👤In 5 seconds, boots from cold to on. The system opens via normal screws of the bottom plate, exposing the logic board and 45 watt battery. There is an extra space for a second M.2 NVMe drive, a second RAM slot, and even a full SSD slot inside the machine. Excellent 17inch 144hz screen dims nicely and has many color modes including low blue night modes, which is great for watching movies. The build quality of the system seems really good, including the heatpipe to the cooling system on the left and right rear that blows hot air out of the back of the unit, which is near the keyboard case. It's hard to beat the quality of the build and the combo of hardware and build for $850, but the battery life is mediocre. I like the user upgradable design that's easy to use and has basic tools that most people have. The style screw driver and corner screw are the same length. Thank you! The factor M.2 drive is really fast with file transfers. Wireless network performance is fast and low. It's light weight and low mass of about 5 lbs makes it portable and lighter to move around for excellent ergonomics, which is really amazing given the size of the display. A full keyboard with number pad makes the IO a pleasure, though you'll want to use a mouse since it's not ideal for fast pace games.
👤It has been my job for more than 30 years. I built my own computers. I'm in the middle of a move and my water-cooled Tower is in storage. I needed a semi-decently powered laptop to use while I was away. The TUF laptop is powered by a decent amount of power but not breaking the bank. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The screen is nice. I patched the OS and updated all the drivers. The issue starts when I play any mp4 video using any player be it the built in Media player or using the 1650 Ti graphics card. Video goes wrong. I have attached a video to show you. I'm not going to be dealing with video issues on a brand new laptop right out of the box. It's going back.
👤I use it to play World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. It does not get heat up and runs at high performance. If you play a game, you should get one.
👤I was expecting this laptop to sound like it's about to take off at mach 5, but it's really not that loud compared to an older PC or an original PS4 pro whose fan is tired on newer games. It's not quiet, but it's not as much of a distraction as I anticipated. Definitely get one of those, even though it does get pretty warm during intensive gaming even with an additional cooling pad underneath. The screen goes black for a couple of seconds when you plug in or plug out your power source. It shouldn't be an issue during gaming sessions, but you should be careful if your charging cable ever goes out. Internal memory is small. I bought an additional 4 terabytes of storage, which installed smoothly. It runs FFXIV without any issues and scored very high on the Shadowbringers and Endwalker benchmark, so it should be good for online gaming for another couple of years.
The thermal system of the ROG is called the Intelligent Cooling thermal system. Enjoy your photos, movies, and games with the crisp quality on the non-touch screen. The most powerful and fast 10th Gen Intel 4-Core i5-10300H has a base clock of 2.5 GHz and a max boost clock of 4.5 GHz. 4GB of dedicated video memory for fast, advanced graphics cards is provided by theNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 MaxQ. The laptop can be improved with the help of the NVIDIA Optimus technology. High-bandwidthDDR4 RAM and 16GB of system memory will allow you to run your graphics-laden PC games and video-editing applications with ease. Save files fast and store more data with the 512GB solid-state drive. With huge amounts of storage and advanced communication power, PCI-e NVMe SSDs are great for a lot of things. 👤I wanted a laptop that was strong enough to run Star Citizen. The price was fair and the laptop exceeded my expectations.
👤The screen quality is not good. The touch pad is not very sensitive. Without being plugged in, battery life is not very good, frame rate drops and major lag ensues. It is light and thin and does a good job. I don't think it will be too portable due to the batt life and you won't be blown away by the graphics. The games it can play on high settings don't look great on a low quality screen. I would buy it again for the price I paid. I bought it to be my laptop. It does a good job. I have been playing Lost Arc and have to change the settings a bit. It's good performance for the price, but def not gonna knock your socks off.
👤The porttil is el 22 de enero de 2022. Illego con todas las especificaciones correspondiente, de momento el porttil me va excelente. Nota: recomiendo alma mascenamiento en caso.
👤This is a great little laptop. It's handled most of my games well. The performance improvements are noticeable. I'm very satisfied with my experience so far.
