A built-in standard DC 5Vusb output port for charging mobile devices, such as smart phones, can be used as an emergency mobile battery charger. A 5-LED reading lamp is one of the safety features. Tenergy's multifunctional weather radio is a must-have tool during disasters such as power outages, hurricanes, or earthquakes; built-in tools such as led flashlight, SOS siren, and radio frequencies like AM, FM, and WM are critical. The built-in 2000mAh battery can be charged by generating energy with the hand crank or solar panel, or through other power sources, such as the includedAAA batteries or a power source. The emergency flash lights illuminate the dark with two lights that can shine up to 120 lumens, or the emergency light and sirens which flash the word "SORRY" in a Morse code to alert others to accidents or urgent situations. The built-in li-ion battery in this weather alert radio can double as a renewable power source for cell phones and electronics when fully charged. Tenergy's 1 year warranty and lifetime support with local support are included in this.
👤I haven't found anything that I dislike. This radio is small and portable. It has a flashlight, a floodlight, and four ways to pay. It's small and light, and comes in a case. I am happy I didn't go for a cheaper radio.
👤We wanted to test it out before an emergency. The Triple A batteries that were supplied with the device were loaded up and I had to hook up my phone to it. The blue light that showed the device was working was off after 5 minutes. We removed the batteries and allowed the device to cool after we loaded the new batteries. I timed how long this set of batteries would last. The answer was 29 minutes. We tried the hand crank for 5 minutes and didn't gain anymore of a charge after that. We will try the solar charge tomorrow and see what happens, but I don't expect much and will return this. In the event of an emergency 3 batteries for 29 minutes will get you a 7% charge which is enough to get a call off, but in the event of a long term power outage, this isn't sustainable.
👤It has a place to charge my phone and has other additions. It's good for emergencies as it picks up the stations better than one I've purchased before. It takes a long time to get power from the crank. I'm keeping it handy. It comes with batteries and a light for searching. It takes hours to get a refill and I do it on my computer.
👤I bought this Tenergy to have a source of power to charge my cell phone during a power outage. The fact that the product could be charged multiple times was a selling point. I connected to the Tenergy by cell phone after it was fully charged. The cell was down to 70% and the energy took an hour to get it back to 100%, this was acceptable to me. The Tenergy was turned on the next day to check the status of the battery and it was still fully charged. The hand crank, solar charge, andAAA batteries were not used, so a total 5 star rating was not given. It is recommended that the Tenergy battery be fully charged when put away and that it be checked occasionally for the status and if necessary charged so that it will be fully charged when the time comes for use. The battery is fully charged. The battery is down to 3 bars. I will bring it back to 4 bars. I received an e-mail asking if the radio has short wave reception. The manual doesn't say if WB is the same as shortwave, but the radio has AM, FM and WB-weather Bands.
👤It was very hard to tune into a station because it had to play a lot in the tuner. It's well put together and sturdy. This issue needs to be addressed. I bought a digital one.
👤The emergency radio is nice. It's a perfect addition to my bag.
Tenergy's 1 year warranty and lifetime support with local support are included in this. The strongest solar radio. The solar charging speed is 10 times that of a normal emergency radio, so it is an indispensable equipment in your emergency supplies. The Brightest Emergency Radio has a button that can make a loud sound to attract people attention. It's the most important gear for camping. The 5000mAh portable power bank can be charged up to 3000 times and can be used for 2 hours. It's an essential part of your survival gear. You can receive the latest weather and hazard information on disasters related to hurricanes, snowstorms, wildfires, floods, earthquakes via this weather broadcast. The best way to help in the case of emergency power failure is to use a hand crank radio.
👤This is not an Audiophile device and that is perfectly fine as that is not the intended purpose. The speaker and audio quality is not great. The 5000mAh battery has a decent amount of power to give hours of bright light from the various LEDs lamps, give hours of emergency or weather radio reception, or top off your cell phone. The audio quality of many inexpensive "pocket radios" is good, but it is not adequate for emergency news and weather. I knocked off a star for that, but it isn't the greatest, and probably would have increased the price a bit - a fair tradeoff. The fold-out solar cell is larger in surface area than most single cells on other radios, so it can be used to charge its battery in a reasonable amount of time. That is what you really need from such a device in an emergency where there is no other power source. It would take more than a full day for a single small cell radio to be charged. It is a reliable go-to device when you need it. It won't change your life, but it may be a lifesaver when you need it the most.
