👤The chair does not offer the proper back support for long-term seating. I bought this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he preferred sitting in a fabric chair. This chair is so hard to disassemble that it's the main reason I left this review. The locking mechanism of the chair's stem is meant to never break and is the first step in the assembly instructions. My boyfriend tried to disassemble it, I tried to take it apart, but the mechanism was locked out of place, and we watched how to take apart office chairs. The two bulkiest parts of the chair will not fit back into the box when it's time to return it. I tried to put it in a Home Depot box. Getting your money back on this item will be the biggest pain of your existence because this chair is impossible to re-pack. If you're thinking of buying this chair just to see if you like it, look elsewhere. If you don't know the exact chair you want, you should avoid this chair.

👤I was looking for a gaming chair that wouldn't have pleather and that would allow me to not worry about a mark or an easy scratch. We got a chair with a leg rest, and I found it unnecessary at first, but I've grown to like it and have been very comfortable in it. It was easy to set it up. The first time, I took about 30 minutes to make sure I was doing everything right and that everything was secure. If you try to get away quickly with one of the arm rests, it will fall off, so make sure you don't go super fast. The back support is not as strong as expected. If you prefer a preffered lean, you can lean back and lock it in place. It looks like a geometric heart from the back. Whenever I change my lean preference, the back piece falls off. If you're thinking about getting this chair, do it! It's really nice to look at, it isn't pleather, has a leg rest, and it's cheaper than normal gaming. I have had this chair for almost 5 months and I feel it's necessary to bring something up. The chair is nice and comfortable, but keep in mind that the screws can come loose very often. If you're moving around in the chair and getting on/off, you're going to have to take off the caps because the screws on the side loosen and it isn't sturdy. It's not your typical gaming chair as it is not as sturdy, but I feel like for your first chair or even just for something that looks nice, this one isn't terrible as it's way cheaper than the typical gaming chair.

👤I was looking for a new chair to replace an old one. The features that mattered to me were 1. For long periods of time, it's comfortable. 2. cloth and leather absorb sweat, but mesh gets really hot in California. 3. It's enough to rest in. 4. It can fit in any environment. This chair met all my requirements. Shipping was fast and came in a decent box. It was easy to setup. If you follow simple picture instructions, you can do this easily. I took less than 30 minutes to assemble the chair. The company was very fast to respond to my email after I had a small blemish on one of my arm wrests. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

2. AmazonBasics Puresoft PU Padded Mid Back Computer

AmazonBasics Puresoft PU Padded Mid Back Computer

The desk chair is comfortable and perfect for home or office use. The KD metal frame has dual-wheel casters. Assembly instructions were included. Measures 25.75 inches deep by 24.25 inches wide by 38.25 inches total height. There is a seat and a back. There is a seat and a back.

Brand: Amazon Basics

👤This chair has torn after a month of use. It was easy to assemble, and I enjoyed it for a while. I would like to return the product but can't ship it because of the Pandemic. I never write reviews but this purchase was a disappointment. Give me my money back or a new chair.

👤When I received the product in the box, the back rest was hollow. There was no padding after I removed the parts. I had to use a harbor freight moving blanket folded up and stuffed inside the back rest, which now makes it perfect. It's a good thing. You don't buy a desk chair that's hollow and thick like this, you buy something that's better. If you want to use the spare blanket as internal padding for the chair, you should only buy it. I stuffed the harbor freight blanket with a really nice chair and it was just 5 dollars.

👤It makes little sense to put the parts for assembly in the back of the chair. I noticed that one of the teeth on the zip top was missing after I opened the back. I thought I would try and deal with the zippers later. The chair was easy to assemble. It took a lot of work to get the zip up back together, and it will need a bit of glue to hold it together. It took weeks to get to me in the first place, so I didn't return the chair. I needed an office chair so I didn't want to wait for the exchange. Had hoped for a better experience.

👤I was a little worried about assembling this, but it was no problem for me. The instructions were easy to understand and the parts were in the back of the chair. I took note of how supportive and comfortable this chair is. Having a supportive chair is a must for me because I have to work from home for 9+ hours a day. I would recommend this chair.

👤There was an incorrect mount for the seat.

👤The chair I used for 3 weeks has a tear in the seat.

