👤I like to cook, so I'm looking for a pan that conducts heat evenly throughout the pan and is large enough. I have always used the middle of the pan as the sides are not directly under the fire. A friend of mine suggested I use a stone frying pan. Frying Pan. It solved my issue, but it is also non stick and looks different than the regular teflon pans. Since I am not leaving my house due to the Covid 19 I have used it multiple times a day. I succeeded whether it was for baking bread or cooking fish or meats. There are no under-cooked sides anymore. Cleaning is easy. I poured water and soap and was done. Nothing has stuck to the pan.
👤I've been using this pan for a while. I am glad I bought it. I haven't used my cast iron since I got this frying pan. Highly recommended. Since January 2020 it is no longer a stick. I noticed a month ago that the pan was no longer being used. I'm not sure if it went into my food. I only use bamboo or wood utensils. I know I didn't scrap off the non stick. I loved it for about 6 months. I'm looking for a new pan.
👤We had this pan for 32 days and it was really nice until the little chunk of the pan coating started peeling. Disappointed in the quality. It was always handwashed.
👤I have been looking for a non stick pan that doesn't start to oxidize in a short time. I read mostly positive reviews after seeing this one. The costume began to fall off after a couple months. $33 for a pan is a lot of money. Don't waste yours.
👤The color is pretty. It's easy to clean. I have used this many times. I definitely recommend this.
👤I like the pan. The handle is easy to hold. I have used it to cook other things and it is non-stick. I have asked my husband not to use metal, but he does. This misuse is being held up by it. My pan says "Made in China". I bought "Made in Germany" because they don't make the pan, even though the Germans in Solingen designed it. We have birds in the house and always worry about what might hurt them, so I like that it is APEO and PFOA-Free. The pan is a good one, but not made in Germany.
👤There were no scratches. No butter or oils. Nothing sticks. I haven't washed my hands above medium heat or with detergent and soft surface. The lack of anything sticking to it makes me care for it exactly as I want it to be.
👤There is an update. The company apologized and sent me a new pan. I've only had it for a few days, but it's been great. I was impressed by the level of costumer service. I hope that I will have better luck with the pan. I liked this pan at first. It was easy to clean. The coating began to oxidize after a few months. The bottom of the pan has a rough texture. I took good care of it. I never used it on high heat and only washed it with non-abrasive cleaners. I have to throw it out after only 5 months.
TITANIUM NONSTICK INTERIOR: It's designed for everyday chefs who want to create delicious meals like a pro. THERMO-SPOT TECHNOLOGY The unique heat indicator turns red when pans are preheated to cook. The industrial base is tacky. No hot spots for reliable cooking results when heat is distributed evenly. The Venetian hands arerived and provide a comfortable and secure grip. The dishwasher and oven are safe at up to 400F. All cook tops are compatible.
👤This is an honest review from a professional chef who has used this product in their home kitchen almost every day for a year. I did not get paid to write this review. I bought this pan for home use. I don't use small frying pans, so the 12.5'' was an easy choice. I was initially curious about the pan's shape and whether it would distribute oil evenly. The sides of the pan appeared to be slanted high enough to sautee without the use of a turner/spatula. The riveting appeared to be sturdy and the handle felt comfortable in my hand. The pan's weight and balance did not feel awkward. The pan is more evenly brown than any pan I've used. The pan's ability to cook eggs is better than any other pan I've used. I can sautee without using utensils. The pan is easy to clean. I don't allow the pan to cool completely before washing it. I don't use metal utensils in this pan. Minor scratches have been accrued. The surface is slightly less non-stick after a year. It is not recommended to use metal utensils. It is not known if the coating is being removed during cooking or non-abrasive washings. I hope it's the latter. The pan does not have the rivets flush with it. Food debris collects around the rivets. The construction of the handle has not shown signs of wear. The pan is fastened with rivets. The pan's ability to heat and cool quickly is very good. T-Fal claims that. T-fal's heat indicator shows when the pan is ready to cook. 2. The Prometal Pro interior is scratch resistant. 3. It is safe for use with metal utensils. There is aFALSE for 4. A disc for distribution of heat. 5. There is anti-warp protection. 6. There is a dishwasher safe. The oven is safe to 400 degrees F. It's safe for all cooking methods. I don't think using a metal turner is a good idea. The two most important claims that T-Fal makes are false. I don't consider this pan to be a professional product. An alternative coating would not increase production costs and would eliminate the issue altogether. I recommend this product only for home use. The fact that advanced material science is not being used to create a superior consumer product is what makes my 4 star review so generous.
