Easy Clean Electric shaver for men with 3 flexible blades that adapt to facial shape for a close shave. The EasyClean system can be used without removing the shaver head. The Li-Ion battery can be used for up to 3 weeks. 5 min charge for a shave. The electric razor is waterproof. The moustache and sideburns trimming attachment is included. Birthday and anniversary gifts for him. It's a perfect gift for all the men in your life.
👤I pre-ordered this before it was released and I was really excited to get it. I was a little disappointed in the way it was packaged. This review doesn't cover how the shaver cuts because I didn't use it. I decided to return it because I made up my mind that it wasn't what I wanted based on the features. It feels cheap to be honest. It's mostly hard and lightweight and feels like it wouldn't survive a drop. The foils are spring loaded, but the shaver head is fixed and doesn't pivot. It looks like it might. That 1 was the biggest downer for me. The shaver does not come with a case or a protective cap. What's going on with that? I wouldn't want my toiletry bag to be hit by the foil. I don't like the idea of attaching the grooming attachment to the shaver head. I don't know where to keep the grooming attachment when it's not being used. It's going to get lost along the way. Braun doesn't have a slot on the shaver where the grooming attachment can be attached when not in use. The pop-up trimmer is so much more convenient than the electric shavers I've used so far. Imagine having to pause the shaver, remove the shaver head assembly, look for the separate grooming attachment, attaching it, turning on the shaver again, and then reattaching the regular shaver head when done with the grooming attachment. No thanks!
👤I have been a fan of Norelco for a long time. I do not have a heavy beard, and I do not have a two day beard. I no longer need to shave every day. Braun did an excellent job at weekend growth before the Norelco, and it shaved more closely. The old Braun was replaced by this. Mistake. The shaver doesn't handle two to three day old growth. This shaver is better than the Norelco for one day beard growth. I don't recommend this shaver.
👤I can't recommend this shaver to anyone. My shaver has a closer shave. I was expecting more from the waste of money and it was not up to my expectations. It's disappointing since the only way to get a close shave is with a lot of passes. My skin is getting irritated. I'm not sure if it's this specific one I got or if I'm doing something wrong but as of right now, this sledgehammer is not worth 70. I paid for it with dollars.
👤I regretted buying this shaver. The instruction manual is a farce. They could have had ikea do the instructions and a better document. The construction seems poorly designed and will break under normal use. The need to remove the shaving head to plug in the trimmer is a waste of time. The delicate shaving foil is not protected by a cover and is not available anywhere in the world as I write this. It's only a matter of time before the shaver is damaged and unrepairable, and no storage case or stabnd is included. It gives a nice shave so far. This may be the last shaver from them after having a Braun for nearly 15 years.
The Braun Series 9 is the world's most efficient electric shaver. For a shave that's personal to you, built-in responsive intelligence automatically adjusts to the features of your face. The head shaves more hair in the first stroke than any other electric razor. You can reach difficult areas like under your nose with the slide-out precision trimmer. Made in Germany, it is waterproof, dry and effective. Birthday and anniversary gifts for him. It's a perfect gift for all the men in your life.
👤I feel like I have finally seen the light. I was considering getting this for quick shaves on the weekend so I wouldn't scratch up my baby's face, but I am surprised to say I am getting almost as close to a daily shave as I am with a blade. I can't believe I'm writing this. I've given up on using blades. My routine is "tried and true". I use a preshave oil that I make myself, which is cheap and easy to make, and then I use Aesop's neroli. The Aesop shave gel is very pricey but is slick with minimal soapy lather so it is perfect for a wet electric shave, and the shaver is easy to clean, just a quick rinse. I finish with Kiehl's post-shave repair gel and a moisturizer. It's inexpensive and outstanding. I buy a solution on Amazon to replenish myself after I clean the shaver in the cleaning station. This routine is called bougie. My face feels smooth and soft all day, and each shave is very comfortable. I switched to using Speick shaving cream with the shaver and it works great. A little goes a long way and it is an excellent product to use with the shaver.
