WOLFBOX 170 front and 140 rear lens provide an ultra wide view, minimizing the blind spots for safe driving/reversing. You can see dual lens display with smart screen split function. The curved screen makes the body more smooth and suitable for the human eye. The mirror camera is compatible with the existing mirror. Clear image and night vision. The WOLFBOX mirror camera has a high resolution of full HD1080P and can record up to 1296P. The upgraded low-reflectivity LCD was applied to the car camera. Night vision is enhanced by a 6 layer glass lens. The license plate is clearly displayed. Smart Functions, Safe Driving1Streaming Media Rearview, 2Parking Monitoring, 3GPS Function, 4G-Sensor, 5Collision boot recording, 6Loop Recording, 7Video time Lapse, etc The backup camera shows the rear view of the car by displaying a high resolution image in the rear-view mirror. The rear image can be adjusted vertically or horizontally with the help of the "Upside down of rear view" and "Rear cam mirror image" menu. It can be installed on pick-up trucks, RVs or even on top roof. If the memory card reaches full capacity, loop recording allows continuous recording even if there is a sudden collision. 👤I hit him at 40 mph. His insurance isn't fighting me.
👤Been using the dash cam camera for more than a year. The camera seems to use too much electricity from my car's battery in parking timelapse mode. My car needs to be shut off most of the time to protect its battery from being empty. It is possible that the battery capacity of my car is not large and that it could potentially drain out of my car battery in timelapse mode. I decided to buy a second one for my friend's car and install it this weekend. I have been using multiple dash cam cameras for over 8 years and mirror dash cam for over 5 years. This is the best I have ever had. I would like to highlight the features that make this camera superior to its competitors, instead of re listing the features that were mentioned in other reviews. 1. A timelapse feature protects you while the car is parked, unlike a dash cam which protects you on the road. If you hard wired the camera to your car, it will take a frame (or more) per second and save them to a video file when you turn off the car. Imagine how this feature would benefit you. You would have a proof if someone bumped into your car. It acts as a secret security camera. 2. They have software that will replay your video with the location of your car on a map. If you like programming, you can extract the gps data from the MOV file to show all the roads you had been on during your trip. 3. If you want to use your mirror as a normal mirror, you can put it into a screen saver mode that only shows your heading direction, speed, and time. It feels like you have a mirror in your car. 4. You can set the mirror so that it will give a warning when you drive over a certain speed. This would help you avoid speeding tickets if you don't know you drive too fast. The speed the mirror calculates from the gps signal is pretty accurate. 5. They have the best customer service I have ever heard of from a Chinese company. They reply less than 24 hours after you ask a question on Amazon or email. Wolfbox, thanks for your hard work! There are some cons I could see. There is no way to turn off the speed display. 2. The Lane Departure Warning is not working consistently. Sometimes it gives out a warning. 3. Even though the sky was clear, sometimes it takes a while to lock down the satellites. Since I have only been using the camera for a month, I don't know many things. It could handle hot temperatures. The camera turned off because it was too hot in my car. May 23, 2020 is an update. The camera turned off the Timelapse when the temperature inside the car was too hot. I think the problem came from my car, not because the camera was too hot. After using my car battery for 6 hours in timelapse mode, it was shut off so I wouldn't be empty. 2. The timelapse mode requires it to work 24 hours a day. Let's see how long the camera lasts. It's still working! I'm very happy with this purchase, after testing a couple of other cameras.
The front and rear cameras simultaneously capture the road front and rear in crystal detail. The discreet design of the dash cam allows it to be stuck to the window for optimal field-of-view, thus not attracting attention and making safe driving. The rear camera cable is perfect for trucks, pickup,s, and SUVs. The single front recording captures crystal clear video at 4k 2880x2160P@ 24FPS or 1920x1080P@60FPS, which makes key details like road signs and vehicle number plates legible. The built-in gps module allows you to view the Live speed in dash cam. If an accident occurs, you can use their Windows and Mac compatible gps viewer to see the exact driving route, speed, and location on the map. When the front dash cam motion sensor senses an object moving, both cameras will record and save those important events. The dual lens dash cam can be used in low bitrate recording mode, which allows it to record at a high rate for 24 hours a day in parking mode, which saves memory space and provides a safer parking environment. The dual-lens dash cam is equipped with a Sony Night Vision lens and Sony Starvis CMOS. It automatically adjusts the camera exposure and delivers clear images even at night. The Super Capacitor is a power source that is heat resistant and can be used instead of a battery to extend the life of the camera. The videos are locked to the event file to prevent them from being overwritten. When the card is full, Seamless loop recording auto-inflates the oldest file. Time lapse takes photos at a set time interval and then edits them to a video clip. Email replies within 24H and a full 18 months warranty are included. The Vantrue microSD Card B07WXH12TC has a capacity of up to 512GB.