👤The laptop runs smoothly and you can see how much ram each application is taking. If you travel frequently or can't have a desktop anchored somewhere, this laptop is 888-739-5110
👤Muy laptop sin duda alguna, solo tarda un poco por Windows 11 en acomodarse.
The 9th generation Intel Core i5-9300H processor has a 4.1 GHz clock. The display has a Full HD screen with a backlit display. There are 2 slots open for easy upgrades and 1 hard drive bay. Wireless: Intel Wireless wi-fi 6 AX200 The keyboard has a backlit design with twin fans and dual exhaust ports. The keyboard has a backlit design with twin fans and dual exhaust ports.
👤The poor quality control by Acer earned them a 1 star. I set the laptop up after I received it. The D key was not working when I entered my information. The brand new out of the box product is what I had to send the laptop to get repaired after I called the tech support. I have to repackage everything, wait for a shipping label, drop it off and wait for a few weeks, instead of working on projects that I bought the laptop for. I am very disappointed in the quality control of Acer. I can not review the laptop since it was bad from the beginning. Most reviews I have read about the Nitro 5 are positive, so I hope that is the only issue with the machine. It has been 22 days since I received my new laptop. I have not received any information about the status of my case other than that the laptop is being repaired. I don't like waiting more than 3 weeks to get a new laptop.
👤The Kingston 8GBDDR4 2666MHZ ram works perfectly to upgrade from 8 to 16GB. SODIMM KCP426SS8 This is for the Core i5-9300H version, but should be fine for any other model. The computer is great.
👤It's a real deal, at $579.99 for the AN515-54-5812 I have liked it's features and performance. It can be upgraded with storage and RAM. I will recommend this machine to my friends and family.
👤Potential solutions to the problems I had in the cons section were included. Pros and Cons: -Slim size, easy to take on the go, cheap open slots inside to upgrade components, loud fans, and poor audio quality. The built in speaker volume needs to be raised to hear the fan noise. If you have a mic in your hand, leave it open during online games because your teammates will have to listen to it constantly. Good news, there is a blue tooth, so I suggest connecting external speakers or headphones. It's hot. Make sure that your battery settings are on the best performance, not the best performance if it's plugged in. If you want the laptop to last a long time, you need to have less performance or learn to undervolt. The wrong graphics card was used during gaming. If you have bad performance, it could be that the laptop is using the Intel graphics card. Under "manage 3D settings" and "global settings", switch preferred graphics processor to a high- performance one. When not plugged into power, the laptop suddenly restarts. For me, turning off "Delayed Launcher" made this go away. It's not enough space and there's a lot of bloatware to make it worse. It is definitely advisable to invest in at least 1 ton of additional storage. If you only play games from the 90's, you'll only have enough space for two or three games. The touch pad is terrible, and the screen is black, but yellow smudges at the top of the screen are not visible. It's on the left for some reason, so you have to cram both of your hands into one. If you use controllers or a mouse, it's not an issue. The mouse floats around. It's laggy most of the time, but I've tried updating drivers. When a key is pressed, the keyboard lights turn on. You can't leave them on when you're using it in the dark. The company refuses to add the feature to leave the forums on even though many people are requesting it. The battery life was short. If you want to play on the bus or plane, you'll want to keep in mind that this will not last for very long.