👤The foil started making a loud metal sound after 2 weeks of use, but I wrote a great review on the product. It only took 9 minutes to get a great shave, then 2 weeks later it was 15 minutes with loud noise from the foil. It took 20 minutes to get a shave, and then it took another 20 minutes to put up with the loud sound from the fifty dollar foil.
👤I've been using the Braun shaver since I got out of college and have bought every new iteration. The series 7 was nice, but it never really got under my chin and upper neck as close as I would like, but it was reasonable enough for me to continue using it. I waited a long time to get this series 9 and so far it is worth every penny. I was surprised that the trouble spots are no longer trouble spots. This shaver is billed to do what it's advertised to do and is different than the series 7. The shaver's weight is different, but it fits in the hand very well, so that doesn't bother me. I like the cleaner presentation of the base, but it will get dusty when it's glossy. I don't see how much better this series is unless I press a button and a robot comes out and shaves me.
👤I bought this for my husband, who used philips norelco for 3-4 years. He has a thick facial hair. I tried to return the item. I was told that it is not returnable. I would like to paste the response I got from the customer service team here, as everyone needs to be aware that this item is not returnable even if the description says so. September 1, 2019: 1:58:41 PM N Sharma: why is that? The item is not returnable, so we cannot ask you to return it and not take any action, September 1, 2019. The description doesn't say as not returnable nor as returnable, but we are working on it.
Get a shave that's comfortable on your skin. 27 self-sharpening blades are protected by round blade caps, which help the shaver glide over your skin. Experience a clean shave with heads that float in 4 directions. The head adjusts to the curves of your face, so you don't have to worry about it. The 4D Flex heads follow your face's shape. There is a pop-up trimmer for mustaches. The built-in trimmer will finish your look. It's ideal for keeping your mustache and sideburns. One-touch open for easy cleaning. Experience a clean shave with heads that float. The head adjusts to the curves of your face, so you don't have to worry about it. About 13 shaves are possible from 40 minutes of shaving with an 8-hour charge. Plug it in for continuous power.
👤My previous norelco of a comparable model was so old that it fell apart in my hands and I had to get a new one. I thought I would stick with the same brand. The new norelco doesn't compare. It was difficult to find a norelco in this price range that could operate while plugged in. It took almost 10 hours for the initial full charge, the rotors do not spin as fast as the old model, and it seems to loose charge fairly quickly, so it is nowhere near as powerful as the old model. The old model of razor required a blade to get a clean shave, and I have a lighter beard than most men. Will return it for an electric shaver from a different brand. Another customer has left the company.
👤It ships with all the required safety labels and has a battery with a ion battery. The package confirms that it has a NiMH battery.
👤Shaver does a good job. Norelco doesn't let you know which battery this shaver uses, but I wanted the battery that I wanted. The model Norelco shaver uses batteries. I am all for batteries. Let the customers know what type of battery is used in the shaver they are buying.
👤I wanted to update my review after several months. It's been a great razor, I still feel the same way. The battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, but I just use it plugged in full-time, and that's all that matters. It's not like the battery is dead, but this way I know it's always going full blast. I still recommend this razor. One of their high-end affairs cost over $200, and I had an expensive Norelco shaver. I got it for a good price a long time ago. One day, it stopped working. The battery was dead, which is normal with a rechargeable battery. I decided not to spend a lot of money again, so I went for this one for around $30. The quality of shave is the same as the older one, which retailed for over $200 at the time. The shaver doesn't have a display that says how long you have left on the battery, but is that really important? It's all about shave quality, and this one is just fine, and is even comfortable when I let the whiskers get longer than I should. This razor seems to be good in that respect, as it is very painful with long whiskers. Recommended!
👤I liked the older model better, this one doesn't seem to spin the blades very fast so I'm turning it. To get a close shave, I have to go over and over in my face.
