Brand: Blue Diamond

👤10 days later, the sides are bending and scratches are visible. Poor quality product. It looks good, have to admit. How did it get such reviews?

👤Are they kidding? I got these pans on Christmas Day and they're chipping now. I used this pan twice with a plastic spatula and ran it through the dishwasher. There are chips inside the pan and the edges of the "diamond" coating are already peeling off. The entire pitch for Blue Diamond is nonsense. This should be illegal. Spread the word. Never again.

👤The reviews on the Blue and Swiss Diamond pans were terrible. They contain a substance that is not disclosed but is noted in the packaging. I unwrapped it for my daughter's XMAS gift. I bought a brand called Tutanium. My years of experience proved that T-fal is reliable. Blue Diamond's ads are deceiving to its customers. I will do that. The quality of T-Fal is poor, but it has a more bio friendly finish and I bought it for myself.

👤The product had food stuck to it. I have never seen a product like this before.

👤The first time I used it, something stuck to it. After extensive cleaning, things stayed the same places as the first time. Without a pot holder the handle gets hot. I wouldn't buy this product again.

👤The handle gets very hot.

👤If you don't grab for a mitt first you will be burned, the handle takes in all the heat. Learned this the hard way. I have never had a pan that did this before.

👤I didn't use it. It arrived scratched, after all the hype about how strong it was. I sent it back.

2. GreenLife Ceramic Non Stick Frypan Turquoise

Brand: Greenlife

👤The pans were too nasty to use in the VRBO we rented. I had to have something to cook dinner that day, so I went to WalMart and bought two frying pans for $29. We've used them for 6 weeks and love them. I own a lot of products. I know how to treat cookware because I worked at Williams-Sonoma. I can only assume that people who have had trouble unintentionally misuse these pans. If you add a little coconut oil to the pans, they will cook them to medium heat, which is plenty high to even sear foods in these pans. We let them cool off before cleaning. We only use a flexible spatula or tongs when moving food. We never put them on a burner bigger than the base of the pan, and always make sure it stays centered on the heat source. We only use a soft sponge or Dobie with the lightest bit of detergent, and dry it with a soft towel. They look brand new and perform to the highest standards. I will replace all of my non-stick cookware with GreenLife Ceramics when I get home and test them on my gas burners. That's the only thing missing that explains why other users have trouble if they're doing everything else right. If it works out, anyone want my scratched up Calphalon for their workshop? I let my son have the first set, and I bought another set for myself and a fry pan. The flat area of bottoms has been affected by the gas burners. It's not noticeable since they're wonderful to cook with.

👤I will be updating this review for the last time. These pans are not sanitary. They start off great, but after you cook some meat in them, they go downhill. You have to remove the grease from the pans even on medium heat because the grease from the meat will stick to the pans. The ceramic material is so weak that it chips off around the edges. Unless you want to cook light foods like eggs or veggies, do not buy these.

👤These pans are really good. They only last a year before needing to be replaced, but I'm okay with that. They need to bebabied or they will not last at all: wooden or silicone spoons, hand-washed with a non-abrasive sponge. The bottoms get ugly and scratched very quickly. There is an update! This time, they were out on me in four months. Wow. The bottoms became stained with burn marks after everything started sticking. We cared for these more carefully than our first set. It's not cool!

👤I studied up on non stick pans. I decided against hard anodized and teflon based. After a year of constant use, my 10" pan had lost it's muchness and I wanted to replace it. Face it. They all become useless. So far they are doing well. The 7" pan is all I use. It's perfect for a three egg over pan. The pans in the pictures show that they had been overheated. Don't cook without an oil. Olive oil is better for you than butter. Or Canola or others. I am happy that I got this set.

3. OXO Grips Non Stick Dishwasher Frypan

OXO Grips Non Stick Dishwasher Frypan

Frypan is oven safe to 400 degrees F and has a sturdy, dual-rivetedstainless steel handle. The highest rated skillet is from Cook's Illustrated. Excellent heat conduction and scratch resistance can be found in the hard senna body. The German engineered coating uses less oil and is PFOA free. The handles are comfortable. The oven is safe up to 220C. The edges are rolled for pouring. It's compatible with most stovetops.