👤The emergency radio works. It can be charged with a hand crank, batteries or a plug. During the last winter storm, I used it. The house was blacked out after a few trees fell over our power lines. I pulled out the Emergency Radio to listen to music and get the weather updates when internet and cable were down. The Emergency Radio has a flashlight with two settings that was useful for getting around the house and cooking on the gas stove. The device has a power meter that you can use to monitor the battery life. I like to keep the battery charged until our electricity came back on.
👤I was impressed by the two radios I received. It's larger than most solar panels. When AC power is not available, you can use solar, but it will take all day and part of another day to get the radios charged. AC power was used to finish the recharging. The NOAA Weather Radio station, light, strobe, am/fm radio, hand crank, siren, ambiant red light, and other things are all great. Radios kept their charge for a while. I love them! So far, so good!
👤I like this little thing. The lights are bright and can be charged in many different ways. The speaker quality isn't going to impress anyone, but that's not what this type of radio is made for. I intended to use it as a camping/fishing radio, but I have been using it as a work light around the house. I would buy it again.
👤On December 11, there were 3 tornadoes that came through our town of Bowling Green. I have been looking at these weather radios for a while and I wish I would have had them. I didn't know what was happening outside during the storm because the power was out for a week. I did not have a radio or cell service. I stayed awake until 5am when I saw the first responders. Absolutely devastating. The houses were destroyed by their neighbors. I only had trees that were down. For Christmas, I bought 4 of these for my family. On New Years Day, a tornado hit our town, and my family was thrilled to have these as backup batteries for their weather radio. Thanks!

👤I like it. The use of 3 TripleAAA batteries is nice. The NiCad battery is charged with theusb. There is also Solar and Crank. Better made and larger than some of the other models on Amazon. This will be useful the next time there is a power outage. The Weather Band is useful when you need it. The reading light is nice. Hurricane Matthew is an update! There was no power for 5 days. The radio was a lifesaver.
👤This little guy is the best weather radio I have ever owned. It can power with solar, batteries or crank. It picks up the radio signals. The weather channel is clear. It has a loud panic alarm, and it has a flashlight. There is a reader behind the solar panel. You can use it to charge your phone. It is a good looking radio. The feel is very soft. The item is very well made. I really do. Love. This is the radio! I would recommend it to anyone who wants an inexpensive emergency radio that does that job, because I am so pleased with it. There are a lot of good things about this.
👤There is a big drive in movie addiction here. We hit it once a week from opening weekend until last weekend. In the last eight years, I have been very harsh on my car batteries and alternators. The voice of reason whispered in my ear and said "hey maybe you should get a radio instead of using the car". Excellent! I searched for one, months and months. I'm not dealing with that because boom boxes and portable music players all need "D" batteries. I looked at other types from related searches. The sports radios had the right battery size, but it seemed too small for movie sound. I knew the sound would be right, I have one of those in my garage, they had the right size battery, so what is stopping me? I don't want to deal with another device that needs batteries, probably weekly or bi weekly, with my usage, so I don't want to. I look in every month to see if anything catches my attention. There are solar powered speakers, right batteries, and a manual hand crank. At drive in, had been solar charging all week. It's perfect sound can be heard in 2 movies without an issue. It doesn't turn on after the second week. I know it was already in the position. My youngest said that he wanted to see how it worked. It's okay. I forgot to put some extra batteries in the car, so we're going to have to crank it. We are cranking and passing for 30 minutes. It almost got through the first movie before it died. The sound gets softer. I was able to crank it after we watched it.
👤One trip to the outdoors and a piece of plastic was warped and came away from the product because it was in the sun. This is not acceptable because it's solar powered. Everything else worked.