👤I decided to buy the AmazonBasics office chair after reading all of the reviews. It is very sturdy to sit in and it is light weight. After a few hours of sitting in it, it starts to feel hard. The seat height adjustment works well. While sitting at the computer, I lower the seat to put on my shoes and raise it again. There were some comments about the vinyl covering. It feels very soft. I don't know how long the covering will last. The AmazonBasics office chair is a good value. When installing the seat to the armrest, be careful. If you miss the hole while turning the screws, the threads will pull out the chair stuffing.

👤This is the most worthless purchase I have ever made. I am surprised that Amazon has a name for this product. It took me almost two hours to put this chair together, and it's terrible. The screws on the back of the chair are meant to go at a 95 degree angle to the seat, so they can't be changed. The chair does not tilt. The mechanism that is supposed to allow tilt doesn't matter if it's pushed in or pulled out. The knob that is supposed to control tension does nothing. The back of the chair is hollow. You are sitting on a piece of cloth. The chair comes off its wheels when lifted because the piston is held in place only by gravity. The back of the chair is half an inch wider than the armrests, which would cause stress on the screws, if the chair was usable. The chair is going to the dumpster since it's not usable. I am not going to wrestle with un-assembling it, repackaging it into its box, and getting it to a drop station for a return. I would rather throw it away and get the rest of the evening back.

3. LaZBoy CHR10048A Sutherland Manager Chair

LaZBoy CHR10048A Sutherland Manager Chair

The office chair has generous padding on the arms, seat, and back. LUMBAR SUPPORT Adding support during long working sessions is possible with a conjugated cushion. A modern touch is added to the design with diamond-quilted leather upholstery. It's great for any space. A nice complement to any area. The retractable and mobile are convenient. The retractable and mobile are convenient.

Brand: Lazboy

👤I am very happy with my new chair. I had a nicer chair than the cheap one. It is a quality product. My back and butt used to hurt when I worked from home, but now they are not as bad. The padding is very comfortable. It's great to have back support as well. If you want, you can recline it. It is made out of fabric and not leather, which was the main attraction for me, other than the brand name and look of the chair. Assembling it was easy. I don't know how to describe it, but it has a weird smell, I hope it goes away with time. I had it for 4 days and I look forward to work. I can sit in my chair. I have had the chair for about 8 months now and the weird smell I was talking about is gone. On day one, I found my chair to be very comfortable. I still work from home full time and I use it quite a bit. I don't look forward to work anymore.

👤I love it so far, after a week of use. I went to a lot of retail stores and sat on many, I needed a seat with a lot of cushion that didn't feel like I was sliding off. It's fabric isn't faux leather or real leather, there is a slight smell to it, so rubbed fabric sheets on it and it smells great now. The husband put it together in 25 minutes. I was worried that it might have gotten damaged in the delivery process, since it's a heavy chair and one of the legs was sticking out of the box, but I saw the delivery and it was fine. I think he used that corner to carry it. It's large and heavy. I used to only be able to sit for 2 hours. I work from home. I can sit for 8 hours. I am so heavy that this supports me. If the seat cushion starts to cave in, I will update over time.

👤The chair is nice, but not as good as I had expected from the LaZBoy brand. The back rest feels worn and the wheels feel cheap. The look is nice and the seat cushion is supportive. The price of this chair is something I am concerned about. The cloth cream-colored version cost around $240 at the time. The price went up to $340 for the same version after I ordered it. The black leather version of the chair is currently listed at a crazy $699. This chair is barely worth $150.

👤Have you ever wanted to be hugged? Is it really a hug? Maybe it was by a cloud of love and support. Do you want to be reassured and cared for every time you sit down? Are you looking for support that you never received? Well. You can have that with this chair. It's seriously. My mother's chair was sitting sideways when I bought it for her. She wanted me to try it out because she loved it so much. I did not want to get up. I tried to buy myself one, but it was out of stock. If the baby pops up again, buy it. Buy two. Buy them all. Just buy it. Maybe not all of them. I bought myself one. The box was very damaged when it came back with rust. The chair is not ok. Especially when you are paying a lot.

4. Serta Health Wellness Executive Office

Serta Health Wellness Executive Office

The desk chair is professional and comfortable. The air lumbar technology. When you move to provide back support, the cushions pivot. Executive style. The leather has contrast stitching. The frame is made of wood. All day long. Convenient height and tilt adjustments can be made with seat-side cable-actuated levers. It's easy to move around with multi-surface, dual-wheel designer casters. It's easy to move around with multi-surface, dual-wheel designer casters.