👤Santa riding a razor like a sled in the Norelco Christmas ads of the 70s. The brand and style of razor must be pretty good. I've given it a solid month, long enough to get used to it, but it's been a big disappointment. It takes too long to shave my face with this thing. I was hoping a new razor would perform better than my old one. The whiskers don't get into the blades even if there are many passes and many directions, and this new one seems incapable of shaving certain areas. It also gives me razor burn on my neck, and it generally doesn't give a good, close shave. I'm going to have to buy a different one.
Up to 120 minutes of shaving can be had with theusb quick-charging andled display. The shaver only takes 1 hour to charge and is very convenient for travel. You can see how much power is left on the battery indicator on the razor, so you can charge before needing to. A close shave is provided by the 3D rotary shaver, which has floating heads that automatically adapt to the shape of the face, neck and even the jaw. The pop-up beard trimmer is easy to use and can easily trim sideburns, moustaches and facial hair. It has an open tab that can be used to quickly trim facial hair. The IPX7 body is waterproof and allows you to use the electric shaver even in the shower. It can be used with either shaving foam or gel for a better shaving experience. Premium quality motor is quiet so you can enjoy every moment of shaving.
👤I lost all my hair. It was scary to learn how to maintain a bald head. I found this online. I have used it twice. I love it! I am pleased with the results, they were very lightweight and easy to use.
👤I have been using Norelco razors for 25 years. I thought I'd give this razor a try because the price of new heads is so high. Cheap replacement Norelco knock-off heads can be bought, but the reviews are mixed and they seem to be less quality and not last as long. It was worth the experiment because I could buy this razor for less than Norelco brand replacement heads. I received this a month ago and wanted to give the heads a chance to break in and use it for a full charge so I could give it a proper review. The daily usage is a good test for my beard. I turned it on when it arrived and it still showed a full charge. I wanted to see how long the original charge would last before I charged it. The first thing I discovered was that it is quieter than the Norelcos I have been using. I can hear it cutting my hair. I have to go over the same area twice as much to get a good shave. My overall shave is okay, but not as close as my Norelco with good blades could give me. The battery level lights are nice. My Norelcos used to have these, but they removed them from the less expensive models in favor of a single light that just turns amber when it needs a charge. If you travel and don't want to carry an additional battery pack, you can use this razor to find out how long your battery will last. This uses a standard cable. I would carry one for this razor. I like that. The battery life... I was shocked to get 4 weeks out of the original charge. It's amazing that my shaving takes twice as long as before. My Norelco was not able to go for 2 weeks. It fully charged back up over an hour. Very nice. Not quite as good of a shave as Norelco.
👤I bought this because it was cheaper than the replacement heads I have been using for three years. I replaced the cutter on that razor twice, so I ordered two sets of replacement heads. The most important feature of this razor is that it is inexpensive and gives me a better shave. Is the battery charged using a microusb connection? I go on bike tours that last for months. The razor will give me a month of shaves before the battery needs to be charged. I needed to have a charging cradle and a special charge for my razor. I'll be able to charge my razor with the same small charge I carry for my phone and camera. After using this razor on my heavy beard for over five weeks, it was 20% cheaper. It was fully charged in about an hour after I connected it to the 1 Ampusb charging station. I'm impressed.
The professional precision. The 5-star shaver/shaper is designed for professional use only and is engineered to deliver the sharp performance that experts demand. There are two things: sylish and function. This shaver has an appealing aesthetic and top-notch precision. The battery can keep the motor running for up to 60 minutes per charge. The most sensitive skin will be free of razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and skin irritation with the use of gold foil. The 5-Star Series Shaper/Shaver comes with all the necessary accessories. The package includes the shaver, foil guard, charging plug, cleaning brush, and operating instructions. There are product specifications. The 5-star series shaver/shaper is long and weighs 5.8 ounces. This shaver has a foil/cutter bar, a rechargeable motor, and operates at 120 hertz.