The power bank will keep the power on. The power bank in the emergency radio can provide emergency power to any small device. The emergency weather radio has 3 power sources that you can use when you need a boost of power or a refill. The radio's crank lever and solar panel are both capable of regenerating enough power to keep the radio, lights, and alarm ready to go when you need it most. When you can't regenerate power, you needAAA batteries. There are always power sources. Light can be provided by the emergency crank radio. If you and your loved ones are in an emergency situation, the 1W flashlight and 4 LEDs reading light will keep you out of the dark. The radio will get up to the second emergency weather forecasts and emergency news broadcasts from the National Weather Service. A limited lifetime warranty is included. Please visit the website for more information.
👤We lost all power when Hurricane Florence came into North Carolina and couldn't even use the generators for a few days. Local radio reports that during that time, we kept our phones charged in hopes of getting cell service and light back, and that the little hand crank radio was our main source of weather information. I must have turned that crank a million times, but it never failed us, and when it was all over, it went into the emergency supplies to be ready for the next one.
👤My husband received this as a Christmas gift. I should've researched it better, but we discovered there was no jack on the unit. There is no way to listen to the radio in private. The second disappointment is that when you tip up the solar panel, the light panel underneath it turns on. The solar charging purpose is defeated by totaly. There is no way to turn off the light panel. It turns on when tilted up and off when laid flat. The radio and flashlight work well. It is early to know how durable the unit will be.
👤I was sleeping when this device caught on fire.
👤You need to have a weather radio that is on all the time in order to get notifications. Apparently, this one. If you live in a part of the country where the weather is unpredictable, you should be used to hearing the drone of the National Weather Service all the time. Nope. This device has a lot of useful things, like a solar panel, but it really falls down on its main purpose, which is to sit in silence until there is a weather alert. Sending it back. No instructions come with it. The on-line manual is sub-par. My calls were dropped by the customer service line. I'm in the middle of a dangerous storm pattern and I'm annoyed and disappointed by this product.
👤One of the larger battery backups is available for it's size, about the size of your hand. The solar panel has a charging light. The crank handle is unlikely to break in use. The radio reception was good. Not all weather radios have sirens and red lights. You may get different prices for this radio because it is marketed by more than one seller.
👤If you're working on a small budget bug out bag, this is a good thing. The radio has a battery that can be charged by crank or solar power. One of the lights is bright, but the other is decent. The radio can connect to local weather broadcasts and AM or FM radio, for $20, which is pretty good. This little thing is for twenty bucks and can charge a variety of devices. This would be great for a bug out bag, or even hiking and camping, because it also has an emergency mode. If you get separated from a group, you can emit a loud sirens and flash a red light.
👤This was purchased for a trip to Philmont. The unit never worked. At one point, the scouts took turns cranking it. It's complete waste of money. The unit is light and flimsy. It was impossible to charge anything with it. It wouldn't hold a charge, so it couldn't be used for the radio. Customer service was a joke, argued with me that there were so many other "neat" specifications on this piece of junk that I should have been happy to just put batteries in it and enjoy the radio. Great. I paid almost 40 bucks for a radio. It was a disappointment. It was too late to send back the item my kid got back from the camping trip. Customer support was not good. Do. Not. Buy. I went to Walmart to get one. We did that for our first Scout who went to Philmont. It at least worked. It worked well. We tried to save money with this thing. I only gave it one star because you have to write a review. 5 stars for this piece of junk.
There is no risk for your purchase. Your voice makes them the best. The emergency weather radio has an 18-month warranty. They will give you a solution if you don't like the weather radio. The weather radio comes with a Li-ion battery that can charge more than one cellphone, and it will power off when it's not needed. It's essential for emergencies, back out or power failure, it works not only as a weather radio, but also an emergency cellphone charge, a handy outdoor camping 3W flashlight or 2.5W reading light. You can emit a loud siren and flash a red light if you use the SOS alarm. The lock button on the newest model is designed to make sure you don't accidentally change your settings.
