The 1500R degree curved design immerses you completely into the gaming landscape, allowing you to spot all threats and opportunities before all of your competitors. This monitor has a wide color gamut and gives deeper colors than most conventional monitors. The visual edge you need to defeat the competition during all of your gaming exploits is provided by the Multiple Ports. In order to eliminate image tearing and stuttering in the process, adaptive sync is a technology. The built-in speakers are perfect for work and gaming settings, they deliver smooth audio while saving space on your desk. The blue light shift. Blue Light Shift reduces blue light, which will allow you to work, watch, or play applications without straining your eyes. A tiltable display allows you to find a sweet spot that bridges clarity and comfort.
👤So far. The picture on this monitor is good. Audio is ok, but I use my own speakers. The monitor is still in great condition, I have no negative thoughts about this. Nothing has yet to fail and it runs. Still recommend to anyone who is reading and to my friends. March 14, 2021 might be an upgrade. There are a few years left in it.
👤I bought 2 of these. I like the brand but the most important thing is "Edge-Less". I was expecting a 1mm edge, but around 5mm would be considered "edgeless" in a budget monitor. The pictures show the edge to edge. If you are like me and have a multiple monitor setup, you don't want a small area in the middle of your work area, these are exactly what you get. They look great if you have a single monitor, they are curved enough to be good and not enough to get glare from the other lights, so they get one star because some people that will only buy one, will not care about the big edge these monitors have.
👤I was hesitant to buy it. I decided a few days ago that I wanted to buy a 27" monitor and a curved screen, so I went for a new one. The monitor has a curved screen. I was dismayed to see that some of the materials were missing or out of the bag when I opened the box. The stand was easy to assemble and I attached it to my Mac Pro Tower system. The picture just wasn't bright or sharp from the start. I could live with it after it was adjusted. The elephant was in the room. There was a light leak at the bottom of the screen. It looked more like a damaged panel than a light leak. After talking to two Amazon reps, I was told that my money would be returned to me and that I would receive a gift card. I looked into another monitor. I couldn't afford anything over $200, so the Spectre caught my eye. The 27" Spectre was ordered about two hours ago, after I saw some glowing reviews on high-tech websites, and it arrived. This is what I have experienced. It was carefully packed by Amazon. The SAMSUNG was not double-boxed. Carefully packed, the monitor sits inside its own colorful box. 3. There are labeled packages of screws, power-brick and cable. 4. There is also a magnetic screw-driver. Very nice! 5. It took less than a minute. I found the stand easy to attach. 6. The film was easy to remove. 7. The build quality is excellent and it doesn't feel cheap. There are 8. The inputs are easy to use. There are 9. The picture came on without a hitch after I hooked it up to my Mac. 10. There were no light leaks or bleeds. 11. The picture was not bright. There are 12. The monitor came alive with a bright and crisp display after I figured out how to navigate the big configuration menu. 13 Text is much better than the one the SAMSUNG did. There are 14. Some people have complained that the display panel is not edgeless. The issue is very close to that reality, so I don't think it's an issue at al. The rim is barely noticeable. Final thoughts Sceptre did a great job with this monitor. I am very happy with this purchase, and I hope that over the next few months, I will be a happy camper.
The high dynamic range technology with the DisplayHDR 1000 certification and the professional color gamut ensures exceptional contrast and color performance. A 27" AOC Gaming G2 series monitor has 1920x1080 Full HD (1080P) resolution. For an ultra-smooth competitive game, response times of less than a minute and a refresh rate of more than a century are ideal. The 1500R curved monitor wraps around your vision. A high 80 Million to 1 contrast ratio is what the 3-sided design has. 3-year zero-bright-dot, 3-year advance replacement, and 1-year accidental damage are included in the resale warranty. lag free display from the video signals is delivered by the AOC Low Input lag. During gaming sessions, the LowBlue Mode and FlickerFree are available.
