bad reviews about "echo and fit". If you don't understand the concept of the audio settings for mic mixing in the game, you will get echo, and those people don't know what they're talking about. After 2 hours my ears were a little sore but not bad for playing. I like to switch off between earbuds and Turtle Beaches. To get the mic monitoring to work properly I had to turn down the volume through the Xbox One 2 clicks and put the mic monitoring all the way up. The chat mixer was set to default. The mic volume on the inline volume was less than the max volume. It seemed perfect. I use the party chat in the game and didn't have any complaints from my friends. If there was an echo, I would see that it was coming from my mic, it's good for me when I want to take a break from my headband or Turtle Beaches. It's a good option to run the earpiece with the mic, you don't have to wear both of them.
👤I have been a fanatic for a long time. Extending mic to pick up my breathing is big, comfy cushiony ear pads. Well, great right? bulky expensive headsets were the best sounds you could get out of a game, the closer to your budget the better. It would be easy to drop $100 and still have complaints. A friend of mine said that he played with earbuds. I thought he was messing with me when he cracked at every game he played. He told me that he was serious. His earbuds cost $30 bucks. They were not Turtle Beach, but a different brand. I wondered how you hear footsteps and direction. How do you hear something similar to a headset? I want to tell you all that you have been lied to about the gigantorb ear muffs that weigh five pounds sitting on your head. I put the mic in the Turtle Beach Battle buds and then put it in my controller. I became an ear buds user. The sound is in-depth, from the bass to the all around game noises. The sound is crystal clear at the perfect volume. I was impressed. The mic monitoring on these babies was something that impressed me. I could hear my own voice in my own ears and adjust myself according to what I heard. They are comfortable, stylish and perfect length. I can't believe it could be $30. Yeah. Buy em. Do it. Do it now.
👤echo is just tons of echo. No matter who I speak with, the mic echos. To stop the echo, I have to turn the headset volume on my xbox 1 down. Don't buy!
👤These are amazing. They are portable and easy to carry, and they are better than some headsets that cost more. Once you find the right size, the earbuds will stay in and you won't feel the microphone. The microphone is short and it is on the side of your mouth, but it still has a quality that you would see on 100 dollar plus headsets, and its size makes it not noticeable when playing. I have nothing bad to say about these.
Powerful audio is achieved by refined ear cup acoustics and 50mm speakers. The microphone integrates into the headset when it's muted and enhances chat clarity. Turtle Beach's exclusive Superhuman Hearing sound setting lets you hear subtle, game-changing sounds so you can live up to 20% longer and win more. The Turtle Beach Superhuman Hearing study was conducted in May. It's possible to deliver surround sound with Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone: X, but it may require additional purchases, app downloads, and supported hardware. MIC MONITORING is a way to hear your own voice while you chat with friends. It's glasses-friendly. The ProSpecs comfort-driven design removes pressure on your glasses while you play. You should always be prepared to play with up to 15-hours of gaming per charge using the included charging cable.
👤I read reviews before buying electronics, so I was pretty sure that I would either love or hate this headset. The mic monitoring made the item useless, according to reviews. The headset is comfortable and the sound is clear. You change it in your settings on the console and everything changes. It's amazing. The sound is clear and the volume is great. The sound was too low in other sets. This one doesn't have that problem. It has a volume adjustment on the side of the headset. I don't like having to change the sound settings on the xbox. The ear pieces are light and comfortable. I wear glasses and most headsets push my glasses in on my head. The headset is comfortable and doesn't push on my glasses. The only thing bad about this headset is that it has a foam feeling pad on top of the headband. It will wear down after a while. I like the cloth strap better than the Arctis, but can we really have everything? Plug your headset into a computer before you use it. Turtle Beach has an update program that you can download. If you do this, you won't have any issues with the mic monitoring that people are complaining about. Take your time and do your update! The paper inside tells you to update your firmware. Your issues are not a problem with the headset if you fail to do so.