Brand: Oxo

👤The pan performs well, however the non-stick surface is peeling off after less than a year of use. We were expecting better.

👤The first pan was scratched to the heavens the first night it arrived. We used it to heat a couple corn tortillas and just put them in the pan on one side and flip the other side for about 30 seconds. When we removed the tortillas low, there were scratches all over the surface. We waited for the pan to cool to room temp and then washed it with a non-abrasive sponge, but to our disappointment the scratches were still there. After one use, it's definitely not a nice sight, and we paid over fifty dollars for this pan. We returned this because we think we did nothing wrong. We did not use a utensil and flipped them by hand. The return was accepted. We replaced the same pan thinking it was a mistake. Maybe something was wrong with that pan. We used the replacement to cook eggs and other things. We used it to cook pupusas over the weekend. Soft masa dough is used to make pupusas. We heat a little oil in the pan and cook them on each side until they are crisp on the outside, but still nowhere near what you would think it would take to cook a pan. It's unbelievable. When we removed the food, it was covered in scratches. You could feel the ridge with your finger when you ran it over the scratch and the finish was already coming off in the middle. The pan was only heated to medium and never used on high heat. Medium did the job well and we found out that it can warp pans, so it wasn't needed. If it is too hot. This second pan is going to be sent back for a full refund. We will be taking our money elsewhere because we are disappointed in this OXO Pan. It's a shame because when the pan arrives it is so beautifully packaged and the shine and shimmer on that pan is so elegant, but how is this worth anything when you have to fear it scratching like this? If we were using metal utensils and trying to cook something rough, but never expected the turnout, I could understand. If you buy this pan, I hope this helps you. It's specific on what you can't cook in it.

👤If the finish hadn't degraded so quickly, this would be a five-star review. The exterior finish is great and the handle and weight are nice. The cooking surface is the only problem. We treat our skillets the same, no metal utensils, hand-wash only. The other brands have started peeling quicker than this one. We won't be buying another model of this one because it's time to replace it.

👤America's Test Kitchen said that this was the best one. The surface of the skillet looks like it has been in use for 5 years after only a few uses. That is not acceptable. That is not the best skillet. There is no way that can happen.

4. Farberware Kitchen Aluminum Nonstick 3 Piece

Farberware Kitchen Aluminum Nonstick 3 Piece

The set includes two frying pans. It is possible to keep meals lower in fat by using inside and outside nonstick. The skillets are designed to heat quickly and evenly, which helps diminish hot spots that can burn food. The handles are strong and comfortable to hold. The skillets are dishwasher and oven safe. Farberware is manufactured and sold under a license. The set includes skillets in 8-, 10-, and 11-inch sizes.

Brand: Farberware

👤One has to be aware of limitations for this kind of money. The 11" skillet I bought 5 weeks ago has warped to the point of being useless and I have used it only 7 or 8 times. If you put an egg on one side of the skillet, it will run to the other side. Same for pancake batter. This skillet is for people who like pancakes. I was very pleased with the box, but to only have 5 weeks of use before they warped is ridiculous.

👤The pans work. They are easy to clean up. They don't stick. A lot of complaints about these pans, but I'd be willing to bet that they are due to user error and not the pans themselves. Don't put them in the dishwasher if they are dishwasher safe. High pressure water jets can easily destroy the coating. They may be able to survive the heat, but can they survive the pressure? Don't use harsh detergents. Salt is a cheap thickening agent. I make dish soap for a living and it's not very nice. Salt can become corrosive when mixed with water. Don't use soaps as much as possible because there's a lot of nasty chemicals in them. If you need to use soap, use a drop on a soft sponge. I wipe mine clean and never have a problem. The next time you heat up your pan, you'll be killing anybacteria that may have grown on it. Make sure you season the pan. You don't need much if you have a little oil or fat. You can find this online. You won't need a ton of butter, fat, or oil to get things sliding around in the pan. I have no complaints about the pans so far. If they last more than 3 years, it's fantastic. I have my money's worth. If you're new to cooking or unsure of how to use pans correctly, look it up online. There's a lot of helpful information. Look up "use and care of non-stick cookware" and you will be fine.