Brand: Serta

👤I ordered this one because of an upper back problem. I ordered the real Serta because my coworker has it. The chair is comfortable. The real Serta was perfect for my neck, so I ordered it for neck support. I compared it to a coworker's chair. This chair doesn't say Serta. The instructions do not say Serta. It is completely different. I bought the real thing after selling it to someone.

👤The product failed 6 months after purchase. I would not use this chair. I think this chair is better for shorter people, but I still found it comfortable. My last office chair lasted for several years, so I am not hard on these things. I like to sit in my chair. The arm rest is designed to lean back, but it fractured in one area and was showing a stressFracture in another area. If you like to lean back, I would not seat you in this chair. The plastic is cheap and weak. The arm rest is on back order. This isn't an isolated incident.

👤The Serta chair is a light grey Bonded Leather/Mesh Air Executive Chair with a full name on it. I don't see many chairs in this style. It was the same as the rest of my PC/desk setup. The seat is comfortable. Lumbar support is good. It makes me sit straight. The casters were easy to put in. I had to use force with two of them. They roll on the carpet. The paint of the armrests is easy to scratch. I scratched it while installing it. The black plastic caps don't fit well. The plastic inserts don't fit well. It makes the chair look cheap. I will provide images. It's not noticeable from a distance. My feet are not able to touch the ground at the lowest setting. It is to be expected. The back is a little high for me. I prefer a couple inches shorter so that I can tilt my head back to rest rather than getting blocked by the seat. I should have realized that I should look into "mid-back chairs". The top area is too firm. I like it to be squishy. Another reviewer said to remove foam or cardboard behind the head and shoulder. It is said that the last step is assembly. If you come across any issues, you should contact True Innovations. I will give you images.

👤I was hoping to get a Serta brand chair, but it doesn't look like a picture or video, and I am disappointed. The leather and cloth parts were damaged and the metal parts were not fastened properly. The product had a very stinky smell and was poorly made and lacking in quality. Sad! I will be returning the product.

👤I noticed that the name "Serta" wasn't on the chair when I received it. Not in the manual. The manual has a number that is not Serta. I took it a step further. I called Serta. They sent me to a company that makes chairs that Serta puts their name on. Serta makes mattresses not chairs. I called the True Innovations number and went to their website. The site has nice chairs, but this model is not pictured. I was on hold for 44 minutes and when I got to 1 it hung up on me. I'm done. I don't trust chairs. I sat on it and the chair collapsed under my weight. The seat is filled with air. It is very hard and smooshes down. Going back. You can skip this listing.

Brand: Noblewell

👤I bought this chair in October of 2020 but have not used it for 6 months. This review is more than a first impressions review. The butt pad is ok and the back mesh isn't terrible. That's all. I will start from the bottom and work my way up here. * The chair is not parallel to the floor because the post is not square to the wheels. The chair feels like it is leaning in a certain direction because of the orientation of the wheels. The butt part of the chair is not very comfortable over time. If the wheels are in the wrong direction, it can make you feel like you are hunched forward with all your weight on the backs of your knees. * The two arms can't be set to the same height because they have different settings on each side. There is a The reclining feature doesn't grab well, so after you adjust it to any position and lean back, it makes a loud pop before grabbing the back and stopping the movement. If I lean back, the post that holds the back will bend because it is just a pipe that is flatted at one end and welded to the back plate so the flatted end just bends easily. A stupid design. 3 of the 4 threaded inserts in the back panel were pulled out after a month or two of sitting in the chair. I spent a lot of money on a chair and it's too late to send it back, so mine is now just appended to the back panel's post. The post is slightly bent or out of line with the base. The back is tilted to the right. Pros: None. Nothing is aligned properly because of the build quality. I didn't recline it at all or notice the weak back post until it was too late to return. I would have returned it before the inserts came out. The reclining function is getting worse but I don't think the bending back post will last. It's the same thing. I would have liked to have spent my money on another chair. From my mistake, learn. The chair is not clean.