👤Very disappointed. I bought this for my spouse to use. The pan performed well for 10 months, but then she noticed that the surface was peeling. This pan was babied because we have all plastic cooking utensils. "No problem!" I told her that the pan has a warranty. The warranty phone number leads to automated responses and no return authorization. The instructions to return are to ship at your own cost and hope for the best. Many people who paid for shipping and never heard back are the subject of horror stories onwarranty review websites. Good money should not be thrown after bad money. Paying 50% of the cost to ship something in hopes that it will get a repair is a terrible deal. No doubt, by design.
It's compatible with most stovetops. The non-stick scrubber is called a "ultra non-STICK COATING SCRATCH RESISTANT". The ceramic and titanium interior of the copper pans is scratch resistant and non-stick. Everything slides off the surface for optimal cooking. It's ideal for use over low to medium heat with minimum oil or butter. There is a small flying pan for multi-purpose use. The 8 inch small frying pan can be used for frying an egg, steak, omelettes, and sauteing vegetables. PFOA is lead-free. The frying pan with lid is made of professional grade aluminum alloy that conducts heat quickly and evenly with precise temperature control and no hot spot. Food is quickly spread across the surface of the skillet and slips onto the plate once ready. No peeling or chipping. ERGONOMIC STAINLESS STEEL. The Michelangelo non stick omelet pan has a long handle that makes it easy to maneuver, and it stays cool when cooking. The 8 inch frying pan is ideal for cooking. The oven is safe up to 450F and the handle can resist high temperature cooking. The heat resistant glass lid of the frying pan makes it easy to view food from start to finish. It makes a food taste better.
👤It was bought two months ago and washed by hand all the time. The surface is hard to clean. This product is not good. I'm going to return the product to the seller.
👤Don't buy this product. Everything gets stuck to it.
👤I love the pan. I used a little butter but it was a non stick coating. The omelet was cooked perfectly, the lid fit like a glove. The pan is light and not heavy. Well worth the price and some. If I follow the instructions for med/high heat and take good care of this pan. This pan will last a long time. It's what I was looking for. Thank you Michelangelo, for creating a nice pan.
👤This pan is terrible. I have used this a few times and it burns.
👤I returned the pan because I didn't like it. It was bought for scrambled eggs. Had to use a lot of oil to avoid sticking.
👤It was a great pan for a while. It's no longer non-stick.
👤The best I have seen and used, but you must not put it on any higher than medicine. I don't know if it's necessary, but it works so well, it's worth the extra minutes it takes to heat. I loved sliding my egg out. I assume it is scratch resistant since it is so easy to clean. Every penny is worth it!
👤The pan is made of wood. The handle gets hot if you cook with it. The non stick surface is not good. If you add oil of any kind to make up for the poor non-stick, it sticks because the oil bonds to the non stick.
👤This is an excellent buy. Foods are easier to cook in than other pans. It is easy to clean. It's an essential for your kitchen.
👤The smaller version is superb. This is the last one in my set. I wouldn't buy another one.
👤I would not have bought this pan if I had seen it in a store. The pan works well, it comes with a lid, and you don't have to purchase one separately, so it's always a win when you don't have to purchase one separately. The non stick coating seems to work well on first use. I was not happy with the construction. It's my fault that I didn't understand that it was a ceramic pan coated with a finish that looks like copper but only in pictures because there is no way you would mistake it in real life. The rivet construction that you just know is going to give with time is the type of handle that is sturdy now. I needed a small pan so I bought the pan with the name Michelangelo in mind. I feel like the pan should be priced down for what it is and that I will probably replace it sooner than later.
👤I was going to buy this beautiful frying pan during covid. It was a waste of money. It is warped in the middle and doesn't lie flat. I didn't put it in the water when it was hot. It is not functional. It sticks. Don't spend your money.