👤I have never used a Curved monitor before. The contrast issues of a TN panel were not a problem for me. I had the beef to move up to 1440P. You cannot use the OOB settings on this monitor. It took me a fraction of a second to get solid for reading when I scrolled up and down in a browser, the text would dim and get fuzzy until I stopped. I got this monitor for the performance mode, so I quickly started messing with settings. I go into settings with any monitor to get the right colors and brightness. This one is a little extra. I came up with the setting that will make it work great in game or desktop. Game Mode Off Shadow Control 50 low input lag. On for desktop work, Off for in game, less lag much smoother, yes Off here per manual and it feels correct. I've been able to get the monitor to work and look great in all modes by tweaking the color settings in the control panel. It doesn't matter if you move your head around or not, contrast is great. This is a big step up from Tennessee. The curve screen is not a keystone for real, but an effect the curve brings, and that is something I could not do without. I will give curve screens 0 points in the future, I'd be happy with a flat screen. The Freesync feature was already chosen in the panel by the company. It was good to see that it was recognized on its own. I'll read to make sure it's working. I don't know if Freesync is working or not because screen tearing is not a thing anymore. Even though I feel like I got everything I need out of it, I ended up with a 4 star score because there is no manual. I know what I'm seeing. I went through all the settings until I found the ones I needed to fix, because I knew I had to fix it immediately or return the product. I wonder how many people get one of these and return it because they think VA is terrible. I want to return the monitor, but it puzzles me. I can get ideal conditions, but there are two settings that I have to change each time, and there isn't a way to save the preset. The settings were updated to match the edit. I dropped two stars because I think you need toggling this often for the best results.
👤The monitor is nice. I had no issues with using it. The price point and the warranty are the reasons I bought this. I bought it for $430 and it was great. I scratched the screen pretty badly when I accidentally scratched it for 4 months. I think so. I will use their 1-year accidental damage warranty to replace it. My first call to customer service was interrupted by construction work and my voice was so bad I couldn't hear anything. They had to be put on the speaker. I want to use my one time warranty. They didn't ask me for the order invoice, address or serial number. I told them that the screen was scratched. They tell me that the accidental damage warranty only covers cracked screens, which I say isBS, and that it does not cover accidental damage like monitors falling on the floor, acts of God, or even nuclear war. For up to one year from the date of purchase, there is one incident covered. I asked if the warranty covered nuclear war and accidental damage but not a scratched screen. He says that he thinks so. I paid $430 for a decent monitor and a scam of a warranty. A blatant lie and an absolute scam. They need to either fire that man or keep their reputation.
KYY has an ultra-Slim high-quality portable external monitor that can work in both landscape and portrait mode, a stable foldable smart cover, 2 usb-c cable, mini-hdmi to hdmi cable, and a lot more. It has a black metal appearance, a friendly menu control wheel for setting, 2 built-in stereo speakers, and 3.5mm audio inputs to offer an enhanced entertainment experience when viewing videos and playing games. The 28-inch 4K gaming monitor has crisp and detailed visuals. It is compatible with the industry-standard high dynamic range for color and brightness levels that exceed the capabilities of ordinary monitors. The technology supports both adaptive-sync and freesync with the graphics cards. Shadow boost technology enhances image details in dark areas. There is a flexible connection with DisplayPort 1 2 and HDMI x2. The stand has a tilt pivot and height adjustments.
👤I'm very pleased with the ability of this monitor to display colors. Most other monitors have a sRGB color space, but at this price range, it's rare to see a 90% DCI-P3 color space. For those who think I'm speaking alien, you can see the movie in most newer phones and tablets. A simple test is to take a picture of my older DELL monitor and the new ASUS VG289Q. I can see the colors and details in the areas shown by DELL. I used the color sampler tool to make sure that the color in this shadow area is not black. The colors on the ASUS are more vivid in mid tones. If I need to print, I can switch to sRGB mode and check the colors there. The brightness can't be adjusted in the sRGB mode. It's too bright for the ambient light in my room. The movies are eye candy. The text looks sharp due to the high resolution. There are glowing technical reviews on Tomshardware.
👤There weren't many reviews for this particular monitor on Amazon. I love this monitor for my PS4 Pro. There are colors on the screen. This is the monitor that you need for PS4 Pro/Xbox One X. Even though it's only 60hz, it should be good for PS5/Xbox Series X. I'll be happy with this monitor for my PS5 if I see games use 120hz, but I'm not sure if that will be supported by the next-gen consoles.
👤The awful flicker that others are getting is what I got after two months. I would have liked to have seen that issue in the reviews. After about 3 or 4 minutes with the flicker, my monitor turned back on. It gave me an instant eye pain and would happen mostly in white background and RDP sessions. I will be without a monitor for weeks because I threw my box away, and I'm sure this will be a warranty hassle. I was in the demo mode and it would stop sometimes. I stopped it with a combo that was similar to Racing mode with blue light off. It seems that any other combo just starts to fade. I'm pretty sure this will end up being a warranty issue. I would steer clear of this monitor, even though it checks a lot of boxes. I was considering a long time with this and I probably should have gotten the DELL.