👤I bought this razor thinking it was new, but it is broken and has hair in it. People can sell something for a lot and send it. I will return it and hope they will send me a new one.
👤This product provides a tight shave which hugs the face very nicely. I wanted to use it on my head to eliminate razor shaves. The unit is close to the feel of a real razor shave as compared to other electric razors. It takes some time to get the angle correct. I can't speak about how it will perform on other areas because I've only used it on my head. Cleaning is very easy when the unit breaks down, as a cleaning brush is provided. If I stop and clean it out once or twice, it will be better for performance. I wouldn't suggest this for a person who lets stubble get too long between shaves, as it didn't perform well for me under those conditions. It broke, now here comes the rub. When I thought I had a product that would fill my grooming gap, it bought the farm. When I heard a different sound than I had heard before, and saw that one of the cutting arms had snapped off, I knew I had made a mistake. I'm not surprised that something broke, but I am surprised that it broke so quickly. I have had this unit for over a month and a half, and in that time I've used it three times, the fourth being time of failure. This type of failure occurs more often as the part that broke is a stand alone purchase item. I would imagine that the part would fail over time, given that there are replacement parts available. I would rather buy replacement parts for $17 on Amazon than have to replace the whole unit. I'm going to return the product and work through their warranty program to make it whole, without any extra cost. I will update this review as needed based on the situation.
👤I can't use a razor. I can't use an electric shaver. I have Eczama. I use Magic Shave depilatory to remove hair from my face. One day my barber accidentally used a shaver on me. I let him, but I panicked because I thought I would break out. I did not. I bought one. I can use it in between the depilatory and break out.
👤I'm going to leave my original review here. It was all true. There is a I ended up getting razor burn on my head after using this razor twice a day for 2 weeks, because it had a hard time getting the hairs. I went to walmart and bought a cheaper razor that worked just as well as the one I had. If you want a close shave on your head, you need to use a head with two humps. I have to return it because it broke in 2 weeks and I couldn't use it. I used it with the cord because I have been shaving for 2 days. I think this first cut was better than a razor. I had to run my clippers over my head because I have very thick fast growing hair. I'll try to remember to update my review after I've been using it for a while. I'm very impressed by the way the box is constructed. I have to shave my head and shoulders off because it doesn't catch all of the hair. The motor runs better when plugged in. I have to shave daily or else it won't work. I might buy a secondary electric razor when my hair gets too long. It's close if not equal to a blade.
The shaver blades have a curved shape. The battery has maximum power. It's ideal for finishing stubble and fade-style haircuts.
👤There are thousands of reviews for this razor on the internet so I won't bother with them. I've not tried many electric razors, so your mileage may vary. I received a fake first time after ordering this. I compare the razors to photos and videos on the andis.com website. The attached photos show the differences between green, red, shiny, warning text, and right side plug. The legit one seems to run at a higherrpm. There is a green light in the manual. The legit one was bought from the seller.
👤I've been shaving my head for years and I've bought every new trimmer on the market. I have a number of clippers, but none of them blew my mind the way this little foil shaver does. If you want the Foil to work, you have to be short initially, but it will take your hair down to just above a straight Razor cut. I think it's close in my opinion. I shave my head every other day in five minutes or less and it has changed my life. If I miss a few days, I have to cut the hair with a clipper first before I use the Foils. I have had my Profoil for 4 months and I have only charged it 5 times. The battery life is insane. It comes with a plastic guard to protect the Foils and Travels in my Shave Kit. I can shave my head anywhere I want. The blades are cutting well despite being down for 4 months. You just remove the foils and brush the hair off of the blades and the body, and then you just put one drop of oil on each blade. Buying a nice Clipper brush and a small amount of Clipper oil will keep yours nice and clean. If you don't own one of these, you're doing yourself a disservice. Great quality and cheap. I will never use anything else in my life. What are you waiting for?