There are no DVD drives, but there are 3xusb-A 3.2, 1xusb-C 3.2, and 1xHDMI. 👤Why did I purchase this? I was looking for a laptop that I could use for work, travel easy, and still have time to play a game when I am on the road. I wanted to make sure I was getting the most value for my money. I don't do intensive work applications on it. I don't like playing games, so getting that extra millisecond of response time was not a concern, but I wanted something that could handle current games and most games that will come out over the next couple of years. What did I compare it to? Most comparisons were to the older (but still capable) 1050i and other variations. I wanted the newest I could get. The bench mark was where I searched. Most of the ones that had the series of graphics card were the ones that I wanted to get a 9th generation i7 from. Also, note: At the time of writing this, it is not available on Amazon, but it is possible that it will be soon. It is available on the website for more than this unit, but it comes with a smaller hard drive. I decided against that route because I didn't want to have to add an extra drive when I got my laptop, and the cost was too much. Also, note: The benchmark testing on a Gen 9 i5 vs i7 were very close, but future proof your purchase is a good idea, it didn't look like a big enough difference to move me to the 7. Also, note: I could not locate the laptop on the website of the company. There are some laptops that have the 9th generation i7, 16gb ram and the 1650 graphics card, but that cost difference was hard for me to stomach. The look, weight, and look of the game I play made it hard for me to justify the extra costs. The documents state that you can upgrade the stick to 16GB. If I get into a game that is giving me performance issues, I'm okay with the upgrade cost of about 70 bucks. Also, note: If you don't use an authorized tech to upgrade, you might void the warranty. I don't know if it's legal due to the right to self-repair, but I've done enough to make you think I'm wrong. I wanted a 512gigSSD, boot speeds, and other things are worth it. I can fit about six modern games on it. I'm ok with that for now. It has an extra 2.5” bay for another solid state drive, so if I need it, it won't cost me anything extra, my experience will differ from yours. The extra bay is nice because you don't have to reload the OS, you can add the drive and increase your storage easily. This applies to the RAM upgrade as well. I will be using this for work as well, and it is as small as a gaming laptop. I didn't want flashy lights or gaming brand logos on the cover. I don't want to flaunt my power in my day job, I have the power to game. The keyboard has settings on off, low, and high. The dark room was perfect for me to see while not blinding my vision. I have had my fair share of jet engines and this is not a loud laptop. This doesn't seem to be one of those. It gets warm, but nothing of concern or concern would burn to the touch. The description says it will last 9 hours, but I haven't tested it yet and will update when I do. I doubt that is enough for when I can't plug in. I would get 2 hours running with the 1650 on. I had to remove a lot of it. MacAfee and a Lenovo thing, that is all. What are the games I play on it? No man. Sky Beyond is played on high settings with no issues, as I play and test more games. Over the past few months, thrown a lot of games at this. Anything made before the year of the pig can run at a maximum speed. The newer games will run well at med/high settings. On 12/10/2018 Cyberpunk 2077 was played on Medium with no issues at all. It could have been bumped up a setting. What about the reports about the sun? I have not seen bleeding on the edges of darker games, or I might just not be paying attention. I have not experienced this before, and I hope I don't. I understand that everyone has defects. I think everyone's mileage will be different.

👤I work as a data analyst. I over-analyzed 10 different laptops between $600 and $1500. The laptop with the best performance-to-cost ratio was this one. I needed a laptop for school. Below is a little detail about why this laptop is great. The performance of the processor and the graphics card is good enough to handle my data science class. I did not game on this laptop because it is only for schoolwork, but a 1650 is decent enough to get you some decent frame rates if you're willing to knock down the settings to medium or low. There is a suggestion about the RAM. If you're buying this for college or want to play a bit of gaming, you should buy at least one extra 8GB of RAM, it's only $35. You have an empty slot next to the laptop, which only has one stick of RAM. Some games coming out with a minimum of 16GB of RAM might as well be upgraded. I upgraded mine because it required that your RAM % usage not be above a certain percentage. We all know that Chrome is hungry. The plastic build of this laptop doesn't feel cheap. It is strong. The screen wobble is very minimal when typing on the keyboard. If you press hard enough, there is some flexibility. I use this laptop for about 6 hours at a time with screen brightness set to 100% and hooked up to an external monitor. I use the vantage app to save time by putting the laptop in power saving mode. The smaller charging port is great because it makes it easier to charge a gaming laptop. The display on the screen is bright enough to get work done. The color accuracy isn't as good as a macbook pro, but it's pretty good for the price. If you're majoring in or working in a position that requires color accurate work, you might want to look for a better laptop with a better screen. I like upgradeability, a key feature of this laptop. More and more laptop manufacturers are not allowing you to upgrade parts. You can upgrade the ram and drive with this laptop. There is a pack of parts that come with the laptops. The laptop is great for those on a budget. I bought this laptop and the Legion 5 Pro. The 5 Pro performed the same as the laptop in my use case. I liked the metal build of the 5 Pro, but the laptop I got had a weird popping noise from the speakers and an unusable trackpad.