Before they leave the factory, the Eslit Life frying pan with lid has passed all the quality tests. If you have any questions about this frying pan, please contact the service team at Eslight Life. The best non-kstic. The New Teflon Select - Color Collection is coated with the finest cookware. A good innovation is a pan that makes fluffy Italian frittatas or perfect omelets. The STAINLESS STEEL HANDLES are double-riveted for strength and durability. The handles on the stove are brushed. The oven and dishwasher are dishwasher safe and the pan is oven safe up to 450F. It is made in Korea and delivers outstanding performance and exceptional quality.
👤The quality of this pan is very good. It has a beautiful finish and sturdy handles. The thick handles have a nice feel to them. The finish on the inside and the out allow for easy clean up, and the egg slips right off. The cover for the smaller handle that is used to flip the omelette does a great job. My older ones had plastic like handles and the smaller one would heat up, so this was a great fix. The quality of the pan is better than I have ever seen, I have purchased a couple different omelette pans like this over the years and they are much better. It is nice to buy a product that is better quality than one that was manufactured in the 70's or 80's, but still costs the same. Love it.
👤I took the omelet pan for the first time to see how it would work on my stove top, and I liked it. The instructions were good because I used a medium heat. The eggs were cooked evenly throughout the first step of dual side cooking. I put some Mexican cheese on one side and some spinach on the other side. I turned off the burner and let the pan sit on it. After 2 minutes, I opened the pan to get some food. Viola! It was great because I was hungry after my workout. I can't wait to use it again. There is one word of caution. The pan is large. I made a 3 egg version of the pan and it worked. 2 might not be enough as the sides are thin. If you like the same ingredients, I suggest sharing a 4 egg version with a loved one and watching them smile.
👤This pan is top notch quality, you can't get better and is well packed in the box inside the Amazon box. I was happy that it arrived two days ahead of the delivery date. If your burner is larger than the pan, you can get hot with one of the small heat proof gadgets that it has. I had read not to cook on high. I made an omelette and put it on the stove. The top of the omelette was still soft. I don't have to tell you what happened when I flipped it. The second attempt set worked perfectly. Everyone's stove is different, but I would start out low. I searched for a long time for the right omelette pan as my old one had a Teflon lining and had scratched a lot, but they are not as good as this one. You get what you pay for. I plan to make a Frittata because the pan is larger than my old one and will be the perfect size for me. I know that reviews can be helpful when doing my search, so I have given this honest with that in mind, I hope it helps. This is a gem and you can't go wrong with it.
All cook tops are compatible. Heavy-duty hard-anodized construction promotes balanced, efficient heating. The Anolon SureGrip handle is dual riveted for strength and has a comfortable grasp. The skillet is safe to cook in the oven. The other great cookware from the Anolon Advanced collection is complemented by this gourmet-quality French skillet. There is a lifetime warranty. There is a package labeled as 8 but it is only 8.5.
👤I moved to the USA recently and I was pleased to find Anlon is so much less expensive than in Canada. It would retail for $150 or more in Australia. I liked this pan. I had this pan in Australia and it was my favorite pan. Nice and big with high sides. I was happy to find it on Amazon. I was happy but my pan warped under the heat. I used the old Anlon one for every type of dish, including stir fry veg and seared salmon steaks. I used the new pan on a standard ceramic cook top, but it didn't work well, you couldn't sear fish or brown meat in it. What a joke! The sub standard material used will not satisfy a true chef or good cook. The pan is very nice and non stick but the warping makes it useless and inappropriate for anyone who wants to cook properly. I have been a huge fan of my previous Anlon pans. I brought a set for some of my friends at the wedding. I purchased one on Amazon and it was not as bad as the ones they received. I thought it was a fake product, but Anlon replaced it for me under warranty, and the new one did the same thing as the old one, just on the stove medium heat setting. It was very disappointing.
👤My husband has a problem with his frying pans. He is very rough on them. We go through a lot of pans. I bought these in February and they are still good. I read somewhere that if you want to use detergent on good fry pans, just wash in plain water or wipe clean. That seems to work. It helps keep the non-stick.