👤La mquina, la revisamos, and todo pareca normal, estaba una sorpresa. Teniamos altas expectativas con un frustrado.
👤I've owned a few electric shavers but this one is the best. It takes a while to get used to. I've been looking for an effective shaver for a long time for a black man or a guy with curly facial hair. I don't need to apply a lot of pressure to get a close shave because I use passes in different directions across my face. It irritates my skin when I press too hard. It has an electrical charger. One charge lasts a long time. I used the model with the foil shaver.
👤I bought this in July. I would have given it a 4 star rating, but I didn't. It is mostly plastic and feels cheap, but works well and gives a close shave. The reason for a 2 star review was because it stopped working and stopped charging after 3 months. It would not buy again if it was my specific unit.
The fissures are called fissures. The FlexSeries shaver is the only thing you need to keep your head clean and smooth. The Advanced Anti-Bump technology on the soft alloy blades of the 5 blade rotary razor makes it safe, easy to use, and convenient to shave your head and body. Replacement blades are available. SMOOTH SHAVE. A smooth shave is the number one benefit of this razor. The electric head shaver can be used for wet or dry shaving. The grooming kit is made of high-quality materials and will last. The device is shower safe, portable, and long battery life can be charged with a rapidusb for convenience, making it great for travel. There are five appendices. The FlexSeries kit comes with 5 different grooming tools. The kit includes a shaver. A clipper/trimmer with safety guards. A nose and ear hair removal device. A brush for removing dead skin cells. A massage pad. A cleaning brush and a charging cable. The FlexSeries is easy to hold and use, whether it be on your head, beard, or elsewhere. It doesn't leave any skin irritation, such as bumps, cuts, or burn. It's designed for men who like a clean-shaven head but are tired of using old shavers, razors, or blades and want the job done quickly and right. The FlexSeries kit is a great gift for your partner, father, friend, or brother. Get started by fully charging your shaver. This will take about 90 minutes. The unit will show a red light while charging. The light will be green when ready to use. You can use your trimmer for up to 90 minutes. Changing out your replaceable blades frequently will keep your skin and FlexSeries healthy.
👤This thing is great. I have only used it once, but I love it. If my review 8s are not edited in the future, assume that it has performed perfectly without any problems, and that it will no longer hold a charge. It won't work while being plugged in and it's past the return window. I'm very disappointed.
👤Terrible product. The company ignored any requests to replace or refunds after five months. Stay away.
👤The product was used before it was delivered. I opened my package to find that the pieces were from an unknown person. I didn't buy an old or refurbished product. I don't understand why anyone would consider this a quality product if it wasn't inspected. Not satisfied. This is disgusting and unsanitary. A review will be posted on the website as well. I had to leave a star. I give a mediocre 5 stars.
👤If you shave your head, this is not a good product. It doesn't give you a close shave and you have to go over and over again to feel like you shaved an area. If you are looking for a clean and close shave, this is not the product for you. I bought it. I feel like it was a waste of money.
👤The razor is amazing, but it is not waterproof for showering. He stopped working after 3 months after I bought this for him. My engineer son took it apart and found something in the battery compartment. The company replaced the razor when we contacted them. The second razor stopped working about 3 months ago. A manufacturing problem needs to be fixed.
👤I am very impressed with this shaver. People claim how well it works in multiple ads. Someone with my style shaved the sides of my head in one of those videos. I gambled and it paid off. Clean, close shave, no mess. I used it while showering and it worked great. If I use it as a normal hair clipper, it will be even better. The other attachments are useful as well. This is a great device.
👤This shaver is wonderful. My husband wanted to shave his head. It works well, but it works better for dry shaving than wet. It was easy to clean the shaver. It was taking me a long time because the hair lodges inside the blades which need to be cleaned. The small side shaver is great, but I found it easier to hold with both hands when shaving my husband's side burns. This product shaves great.