👤If you hardwire this camera to your car's battery and leave it on parking mode, it will slowly drain your car's battery. The next time you try to start your car, there are 4 factors that will determine if it will be dead. 1. The amount you drive. If you drive a decent amount, you should be able to charge your car's battery enough to keep the camera alive. If you have a short commute, you may have a net discharge each day. 2. How often do you drive? If you leave your car parked for a few days. If the camera keeps recording, it may drain your battery. Depending on where you park. Where you parked. If you park on a street, in a lot, in a driveway, or in a car port, your camera may be active most of the day. People, cars, trees, and even birds cause your camera to turn on. 4. The type of battery. The average car battery is not designed to be constantly charged and drained. It isn't designed to run for a long time. It's designed to give you a burst of power to start your engine. Your battery's lifespan will shorten if you drain frequently. You can see sulfate crystals on the terminals. Some car batteries are designed to provide both power and sustained power, and they don't lose as much off their lifecycle by draining frequently.
👤The camera was packaged with some items. 1. The front S1 Dash Camera has a second one. Rear camera 3. The mini-USB is a 12 V adapter. The rear camera has a cable to connect to it. There is a mini-usb cable outside of the car. There is a front camera mount. The rear camera mount is 8. There are additional 3M stickers. The only thing you need to add is a card that the manual recommends, so I bought a card that was recommended by the manual. The setup was easy and the sticky mounting part held the camera well for over 3 weeks. The plugs are put in a way that makes it very easy to install yourself and they have 90 degree bend upward so it is very easy to do a professional looking install. If you want to have it hardwired, you can use the included 12V lighter plug to enable recording even when the vehicle is not running. The settings were configured to do a 5 minutes loop. If you have it set to 5 minutes loop, the bigger the memory card, the longer your history will be. It's easy to find and save the clips you need from the split video files. I increased the even sensitivity settings to most sensitive mode. Since I have a lot of storage and time until I have to clean up the clips, it's worth it. There is a button to press if you want to manually lock a file. The neat thing about the software is that you don't have to look for them in hundreds of 5 minute files because they are saved in a separate folder on the microSDXC card. Very nice detail. If you need to connect to perform updates, the front camera is easy to remove. I had a small issue that I had to email support for. I was able to install the update painlessly after they released an update to resolve my issue. If you have an old smaller card that isn't even a phone, it will be useful to use that during the update so you can load the update on that card instead of using the larger card. The camera has been running for 20 days and has not had an issue with power up or power down. All the event based recording have been saved. I would highly recommend this camera for its ease and reliability. You need to get a Samsung card.
4K+1080P dual recording The REDTIGER F7N- Plus dual dash cam records video up to Ultra HD 4K (3840*2160P)+FHD1080P resolutions with a Sony COMS Sensor, which helps you read the key details like road signs, vehicle number plates etc. Important evidence can be retained and presented in the event of a collision, and the front 170 and rear 140 wide-angle dash cameras ensure to reduce blind area. The night vision is superior. The driving recorder has an optical lens with a large F 1.5 and 6 layers and is equipped with a technology that captures important details under low light conditions. The dashboard camera can connect to your phone via built-in wi-fi. You can use the [UCAM] app to view, play, and manage dash cameras on your mobile device. One-click sharing allows you to share your travel scenery and wonderful moments with your friends and family, and you can also download and edit videos in the app. The drive recorder has a built-in gps and records the driving route, real-time speed, location, etc. The car dashboard camera has a number of features that make it an excellent tool for accident recording.