👤It's not worth it no matter how cheap it is. These pans are the cheapest I have ever seen. The metal on the bottoms is so thin that it warps and doesn't hold heat. I bought these because I was too lazy and busy to go to a store where I could pick up a pan before buying it, but they are not even close to a good value. After the first use, the 11-inch went into the trash. There is a If you're considering buying this set of pans, then you should just buy a decent 10-inch non stick for the same price as this crappy 3-set.

👤We were going to buy some pans. Up to 200 dollars. I said what the budget brands have to offer. My parents bought me this brand when I was 21 years old for a wedding present. At 36 years old, I'm replacing them. Not saying that everyone should use a pan for safety reasons. Farberware has everything I need to replace my old stuff and they have a safe chemical-free rating. I thought I would give them another chance. I won't wait 15 years again but they work just fine. Non-stick surfaces should last you a long time if you don't use metal.

5. OXO Anodized PFOA Free Nonstick Skillet

OXO Anodized PFOA Free Nonstick Skillet

It's suitable for all stove tops, oven safe, dishwasher safe, pfoa, lead, and cadmium free. Excellent heat conduction and scratch resistance can be found in the hard senna body. The German engineered coating uses less oil and is PFOA free. Sturdy handle with stay cool, non slip silicone. The oven is safe up to 200C. It's compatible with most stovetops.

Brand: Oxo

👤It is a rare review from my side. I use OXO for years, a good brand for kitchen gadgets, so I tried the frying pan. The photos tell the whole story after 3 weeks of use. I only use wooden spoons and utensils if it says "scratch resistant". To make the long story short, stay away from this piece of junk. I have never peeling after 3 weeks using the cheapest Teflon pans. I will serve you well with Cuisinart. What a mistake. The photos were taken before the arrival of my new pan. The "German engineered" non-stick coating peeled off like it was new to me. German engineered it is not junk. If you decide to buy this frying pan and follow all the 5-star reviews, be aware that your next omelette will contain an additional German engineered non-stick coating. It's Bon Appetit!

👤I have used my pan for six months and have had great results. I decided to get another one after six months because it finally started sticking to the point. It won't last forever, just be aware.

👤America's Test Kitchen recommended these to me. I don't buy expensive non-stick fry-pans, you can spend $200 on a non-stick pan, but it won't last for ever, no matter how careful you are. A non-stick skillet can be had for 2 years. 2 of these were $40 and that is a very good deal. Since my husband cooks as well as I do, they don't get very careful handling at my house. Over the years, I had a lot of them. Some were better than others. I think the OXO skillets are one of my favorites. Eggs are non-stick and a dream. The non-stick coating on the grip makes it easy to wash. I bought a set for my son because I like them so much. I recommend them. The skillets are still performing great a year later.

👤Couldn't tell you how it was done. One was damaged. One side did not take a picture. This one was damaged after the replacement was received. I took pictures. Not sure who is to blame. There was no padding or anything in the box with the pan.

👤I received a nice note from Amazon apologizing for the issues and promising to resolve them. The pan is great, so I changed to 5 star. Make sure yours is undamaged. This is the best pan I've ever owned. When I tried to order another one, it was damaged. The next one was damaged when I returned it. I'm hoping the third time is the charm.

👤I have had a non-stick skillet for 3 months and it had 2 small places where the coating was coming off. I use cooking on the average of 2 - 3 times a week. I wash it. I will apply for a refund. Customer service answered my first email promptly. It went downhill from there. It took 26 days and 2 more emails to get a refund posted to my account. The purchase price of the skillet was stated in the warranty. There was no shipping cost for Prime members, but there was a sales tax. The shipping cost was $11.75. I paid $12.97 for this skillet. A good quality product can be costly, but this warranty is similar to many others.

6. All Clad E785S264 Anodized Nonstick Dishwasher

All Clad E785S264 Anodized Nonstick Dishwasher

The lifetime warranty is full. Heavy-gauge, hard-anodized cookware has 3 layers of safe, PFOA-free non-stick for long- lasting easy release. It is compatible with all cooktops, thanks to its anti-warp base and oven safe up to 500F. The handles are riveted to the steel. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the nonstick.