👤I finally found a great monitor. The black levels in this monitor are the best I have seen so far, and that is ok as it has some glow in the dark. Second of all, people are complaining about the fact that they're using HDR on non supported games. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a good example of a game that has terrible HDR implementation to begin with and is washed out when turned on. Spider man, God of war, Ghost of Tsushima, and Horizon zero of Dawn are games that I have tried on this monitor and it looks great with high Dynamic range for PS4 pro. I don't understand why this isn't vesa HDr certified, while the other series are. I have listed the monitors in the series that have the "400" HDr certification, but they do not exceed 350 nits, which is funny since the Asus TUF Gaming VG289 has a peak brightness of 350 nits. This is a great monitor that has the best black levels for anIPS monitor and it is of better quality than the more expensive UN series. Any game that has black levels is much more atmospheric and immersive regardless of the resolution. Cyberpunk on PC, set at1080p, looks great on this monitor due to the black levels. What are the cons? The buttons and the display options are not intuitive. You have to go into the OSD to turn your volume up or down, because there are no volume buttons or wheel. It only comes with a display port cable and does not have an HDMI cable. The wire connection locations are placed in the back rather than horizontally. There are no quick buttons for input changes. You have to go into the menu to change your input from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 to display port. The monitor performs very well in the image quality department, so it's a good thing that the cons don't have to do anything with that. I feel they skimped on these technical issues in order to give you an amazing display for this price, so the shortcuts that were made to offer such an amazing picture for this price, are mostly the cons I have listed, and it did not come at the expense of image quality which is There is no reason to think that 60hertz is a con for people who are not planning to play games higher than 60 frames per second. It is a con for people who care more about performance in games than image quality. Only a few games will run at 4k 120 hertz on the PS5 or the xbox series x, and they will not take advantage of the triple A monitors. You should not base your monitor shopping decision on that. Does the PS5 box state that games will run at 8k on PS5 and that you should buy an 8k TV to "future proof" yourself? Absolutely not. Advertising is something that children do.
Simple operation, easy to carry. Not limited by space. The KYY portable gaming monitor has excellent color rendering ability, and it has a 178 wide viewing angle. It can make it easier to watch for a long time and reduce blue light radiation damage. The KYY portable monitor is compatible with most laptop, PC, XBOX ONE, or Nintendo Switch, and has 2 Type-C ports and Mini-HDMI port. It's easy to carry a portable monitor in your bag, ideal for a simple on-the-go dual-monitor setup. A scratch-proof smart cover made of durable PU leather exterior, doubles as a stand, provides comprehensive protection for this portable computer monitor. The cover base has grooves that give you a choice of viewing angle. The KYY portable external monitor can be used as a gaming monitor, screen extender for laptop or phone, and is light but powerful. It has a Premium gray metal appearance, 2 built-in speakers to play audio, a friendly menu control wheel for setting, and a professional support team.
👤I was looking for this model for a while, and found it discounted on Prime Day. The packaging was very nice. 3 cables, a power brick, a folding carry case, and even a screen protectors were included. It was nice to have the screen protectors included. The monitor is small and easy to fit into my laptop case. I don't have to carry the power brick that came with it because the screen powers on via my PC'susb-C port. It was very convenient. The screen is as bright as my Dell laptop. I ran a few dead or stuck tests and it passed. The controls have a button switch that makes it easy to adjust the screen brightness. The on-board speakers are not as good as the ones in my laptop. The speakers in the KYY may be better if you have a small laptop. Most laptops still have a jack for the included headphones. This is important to know if you have a newer phone. I try to play a little bit of first person shooter to see if there was any ghosting and to check the response rate. It looked good. My main use is for work. It is possible to get work done if you have another screen to open up a browser or document. The only downside is that you can't connect a full-size HDMI connector. Use the HDM-to mini-HDMI cable. I hope that I don't need to use the 12 month warranty, because I will update this review if needed in the future. This has been a great purchase for me. After several months of usage and frustration, I decided to return and give an update to my initial review. I bought this unit to take with me on the road, so I'm setting it up and packing it in my computer case a lot. I think that's a normal use-case for a portable monitor. I find that the screen is fairly dim, but that's not the source of my frustration, because turning up the brightness usually makes it usable. Every time you remove power, the monitor loses all of its settings. You have to change the settings. Every time you set it up. All settings should be retained on a monitor that is marketed as portable. Disappointing! The customer service from KYY is top notch. Thank you for that. There is a The KYY model K3-1 is a unit that remembers settings when power is off.
👤I travel a lot for work and before COVID ruined everything for fighting game tournaments. It's easy to put a PS4 in a backpack or duffel bag, but not a monitor. This thing serves its purpose as a hotel room practice setup and a spare monitor for less popular games at local events. If you want to have a portable dual-monitor setup, you can pair it with a laptop. It's a bit pricey for a tiny screen, but it has both built in sound and an audio port for headphones/external speakers. It comes with all of the cables you need, since not everyone has moved to the mini-HDMI format. I don't have an exact measurement for input lag, but it's better than a TV at the very least. If you're looking for a monitor that can stay in your carry-on for whatever reason, this should be one of your top choices.