👤I was given a radio by the vendor hoping I would write a review. This is an honest review. The radio is 7 inches wide and 3 inches deep and has an antenna that is secured and retracted. The tuning knob is stiff, making tuning difficult. The speaker is small. It doesn't give you a high fidelity sound, but you can hear voice communication and music. A residential room has a lot of volume. I am in a small bedroom listening to a country radio station with the volume turned to 25% of the dial rotation and it is louder than a face to face communication. I pick up lots of stations on AM radio. It was difficult to tune any station as it was difficult to not be interfered with by an adjacent station. I don't listen to a lot of AM radio so I can't give a good evaluation of this function. The radio seems to listen to our local stations. It was clear that the local stations were good enough, even though it seemed a little difficult to tune in. The dial is not very accurate as there are no graduation marks on it, but the frequencies are written on about every 4 Mhz, so it was possible to find the desired station. SW radio. I wasn't able to get many clear stations. I didn't listen to it because it was in English, my only language. WB radio The weather band does not need to be adjusted. There is a switch to choose one of the weather bands. I only received the seventh station. It worked well. I understood the information being received. There are many ways for the device to be powered: built in a Li-ion battery, disposable batteries, crank, solar, and microusb. There is a switch to switch between the li-ion power source and theAAA batteries. I haven't tried anything yet, but the li-ion power source is. The other three power sources are connected to the li-ion batteries and can be used to power the radio. I believe it powers its type Ausb port so you can charge your phone or whatever from its internal battery. I don't know if it powers the battery. There is a flashlight beam on one end of the radio and a reading light behind the solar panel. There is an emergency function that emits a very bright red led and a siren sound. It is loud in a small room. It had a small carabiner and a small compass on it. Is this something I would buy? I live in Florida. I would buy this radio as part of my Hurricane Preparedness because I believe it would come in handy if we lost power. You might take it with you on a camping trip. I have not evaluated the value of this device compared to any of the other ones, so I can't say it's a good deal.
👤With the coronaviruses on the loose, I decided my house needed a nice solar radio. I don't think the coronaviruses will kill our electric, but you never know when you need a radio anyways, so good as any to get one. It seems very durable after I tested it. There are 4 ways to power it: batteries (yours), solar to charge the internal 2000 mAh, crank to charge the internal 2000 mAh, and charging with miniusb. It's always good to have the ability to charge the radio under a variety of circumstances. It has a good flashlight, a good compass, a good radio, and an excellent and very loud sound. I bought a second for my car because I liked it so much. So. You could say that I like this radio.

👤This device is amazing. It does everything it claims to do. The hand crank is easy to use and effective because there is almost no tension. The solar panel can be used to charge the device, and when you lift it up, it becomes a very strong beacon of light. Awesome feature! The light has an optional sensor that turns it on when it senses movement. The batteries can be charged using a wall outlet and a cable. Radio: no static! The weather band works well. The radio stations near me are great. Considering the size of this powerful unit, the sound is pretty darn good. The antenna is easy to use and tune into. The alarm is so important. The alarm is loud and clear that you're in trouble. The power status light is easy to see and understand. You can crank to 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%. I have a cell phone and the cord that comes with the light doesn't fit it. I use my own cord. The picture in the description is correct. I am very happy with the power house of an emergency light and radio.
👤I asked for Made in USA. The box says it's made in China. Don't be deceived. Wonder what other items are not.
👤The emergency radio is amazing. It picks up all of the radio channels. This radio has a Weather Broadcast option so you don't have to waste time searching for it on the AM station. After a minute or so, the hand crank charges the radio and the flashlight is bright.
👤It does what it says. I don't use it often because I think it's just something I need in case of an emergency. There are two things I have noticed with my unit. The blue battery level lights are not consistent. I was playing the radio with all the lights on. It showed 3 when turned on the light. The radio came back on after everything was turned off. The battery lights seem to wipe out the AM radio. I get a lot of static when those blue lights are on, even if it was already set to a local station. The station can be heard as soon as the lights go out. It takes 30 seconds or more for those lights to go out. It is more extensive than that. The blue lights can come on for another 30 seconds depending on what you do. If you are listening to the radio, turn on the headlights. You can't hear the radio until the blue lights come on and they go back off. It does the job, but you will need to be prepared to deal with the quirks of mine.