Brand: All-clad

👤This is the first review I've done for Amazon, even after hundreds of purchases, and it's the first one. The reason for this review is that I feel the handle is unsafe. The pan cooks really well. It has a lot of weight. The pan is heavy and it is difficult to keep balanced when lifting it off of a hot stove. The pan can twist if you don't have a firm grip. The edges of the handle make it hard to hold it tight. I love everything about this pan other than the handle. I felt the potential of danger and burning was worth writing a review on, even though other owners might disagree.

👤Don't buy this product. I got the 12 and 10 inch skillet. They work great on my range. But the handles. There is no words to describe how bad these handles are. Want to put the food in a container? Try to break your wrist. The design of your hand is stupid. Handling these pans is a nightmare because of the angle, shape and shape. I don't need a lot of money for 2 pans that I can't lift without teaching my kids new words. Stay away from this product while you shop.

👤These are amazing. It was worth every single penny. I was angry with the way eggs stuck to the pan. Even the non stick pans. I bought these after my eggs were ruined again. I had head of the brand before but didn't own anything and didn't care for the price, but I was desperate. These have changed my life. I like them. They are worth it.

👤It won't work on my GE range top. Very disappointed.

👤All Clad has a knock off of these pans. I used them for 6 months. The non stick surface is chipping off so I'm throwing in the scrap metal pile. Did you use the right utensil? You bet. Never used plastic tools. Always a spatula. I'm going for a walk.

👤I have bought these pans 4 times. The first time I tried them, the recipient couldn't stop talking. Wow! Keep reading, but it's amazing. Sometimes I have a lot going on at the same time, 2 sets would be better for me. I bought the 4th set after my son bought a house. I received a counterfeit set four times. They are not all-Clad. They didn't come in an All-Clad box, didn't have an extra handle on the pan, and have thick handles like most brands. The pans are not large on the bottom. They are lightweight and have sloping sides that are closer to the center than most pans. All-clad has straight sides that start at the edge and allow a larger cooking surface. Amazon was the seller of all 4 sets. If you get a set that doesn't come in an All-Clad box, and look exactly like the photos, send them back.

👤I have a lot of pans. Never a complaint until now. These do not have the flat bottoms that are claimed. The fat pools are at the edges. I like low fat cooking but can't do it in these. I will probably return them.

7. Calphalon Piece Classic Nonstick Grey

Calphalon Piece Classic Nonstick Grey

It's compatible with most stovetops. Versatility in the kitchen requires an oven safe. The dual layer is non-stick for easy food release. The aluminum construction is durable. Cast stay cool. The oven is safe up to 450oF. The lifetime warranty is full.

Brand: Calphalon

👤My son-in-law is the reason I'm buying these pans. He ruined my pans by not following instructions. These are the rules for any non-stick pan that you want to keep non-stick. There was no high heat. The pans work well at both low and medium. The metal will warp and the non-stick coating will be damaged if these pans are pre-heated. Hand wash only! Automatic dishwasher detergents can ruin non-stick coating and damage certain metals. No spraying! The non-stick coating will be damaged by things like Pam. There are four There is no cold water on a hot pan. Who does that? I've seen him take a hot pan and run the cold water from the faucet on it. Really? I'm pretty sure he does that to get the grease out of the pan. Doing so will warp the metal and ruin the non-stick coating. No metal clasps! Again, who does that? I've seen a lot of things on my pans. Don't do that. Calphalon brand pans are some of the best on the market and will last years if they are treated with care and respect. I own a full set of Calphalon pots and pans. I have full confidence that everything I cook in them will turn out great, and I am very pleased with them. It was a good purchase. Five stars.

👤The pan was faulty just received. The pan cannot be lay flat on the stove because the handle is positioned lower than the pan bottom. I'm returning set.