👤Trying to make sense of the measurements the manufacturers give is probably the biggest problem I had when trying to figure out what size pan I needed. Is it 10? Is it 12? Is it 14? What does that mean? Did they measure across the surface of the pan or across the top from edge to edge? I was confused. I'm going to tell you about this pan and what I found. The pan's cooking surface is 12 inches across. It is 14" from edge to edge. The measurement comes from the top of the pan being larger than the base. I double or triple every recipe I make and this pan is large enough to accommodate it. I found it very manageable for a pan of this size. Some pans are so heavy that they are hard to use. This one is not. I like that. The clean up is even better. This pan is amazing. When baked on, messes come off with a wet cloth. Some things can be wiped off with a paper towel. I've used this pan hundreds of times and I can't imagine having to soak it. It is easy to clean. This PAN is huge. It's a love/hate relationship. I love it because it's big, but it's been a problem to store. It's too big for any cupboard I have. I was trying to find a pan with a long handle. The pan won't fit anywhere because it has a long handle. I think it helps while cooking, but sometimes I wish it wasn't there. I keep it on the stove because it's the only place it can fit. I have been using this pan for almost a year and it looks as good as it did when I bought it. It's a good idea to wipe grease off the pan before you use it again. If you don't do this, the outside is vulnerable to staining. It says it's dishwasher safe, but once you put your pots and pans in the dishwasher, they never look the same. If you want to keep this pan looking nice, do not put it in the dishwasher. The pan didn't come with a lid, that's my only regret. I was not sure what size lid would fit it since I was confused about size. I ordered a 14" lid and it fit perfectly. I had the same question, so I hope this review helps. The cooking capacity and ease of cleaning outweigh any problems I may have with storing this pan. It's a wonderful pan. Before I spend my hard earned money, I depend on the reviews of others. Hope this helps!

👤I have had an 8” pan for 2 years. After learning a few tricks, it is awesome. It was completely non-stick in the beginning, but lost some of its ability over time until it became a PITA. I looked closer and could see that there was a burnt substance on the pan, so I decided to scrub it off, but I would ruin a pan that wasn't working anyway. I covered the spong with a clean one and then polished it clean, it was surprisingly easy. I cracked a couple eggs into the pan, with very little coconut oil, and I was surprised it worked as well as it did when it was new! No sticking at all! After many mistakes where the pan has been over heated, used with olive oil, food burnt black, and other abuses, all it takes is a quick scrub and polish with "Bar Keepers" and my favorite pan of all time looks and works like new again. I use coconut spray as my standard oil, I use silicone utensils and avoid metal, but I do often use olive oil and too much heat, which causes a sticking pan until it has been polished up again. My wife wouldn't let me use her pans, and I used to go through non-stick pans every few months. I think the GreenPan has many years of service left in it.
👤I was so tired of cooking eggs that I stopped. I used one at my sister's house. It's perfect! There was no egg residual at all. There is a wet paper towel. The larger size will be 888-739-5110 When it worked, this pan was great. But now it's a DUD! Everything sticks. Eggs stick horrible now that wipes are no longer clean. I followed the factory instructions for cleaning and protecting. It was used daily for 2 months before it pooped.
👤I haven't used the pan yet, so I should wait to write the review. They don't tell you all the facts in the description, that's why I'm so angry. When you get the pan, it says you should only cook on low-medium heat and not use extra virgin olive oil. Sometimes I cook on high heat and use that type of oil because it is suppose to be better for you. I'm giving this pan a terrible rating because they lied in the description. I'll revise this review if I find it works well after I use it.
👤I wanted to like this pan. I like the idea that there is no coating to mess with in food. The first few times I used it, I loved it, but after that everything sticks to it. Everything sticks like glue, no matter how much I clean it, how much oil I use, or what temperature I use. I have to soak the food off of the pan when I saute it because the seasoning I put on it forms a coating on the pan. I threw out fried potatoes I tried to make today because they became too hot. I don't like this pan. It's going to the trash.
It's compatible with most stovetops. Versatility in the kitchen requires an oven safe. The dual layer is non-stick for easy food release. The aluminum construction is durable. Cast stay cool. The oven is safe up to 450oF. The lifetime warranty is full.