👤I like the fact that this radio uses standard batteries, which means I already have a bunch of replacements, and I got longer lasting batteries to put in it. The crank charge is not something I like because it takes a lot of cranking to charge it full, however in an emergency it does charge and per the manual one minute of cranking equals 6 min of radio or 30 min of light. The batteries don't drain due to the bright lights on this. Radio reception is terrible inside. I think it is deserving of five stars. I will have to change the rating if it isn't durable.
The weather radio is easy to carry and waterproof, it is made of strong IPX3 water resistance, and it is fitted with a strap and carabiners for attaching it to your belt or hanging it from a rope. The Weather Hand Crank Radio can help you stay safe during emergencies and hurricanes by providing you with weather forecast. Such as a power cut. The hand crank radio is portable and can be taken away from you. A bright 3LED flashlight, built in a 2000mAh battery, gives a fairly broad beam to light your way in total darkness. Their Weather Solar Radios with so many uses is a must have in everyone's household. The solar powered radio is going to be useful.
👤I was expecting a Chinese radio for $13. It works very well and it feels solid. This is a great addition to your emergency kit. Is the exact same model as the more expensive ones on Amazon?
👤I was a little nervous when I first opened it because it is smaller than I expected. I was wrong to be worried. This little thing is awesome. It is small and light, has a bright flashlight, and a microusb outlet to plug in, and it gets great reception. It can be charged by cranking the handle on the back of the unit, or by using the solar panel on the top of the unit. All of them clip into slots so they aren't flopping around when you're not using them, and I like the way it fits in. It is a great design with a lot of features and a rock- bottom price. I will put it in my kit so I don't need it too often, because that would mean my electricity is out.
👤We bought this just in case, and haven't used it yet. We tested it out. The instructions are easy to use. For the first use, crank it up for 5 minutes. 15 minutes of use after 1 minute of cranking. The volume is good. The flashlight is bright. We were able to pick up a few stations. We can charge a phone.
👤It was much better than I expected. You may have to go back and forth a few times to lock in the signal on stations that are close together. The very short whip antenna does a good job, but you may have to move the radio around a bit to find the best position to receive a signal, but that isn't surprising. The light is bright enough. The sound is tinny. What do you think a 1 inch speaker will do? This bag is a winner. Replacing the battery will be easy for anyone with a soldering iron and a small screwdriver. There is a Buy three at this price. One for the backpack, one for the tackle box, and one for the glove box.
👤I haven't used this product for a while, but I love how it works. It is available for use in the evening for as long as I need it, because I set it in a window to charge every morning. The majority of use has lasted up to 2 hours. It is small and portable, and I love the option to charge my phone or iPad from it.
👤It seems to work well. Haven't relied on yet for necessity or tested the life of the charge. I worked with a luttle juice from the box. I charged and tested again. It works. An antenna for the radio. The weather band is easy to add up. Light is bright. Some people need to read the instructions and the battery life varies on how you use it. It's just common sense to charge a phone with radio and light. It will drain and won't charge as fast if you are on it or using it. I just charged it from the wall, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a cheaper option.

It's very convenient to carry for any outdoor activities. They provide customers with a 12 months replacement warranty and a 24 hour after-sale service. A life saver for you and your people.
👤I love this radio, it's small and packed with great power. We don't go hiking or camping anymore, but we live in an area that loses its power a lot, so we don't go there anymore. We lost it for 5 hours this morning and the Weather Station is perfect to keep you up to date with what is happening. There are 5 ways to power it up, including 3AAA batteries, an AC adapter with Microusb Input jack, Crank power handle, Solar Power and a Li-ion rechargeable battery which can be charged with an AC adapter. It can be used to replenish your phone's battery, but only in an emergency. The radio reception is crystal clear. The color is bright and easy to spot. It has a flashlight and a reading lamp that are both solar charged with 2 settings. You can always find the compass on the carrying strap. There is an extra loud alarm with a red flashing light that is used for extra protection. I think a longer strap would be the only thing that would make me happy. It is worth every dime.