👤If you're going to use hard anodized skillets, this skillet looks wonderful. I have not been able to use mine. I've washed it by hand 4 times already, once with a nylon scrubbie sponge, and once with a towel. I assume this black stuff is going to ruin the food I cook in this pan so I haven't used it yet. Is there anyone else who has experienced the same? The manufacturer should help me out here. What is this black stuff? I have attached a picture of what is coming off the pan. It shows what I see when I rub the pan dry with my fingers. There is an update. Calphalon was more than helpful and sent me a replacement pan after I contacted them directly. I experienced the same problem with the new pan, so my review must remain the same. That's enough for me. I don't have the time or energy to deal with this further, so I'm out of the original cost as well. Does anyone know if the pans would be recycled? I don't know how to dispose of the one I have. There is a One more thing... The "black stuff" is not known. I've never put this pan in the dishwasher, but Calphalon said it was perhaps something from my dishwasher, but I was unable to identify it. shrugs>

👤Many of the reviews of this pan seem to be for a set or other product. I would prefer reviews that are specific to the item. Calphalon has been used by me for over 20 years. The price point of this pan was too low for a high quality Calphalon pan. I don't know if this is a lower quality line or the pan is malfunctioning. The pan does not evenly heat up. One half of bacon is barely cooked. I have to move the food around in the pan to keep it from burning. It is easy to clean up. I gave it 2 stars because of that. I don't know how it holds up in the dishwasher because I never put cookware in it. I am not happy with this pan. It has damaged my trust in Calphalon.

8. OXO Grips Non Stick Dishwasher Frypan

OXO Grips Non Stick Dishwasher Frypan

The dimensions are 5 x 3.1 x 5 inches. These pans are available in both round and square shapes and come in at a cute 12.5 centimeters. Excellent heat conduction and scratch resistance can be found in the hard senna body. The German engineered coating uses less oil and is PFOA free. The handles are comfortable. The oven is safe up to 220C. The edges are rolled for pouring. It's compatible with most stovetops.

Brand: Oxo

👤I know from experience that you have to replace your non-stick pans every few years because they lose their non-stick quality. You can either get the most expensive non-stick pans on the market or get a good value for your money. This is a good deal. You really need to use some kind of fat to make these pans non-stick. Butter and high smokepoint oil are good for that flavor, especially with eggs. After washing the pan with warm water, soap, and a sponge, I found no fat or egg on it. It was almost non-stick. Which is what I was expecting. If you want your pans to last, do not put them in the dishwasher, they're basically sandblasting, and wash with hot water. They contain a substance that can't be removed without damaging the cooking surface. You can make an omelet with a silicone spatula, but only use nylon or silicone utensils. If you stack them without some kind of protection on the cooking surface, you'll lose. I hang my pans on a pot rack. You should get at least a couple of good years use out of your pans if you follow these rules. Purchase new ones in a few years. If you want to cook on high heat, you should consider a cast iron pan. Don't torture your non-stick pans. They're not made for that.

👤The item was highly rated in a magazine. One of the great qualities of the review was the fact that the bonding of the surface to the base material wouldn't delaminate. It was wonderful to cook in it. We took good care of it, and never put it in high heat. There were bubbles on the cooking surface about a year later. The bubbles came off. It's no longer useful. We wrote to OXO to inquire about their 10-year warranty, but have not received a response. I will revise this review if we ever hear from them.

👤When I bought this pan, I knew it didn't have a lid. I didn't know that the standard 10" lid wouldn't fit the pan. I have a lid from a previous Frypan that has fit multiple pans. It does not fit the Oxo pan. When I searched for "lid", I saw complaints about the lids not fitting. Oxo, a major manufacturer, would not accept a standard lid for their pan. I didn't check that before buying. Don't make the same mistake.

👤There are holes in the coating after a year. The pan had grooves on it. Oxo customer support claimed that it was carbonization on the pan when I contacted them about the dimpling. I followed their instructions and it made it a bit better, but it still had a lot of carbonization. I contacted Oxo customer support about a month ago and noticed a hole in the coating. They said that it's not a hole but burnt oil. The hole in the photo is not burnt oil. I don't use metal utensils in the pan. I use a Matfer Pelton Spatula and a plastic spatula. Along with OXO tongs. We only use butter, olive oil, or avocab oil. We have never used spray oils, as they are bad for non-stick pans.