👤The head rest is the only thing I don't like about this chair. The headrest is too far back to be useful. It's too far back for normal use and I'll use it for a moment when I lean back and rest. This chair is great. I wish you could move the arm rests sideways, but they're good for most of the time. It has a very comfortable back support. The chair is easy to recline in, but you can lock it with the arm. I locked it up because I wanted it to recline backwards, but I would have to hold myself up for it not to do that. We have a thicker carpet that is easy to roll on. The chair is on the highest setting. I have it a little lower than that because I'm a tall guy. I am happy with the purchase and thinking about buying another one because the wife keeps stealing it. Will update if there are long-term issues. The chair is very comfortable, it has a locking recline position, and the headrest is useless when the chair is at its highest position.

Brand: Duramont

👤This chair is for sale. I'm trying to be as concise as possible and not rant about how much I love this chair. I'm going to thoroughly review this marvel of modern engineering. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 6 foot tall 250 pound military member with previous surgery on L5S1 which has left me with nerve pain every day of my life as well as problems on three other levels of my spine. The chairs aren't designed to seat a person of my stature and won't last very long. I need a chair that's sturdy and easy to use. I was overjoyed when the box arrived, but I was unable to lift it into my apartment. The box's weight was the first thing I noticed. I was reassured that I bought quality. The Hardware was of good quality. The chair needed double the hardware to be assembled. Extra hardware is something I love. The instructions were easy to understand and the chair was built in minutes. The way adjustments were engineered into the chair was something that I really appreciated. You can adjust the arm rests while assembling. The arm rests will only adjust once the bolts are tightened. The chairs construction has an adjustment built into it that keeps the distance from the seat to the back rest. I was happy to see that it is a feature on higher end chairs, and it is usually only a feature on higher end chairs. The roller blade wheels are amazing. My apartment has tile floor and my old chair was difficult to move, often getting tiny wheels stuck in the grooves of the tile. It made navigating the chasms of my room very difficult. I can glide from one end of the room to the other with these rollerblade wheels. I love it. The mesh is very comfortable. The support for the back is amazing. I almost fell asleep when I sat in this. The lever that allows the chair to tilt back or sit straight up is the kind of lever that you push down or pull up. This is great because some chairs have a lever that you slide horizontally on. When you sit in your chair, the lever on the bar pops out, and the char sends you backwards. I have ended up on the ground as a result of this at least fifty or sixty times. The seat back lever is designed to prevent this from happening. I needed to write this review as soon as I sat down because the chair was so comfortable. My back feels better and my nerve pain is reduced. I was sitting on a broken chair for over a year and a half until I realized the amount of pain I was in. If the chair fails over time, I will update this review.

👤I recently started working from home 4 days a week and needed a good chair. Being only 5' tall, I'm always nervous about the fit of chairs. For one thing, the headrest. Most of the headrests are too high for me. I was surprised to find that this one fits me perfectly when lowered all the way. It also adjusts higher for those of you who are not vertically challenged. I love that it adjusts up and down, and also adjusts the angle of it, so it fits just right. If you're mostly using this to work, like I am, the headrest may not matter, as I'm usually sitting up straight. It's nice when I want to back off. Lower back issues can be a nightmare if there is no support. It's great, and really extends quite a ways in, also good when you're short and can't sit as deep into a seat. I wish the depth of the seat was adjusted. You can't change that or move it in and out, but you can use the support of the back to help with that. The height of the seat is something I wish could be adjusted a bit more. While sitting all the way back, the balls of my feet rest on the floor, but not my full foot. I'm usually barefoot when I'm at home. It would probably be fine if I had a slight heel on. I wish I could lower the seat by a millimeter. The wheels don't roll very easily on carpet unless they are at the right angle, like a shopping cart has to have its wheels just right, but if I get a protective mat, which I probably should anyway, it would move much more easily. I haven't found it to be a big deal on carpet because it glides across hard floors with no issue. It was easy to put together. I'm very pleased with the price and the chair is great for all heights.

Brand: Lucklife

👤I bought a chair for my office. I was sold on the reviews that showed picture proof, and so I decided not to. I wanted a chair that was simple but not too fancy, but something that would work for the meantime. It was easy to assemble, I would say about 15 minutes. The lever works perfectly. I can see this chair being used for a while.

👤The chair is pretty good, I have been using it for a while. It was very easy to install and I didn't have to think about how to put it all together. It is ok for me to use it in my office. I like the color white and it feels like insta style. There is no quality problem so far. The desk is a nice match for the height.