👤The headset was released in September. Many of the issues will be fixed eventually. Below is a list of issues. 1. It's nearly impossible to play online games because of the sound. If somone is walking behind me on my left, the headset will make the footstep sounds on my right. Everything is not the same. 2. The mic settings pick up noise in the house and outside. The mic has an echo so you can hear everything. 3. The turtle beach app is the only way to calibrate the mic and headset. The app doesn't work on the phone, so you have to use a computer to change settings. 4. I downloaded the app to try and fix the issues I have. I followed the instructions after updating the software. The headset had a red light turn on after I finished updating it. I can't turn off the headset or connect to the console. I think I need to wait for the batteries to die and hope it works once I charge the headset. 5. Turtle Beach can't help you with any of your problems because all customer support is backed up. I now have a headset that can't be turned off or used. Turtle Beach needs to fix these issues soon. Turtle Beach needs to hire better test and design verification engineers. There are too many issues with this product.
👤I ordered these and out of the box they were terrible. I downloaded the software from Turtle Beach and plugged it into my computer to make sure it was up to date. They have been working well. These went from 5 stars to 5 stars for me. Will update if there are other issues.
50mm over- ear speakers deliver Turtle Beach's signature audio tuning. The phone is called the DTS Headphone. PS5 users will need an optical connection from either TV, Receiver or an HDMI to optical conversion to experience the 7.1 channel surround sound gaming audio on PS5 and PS4. Turtle Beach has a noise-cancelling mic that will ensure your voice is always heard loud and clear. Turtle Beach's exclusive Superhuman Hearing sound setting lets you hear subtle, game-changing sounds so you can live up to 20% longer and win more. The Turtle Beach Superhuman Hearing study was conducted in May. You can connect to the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app from your mobile device to unleash the full power of the Elite SuperAmp, and also stream music or take calls while gaming. The Yiddish phrase "DYNAMIC CHAT BOOST" is used. You can increase incoming chat volume over game audio. Variable microphone monitoring allows you to adjust the volume of your voice inside the headset so you don't have to shout.
👤Not many people leave bad reviews. I was going to switch out my old Astro a50's because I bought these extremely excited. I traded them in for these. It's a huge mistake in its current state. The audio is very low. I have better spacial awareness thanks to my tv audio. It feels like a brand new bad model, judging by the reviews. No word back from support after contact. At this point, I'm really disappointed and frustrated. Playing a game that requires you to hear footsteps shouldn't require someone to shoot you in the head. You are already dead. The volume is not as high when testing the "superamp" at 50 - 75%. I can only hear anything above 75% and it feels broken. You shouldn't be able to get better audio from a pair of headphones. Unless something changes, I'm probably going to return them soon. I replaced the model through Amazon and hope the issue is isolated as it seems like it's too low like you were hearing the game through a clock radio with headphones on. I will try this out and hopefully update my review or switch to a new brand completely. New pair was received in Update 2. The first pair was worse. These headphones have to be a joke. The audio is terrible. It feels like everything is the same. To make them usable, you have to run around with super human hearing on. Anything below 75% audio in the mixer is completely silent. These headphones are garbage. I would look elsewhere for good headphones with a high price tag. You are buying a brand name with no support and a pair of clock radios that sit on your head. Went with gaming headphones and had no problems since. The gaming headphones subreddit has pinned buyers guide threads, so I highly recommend it. When I mentioned I bought these, I was laughed at. Don't waste your time.
👤I am disappointed that it never came to Turtle beach. My dad was more loyal to your brand than my mom was.
👤The audio quality of this headset is top of the line, but it does not go loud enough, which is something that many people have said. I will return these and go back to my seven pro headset if there isn't a fix for this. If you like a loud headset, just hold off on it, and see if they can fix the problem with the volume, that people are having with it. If you plug your headset into the controller, you can hear the low volume, but the problem is that the amplifier won't let you go past a certain volume if you disconnected the headset from the amplifier. Hope this helps people who are having problems with this headset.
👤Turtle Beach is not very loud or has a bottom end, so it's junk. It's a Pathetic for a Pre-amp. After 3 updates from turtle Beach, the device doesn't save settings, so you have to use the turtle Beach app to adjust the sliders and turn on or off features. It's garbage. It's a poor design, no street to mic support, and I had to set my headset down on the back side. I wish I could get my money back, but it's not true. I was excited until I got them.