The stand has tilt, height, and pivot options. The Lepowusb C Monitor has 1920 x1080 resolution visuals and awesome color reproduction. TheIPS screen has a great viewing experience when extended or playing games. Lepow monitor is compatible with many devices. You can connect your devices to the portable monitor via the Mini or Type-c port. The smart cover has a soft lining to keep your monitor safe. It can be used to create a stand of reading, typing or watching. The screen protector protects it from scratches. Lepow is a portable monitor with a small profile and light weight that is ideal for your life and work. 2 built-in speakers efficiently help display multi-media files when listening to music, watching movies, and playing games. You can enjoy great video transmission in game and other entertainment if you use the HDR mode.
👤A nice looking white gift style box was where the Lepow monitor arrived. It had a type-C to type-C and a HDMI cable. There is a mini type that connects to the monitor and a full type that connects to the HDMI cable. The smart cover, screen protectors and user guide are included. The power supply connection device was not included. I received an email from Lepow's customer service stating that they would send me a type-C power cable if I needed it. I bought one because I was anxious to use it. The guide could be improved. It has visuals showing connections to various devices. There is no functional menu information. I took photos of the menu tabs. The guide is difficult to read because of the low contrast of the written text and the small size of the fonts. The metal frame around the screen has rounded edges. Its dimensions are 14 3/8" x 8 3/4" x 3/8" When the cover is added, the monitor weighs 39 12 ounces. The cover is a rubbery material that folds into a stand and has small magnets at the edges to protect it. The cover must have magnets built into it. I believe there was a note in the guide about keeping magnets away from storage media. I don't think the magnets here are strong enough to be a real issue. The left and right edge of the monitor have functional elements. There is a speaker, an audio jack, and a fully functional type-C port on the left edge. The right side has a speaker, a type-C port, and an on-off switch. The roll key is called in the user guide. The key is loaded to the center. It can be moved upward or downward. The key can be pushed. The guide describes the use. The roll key can be pressed to provide brightness control. The functional menu is brought up if you press it longer. Menu item change control is provided by using the roll key and the on-off switch. The process is easy to learn. I accidentally changed the language to Chinese. I had a lot of time to figure out which menu item was needed to change the language back to my native tongue. I looked at the specifications for power requirements before buying the monitor, but found nothing. I did my own checks. The monitor needs an outside power source because it doesn't have a built in battery. Two sources were used as a check. A 120V plug-in module is used for many devices. The second source was a DC source that could supply up to 4 Amps. The test device was an in-lineusb meter. When the monitor first turned on, it was set to 30% brightness. At this level of brightness usage is.7 Amps. The power draw is 3.5 watt. The current draw is now 1.26 Amps (1260 ma) and 6.69 watt, which is the same as the previous draw. The numbers show that a small battery box can be used as a power source. All testing was done at the defaults as the monitor came from the factory. It is possible that changes in other parameters could increase the current and power draw, but I don't think that would make a difference. The source should be at least 2 Amps and be at 5 volts. The output capability of some wall wartusbs could be closer to 1.5 Amp, but even these might be adequate. The monitor's current draw remained at about 1.26 Amp despite my tests having a 4.2 Amp output capability. I connected my gaming laptop to the Lepow monitor to provide a video source and for visual comparison purposes. I used 100% brightness on the computer. The photos were taken with a sigma 18-35 art lens and a 300 d camera, which is a superb camera for this type of test and lighting. There were no changes to the photos taken. The main light source was the camera left. I took photos in my room with the shades closed and open. The intensity was read by the light hitting the table. The results are shown in the photos. It is difficult to compare monitors side by side because there are so many variables involved. There is a qualitative sense to be gained in my test comparisons. The Lepow monitor provided an impressive display, even though it was only marginally adequate lighting. This monitor had less contrast and grayer blacks than my computer display, but it's not entirely valid. My computer display is profiled for accuracy to a specific photo paper and I didn't make any changes to Lepow color and contrast settings.
2 built-in speakers efficiently help display multi-media files when listening to music, watching movies, and playing games. You can enjoy great video transmission in game and other entertainment if you use the HDR mode. There are 9 curved monitors with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Dp up to 85Hz refresh rate. The brightness is 250 cd/m2. Sceptre custom set display settings are built for an enhanced gaming experience. First person shooter, real-time strategy, and Fps. The blue light shift reduces the light that protects you from eye fatigue. This will allow you to work on documents, watch movies, or play games longer. With 1ms moving picture response time, ghosting and blurring are reduced so the user can enjoy the monitor with clarity and precision. The edgeless design completely immerses you in the action and scenery that can be found in the high definition and refresh rate.