👤I was very excited for the new office chair to arrive, however I was disappointed. The chair was difficult to assemble, it took 2 people and the arms were difficult to align. The chair's highest height is low, even though it is adjusted. The chair made loud noises with every move within the first week. I was going to spray some WD40 on the hydraulics to see if that would help, but it was already oiled when I got it.

👤I bought this chair to see how it would fit in my room which is black and white. I was amazed by the back support it was great for people like me. The chair is easy to assemble, but I had trouble mixing up the screws at first, but it is quick and you only need 12 screws to make the chair ready for use. The only way to make this chair better is to push the armrest forward or back.

👤I bet the reviews are not real because they said this chair was great. Don't buy this chair, it will be returned. The chair causes back and butt pain when it tips forward. No one likes to sit tilted forward. Couldn't use it for more than a few days.

👤The first one went together fairly easily, if I had not thrown the boxes, I would have returned them both. The second one wasn't much. It was manageable. The chairs were too high. I'm left reaching up to my desk because they are not very high. It's not a huge amount, but it's annoying for someone with an injured arm. It becomes very painful. The idea was to be more comfortable, but that has not happened. Don't get this chair if you need a height adjustment.

👤I wanted to love this chair. $110 for something? The left arm rest didn't come in the box, so I can't use it or attach the back. It was a disappointment. If the seller can make this right and send me the missing part, I will update my review.

👤Because it's not good. I can't get a replacement because I live far away from a ups drop. They will charge me for the replacement. Be careful, buyer!

Brand: Hon

👤I am returning the chair today since I still need to buy a chair, but I thought I would spend an hour or so in it. I know what to look for, but I couldn't make it 20 minutes in this thing. You could find oil paintings of this chair from a medieval dungeon. I found myself lurching forward without any back support. The support for the lower back is a joke. I thought the chair had a few design flaws, but the whole thing needs to be scrapped. How can you make a chair that is so bad? How are you doing in business? Is it because so many people return these heaps that you have to keep overpricing them to stay in business? If you are going to try this chair, be sure to keep a bottle of Advil on your desk because it is fairly comfortable. There are some design issues. The height adjustment doesn't lower far enough and neither does the lumbar system. The amount of support depends on the height at which it is adjusted. The height adjustment of the arms takes more time than it should and the action feels cheap and rigid. HON is the biggest problem with this chair. Thank you for the multiple pictures and musically scored video, but how about the dimensions? I had to go to HON's website to find the chair dimensions, but they couldn't even tell me the back of the chair's dimensions. The chairs are listed as "mid back" or "high back", but they don't give dimensions for the back. I couldn't find any information on the actual height of the back of the chair, they are known primarily as an office chair company, they have numerous models, designs, etc and I couldn't find any information on the actual height of the back of the chair. The back of the chair is not tall enough. This has resulted in a huge waste of time, as I would not have ordered this model. I don't know what I'm getting so I'm not ordering any more HON chairs. They don't show pics of a model in a chair with a height and weight reference. How hard is it to make a measurement? This chair is a huge disappointment.

👤My mom always said I'm not good at many things, but I am good at sitting. I consider myself to be a chair enthusiast and am a bit of an expert in the subject. A seat that is very good. A boss. Let me be your sedentary friend and share with you my thoughts on this chair from HON. There are pros and cons. The stretchy backrest helps you avoid nasty back sweat. The added structure for your lower back could be better. I added an extra memory foam cushion for added comfort, but the foam seat bottom is still comfortable for those of us not gifted in the area. The seat can be locked into position, the recline tension can be locked into position, the armrest height can be adjusted, and the back angle can be adjusted. Casters are easy to move around with. Changing the caster out to urethane rollerblade wheels is not included, so you may want to consider a rug or mat to protect hard flooring. The materials and design are attractive and can be used at home or work. It is easy to clean and should age well, but be careful with sharp objects around the mesh seatback material. Time will tell if the foam seat cushion will flatten or if the stretchy mesh will lose its springiness. The chair designs that HON so blatantly borrows from are a bit pricey. There are pieces in the box that can damage the mesh seat back or the plastic pieces. I added a foam cushion between the mesh back and the lumbar support for added support. Plastic legs have been found to snap according to online reviews. Be aware of the weight limit. I have not had any issues of my own. The first chair I received had a portion of the mesh on the seat back damaged, but there was no visible damage to the plastic in which the seat back was enclosed. The damage was likely there when the chair was packaged. I had to send the original one back and have a new one shipped to me because I couldn't get a replacement back. This was not an additional cost to me, but it took another week. If you're looking for a smart alternative to the Herman Miller Aeron chair that won't require you to get a second mortgage on your house, then definitely give the HON Ignition 2.0 a look. There are cheaper options out there, but for me, this chair struck a good balance between design, material quality, and price. You can try out the fit and feel for yourself with Amazon's return policy. Make sure you check the quality of the parts before you start assembling the chair.