👤I bought it for my bald headed man. Close shaves! It is easy to handle. It's even great for those regions.
👤It's good to keep up your shave.
👤The shipping time was not good, I really like the shaver.
The Panasonic Arc 5 mens electric razor has an ultra-fast motor and 5-blade system that makes shaving quicker, smoother, and more efficient. The 16-D Shaving Head is flexible and can be adjusted in 16 different ways to follow the skin's natural curve and keep in close contact with the face, neck, chin and jaw. The Advanced Intelligent Shave Sensor senses beard densities 220 times per second and adjusts power 14 times per second as you shave, ensuring smooth, even results. The outer foil shaver system and the inner blades are so close that they can lift and cut through thick, dense beards with ease. The built-in, ultra-sharp pop-up trimmer details mustaches, beards and sideburns, and it's wet/dry operation lets you shave in or out of the shower.
👤About 6 weeks ago, I bought 11/7/2019. The shaver stopped working. There is no support from Amazon or Panasonic. Although the shaver is under a 2-year warranty, it is not possible to submit a repair request through the website because they do not recognize the product model number. I can't submit a request to fix it. It cost me $250. My husband received it as a birthday gift. Do not buy. He has a shaver. The customer service was the worst I have ever encountered.
👤The reviews are consistent with my experience, and I have compared this to the top of the line Braun. The Arc5 shaves faster and closer than the Braun if you just have a day of stubble. The Arc5 is harder on your skin than the Braun, but a pre-shave lotion can fix that. I was more prone to ingrown hairs with the Arc5. I preferred the closer shave, but the Braun was better at handling longer stubble and avoiding ingrown hairs.
👤I upgraded the Panasonic Arc5 to the ES-LV67 because it was suffering from a dying battery. I took a few photos of the old and new side-by-side, and you can see that the LV-67 is a little longer and slimmer. The new model is more pleasant to handle and feels less bulky than the old one. I think it is pretty good, but it is not as good as the LV-61 with a new set of blades. I wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing, since they both pair the same blades with the same level of cutting power. The main difference in the shaving experience is the thickness sensor that was introduced a few years ago with the LV-65, although I honestly don't think I'm benefiting from that with the way my facial hair grows. The new model has a protective cap for the blades that snaps on when it's wet, and it also has slats on the side to help it air out when wet. The lack of a physical lock switch is a minor complaint, as the LV-67 requires you to hold the power button down if you want to prevent it from turning on accidentally. It's not the most user-friendly feature if you ever realize that you forgot to lock it and are used to flipping a switch quickly. This is a good replacement for my older Arc5. The experience as a whole feels like an upgrade, even though it doesn't bring any revolutionary changes.
👤The product I bought was supposed to shave my face and chest. I used to have a $35.00 one, but it didn't remove everything I wanted. I thought buying this after seeing the advertising would be a really good idea. It is not real advertising. Don't spend your money on something that doesn't work. I threw the money in the trash. Very disappointed. I know the seller is not to blame, but can someone contact me to get this back? There is a I think you should stop selling it. Thanks.
The moustache and sideburns trimming attachment is included. The SensoFlex electric shaver is dermatologically tested to minimize skin pressure for sensitive skin. The blades of sofoil are designed to be close to the skin. The Li-Ion battery can be used for up to 3 weeks. 5 min charge for a shave. The electric razor is waterproof.
👤I have been shaving for over 60 years and have always preferred foil shavers because they shave closer to my skin. I went back to the rotary last year but was not happy with the lack of a close shave. I shave with a pre-shave liquid. The Braun Series 6 was advertised to be good for sensitive skin. I can say that this shaver shaves. I am getting a very close shave.