👤My son-in-law is the reason I'm buying these pans. He ruined my pans by not following instructions. These are the rules for any non-stick pan that you want to keep non-stick. There was no high heat. The pans work well at both low and medium. The metal will warp and the non-stick coating will be damaged if these pans are pre-heated. Hand wash only! Automatic dishwasher detergents can ruin non-stick coating and damage certain metals. No spraying! The non-stick coating will be damaged by things like Pam. There are four There is no cold water on a hot pan. Who does that? I've seen him take a hot pan and run the cold water from the faucet on it. Really? I'm pretty sure he does that to get the grease out of the pan. Doing so will warp the metal and ruin the non-stick coating. No metal clasps! Again, who does that? I've seen a lot of things on my pans. Don't do that. Calphalon brand pans are some of the best on the market and will last years if they are treated with care and respect. I own a full set of Calphalon pots and pans. I have full confidence that everything I cook in them will turn out great, and I am very pleased with them. It was a good purchase. Five stars.
👤The pan was faulty just received. The pan cannot be lay flat on the stove because the handle is positioned lower than the pan bottom. I'm returning set.
👤If you're going to use hard anodized skillets, this skillet looks wonderful. I have not been able to use mine. I've washed it by hand 4 times already, once with a nylon scrubbie sponge, and once with a towel. I assume this black stuff is going to ruin the food I cook in this pan so I haven't used it yet. Is there anyone else who has experienced the same? The manufacturer should help me out here. What is this black stuff? I have attached a picture of what is coming off the pan. It shows what I see when I rub the pan dry with my fingers. There is an update. Calphalon was more than helpful and sent me a replacement pan after I contacted them directly. I experienced the same problem with the new pan, so my review must remain the same. That's enough for me. I don't have the time or energy to deal with this further, so I'm out of the original cost as well. Does anyone know if the pans would be recycled? I don't know how to dispose of the one I have. There is a One more thing... The "black stuff" is not known. I've never put this pan in the dishwasher, but Calphalon said it was perhaps something from my dishwasher, but I was unable to identify it. shrugs>
👤Many of the reviews of this pan seem to be for a set or other product. I would prefer reviews that are specific to the item. Calphalon has been used by me for over 20 years. The price point of this pan was too low for a high quality Calphalon pan. I don't know if this is a lower quality line or the pan is malfunctioning. The pan does not evenly heat up. One half of bacon is barely cooked. I have to move the food around in the pan to keep it from burning. It is easy to clean up. I gave it 2 stars because of that. I don't know how it holds up in the dishwasher because I never put cookware in it. I am not happy with this pan. It has damaged my trust in Calphalon.
The Y shaped handles let the heat escape and keep the handles cool to the touch. The 3004 heavy-gauge aluminum is certified by the National Sanitation Foundation. A dishwasher-safe, high-performance reinforced PFOA-free. Works with gas, electric and ceramic glass. Tramontina item # 80114/534DS. Made in the USA with imported components.
👤Tramontina does not respond to any requests for warranty support despite their claim of a lifetime warranty. I suffered from a warped pan bottom despite the extreme care I took to avoid rapid heating or cooling. After a few months, this is normal household use. Despite multiple attempts, they have failed to respond to what I feel is a manufacturing flaw. If you have a gas stove, your grate will hold the pan regardless of its warp. If you have a glass-top or flat stove, I suggest you look at another product.
👤The coating on the pan began to peel from the rim about 2 years ago. We only use this pan for pancakes and rarely use a spatula. I asked Tramontina how to claim the lifetime warranty. They asked to see photos of the pan that I had already included, but I sent more. They said it was worn and tear and offered to sell a new pan for 15 dollars off their website. Even with a coupon, it still costs more to order directly from their website than it does from their Amazon listing. I asked if they'd offer me a coupon for a discount on their pan from their store since it made no sense, but they never responded. Why would they give me a discount if it's wear and tear? They know that it's not a problem and that their "lifetime warranty" doesn't mean anything because you can't do anything about it. Why do you say you have a lifetime warranty when you never honor it? You can find similar stories through the reviews here. Customer care from Tramontina was poor.