Brand: Modway

👤It wasn't the chair itself that was the issue, it was missing a couple of necessary parts to assemble the chair, and a couple of small hardware items. It looked like it was what I needed in a work chair, and it was well packaged. The company and its employees did not give me any courtesy in the process of receiving the replacement parts. The customer keeps you in business. If you keep them happy, they will write great reviews for your product and purchase again. Nope. Uh...nope. I was told by their customer service rep that they were taking my information down, but after spelling out the whole story, I was told to go to their website and file a claim. The flag is red. You have so many calls that you have to have a claim link on your website? I started filling out their claim, only to find out they wanted a full copy of the receipt. How do I find it? What size of file is acceptable? Had I been given clear instructions by their CSR, I would not have objected to the return of the chair or the review. There is no place on their website to find the full receipt, no instructions as to where one can find it, and no accepted file type, size limitation, or instructions as to where one can find it. I had to change the size of my jpeg 4 times. I had to take a picture of my receipt and email it to myself, then I had to resizing it on another computer so I could load it on my phone. The image was so small that I couldn't read it. It went through. I waited almost 3 days to get a response that was not helpful. There was no way to attach the required receipt to the claim I had filed. Click here and print the receipt. Since the receipt is a document, I had to refill out the required information and load the document back at the site. A PDF is accepted everywhere, it's a small file size, universal document, and every site but this one. The average consumer is not going to have the knowledge base or expensive programs to turn a PDF into an image and then resizing it to be accepted by their site. I had to re-enter the claim info after my upload was rejected. By this time, my patient temperament was hanging by a thread and I was done. The chair went back in the box because of poor customer service. I was assisted with the return of the chair, provided a call tag, and super prompt in their refund by Amazon. They could teach Modway a few things. There are two different Modway locations with different phone numbers. They are both on eastern time, so it doesn't matter which one you call. Another way to do business. I will never order anything from Modway again, no matter how good the deal is or how good the price is. Ever. I will not recommend them to anyone.

10. AmazonBasics Mid Back Office Chair Armrests

AmazonBasics Mid Back Office Chair Armrests

The mesh back of the office chair makes it comfortable. The seat has pneumatic seat-height adjustment. The maximum weight capacity of the 5-point base is 275 pounds. There is a user manual with assembly instructions. The chair is 25.2 x 24 x 38.6 inches. The chair is 25.2 x 24 x 38.6 inches.

Brand: Amazon Basics

👤I bought one of these chairs in August of last year and it has been great, but the seat has begun to wear. I ordered a new one in September. It looks the same, but it is a cheap version that is too uncomfortable to sit in. The metals posts that support the back are shorter, the back now needs to be screwed on, the mesh is rougher, and the wheels don't fit flush to the base. I would have packaged it all up to return already, but the shaft is stuck in the chair and I need a second person to help me pull it apart. I'll think twice before buying another piece of furniture from Amazon, it's disappointing on every level.

👤The chair is very uncomfortable. The lower frame of the backrest is the first part to hit my back. I need a pillow to help bridge the gap if I want to use the back without the bar pressing into my back. The chair is assembled correctly but there is no way to adjust the angle of the back.

👤The people who wrote the reviews were correct. The arms are too short to be useful. They don't adjust. I am a small person. My husband shouldn't be sitting in this chair because it's my chair, I got it for me, so it's fine. I think that's a win. I think it's really comfortable, considering how cheap it was. It was easy to assemble and looks nice. It seems durable. I've been working in this chair for a long time and haven't had a backache.