👤This doesn't work with the company. It confuses us with the information. It is adaptive. This type of sync is no longer being used. It worked on some and not on others. It only works on old graphic cards. This is not true on the sale sight part. I had a lot of knowledge about the monitors. I will not buy until I do a full research on their products. The best game I ever played was 40. I have an older version of the processor. Don't buy from this seller. Never know what else the company is hiding. The picture is below.
👤Everything is great except for 2. The curve shape has an issue. If you are an engineer. You have multiple windows and the price will not be the same across all of them. There is a small variation issue. If you are using the display port, the display support of 1920x1080 is possible. The port won't display the resolution of the screen. Max 1920 X 1050.
👤The speakers built into the ultra monitor are usable and not bad. I expected a bigger screen. The response time is important in the games.
👤If it did not come with speakers, this would have gotten 5 stars. I bought this for my office, not to watch tv or movies. As a screen, it is good. It is a good finish that repels glare. The interface is easy to set up. It's big enough that I can run multiple apps side by side without using a 2nd monitor, and I can save my 2nd monitor for dedicated apps that I don't need to close or minimize to do other work. It comes with options for wall mounting. It's almost impossible to knock over the desk mount kit. It comes with a real screwdriver for assembly, a real screwdriver with a handle, and a Silicone tip for storage. I don't need another screwdriver, but I was impressed that Sceptre included a nice item to secure 4 small screws. That says something about the company. The built in speakers knocked off 2 stars because they bother me so much. I thought I could get away with not having external speakers on my desk because of the built in speakers I bought. These speakers are not present. Within a minute of using this, I knew I needed speakers. If this is what you're going to offer, why bother putting them in?
👤It is an average piece of crap, it is free sync andhz 85 are cool until you realize that the monitor has the worst stand in existence, and the colors on it are not good.
👤Everything looks better with this monitor.
👤I needed something big and cheap to hold my laptop in. There is nothing top of the line. I wanted a decent screen at a decent price. The monitor does its job. As a bonus, I seem to be able to get Free sync to work via the onboard 1060 as g-sync compatible. I'm not sure this deal can be beat for less than $200.
The KYY portable external monitor can be used as a gaming monitor, screen extender for laptop or phone, and is light but powerful. It has a Premium gray metal appearance, 2 built-in speakers to play audio, a friendly menu control wheel for setting, and a professional support team. native refresh rates of up to 240Hz are available inIPS Technology. A 1ms response time blasts away ghosting and blurs for clear images. The new technology helps maintain image clarity from every angle of the screen. You have a wide array of colors in your arsenal, with up to 99% sRGB color coverage. You get epic, tear-free images that don't slow down your game with the help of the FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC compatible technology. The design of the monitor's cooling and ventilating system is unique, and it keeps the monitor cool during the most intense battles.
👤I might have been too hard on this 3 stars. It's possible that I got a less than perfect display as every monitor has a different manufacturing variable. I got this on the cheap from Amazon. It has some nice features, but the stand is too wide and doesn't raise up high enough, so I had to put it in a cardboard box. The reason I didn't buy the Dell 1440p TN version was because of complaints about color banding which I didn't know was fixable to a degree. The displays are getting better. The current version of Modern Warfare has a PPI of only 88. The old ASUS VG248QE has only 91, but it looks much clearer. I went shopping for something better because it didn't support G-sync/Freesync. The Dell S 2417DG is a very large screen. People were happy about the AW2521HF beingIPS and better color. Not in my case. Also, for now. I sent back a Dell 27in S2719DGF that was a 1440p with 109PPI because I didn't know that G-synch compatibility wasn't an option for Windows 7. The Amazon description didn't specify that. I now know what I'm talking about. Sorry, Amazon. When it comes to Freesync/G-sync compatibility, Microsoft has forced Nvidia to abandon Windows 7. Every time Microsoft updates Windows 10, it creates a lot of work for Nvidia and they no longer have the resources to work on features like G-sync compatibility and Windows 7. I haven't seen a display like this in a long time. Good colors were overtaken by the lighting. I went to the Lagom calibration site because I was fed up with the monitor settings being too high and I wanted to raise a setting that would make the display unpleasant. The only way to correct this is via the control panel color setting or the Freestyle filters, which are not available for Windows 7 anymore. I ran a bunch of tests with a lot of different speeds, but my old monitor beat them by a small margin. I think my RTX 2070 is a little harder to use. It's super. The image quality seems to be better on my old monitor. Maybe I have it. I don't like the image quality in Warzone as much as it looks on the Asus. Let the comments be mean.