👤The build quality is good. You can see where they cut corners. Expect to get about 1 hour of gaming time on the battery. An extra 8gigs memory is required for this machine, so add that to your cart as well. If you plan to have more than a few games in it at a time, you'll need an additional hard drive. It's loud. This machine sounds like a wind turbine when running on med settings. There will be an additional $150+ in hardware updates. This machine is not a laptop, it is a graphics card with a dark screen.
The military standard construction is durable. The processor is from the AMD Ryzen 5 family. A 300-Nits display with a TouchscreenIPS display. The graphics are integrated by the company. The graphics are integrated by the company.
👤I have a hot rod after living with a slow laptop. I like this machine. The speed is fun to work with. The keyboard is lit at night. I haven't used the camera yet. I can't review that function yet. The other functions are online and working as they should. My wife now has laptop envy and I would buy again.
👤My HP has an amazing upgrade. Really fast and efficient. There is a touch screen and a backlit keyboard. It's awesome that fingerprints are security. It was easy to setup. Just turn it on and follow the directions. It's all that most people will need except for the computer nerds. I'm not a fan of video games so I couldn't comment on that. I think you could play a lot of games on it with no issues. It's great.
👤My problem was that I wanted a consumer laptop that would carry over some of the benefits of my old Thinkpad, and I was hoping that the new one from Lenovo would do that. It definitely does not. The dealbreaker was the fact that there are many different types ofusb-c ports and this one is only forusb data There is no support for additional displays via a hub. I was disappointed by the feel of the keyboard, which was not as good as Thinkpads, and I was forced to look at my fingers when I flipped the keyboard keys. If you don't mind plugging in all of the peripheral cables every time you sit down, and you don't need additional screens, this thing is awesome. Blazing fast, huge and very responsive, a full number keypad, and plenty of RAM and SSD to last a while, this is a very good device. The 4 stars are what they are. I upgraded to a used T14 to support the fullusb-C hub and keyboard for $120 more, after returning this.
👤I love my new computer. It takes about 4 seconds from power on to desktop. I can play with virtualbox with 6 cores and 12 gig of ram. I don't like fingerprints on my screen, but it's a cool feature for those who do, and I don't use the touchscreen. I would have saved the money if I had gotten a regular screen. The blue color is bright. I use my laptop in the dark basement and the backlit keyboard is amazing. That has been a lifesaver. I can't go wrong with this laptop.
👤I bought a Dell and it didn't live up to my expectations. I have never had a problem with Dell. I saw the computer and thought I would try it. I was surprised. The laptop has a keyboard. The graphics are fast. It has a touch screen. Everything that I was looking for was better than I thought it would be. This laptop is a strong suggestion.
👤A good laptop for personal use. The Touchscreen is ok. I haven't used the camera yet.
👤The deal is great for the specs. The package was well packaged and arrived on time.