👤I am pretty excited about this. My husband likes green and we started camping this year. I have never used a hand crank before, but it works. It works with less time than the instructions suggest. The reading lamp, flashlight, and theusb port are my favorite features, because they allow me to charge my phone when we camp, and I never have batteries for mine. The solar panel and hand crank will be put to good use and I will probably never use the battery option.
👤This solar/hand crack powered unit made a great addition to my survival kit. It can be powered by x3AAAs and built-in batteries. There is a radio station. I was able to listen to music even though it was not on the radio. It also supports the other two. I don't use them. A wide reading lamp with a solar panel attached is very bright and has two lighting options. The alarm is so loud. The alarm was attached with a video sample. The included manual was very helpful for me as a first-time user, and it had the operational instructions clearly stated. The scale is very small so it needs more accuracy when browsing for radio channels.
👤This is going to be a comprehensive, detailed review of the Rocam Emergency Hand Crank Portable Radio Solar Power AM/FM/SW/NOAA Weather Radio with 2000mAh Power. The Radio is great. It's light and portable. It has a strap that you can use quickly. The radio has two frequencies. I have to say that the sound quality can have a crackle or a bit of a glitch, but it still works great. There are a lot of switches that can be used to modify sound, Amp, and tuning. This radio is designed to be handy during emergencies and has a handy compass feature. The compass is not a digital device and is on top of the radio. The title says there is 2000 mAh Power. It powers the radio. There is room in the back for batteries. The flashlight in the front uses the power of the sun and solar to illuminate it, which is a really neat eco feature. There are 2usb charges in the back of your phone. You can see when everything is powered up and the gauge and stuff with handy indicators. 👤It seems like the product has all the features you need, but you're actually tuning it to a station. It is difficult to narrow down to the station. A digital display radio is better for you.
👤It has all the features you need, but unfortunately the battery portion does not hold up, it starts at 75% and drops to no % displayed within minutes. The crank is even worse than the tuner, it takes 7 days of full sun to charge the solar panel.
👤It was charged once and had it running for a day and a half. I went hiking and camping with it. It was amazing sound and clarity. I was getting a lot of signals. My Dad was impressed when he saw the flashlight, solar panels, reading light, etc. Good purchase. 5/5
👤The MD-090P is a great emergency radio. All features worked as advertised. The sound is clear, the lights are bright, and the sound is loud. AM and FM. The weatherband is all working. The design is attractive. It's bright enough to enable you to locate radio when you need it, but not that eye-catching orange that would make you want to hide it. It is small, but feels substantial. Quality workmanship is not cheap. I have ausb cord that works on my devices. The hand crank glides easily. I haven't tested the amount of cranking needed to charge the radio yet. Would have liked a horizontal handle or thick strap on top, but wrist strap with carbiner on lower right enables you to hang light above you so it's facing downward in an emergency, which could be helpful. Also, note: The tiny blue lights on the front will go off after 30 seconds if you have AM on and flip up the light. When blue lights go out, you'll lose your AM and get static, but don't touch the dial, it will come back after 30 seconds. I bought this model for my radio.
👤It really sounds nice for the size of the radio, which is not much bigger than a box of half a dozen eggs. The transistor radios of the 1970s were worse. Sound quality doesn't really matter in an emergency, but the volume goes up a bit. The people on the other side of town probably heard the emergency sirens when I tried them. The blinking signal worked well. The three levels of light are enough to land an airplane. I can't attest to battery life because I got this a couple of days ago and it was already halfway charged. The battery power indicator didn't light up when it was hand cranking it. I didn't put much effort into it. I'm going to let it drain.
👤Awesome solar/crank radio. It hasn't been able to charge a phone.
👤It feels like a loose tooth. I am digging it so far. I bought it for my boat. I will update this in the near future.
👤It works well. The alarm is loud. The lights are brighter than I expected. The option to crank generate is something I love. The ability to use batteries makes it even better. Local weather news andbulletins as well as the Am/Fm reception. It will be a great gift. It's small enough to fit in your backpack and move out.