👤These days, a dash cam, jumper cables, tire pressure gauge, and emergency kit are things you should always have in your car. These small cameras can be attached to your dashboard or rear-view mirror in a matter of minutes, and they are relatively inexpensive, so you can save a lot of money in the event of an accident. There are many benefits to having dash cam footage on hand, such as getting a picture of the license plate of the car that side-swiped you on the highway or proving to your insurance provider that you weren't responsible for that fender bender. Here are all my good and not so good points about this model. If you are lucky, you can get a 4k dash- cam, but only if you are lucky. This one is confirmed at 4k. The rear camera has a recorder. When you turn on your car's ignition key, you will start recording. It's easy to install. The large color screen is helpful for setting the camera and reviewing the footage. There is a The box contains everything needed to mount the camera. There is a 3M double sided tape is on it. When I need to remove the camera from the car, the front camera is replaceable. When parking in a high risk parking zone, it's best to leave it there. + The camera has all of the good features you would expect from a good dash- cam, such as parking mode, ultra-wide viewing angle, crash detection, screen auto-sleep, OSD.etc, and aGPS module that can record your speed and display it on the recordings. This can be used to prove that you weren't driving at the speed indicated on the ticket. I can't manually record an emergency video with this camera. The Micro-SD card is not included. The box does not include a pry plastic tool, so I had to use an old one from a previous installation. That is all for today. I hope you enjoy your dash- cam for a long time, as I am enjoying it. If you liked my review, or just want to offer some encouragement, you can click the helpful button. Thank you. Be well.
👤It's really disappointing to know that when you use both cameras, you'll end up with 24 frames per second for the front and rear cameras. They don't mention this in the description. Other cameras sacrifice resolution, but they say so up-front. Will return it. Who wants to pay 150 dollars for a dash cam? There is no setting to correct exposure value. It makes plates unreadable.
👤I replaced my older car with three features. I wanted 4K video, built-in gps, and internet to allow easy download of video without having to remove the card or camera to get my recordings. I compared many dash cams with similar functions and chose REDTIGER. The price and appearance of most products are in line with my expectations. The dash cam does a good job. The video quality is very good. The built-in gps means that your recordings include location information, which can be important for accident investigations, and speed stamp, which is important, without having to run yet another wire and piece separate from the camera. There is a It works well to get videos on your phone. It could be improved. The download speeds are slow and I have confirmed I am getting the expected speeds. It's convenient to have video uploaded or shared quickly. Slow and lacking full information. The impact sensor is nice. You can use this function if you have a hardwire kit. The installation of the dedicated hardwire kit is very easy. It is worth mentioning that REDTIGER's customer service is very nice, you can contact with any usage problems, and will reply and solve the problem very quickly. I have only had the camera for a few days, but so far I have not experienced any issues. The camera has a 12 month warranty. I'm very satisfied with the technical support. In the event that something happens in the future while I'm driving, I need an honest, unbiased witness to the event, and this camera gives me that. I will recommend the dash cam to friends and family members after I install it in my house. I'm sure there are better cameras out there, but at this price point you are getting a lot of camera for your money.
The N4 is a triple channel dash cam which offers 155 front camera, 165 inside camera and 160 rear camera, it can simultaneously monitor the front, rear, and interior of your vehicle. The cam has a 4K 2160P resolution front camera and a1080P rear camera when it is set to front and rear dual recording mode. You can set the settings to record the front, back, or interior of your vehicle in 4K +1080P high resolution. The inside camera has an adjustment that allows for more flexibility and better viewing, ideal for drivers who need to show proof of their activities. The night vision car camera has a Sony STARVIS sensor, a big F1.4 lens, and a 6-glass lens that can increase exposure automatically in dark situations for capture clear videos footage. The motion detection or collision detection parking mode allows the camera to automatically start recording when triggered by a collision event. The dash cam is connected to the hardwire kit at all times and can be bought with an external battery. It is heat resistant with Super. The camera is powered by a superCapacitor that can survive extreme weather conditions from 14F to 158F, making it ideal for hot-weather areas. The lifespan of the batteries is extended by the super Capacitor. Emergency locks the footage to the event folder after an impact. When the card is full, the loop recording will overdub the oldest file. The auto lcd should be off to avoid distraction. If you want to track route, location and speed in KM/H or MP/H, you need to buy the optional gps. The camera comes with an extendable 18-month warranty, costumer support through email within 24 hours, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The product will get new features and continuous improvements. It doesn't support either of those technologies.
👤After getting into an accident on I95 and being chased across 5 lanes by another driver in the HOV lane, I invested in a $300 dash cam in my car. She threw objects at my car. I was trying to get off the ramp when we collided. After taking pictures of my car and trying to claim that I hit her the next day, she began looking to see if I had a dash cam. She doesn't have insurance, and was driving someone else's car. The owner of the vehicle is responsible for the vehicle. After my car was repaired, my windows were tinted and I invested in a dash cam with amazing video quality. I wanted 24 hour parking mode because I live in an apartment complex. When people don't have insurance, they tend to try to take you for everything you have, even if you have good coverage. I feel better with my dash cam that records all three cabins at once, even though I am still in the middle of it with the insurance company. I was able to hardwire my dash cam to an external battery with the help of some videos and my owner's manual, but I don't use it anymore. I am not tech savvy. I am a female nurse who lives alone with her two dogs. I like makeup, sleep and food. I hid the wires in the pillars and weather stripping of my car so that they wouldn't be seen. I connected the back camera to the front, so there is no wires poking out. I will post pics later. I have a Toyota vehicle. The only real issue I ran into was trying to figure out the problem with my car. The battery wouldn't charge from the car. My brother and I found out that I was missing a light in my car. We used the kit from Cell Link instead of using the external hard wire kit from Vantrue. I hid the battery under the drivers seat and the wires in the trimming. The two cameras are the only thing that sticks out. My car is awesome.