👤My son gave me two small Tramontina skillets for frying eggs. I couldn't believe their quality when I received them. They are professional quality skillets. The eggs are easy to flip with a slight jerk because of the butter. They use a little detergent and wipes to clean up. The melted cheese from grilled cheese sandwiches comes right off. The pans were packaged in a way that was impressive with a combination of cardboard and bubble wrap. The pan is the same as before but bigger. It is a pleasure to use. All three of these pans are the best I have ever owned. The cheap, waste of money green pans advertised on TV are included. There was no comparison. It's better than all of these. My wife uses this pan to cook ground beef. It does a great job. It is very easy to clean up. I bought this because other pans have been difficult to clean. The price is reasonable. I wash them by hand. The skillet is holding up well. I made a big omelet to split between my wife and I. The cheese was crisped up on the bottom of the pan. I might have a hard time cleaning, but no! I put the pan in the water and let it soak for five minutes. I was able to wipe the pan clean with a sponge wand. A quick rinse after that. No problem. It was very easy to clean up with a conventional skillet. My wife fried up some cube steak for our dog. We have a hard time getting food into him because he is spoiled. Anyway. Look at the before and after picture. I used hot tap water and a sponge wand to clean this pan. It was easy and quick to clean up. Love it. We've been using this skillet daily for over a year and the coating is starting to oxidize. I've never used plastic spatulas lightly. I washed it by hand with a sponge wand. I don't know if I should be thankful it lasted this long or not. I will miss my kitchen buddy.

👤They say no harmful things, but if you look at the trade name for PTFE, it's another one. "We discovered that many of the trade names for PTFE are actually ceramic coating names."
👤The skillets and sauce pans perform as advertised. I followed the instructions with a little oil or butter in the pan as it warmed up. The fried egg slides around easily in the video I posted. I hand wash them. I bought them in different sizes. They look great in my kitchen. I need a skillet larger than the largest offered and also sauce pans larger than 1 quart. I had to keep my teflon pan for big jobs. ;(
👤I bought this and a pot. I think it's great. Eggs and other foods can be eaten with a non stick. It is easy to clean by hand. Don't use a non stick pan with high heat. Use cast iron for high heat. On low to medium heat, use these. Don't put non stick pans in the dishwasher, hand wash them and they will last longer and stay in great condition.
👤When I cleaned it, black dust came off from the bottom and the inside of the pan. It's probably toxic and disgusting.
👤I bought an 11" one. Everything you could ask for is non-stick. This one is very different from my previous one. Things stick even with a lot of oil. I have to scratch them with a spatula. The pan makes a cracking sound when it is heating on low/medium heat, which is scary, and my guess is that the heat distribution is not evenly. I've never heard that from a cold pan. The noise continues. I don't know what's wrong with this item, but it shouldn't have a quality check, so I don't know if they'd accept a return. I don't recommend this product because it has a cracking sound.
👤I needed to replace a pan. I was checking out the new pans. The perfect size for eggs and omelets was this one. I am glad I pulled the gun because I went ahead and did it. I always use butter to grease the pan when making eggs/omelets. I would get spots with the old Teflon pan. That is not the case with this pan. Nothing sticks to it. It's very easy to flip your eggs. The pan is good. I highly recommend this pan if you are looking for a small frying pan.
👤I have had it for two months and it is still in excellent condition. I have never had a pan like this before. My electric stove top only goes up to about 250 F degrees, but this temp kills all other frying pans, not this one it is still granite and the is not even discolored yet. There was an update on 7/12/18. The granite coating is still perfect despite the fact that it has a lot of oil and cooking residuals. I have never had a better frying pan.
👤The Carote pans are the best I have ever had. They are easy to clean and cook in. They wipe out. I would recommend them to others. I love them. My first purchase was a set. I bought more sizes because I loved them so much. These are for my camper. We are also using them in our home.
It's compatible with most stovetops. Hard Anodized is more resistant to wear and is harder than steel. The interior of theQuantanium is reinforced with titanium and has a healthy cooking option. Cool grip handles are made of solid steel and are riveted to the stove top to keep it cool. The oven is safe to 500 degrees F. There is a limited lifetime warranty.
👤I had a replacement pan for at least 5 years. The teflon coating was bad. The pan appeared to be in perfect condition. I washed it and cooked on it. The bottom of the pan surprised me when it dried. It was not easy. I washed it again and it is the same. I would return the packaging if I threw it away. Maybe I got a problem. I don't trust what it's made out of so I'm afraid to use it.