👤I am writing this because they asked for a review. I would give it a rating of 3, 3.5, and 5 out of 5. The solar and hand crank are impractical and don't charge much after many tries. I listen to NPR on the radio and it works great. I am really disappointed that I have not seen any change growth after cranking for a long time, which is loud and not practical for trying to be "green" while watching tv as a family. I wanted to return it but wanted a device to charge items in an outage. The value is there and I would give this a 3.5. I want to see if the company responds to my review in a good way. Not really mad at the product, just dissatisfied with the green concept and charging aspects as a tree hugger.

Imagine being able to read books to the little ones using this fun crank radio. Excellent quality, very well built and convenient to always have at home and in the car!
👤The design has a large battery capacity and strong lighting functions. When needed, illuminate the road with a flashlight. Even when rain can be charged, large batteries can still be used. Saving fuel and the environment.
👤The radio and lights work well. It's not bad at all. The battery backup isn't very effective. It only added 20 percent to my galaxy s8. It only took 15 minutes tops to deplete. I haven't used the solar power feature to charge it yet, but it usually doesn't have good solar power. If you need a light or radio in an emergency, thenhand crank is a good choice.
👤I wanted to make sure I was prepared for an emergency when I moved to the southeast coast. This radio has everything you need. The solar panel and wind up knob keep me up to date. The phone's power source is a feature of the greT. It is light and small. Hopefully I will never have to use it, but I am confident that I will know what's going on if I need it.
👤The product is made well. The radio works well and the lights are bright. I was able to fully charge my phone. The reason I'm giving this product a 4/5 is because I overestimated the solar panel. I left it in the car on a sunny day to see how long the battery can last. After sitting in the sun for a while, it charged 25%. If an emergency occurs it will be a useful tool. Make sure to charge it before you use it.

👤I'm very pleased with this unit. It's only twenty bucks, so it gets five stars. The included manual says the power bank is 1200 mAh, but Amazon says it's 1000. I think it's between 1000 and 1100 mAh. The flashlight is good for most general tasks in the dark, but not bright. There are no flash or brightness modes. The radio works well, but it's already loud at 10% of the way through. I have not tried it all the way up. The tuning is sensitive, but not too sensitive to be able to tune to stations when you're careful. This isn't for listening to music, it's for sound quality. There isn't a jack for headphones. The antenna works well for Wideband but not for FM. It takes work to turn the charging crank. One minute of cranking makes my hands tired. It takes five minutes of cranking to do the work. It's hard to find a good place to hold the unit while cranking without having to grip it harder than you should. The knob on the crank is small. It's fine for a moment. You can charge the unit with the included cable, which is the easiest way to do that. External devices can be charged from the internal battery. I don't know what the output current is, but it charges my phone. There are more details below. After the unit was completely drained, I turned on the flashlight and cranked 130 revolutions. The first 20 minutes were normal, but then began to get dimmer and dimmer. It kept shining. And shining. And shining. After 9 hours of constant dim light, I turned on the radio at the same time and everything went out. Who knows how long it would have lasted. In total darkness, it's still useful to not trip on things when pointed at your feet, even though almost all of the 9 hours were very dim light. Good for emergencies. I turned on the radio when the unit was completely drained. It played for 12 minutes before dying. Is it possible to charge phones? I have an old phone. With the flashlight completely drained, I was able to crank 1300 turns in 10 minutes. I plugged in my phone to charge it. It added 2% to my phone battery. I placed a phone call with no cellular data, internet, or location services on, and in low battery mode. My call lasted for a few minutes. My phone battery is not what it used to be so my mileage is different. I tested the capacity by charging the unit with the internet. I think it took less than 6 hours. I charged my phone with the battery saving settings in place. It raised my phone battery level before it stopped charging. It took over an hour. I connected my phone and started cranking after the unit fully discharged. It provided charge to my phone while cranking. I set the solar charging in the sun and it looked like it was charging. It shows as charging under bright indoor lights.