👤I have never played on a monitor with a refresh rate of more than 120hz, so I don't have any experience with it. I was a bit worried about leaving behind the higher resolution when I went from a 32inch 2k 75hz monitor. This was not an issue due to the smaller screen. It isn't missed because of the density of my previous monitor. I was worried about the monitor size. This was an issue for about an hour of gaming, then faded away into the wonderful response time and refresh rate of this monitor. I play a lot of games. It has been a game-changing event. I can run all these games at over 200 frames per second. I have seen an increase in my gaming ability due to this monitor. Tracking has never been simpler. If you aren't doing anything more than gaming and media consumption, you might be happy with just a few changes. Every monitor has a different setting, so your most accurate setting could be different. I have not seen any ghosting and my monitor came with no dead pixels. If you can find it below $400, I was able to get it for $315. This is coming from a person who had never played on a monitor before. I may not be the best person to make a purchase decision from, but from the many reviews I had read and watched prior to my purchase, most have had similar feelings about this monitor. I am very pleased with my purchase so far.
27” full HD display. The response time is 1ms and the refresh rate is 240Hz. It is compatible with the G-SYNC. The stand has tilt, height, and pivot options.
👤I was the former owner of 3 and one. I was drawn to this market because I don't think 4K displays are worth it at this point in time. The majority are compromises, but the bandwidth requirements for running 4:4:4 subsampling, an extended color gamut, and a refresh rate of 144 Hz and beyond will be much better served by DP. I believe the experience to be the most immersive until the price to performance ratio trend of the current is changed. I can state with confidence that I have found my perfect monitor in the form of the 27GL850 from LG. It has addressed all of the quality control concerns that I have had throughout my quest of trying to get a high refresh rate display. The monitor can be referred to as having an In-Plane Switching panel as this is their proprietary term for the technology that produces the wider color gamut and viewing angles. I did not buy this display because I am a hardcore game player, but because I wanted a quality monitor with good color reproduction, a uniform panel, and good response time. My purchase was based on the chance of a monitor being made by the company. I am proud to report that this monitor delivers. The display has excellent contrast and response time. White uniformity is present across the entire screen while the colors in the factory appear correct next to my Dell. Outside of sRGB mode, the colors come off as over-saturated, although some may prefer the added vibrancy of the NanoIPS technology. Black levels are on par with most other displays that I have used, despite the measurement coming in at a somewhat lower figure than similar displays. The monitor community accepts that the fast setting is adequate in preventing overshoot. coronas are undesirable artifacts that come from the faster and fastest settings. I have had no issues with gaming despite the monitor not having a variable overdrive, as I tend to binge on games like CS:GO. I will say that the strength of the presence of the glow on my display falls on the moderate end of the spectrum because this is a review where transparency informs prospective buyers. The panel is 27 inches, which is a decent amount of real estate for this phenomenon to occur. It is important to keep in mind that this varies on a per panel basis. It is a consequence of using anIPS panel for computing purposes. It's nothing new or anything that can't be fixed by adjusting the brightness level, viewing distance, height, and angle. Placing the monitor further away is one way to remedy the situation. One way to reduce the glow is to position the screen in such a way that one's gaze meets the center of the screen, as the height of the top bezel is in relation to one's eyes. The final tip is to tilt the screen so that it reduces the glow. I can easily say that this is the best monitor I have ever used. I will not bash the most recent iteration of the high refresh rate display, the PG279QZ, as one can refer to the top review of the display to see what types of problems plague those monitors. Quality control still exists in consumer grade monitors, that is what I will say, it is a breath of fresh air. This purchase has instilled confidence in me when it comes to the brand of monitors that I buy, because no manufacturing process is going to produce near perfect monitors all of the time. I think that this model will give all monitor buyers hope that they can get a quality monitor in this market. I've attached pictures of the monitor at different brightness levels. I posted the same array of shots for this sample because I found another monitor from Micro Center. There is a small area of bleed in the top left corner. It's not noticeable on a black screen unless I raise the stand's height. Please see the pictures without the headphones if you want to identify them. The photo uploader refused to retain the sequence in which I had ordered them. There is a new word for it.