9. Calphalon 1948259 Signature Anodized Nonstick

Calphalon 1948259 Signature Anodized Nonstick

The dishwasher is safe for easy cleaning and the oven is safe to 350 degrees. The built to last is 1.5x more durable than the Calphalon Classic. Heavy-gauge, hard-anodized aluminum construction is used for cooking and performance. You can go from stovetop to the oven at 500 degrees F. The metal-utensil-safe has a durable, PFOA-free, 3-layer nonstick interior. The handles on the stove are made of steel. Good Housekeeping named Nonstick Cookware the best overall.

Brand: Calphalon

👤I did a lot of research before buying the entire set of Calphalon Signature Cookware. It's not the cheapest product, but I was confident in the Calphalon brand and lifetime warranty. The issue is the frypan. We know how to use high quality cookware and take care of it, because we are long time home cooks. We used the 10 inch frypan the most often. The non-stick coating was failing after nine months of use. It did not provide a non-stick surface anymore. The egg would stick to the pan surface if it was fried with butter. I filed a claim for failure of the pan on Calphalon's website since there was a lifetime warranty. After inspection by Calphalon, either the original pan would be returned or a new one would be shipped. I shipped the pan back over three months ago, but never heard from Calphalon. The same response is given when an email questions the resolution of my claim. I can't get a response from Calphalon because I no longer have my fry pan, and I'm out of pocket on the return shipping. We have been without a fry pan for over three months and have bought a different brand, but have been very pleased with how it is performing. Don't waste your time and money returning a problem to Calphalon if you ever have one, just be aware, if you ever have a problem, don't waste your time and money. You will get the same result if you throw it in a black hole. Better yet, buy a different brand.

👤I only had this for a few weeks. Over the years, my experience with Calphalon has been excellent. I have a Unison slide 8 pan which is about 8 or 9 years old and still cooks great, but it is beginning to lose bits of itself into the food as non-stick does over time. My new signature pan has four deep scratches on the non-stick surface. This thing is supposed to accept metal utensils, but we only make eggs in it. I don't expect miracles, but I don't brutalize my non-stick equipment. I don't know if this was a kid of quality foul up or not. The egg pan will see a lot more use than the 10. One star supposedly means I don't like it, but I am just disappointed. I was going to buy the deep saute pan from this line, but now I don't think I can trust it.

👤This pan is sturdy and has great properties. But... This pan is not a true 12-inch pan. The inner diameter of some of my current 10-inch pans is only about 8.5 inches, which is what the outer diameter is. The pan's lips are very straight to make it look like a 12-inch. If I order a 12-inch pan, my expectation is that it should have an inner diameter of at least 10 inches, which would allow me to cook a lot of food in it. You should get a 10-inch one with a similar cooking diameter. If you don't mind the cooking area of the pan, I'd recommend a cheaper hard anodized non-stick that can do the job just as well. The price doesn't match up to the quality.

10. All Clad Dishwasher Stainless Cookware Silver

All Clad Dishwasher Stainless Cookware Silver

It is suitable for all stovetops. A kitchen staple with a flat base and flared sides that allow for easy flipping and tossing. The tri-ply construction is made with a responsive aluminum core and 2 layers of durable, stainless steel all the way around for fast, even heat distribution. To ensure a safe grip and to add a bit of style, the handles are riveted. It's compatible with all of the cooktops, including oven and broiler-safe up to 600F. A 10-inch covered fry pan with a wide flat base is versatile. The 3-ply bonded construction has an aluminum core that can be even heated. The cooking surface with a starburst finish is highly polished and won't react with food.

Brand: All-clad

👤I don't think this pan needs any more hype. All clad is top rated amongst brands on the BIFL threads. I watched some videos on the water bead/murcury test, where you heat up the pan dry and wait until water makes a bead to add your oil and good, but I don't like cooking. It worked when I tried it with my eggs. Zero sticking! It was really cool. I'll keep you updated on the longevity/stains. I like it right now. If you want to get away from cheap disposable pans, go for it.

👤I use the 12” skillets for cooking and the 8” for omelettes, so they are probably my least used skillets. I can use a larger burner and still get used often, so this heats up faster than my 8” burner. Don't listen to the reviews by people who never used a pan made for adults before and don't care to learn technique. Pan sauces can be used to clean your pan. Always preheat and add an oil. I knew the minimum time to preheat my stove for each pan. They are all different. You can learn how to make a pan sauce from a video on the internet. It still looks new.