Astro Audio V2 is an audio and sound experience that delivers dialogue, music and in-game sound clearly. High resolution gaming audio is delivered by the company, Dolby Audio. 👤I want my money back. 30 years of gaming and have seen the evolution of headsets. Astro was knocked back 5 years. I will never buy from this brand again because of this release. Do you want your headphones to work randomly? Do you want to play games more than fix your headset? You have found the headset of your dreams. This is the most disappointing product I've ever had.
👤I bought this headset to replace my Turtle Beach Elite 800x headset because I was hoping it wouldn't hurt my ears after a long gaming session. I am very pleased with the headsets and they are very comfortable. They sound good. I usually have them set about halfway. It was easy to setup them. I like the look of the command center. I've never dropped below 50% charge even after gaming most of the day. I can't stress how comfortable these things are. This is a great headset and I will give it 5 stars once a simple problem is fixed. The headset won't be recognized by the console after it's turned on. To get the headset to be recognized, you have to either switch the mode switch to PC or the base station. I decided to leave a 1-star review in hopes that it would motivate ASTRO to fix it, because I see forum posts about this going back to the Gen3 version in 2016 I reached out to customer support. There is no estimate on when the update would be released, but they are working on a fix for the connection issue. Hopefully, they know what the problem is and it will be resolved in a short time. Customer support ended in a dead end. The issue with the Xbox persists. I've been trying to check if there's a new update, but it never happens. It seems that support for the new product is over. I reached out to customer support again and was given a version of the software to install on my headset. The problem is now solved. I don't have to reset the headset anymore to get it to connect to Xbox. I never got a prompt to update through the command center, so it's not clear if this update is published publicly yet. If you're having an issue, reach out to customer support.
👤3 hours into using. I noticed that there was no loss or drop of sound. It was very comfortable. The large soundstage is amazing. Earcup material is not as comfortable as steel series. The sound of the Astro is more powerful than before. Netrual color is bad. The bass punch is more than 888-270-6611 The sound stage is bigger than the pro and the arcsi 9x. I updated the firmware a few days later and I am now having a sound hiccup every 15 minutes or so. A killer. Trying to sort this out. I will update soon. Update weds aug 14. There are few and far between hiccups. The base station was not recognized by the xbox. I have to plug the headset in before the sound comes out. Hope these issues are solved soon. The sound and comfort is still a 5, but the problems after the update have brought this down to a 4 star. The sound drops are brief but frequent and bring you out of the room. I experience the same thing with the arcstis 9x but it is much less frequent. I like the sound of the 9x pin point. The Astro won for adventure games. For an edge in the competition. I spent too much on headsets. They both kick ass.
The Turtle Beach Recon chat headset works great with PS5 and PS4 Pro, and works great with other consoles with 3.5mm Connection. Reversible over-EAR design. The Recon chat has an over- ear cup that can be worn on either the right or left ear. A high quality 40mm speaker delivers crystal clear chat audio. Convenient in-line controls can be found at the Turtle Beach Recon chat. You can use chat volume and microphone right at your fingertips.
👤This is a legit purchase. I received a replacement after the first pair gave me problems. I gave it a single star because of the problems I had with the headset. I have small ears, so most headsets hurt my ears. It's difficult to find a decent headset that rests on my ears. I was relieved after putting this headset on for the first time. I thought I had found the perfect headset. The problem started after plugging in the headset. The first question my team asked me was, "Why is your headset buzzing?" I asked if it was. Hold on. I adjusted my microphone and headset volume levels. They said there was still a buzzing andumming noise when I spoke. I took a test. My basic headset comes with all PS4 consoles. They were asked if they heard feedback or static. They said no. You're clear. I plugged the Turtle Beach Headset back in and they said, "Yep, there's the buzzing again!" I entered to see if it was a party chat issue. I didn't have a chance to say anything before everyone yelled "DUDE! Your voice! Oh my gosh, it hurts! Embarrassment, to say the least. I tried plugging the headset into my PS4 console, but there was still feedback. I knew it was a headset malfunction. I ordered and received a replacement pair after I thought the pair I received was just bad. After plugging in the replacement headset, my team said, "You're buzzing again." I'm frustrated. Turtle Beach is known for its gaming headsets. When I order a pair that's advertised to be specifically for PS4 and PS4 Pro, but doesn't completely and entirely plug into the PS4 controller, I can imagine my frustration. I can imagine my frustration when it's advertised to provide "Crystal Clear chat", but causes audio feedback, static, humming, and buzzing. The headset does not work well with PS4. This headset is perfect if you plan to listen to your team, but not speak. Is the headset intended for that? "CHAT Gaming Headset" is what it says. I wouldn't recommend this headset to anyone. Be prepared to return if you want to buy. I just did.