👤I'm coming from using a Panasonic Arc3 and an old shaver that just wasn't cutting it. If you have a full beard, this review may not apply to you because I dry shave daily and am mostly just dealing with stubble. I had issues with skin irritation after using the Panasonic, but I liked it. The Arc shavers are bulky and not a fan of it. I decided to try this one after reading that Braun shavers provide more comfortable shaves. I got the version without the cleaning stand as I've never found them to be useful enough to justify how much space they take up. The barebones version has a shaver in a carrying case, a small brush, and a clipper head. I've been using this for over a week and I can say that it blows any other shaver I've ever used out of the water, and gives a close shave, while being much more comfortable. The head tilts forward to back, but not side to side. The blades have a tilt side to side that helps me with my face shape. I have to go over my neck a few times to get a clean cut, but this is a common problem for electric shavers and the Braun 6 still gets closer than my old shavers.
👤The clippings end up all over. Even though the head looks like it will change, it seems to leave less mess one way or the other. It doesn't give you a close shave, but it doesn't leave your face feeling like it's been sanded with 80 grit sandpaper, which is good. The battery life is good so far. I didn't have to charge in two weeks. There was a reduction from 4 to 1 stars. This is the unit for people who like to have shavings all over their counter and sink.
👤I reviewed the Series6 about four months ago. I loved it! One of the best electric razors I have ever used was dead. It's not worth it to get a German razor, German blades, and actually made in Germany. It decided to die after carefully cleaning, using and charging. There was no response to the push button. Check charge is fully charged! It was checked for accidental lock. Nope, unlocked. All indicators work. All charging works. OKAY BRAUN! There is a I should have known. There were a few reviews that happened after 3 to 4 months. I thought those were anomolies. I said that BRAUN was too good. The motor is a piece of cheap engineering. There is a pattern of this in the reviews. Customer service from Braun/Proctor and Gamble? My beard will be as long or longer than his. Don't use this model! I should have done that.
Painless close shaving. Painless, low noise, hypo-allergenic, 3D close shaving is done by a high speed powerful motor and 4 direction flex heads. It glides along your curves and gives you a close shave. The double-blade pop-up trimmer helps precisely trim and detail your beard and sideburns in seconds. The battery lock is designed with a percentage on a large display to remind you of the amount of time left in the battery, and a button that can be pressed for 3 seconds to disengage the lock. It is safe to use wet and dry. IPX7 is a 100% whole-body design that is safe to use while showering. It allows you to shave wet for extra skin protection or dry for convenience. Quick charging for one hour. 60 minutes quick charge for 120 minutes continuous use; allows to use while charging; supports one-hand operation.
👤I am impressed. I have been using Norelco shavers for a long time. This one is out of the box and gives a more comfortable shave than my last one. The prices of premium shavers have become steep. There is a display of remaining battery charge that is a lot to like about this one. The shaving quality was lousy after five months. The cutting blades were cleaned and made usable again. Sometimes a little water is needed. I contacted the seller about my concerns. They sent replacements even after I told them that the originals were fine. Recommended!
👤This shaver was received on March 6. Today is May 28, 2019. I have had enough time to give a good evaluation. The shaver is the same as described on Amazon. The shaver was fully charged and had an LEDs meter. The shavers I've received in the past usually took 24 hours to charge. This was in the box and ready to leave. The first shave used 30% of the charge. The shaver has become used to my beard since I've been using it. I shave using about 12% of the charge, which has greatly reduced shaving time. My previous brand shaver took a long time to refill. The MAX-T Electric Shaver Quick Rechargeable takes about 8 minutes every day. It is easier to clean this shaver. The shaving head is removed, the shaver is tapped against the side of a trash can, and most of the shaving head falls out. I disassembled the shaving head after about a month to clean it. I remove the shaving head, tap the shaver against the side of a trash can, and then use it again, it seems to work. I plan on cleaning in 90 days. There was no shaving burn or rash. I have been using shavers for 40 years. This shaver is the best I have ever used. I would buy it again.
👤The battery in the 4 year old Norelco would no longer hold a charge. The shaver provides a close shave. It is a shaver. The shaver's power cord connection is delicate, not a two-pronged one as in other shavers, and you need to be careful in making the connection or you can break the internal-handle male part. I haven't had time to know how long the internal battery will last. Replacement is more affordable than the Norelco. It is a good price.