👤Two years ago, I bought one of these. It cooks well and looks good. I washed it in the dishwasher. The middle layer of aluminum eroded around the rim, leaving 2 steel layers around the rim that cut my finger. I was forced to return the pan at All-Clad's expense. They sent me a new pan, but didn't say anything. This is advertised as dishwasher safe, but it is not. You need to wash it by hand if you get one.

👤The pan looks good hanging up in the rack. When I burn some stains into it, I use a barkeepers friend to keep it shined up. I use a fried egg and butter as my benchmark test. Sometimes I can get a perfect over easy that doesn't require a spatula. I can't seem to figure out what the secret is. It cleans up easily for all other cooking.

👤I was watching cooking demos on-line in which the Chef used All-Clad products. I wanted to treat myself to a skillet. I am replacing my cookware with All-Clad and have purchased two more smaller skillets. They are expensive but worth it. They look great, but they cook great. I can cook at a lower temperature. Even though it's not a non-stick surface, I have fewer instances of food sticking to it. After using the tip, I let the pan cool for a few minutes, then I hit the pan with the scrubbing wand, and it was clean. After the meal, I let it sit and finish the clean-up. "The Bar Keepers Friend" cleaning powder works great on these pans when I need a little extra help.

👤I use this pan for cooking. My wife ruined a few pans with aluminum bases while she was learning to cook. The pans were warped. I bought a Tramontina 3 ply skillet that performs well, but my wife didn't like it very much. She said the pan was too heavy and the sides were flared too much. The All-Clad pan is a bit lighter than the Tramontina pan, the bottom is a bit bigger, and it has a nice lid. I'm not sure if it performs better than the Tramontina pan, but my wife will use it. It is more expensive. I hope it lasts a long time.

Brand: Carote

👤They say no harmful things, but if you look at the trade name for PTFE, it's another one. "We discovered that many of the trade names for PTFE are actually ceramic coating names."

👤The skillets and sauce pans perform as advertised. I followed the instructions with a little oil or butter in the pan as it warmed up. The fried egg slides around easily in the video I posted. I hand wash them. I bought them in different sizes. They look great in my kitchen. I need a skillet larger than the largest offered and also sauce pans larger than 1 quart. I had to keep my teflon pan for big jobs. ;(

👤I bought this and a pot. I think it's great. Eggs and other foods can be eaten with a non stick. It is easy to clean by hand. Don't use a non stick pan with high heat. Use cast iron for high heat. On low to medium heat, use these. Don't put non stick pans in the dishwasher, hand wash them and they will last longer and stay in great condition.

👤When I cleaned it, black dust came off from the bottom and the inside of the pan. It's probably toxic and disgusting.

👤I bought an 11" one. Everything you could ask for is non-stick. This one is very different from my previous one. Things stick even with a lot of oil. I have to scratch them with a spatula. The pan makes a cracking sound when it is heating on low/medium heat, which is scary, and my guess is that the heat distribution is not evenly. I've never heard that from a cold pan. The noise continues. I don't know what's wrong with this item, but it shouldn't have a quality check, so I don't know if they'd accept a return. I don't recommend this product because it has a cracking sound.

👤I needed to replace a pan. I was checking out the new pans. The perfect size for eggs and omelets was this one. I am glad I pulled the gun because I went ahead and did it. I always use butter to grease the pan when making eggs/omelets. I would get spots with the old Teflon pan. That is not the case with this pan. Nothing sticks to it. It's very easy to flip your eggs. The pan is good. I highly recommend this pan if you are looking for a small frying pan.

👤I have had it for two months and it is still in excellent condition. I have never had a pan like this before. My electric stove top only goes up to about 250 F degrees, but this temp kills all other frying pans, not this one it is still granite and the is not even discolored yet. There was an update on 7/12/18. The granite coating is still perfect despite the fact that it has a lot of oil and cooking residuals. I have never had a better frying pan.

👤The Carote pans are the best I have ever had. They are easy to clean and cook in. They wipe out. I would recommend them to others. I love them. My first purchase was a set. I bought more sizes because I loved them so much. These are for my camper. We are also using them in our home.