👤This review is based on the long term results since the comfort has changed since I first put it together. The cushion used to be 20% thicker in the places I most frequently sit. My butt gets tired and my back starts to ache as I am rotating positions. The armrests are hard plastic and would like to see softer material used. I think back support is the highlight because of the awkward positions necessitated from below, despite my back feeling sore on occasion. The chair is available for a great price, but I'm already shopping around. I think you get what you pay for, and I will upgrade you.

👤I like this chair for its price. Assembly was easy. All parts were labeled. The assembly instruction booklet couldn't have been simpler if someone had packaged the parts. A rarity. I like the cushion to be medium firmness and comfortable. I would have paid more if the arm height was adjusted or if the chair could be lifted out of the way. If I am just sitting back, relaxing in the chair, my wrists rest on the armrest, it's better than nothing because the fixed arms are about an inch too low. The chair's height was important to me. I took my own measurements after putting the chair together because it was hard to find accurate ones. I hope someone else finds it useful. The seat is deep. At the lowest setting, the seat height is 17.75" and at the highest, it is 22.25". When you sit in it, the seat height is about 7/16" The seat is rounded in the front, making it difficult to measure the height. I put a thin piece of cardboard on the seat and put a quart sized paint can on top so it wouldn't float. I measured from the floor to the bottom of the cardboard. Some pictures were posted. They are the correct way on my computer and I did not put them up on Amazon. The floor to top of arm height is 23 5/8" at the lowest seat height and 28 3/8" at the highest seat height. To see if it will roll under the desk. The arm rest is curved so it is difficult to measure. The middle of the arm rest was measured. The fixed arm height is 6.25" from the top of the seat to the top of the arm. Many reviewers complained that the metal back bar frame was too close to the seat plate during assembly of the back rest. The assembly instructions state that the metal back bar frame will overlap on the seat plate, so they must have updated them. The back bar will overlap the seat plate when aligning to holes. This is not a design flaw but intentional. I am very happy with the chair. I use it for about 4-5 hours a day. It is holding up well after 3 months.

👤I hunted and searched. I work at home, but I always did. I paint at the other end of my desk. I can log hours in a chair. I wanted comfort and good support, but also a good aesthetic. The last desk chair I bought was beautiful, but turned out to be a torture device. I received it quickly. It arrived a few days after it was ordered. My husband is out of town when it arrives, but I am not a patient person. So my 11 year old. I decided to try and put it together after we brought it in. I was worried because the thing was heavy and many reviewers said assembly was hard. I'm happy to say that for us, it seemed pretty standard issue desk chair assembly, the only issue being that we initially put a part on backwards and had to correct it. That is just my spacey self and my I'm-not-sure-he-has-ears kid trying to work together. We are ready to try her out, it seems all the parts are in their appropriate places. The raising and lowering mechanism works well and the wheels roll on my tile floors. The pop out back support is a technical term. It's perfect at about 2 clicks. I am very happy with this chair.

👤I have been sitting in this chair for two months and would not recommend it. The feature for supporting the back is too low and silly to use. The seat tilts forward and becomes very uncomfortable after an hour or so. My back and legs are sore by the end of the day, because I am constantly adjusting myself. I have always worked a desk job, so this is definitely a chair issue. The instructions for this chair were very vague. Make sure to have a partner with you. The arms and legs are made of cheap painted silver plastic material, but the seat fabric is very comfortable and appears good quality. The arms should be adjusted for this price. They sit very high for me. They sit in a mid rib cage. You can find a nicer chair for $200.

👤1. Shipping is fast with good packaging. 2. Premium, soft, but supportable. 3. Installation is easy and quick. Two people are going to be fast. 4. 5 levels of support, height adjustment, and flip armrests are included. 5. The max weight capacity is 6. You will get a 5 year warranty.

👤I'm large, 6' 0" and 300 lbs. The price, width of seat, and lack of supports under the arms made me pick this chair. I've been working from home for the past year and I've been sitting in this chair a lot since I bought it. Sometimes I wish it had more padding on the seat, but a seat cushion will fix that. I don't have a problem with being too wide for the chair or rubbing my legs on the arms. The strength of the arms is surprising to me. I had a knee replacement just before I bought the chair, so I am dealing with two sore knees. When I get up from the chair, I put my full weight on the chair arms to stand. I've been surprised that I haven't seen the arms give out because of the pressure I put on them. I think about it when I stand up. I don't think they are getting weakened by my abuse.