The IdeaPad gaming laptop is powered by a mobile processor. It's the new standard for gaming performance in innovative, thin, and light laptops with 6 ultra-responsive cores. The display has theNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card to help you play your favorite games. The 120Hz refresh rate is tear-free for gaming. There are 8GB of memory and M.2 of storage. 👤The 5600H facilitates efficient on the go browsing from the undersized battery, while the GTX1650 delivers an affordable gaming performance. Both storage and RAM can be upgraded for the relatively low price. The laptop has given up on endurance and has been replaced with a lower cost and lighter weight battery. The Windows 10 laptop does not have a lot of bloatware. A 30 day trial of LiveSafe is included. The computer needs the included utility to operate it. Users who like having a full size keyboard with a separate numpad will be pleased by the choice of a 96% keyboard by Lenovo. The keyboard is backlit with a white backlight which is nice and visible, but a bit less eye friendly than red. Function keys can be used as a secondary to media keys, but they need to be held down to be activated. The laptop uses a 120hz screen which provides for silky smooth gaming if you turn the settings down a bit. 120hz is not as fast as the 144hz we see in many monitors. The standard 60hz is double. The finish performs well in bright environments. The screen automatically turns off at the lowest brightness when using the brightness adjusting, and the difference between maximum and minimum brightness seems to be around 2W of power. The volume keys do support press and hold, but the brightness media keys do not. The cooling and laptop performance can be maximized with the help of the software from the Lenovo. This feature is highly recommended since this laptop is likely to be plugged in most of the time. This laptop can consume as much as 128W when plugged in with a maximum performance and screen brightness set to maximum. If high powered peripherals are connected, the laptop will consume more than 135W on the power brick. When playing a game on a laptop, it is recommended that you prop up one end of the laptop with a pen to prevent overheating. The battery has a design capacity of 45Wh and my particular battery has an actual capacity of 46.38Wh, according to the battery's label. The small battery is capable of charging and discharging at 80 watt, which is quite a high performance for such a small battery. Pushing the battery to the limit reduces longevity. It takes less than 40 minutes from a full charge to go from 100% to 20%. The laptop will last more than two hours if you want to stream videos at medium brightness. The laptop is supposed to be plugged in, but you can only use the rectangular DC charge. The laptop does not support charging from its type C port, which means that you can't extend endurance from a common power bank. The back panel can be removed with a screwdriver and a pry tool, revealing an additional M.2 port, and pins for a hard disk next to it. Lifting up the side of the metal RAM cover is needed to access the ram. I accidentally dropped mine from a height of 3 inches, screen first, and scratched the paint, as a side note. There was no functional damage, although the lid was scratched, so consider this a data point in an unintentional drop test.

👤Games run smoothly. There are no lags, stutters, or any of that from the computer. The battery life could be better if I changed the settings. The volume output from the laptop is something I'm on the edge about. At times you can't really hear anything, but the next minute the audio is so loud you can't hear anything else. Everything is completely noce!
👤The computer runs games and multi task great, but I can't spell my name because the C key doesn't work, neither does Z X or V, other wise love computer.
👤I think I've ever been more happy with a laptop purchase, and even building my own rig with comparable power would have costs at least but likely more then I paid with this unit.
The graphics card from the company, the GeForce RTX 3050. The Ti 4GB GDDR6 is up to 1585MHz at 60W. The Intel Core i7-11370H processor has 12M cache. 👤The manual has a quote from it. If I have to wash my hands every time I handle it, it is probably not safe. I returned it because I would not have purchased it. This whole process was inconvenient.
👤This machine is perfect so far, I only had it a day. Even if you're not very computer literate, it's very easy to set up. I've had the best performance with the Asus computers for the longest time, so I don't doubt its performance. This can handle most of the things I need. I plan to upgrade the ram for better performance. The item came two days earlier and was perfectly boxed. I will buy from there again.
👤I'll make this easy. As of Q3 2021. When plugged in, NVMe boots up in barely five seconds. The screen and battery life are top-notch. There are other things that you can charge via theusbc. The button is on the keyboard. The price is very fair. There is no 2.5" drive port that I could see. I had to get creative getting some of the bolts off because they were so tightly screwed on. There is a second RAM slot as well. The stick that I got was a single 8GB stick. This is the first PC I've owned that didn't recognize the second drive I put in, but it just needed to be manually formatted. It works well with two drives and 24 gigabytes of memory.