The design of the monitor's cooling and ventilating system is unique, and it keeps the monitor cool during the most intense battles. The 1080P FHD portable monitor has a 1920 x1080 resolution, 178 viewing angles, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The portable monitor works with multiple devices like laptops, smartphones, PC, PS4, XBOX, or Nintendo Switch, and has 2USB-C Ports, Mini-HDMI Ports on one side. No driver needed. It solved the multi-wire winding problem with 3.5mm audio inputs and strengthened the ports' stability. The portable laptop monitor is thin, lightweight, and travel-friendly, just like a tablets, and is suitable for taking with it everywhere. It gives you more screen space to stay organized, it gives you more screen space to watch movies and games on your phone, and it gives you more screen space to play games. There are grooves in the cover base that make it easier to choose a viewing angle. KYY has an ultra-Slim high-quality portable external monitor that can work in both landscape and portrait mode, a stable foldable smart cover, 2 usb-c cable, mini-hdmi to hdmi cable, and a lot more. 👤I bring my work with me on the road since I work from home. I need a portable second monitor that I can plug into my laptop when I go stay with my family for a week or so every couple months. The picture is great and the monitor looks slick. Once you get used to it, it's really easy to use. I couldn't find it in the description, but it comes with cables. The power source is a power adaptor and a cable. It comes with a cable for theusb-c tousb-c I use the mini-HDMI to HDMI cable to connect it to my laptop. If the device you plugged into can provide the necessary power, then it doesn't need to be plugged into a power source. If you are using HDMI, you need to plug it into a power source or the wall. All of the cables are 3ft, so if you need something longer, you have to get it separately.
👤I use it on our bike. The plan was to use my phone to stream services while I worked out. We wanted a bigger screen than the iPad has. It turns out that you can watch videos on YouTube. You can't stream most of the other services. I think it's related to the fact that this monitor isn't HDCP compliant. The seller seems to have a language barrier. They didn't understand my question based on their answers. The scroll wheel on the side can be used to change speaker volume, but only if you drill into the menus every single time you want to change the volume. The scroll wheel can be used to adjust the screen brightness. I find it very inconvenient that there is no way to set it to adjust the volume by default. I connected an external speaker that I had through the aux port, but the volume controls on the speaker were not functional, so it was not easy to control the volume on this monitor. I'm going to try and find an external speaker with an inline volume control, but it's a problem for our application and anyone who wants to use this as a stand alone monitor connected to any source of content. If you can't control the volume on your computer or laptop, then why have built in speakers? The seller told me that if you push the scroll wheel up instead of down, it will default to the volume control, which will solve the volume control issue. Despite the fact that the service people said that was not possible, I discovered that you can actually stream to this device from Apple TV, Roku, and Firestick. I don't know what the explanation is but you can use those devices to stream paid streaming services like Netflix, and they look great.
👤It would not show up as an external monitor, rendering it useless, even after it was connected. The quality of the display image definition was poor, and no amount of adjustment made any difference. Would not recommend. I am very confused by all the reviews. Will return it immediately and order a name brand monitor instead of a cheapo one. For an all-day-every-day work setup, it will cost an extra $100, but it will be worth it. The vendor has been very responsive in discussing the problem after the monitor was a disappointment. They are working on an improved model. They're giving me a free replacement after I return the first unit to Amazon to see if it works better. They seem like a good company, and I hope their next model is of higher quality, because they sent me a second monitor to try out free of charge after I returned the first one. They are trying. The first unit was not able to function in extended display mode, which the replacement monitor was able to do. It can only be made clear at a resolution that makes it impossible to move objects between displays and windows are the wrong size. It is useless for my purposes. The ViewSonic monitor I replaced has no issues. The ViewSonic has a built-in kickstand. The KYY unit is not as stable as the ViewSonic because it relies on folding the slipcover to a certain configuration. The ViewSonic kickstand is a plus. The bottom line. If you want a second monitor but don't need to slide windows between displays, the KYY model is probably just fine. It is cheaper than ViewSonic.
Both FreeSync and adaptive-sync are supported with both graphics cards. It's compatible with newer graphics cards. The 1500R curved gaming monitor has an ultrafast 165Hz refresh rate and is designed for professional gaming. The display colors are 16.7 million. The 1ms response time is achieved with the help of the Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology. The FreeSync Premium technology eliminates screen tearing and choppy frame rates. Shadow boost enhances image details in dark areas. It is compatible with both the FreeSync with the Radeon graphics cards and the adaptive-sync with the NVIDIA graphics cards.
👤I was excited to get this monitor. The drawbacks of losing variable refresh rate are not included in the benefits of ULMB. Sounds great! It's terrible in practice. There is artifacting around an object moving on the screen. If you want a reference, you can see the same problem for the monitor that has ELMB. I don't think trading motion blur for reduced brightness is worth the trade-off. The display settings are not nice. There is no normal display mode. All of the display modes are "game visual", except for sRGB, which has the setting of brightness, contrast, etc disabled. It is difficult to calibrate the display. The icing on the cake is that I am returning the monitor because of the deadpixel issue. I don't want to have a monitor that is not working because I don't want it to look like it's malfunctioning.