👤The speaker's sound is clear and crisp. The speaker side has an open cup design. I can keep the game sounds on my sound system. I like the design of the speaker. That's a great feature. I have a quiet voice, so the mic must be better than the last headset I had, because no one has complained. The black foam padding on the non-speaker side is firm for my liking. Sometimes the band across the top of your head is so tight that I have to take it off and take a break. I'm not sure what to do with the headband, it seems like it got bent in a small circle, it came in a small box. I might be able to find a box that is the same width as my head and store the headset in it. It might be possible to stretch out the plastic headband and make it more comfortable to wear. I play online with friends for 2 to 3 hours a day. I have to take breaks after 1.5 hours because of the headband tightness.
It works with Windows Sonic if you pair the headset with a surround sound system that puts audio with a high degree of accuracy. The large 50 millimeter drivers of the gaming headsets create a better gaming experience. Also works well for other services. The closed ear cup design of the gaming headset blocks out background noise and the noise canceling mic picks up your voice and transmits clear communication to teammates. All-day comfort is delivered by the ultra soft memory foam ear cushions and padded headband. Steady fit for all head sizes is ensured by lightweight and retractable aluminum headband. The control wheel and mic switch on the cable are convenient in-line controls. It's perfect for Call of Duty, Star Wars, and other games. There is a gaming headset with microphone support for PS5 and PS4. The professional customer service warranty is 7* 24H.
👤These headphones are very quiet. I don't have to turn up the volume too loud. The sound quality is crystal clear when it comes to hearing. I hear a lot of noises that my old headphones wouldn't pick up. I can have the volume up to 25% and it can be too loud sometimes. If I have the microphone too close to my nose, it will pick up my breathing. People can hear me with no problems if I have the mic. I don't have to have the mic in my mouth for people to hear me. The headphones are comfortable to wear. These headphones don't bother my ears or hurt my head if I wear them for more than a couple of hours. The cord is long.
👤The price is one of the factors that we consider when buying a gaming headset. The budget plays a big part in determining whether or not I can get. The price factor is something that can be misinterpreted. Many people bought low-quality gaming headsets and headphones, while others haven't gotten value for their money. We decided to try the GH 100 wired gaming headsets, which is under $50, after a lot of research. We may need a budget of over $200 to get a headset that offers high-end gaming. If you can afford it, buy it because people get real value for their money. There is a All is not lost if we operate with a tight budget. It is possible to get high-quality gaming headsets even with a budget. One way to make sure that buyer gets a great gaming headset is to avoid wireless headsets. It's rare to find good wireless headsets with a budget. wired gaming headsets under $100 will not be missed. We can always go for average-priced gaming headsets and never regret our decision. That is also the reason why we use wired headphones. If the budget is low, some manufacturers design their headsets with you in mind. It explains why it is possible to get a pair for less than $20. You can always leave if you don't use the headphones often. It works well with basic functions, which has proven to be enough for some people. It may be suicidal to settle for such headphones if you enjoy long gaming. Their material is plastic, which makes them uncomfortable and not healthy to wear for long hours. It would hurt your head and ears, which isn't worth it at the end of the day. It is unfortunate that they will damage your ears. We used 4 hours a day and it worked well, we recommend you to try it. When buying gaming headsets, price is not the only thing that matters. Some manufacturers will only give you mediocre results if you spend a lot of money on the product. Some aren't too expensive and give the buyer an amazing gaming experience. We found a great headset. It is one of the best headsets for $50. It has features that every game player is looking for, and it has a fair price. Don't compromise on quality when buying headphones. We don't need to break the bank to get a high-quality set.