👤I came back to this pen knowing that the chemicals were questionable after trying many alternatives. It has been a few months, mostly make morning eggs in it, never put it beyond a medium spray of olive oil, and cleaning is easy. On the first day, it worked well. There is no nonstick that is going to last forever, but this one is already doing much better than previous ceramic or greener coating out there, and the German company that didn't make it to six months didn't even make it to the end of the year. This is a hand wash only product. I concluded that it was safe if it doesn't get to high temperatures, but still slick and slippery.
👤I love this pan. I had my first one for a long time. This pan does wear out after a lot of use, but it lasts for years before I was no longer happy with the cooking surface. The perfect size for cooking 2 eggs over easy is also a good size to saute up veggies for 1, toast nuts, or cook other small quantities. It's a great size to add to your collection.
👤I love it! I have an old appliance that has been scratched. The old pan was hard to clean. The model is easy to clean, but it is a bit difficult to clean the rivets. It is noticeably heavier than my old one. I've learned how to take care of heat distribution, no heat, don't clean til cool, no metal, and rub on oil when new.
👤The pan is used for breakfast and lunch almost every day. It has excellent balance, never sticks to anything, and wipes clean with a paper towel. The flared sides allow for easy access to the omelets, sautés or grilled cheeses. We use the big brother for almost anything we need for larger meals. Unless you use metal utensils, the coating is very tough.
👤We bought several sizes of the cookware. They all work well, are easy to clean, cook well and hold up to use. We will use the skillets to see if they are really 5 stars. These skillets are recommended by us.
👤There are no negatives to this huge, fabulously. The pan is deep. I can't believe how much it holds. The pan has the amount in cups and litres on it. It's easy to clean and will go into the oven without a lid. There is a lid up to 350F. They recommend metal tools. Don't use a habd mixer, whisk, or knife on it. The two handles make transferring a heavy filled pot easy. I'm buying my children a Christmas present. What a great deal!

The German engineered coating uses less oil and is PFOA free. The handles are comfortable. The oven is safe up to 220C. The edges are rolled for pouring. It's compatible with most stovetops.
👤I bought this pan for the first time a year ago. The quality of the pan is very good since we don't handle it with extra care. The base is not wide enough so it is not stable. I bought this pan again because it is my husband's favorite pan. This time a pan white a wider base, and it doesn't wobble on the range. I bought another one because I was so happy that OXO fixed the design problem, and I thought the older model was a fire hazard. I sent the smaller base pan back because it came again. There is a model number at the bottom of the pan that I noticed was different. The older model had 4198 and the improved model had 6198. The base is about half a inch wider. If the pan doesn't jiggle on your range, it's a solid pan that will last. I would love to buy another pan from the wider model.
👤I have never owned a non-stick pot or pan because of all the warnings. Some of the recipes I want to make indicate using a non-stick pan. I have a pan that is good for making a couple eggs but can't handle anything else. I have a pan too, but it's often too big. I got this one because I needed an inbetween. It is not stick. It is really nice. I am following the recommendations on the little paper that came with it and I hope it will be nice to me for a long time. I don't want to get any other non-stick pots or pans, but this one is a good one. The burner grill can be tipped off when empty since the handle weighs more than the pan, but other than that it seems perfect. Oxo, fix the handle. It would be a perfect pan for just basic home cooks if you put a hollow core handle on it. I have been using this for a month or so and have found the tip factor horrible, and am now looking for another non-stick pan. I don't need hot juices or oils to be spilled all over the place and there is a chance of fire. The pan is unacceptable because they didn't balance the handle with the rest of the pan.
👤I read reviews that said the pan tipping problem had been fixed, and that the handle was too heavy. I contacted the seller of the smaller pan because I wanted the other pans in the line. The seller opened the packaging on the pan to see if it tipped. I placed the order since the report said the pan does not tip. The pan is good. I live alone, so cooking up an egg or two, or whipping up a bit of stir-fry is just right in this pan. Just wipe it out. It doesn't stick to cheese. The seller and the pan are excellent.
👤The skillet is not usable. The skillet requires heavy handling. When resting on the stove eye, be sure to give tips over. The center of gravity on the skillets is more balanced. The larger skillets will not have the same problem. The cooking surface on the 8 inch pan is more than 6 inches, enough for 1 egg, maybe 2. If you stick with the larger sizes, the pans are nice.