👤I was excited for this to come in, but I quickly realized how bad it is. The menu system is not working. I couldn't get the menu to show up even after I did something. The thumb stick on the back was able to scroll through the inputs. I followed the instructions in the manual in order to get the menu, but it never came up. There is no way to change the contrast. If you are building your own computer, do not get this monitor. If the monitor is running windows, it only gets a signal from the pc. There is no way to get the computer program to register. It will state that there is no signal. I haven't been able to get the monitor to work with my computer. Third. What monitor doesn't have a display port? It is outdated for gaming. I don't think one HDMI and one VGA port is good. If you're building your own pc, I wouldn't recommend this product. It seems overpriced for the quality.
👤I haven't seen my boyfriend in a week, he is staring at the screen and watching 4k videos, like a zombie. He won't eat, he barely sleeps, and he hasn't kissed our guinea pigs since the monitor came. He's in a sick state. Will I ever see my boyfriend again? Or will he be sucked into the lovecraftian horror of the monitor? At least he's got a good k/d in the game.
👤I think that ASUS added a lot of features that made up for it. I can't tell the difference between this and my other recently purchased monitor which is a higher resolution. This thing is an amazing buy at the price Amazon has it listed for. The menu has a button on the back, but it's not just buttons. The picture is clear even at the lower resolution, and the curve will draw you into the monitor and expand your vision range to the corners on the larger screen size. It has been a great upgrade over my last monitor and I have been using it for gaming and movies for several weeks now. The monitor has speakers, but it's not listed under the features. They are quiet, so unless you have $20 for some speakers at the moment, they will get the job done in a pinch. I'm glad I didn't compromise and drop down to a 27 inch over this one because I would absolutely buy this again. There is a Oh, and not a single dead person! Awesome!
The Ultra Portable Monitor is portable with only net weight of 1.42lb and 0.29 inches slim, it is the best for travelling. Plug and play is a feature. The plug and play feature of the portable monitor doesn't require a driver installation. It is compatible with thunderbolt 3. Support mirror and split screen mode, increase your productivity and enjoy your gaming. The original protective cover is strong enough to fold into 3 different positions to create a stand. Thanks to the smart pen hole design, you can easily stand the monitor. It is easy to connect with laptops, PCs, phones, PS3/PS4 and XBOX ONE, as well as a keyboard and mouse, with a portable display with a mini HDMI and ausb port. Simple operation, easy to carry. Not limited by space.
👤The monitor comes with a case that is handy to protect the screen during travel. The package has one 3Ausb-C charging station, one USB-C toUSB-C cable, one USB-C toUSB-A cable, and a min-HDMI to HDMI cable. I have been using this monitor for two weeks and it has not been a problem. The display is clear. The menu can be adjusted to have the color temperature changed. The view angle is great, but I am not sure if it is a panel monitor or not. I found it loud on full volume. It's easy to connect to MacBook Pro. The included cable can be used without an extra power charge. The MacBook Pro has enough power to drive the monitor. Since the second port is for power charging, make sure to use the first port on the monitor. The brightness can be adjusted from the menu and I am setting it at 80 to match the MacBook Pro. I tried to connect this monitor to the Nintendo Switch to play some video games on the go. It's pretty handy. You can use the mini-HDMI cable to connect the switch dock and monitor. It was fun and Mario odyssey was running smoothly. When I have time, I will try the monitor on the pi. Will update later with the result. This monitor has an impressive display and quality.
👤When I visit clients locations my internet provider had issues after I ordered this to help. I had to move my office to a coffee shop for more than two weeks. The monitor got a workout. I am impressed. Despite the less bright screen, it is easy to read text. The manual for my late model Acer laptop said my trouble getting it to work was because it wasn't rated for it. You know it works fine after receiving an email from customer support. The two cables are better than the AOC brand port people complained about. The hard material of the case protects the screen when it's being transported and it stands up in multiple angles. I tried and returned for that reason. Some cases are not protective. I returned the portable screen and stand I ordered because the case was poorly designed, so I could plug in. There is a battery version of the reading manual. There is a 120 v power transformer. I only use that occasionally, otherwise I use the laptop's power supply. It can be used with phones, game systems, and more. It's fairly clear that sound is not a powerhouse. I'm glad I got this. It's handy when I'm visiting clients. The manual is poorly written and vague. I am familiar with other monitors and I have not tried hard to adjust the settings. It should be easier. You get a box that says something like "portable monitor" with no brand. The box is well packed and has all the cables included, but the device's cover is sturdy and protects it as it is a portable solution. If you want a name brand to brag about it, that's not it. It's a plus that the MGF responds to email and gives support to questions you have, it's rare to get that kind of response.