👤This is a lower level gaming PC. It arrived on time and in good shape. When the drivers were not up to date, I had some problems playing games, but when that was over, it was possible to load them without crashing. This computer is not good enough to perform at a very high level as a gaming computer. It struggles to run many things. I have been having intermittent low FPS and crashes in these games, but they are not particularly difficult to run. The computer has a problem with multitasking. All this is happening. It was said. The low amount of RAM may be the reason for the issues. If you are going to purchase this laptop, I recommend you upgrade the ram to 16gb because I will be doing that in a few weeks. I recommend the desktop if you're trying to decide between a gaming laptop or PC. I bought this for work and mobility. Even as a work laptop, the RAM needs to be upgraded.
👤I think the lights on the keyboard are nice, but that's normal for gameing labtops and desktop, and it should last a long time. Highly recommended for budget gaming. No downs. If you want more space, you have to get an external hard drive, but not an optical drive since I use it for primary games. Things I can work on.
👤I had a bad battery. We unplugged the windows and it instantly died. It wouldn't charge. If unplugged, it wouldn't stay on. Nothing worked for the various FAQ solutions. Went to the phone with the company. We were sent to a local warranty center. It will take over a week to get it back with a new battery and be tested. There were a few other reviews that warned about bad factory batteries. We got one of the duds. It is what it is. It took 10 days to get a new battery for the laptop. It works like a champ now. There were no real complaints. It does what it is supposed to do. We were unlucky with the battery, but there were other reviewers who had the same problem. I will change my 1 star to something else once we get it back and have a chance to use it. I can't recommend it until then because it's a poor purchase. It took us roughly 2 weeks to get the laptop back and the battery replaced. It works well now. We used it and tested it and have no complaints. We would have liked to have had a good one out of the box, but the manufacturer stepped up and sent us to a local repair location and we got it fixed as quickly as possible. The review went from a 1 to a 4.

👤I didn't check, but I'm responsible for not checking, because I was unaware that the RoG series had webcams removed. I can't use this laptop for my classes, for my calls or for zoom meetings. I had a few minor issues. Updating the software solved the problems of not turning on the wireless device. It works amazingly! I can see the grass moving in the wind. Barbarians pillage my fishing boats as I see the fish and crabs on the coast in Civilization 6. I can see the expression on the Elite's face as he bitches at me in the game. The laptop is perfect once you don't mind the webcam being absent. There is a The battery life is perfect so far and it doesn't get hot even after 3 days of being on; updates and installing many Gigs of games.
👤The computer I bought was supposed to be "ASUS ROG Strix G15 (2021)". I was met with the "ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED". The computer works well and runs smoothly, but it is not what is advertised and it loses all credibility.
👤I bought a laptop that can run most 64bit operating systems. I bought a model for my wife. One of the reasons I got this laptop for her was that I own a 2019 ASUS ROG gaming laptop. I put a second drive and a stick of RAM into the laptop. If you're tired of Windows, you can always install your favorite Linux flavor on these laptops as they offer excellent support for drivers. This laptop doesn't have a camera, so I gave it one star. It does have a microphone. When I installed my wife's memory upgrade, I saw two memory slots. I can tell you that there are two slots for ram. The full supported 32GB of memory. I set her up with 24 gigabytes.
👤Hasta el momento, mecido excelente producto. 30% y 50% de la GPU dedicada, pero el modo silencioso es un bueno. Muy an tienes refrigeracin, pero se ha comportado.
👤The computer is a waste of money and the battery life is terrible, when I try to charge it it stops charging and I want my money back.
👤My son was happy with the fast delivery of the lap top.
👤The laptop is great for gaming and could use an update on ram, but I guess that depends on what you're using it for. I use this for online school, however the battery life is not great, it's not meant for school. It's a really good computer. For anyone wondering if it is a touch screen.
👤I was skeptical of buying this because of some reviews that said the packing had no support in the box for transit purposes, and that the black screen on the screen was hard to see. I bought this as a gift and opened it to make sure everything was working, so no comment on battery life or performance just yet. Everything arrived in perfect condition, even though there was no bubble wrap in the box. Everything was very sharp from the beginning and seemed very good for the actual gaming. I am very happy with my laptop and know it will exceed my expectations. It's a good thing.