👤I only dropped the battery by 5% after it was fully charged. I am tense and closed up.
👤I have not used a shaver before, but I am tired of the razor blade cuts. None of the expensive name brands had an overall 5 star rating. Dr. Bronner's liquid soap Max -Tcare shaved as close to a 3 blade razor as possible.
👤I will not rate the shaver because we returned it undamaged. We don't buy items made in China because we don't like them. I typed in to find electric shavers made in the USA and found one. I bought it. My husband opened it and saw that it was made in China. We returned it. I got my money back. If anyone out there feels the same, please make sure you know when the item gets delivered that it is made in the USA.
A smooth shave is achieved by the Norelco Shaver 7100. A special coating protects your face from irritation. The shaving heads are surrounded by rings that protect your face from irritation. The SkinProtect blades deliver a close shave with fewer passes for more comfortable skin. Even in the shower, get a wet shave with gel or foam. Up to 60 minutes of shaving can be had with a powerful Li-ion battery. A quick charge for a shave.
👤We go. The new head has pieces at the top. The 7000 series has comfort cut heads. A single ring. I've owned every electric shaver there is. I have a problem. I've eaten foil and rotary. It was dry and wet. The cats pajamas were never found. The squared off head was not something I liked. This is a new thing. I think this is going to be a failure for them. The cut was very close. It's hard to imagine. I didn't feel like this glided across my face very well. It did shave better wet. The way things are going in electric shavers seems to be the same. This thing was loaded with technology. It has an app that gives shave recommendations. This was cool, but really just a stunt. It is likely good for rookies but not useful for veterans. I think the shave was 3x5. The cheapest model for 39$ would be enough to get the same shave. I returned it because it was sub par at this price point. I think this is a one off and will be back next year. The hq8 heads that I bought for the 6500 series are 10 years old and have been found to shave better. I think there is going backwards in trying to move forward. Can you take a spinning blade under the guard? I don't think there has been any improvement since the 90s. The price of the best shaver is way above the average price point for most of us. Even a 3 dollar mach 3 and gel would still shave better. The battery life is great. It's okay with sensitive skin. Average to below. I wouldn't bother with this iteration.
👤I got my first shaver at the age of 14. The Ronson had a foil head covering a block that was cut by vibrating and shook the whole thing to pieces. After a few years, I graduated to a job at a company called a Remington. I switched to a Gillette safety razor in which I first used standard blades, but then switched to "Blue Blades" when they came out, and then to the Wilkenson Sword blades, which were a whole other animal. At some point in my 20s, I switched to a 2 headed plug-in Norelco, then to a 3 headed plug-in Norelco, and finally to several rechargeable Norelcos. I have to say that the new 7100 shaves as good as I've ever gotten, and I've got a bit of experience. It's fast, quiet, and comfortable, and I end up with a smooth face and neck. I'm very amused by the blue tooth function and smart phone app. Is it really necessary for men to be told by their phone if they're getting a good shave? It increases the cost and the profit. Or maybe it's a reflection of the Dutch sense of humor.
👤Norelco matched its hype with its performance. This one shaves as close as a blade. I use electric because I don't like blades, but sometimes I have to use a blade to clean up my neck because hair doesn't stay in the shirt. After decades of meaningless marketing, this one works: Skin is as smooth as a blade when done. The more expensive ones made no sense to me. It comes with a stand for charging. Plug the charging cable into the razor and you are good to go. You can get a cleaning device for $50, but just rinse it off under running water. It is a waterproof razor. If you are one of those people who need the most expensive razor, Norelco will be happy to give it to you. The trimmer built in is one of the reasons I chose this model. My previous model required that you remove the shaving head and install a trimming head, and I didn't understand the logic of having to keep up with separate loose parts.