👤I turned on the camera after spending an hour installing it. The front camera wire connection started smoking. I pulled the camera cord out and noticed the connecting spots were melting. I'm willing to give the product another chance, but I'm returning the product for now. Amazon is sending a replacement. This gets a single star. DANGEROUS. I will update this review after testing the replacement. The seller gave back $30 and replaced it with a new one. The replacement works well after it is installed.
👤I lost track of many cameras. My previous Junsun was great but it died when the car turned off. I decided to get a new dash camera that saved files. I also got a Vantrue switch, that's even better. I'm very happy with my dash cam. It has cameras. The first camera records to the front, the second to the rear and the third to the inside of the vehicle. The inside camera is great for ride-sharing drivers. The internal camera has night vision, which will make recording passengers much easier. It's great for recording the sides of a car. The video quality is excellent. I do not mean "okay". I don't mean that in a good way. It's great. The best quality vs space usage is determined by the quality settings you choose. I got a card with a large amount of storage because I want to be able to check the content after a night of being parked, and I plan on having it record in parking mode. I would get a smaller capacity card if I only used it while driving. I use the highest resolution to get the best quality video. The rear camera is of the highest quality. I can make out license plates with the rear camera. The cabin camera is very good. The front camera is very good. Really great. The long term benefit of using a super Capacitor instead of a lipo battery is that it will last longer in extreme heat of the sun or extreme cold. I got the camera because I wanted to record the car's surrounding and catch someone if the car was hit from the side. The front and rear cameras can't do that. This one can show the sides of the car with a wide angle. The manual inside the box is easy to follow, but I didn't read it very much since everything is pretty straightforward. The instructions and pictures are easy to follow. The camera had a 12V charging port, camera, rear camera and cable, and window mount. There are three large buttons on the top of the camera. The side has a microSD card slot, an input for the rear camera, a reset button, and HD out. The inside-facing camera can be changed to get better views of the cabin. The mount rotates to get a better view of the outside. The camera has a long cable. I was able to go from the rear of my car to the front. The mount has a turning feature that makes applying the cup to the window very easy. It was easy to set up and get going. The menu system is easy to use. I have a vantrue that splits to power the camera 24/7. I set up a camera. When the car is bumped, the camera will record it for me to review later.
The dual dash cam has a waterproof rear camera and a resolution of1080P. The front camera of the car dash cam captures the license plates and road signs clearly even at night, so you can get the best footage. The cameras help eliminate the blind spots of your vision. When the card is full, loop recording overwrites the old footage with new content. The G-Sensor automatically senses a sudden collision and saves the relevant footage and locks it up. It will prevent any overwriting and protect your video evidence. Don't drive disputes. The dashboard camera supports up to 32 gigabytes of storage. If your car is scratched by someone in parking, the dash cam will start recording as soon as the impact is detected. 24x7 monitoring of your car will ensure your peace of mind. They suggest that you turn off the G-Sensor level, loop recording, motion detection, and parking monitor. The dash camera is easy to install and operate with reference pictures. Attach the power supply to the power supply and then insert the card. When you shut off the engine, the dash camera will start recording immediately after it ignites. If you need more information about operation and installation, please download the user guide. CHORTAU is a remarkable company and believes in driving innovations to add value to their customers. They offer 7 hours of technical support for this dual dash cam. If you have any questions, please contact their customer service team.
👤There are great views of front and rear. It's very easy to start recording. It's great for insurance when you need it. It will save the video of any accidents you may have. The front view video and the rear view video record in separate files.
👤I bought the original about two months ago. It worked well until 3 weeks ago. It is rated for operating temperatures from -86 to +158F. I arrived at work at 6:30 a.m. and left at 7:30 p.m. The outside temperature was 99f. The camera worked for a short time, but then shut down and wouldn't restart, after I returned to my car. I followed all the customer service advice, but it was dead in the water. There was no haggling over the part. They told me that my replacement camera was on the way after several emails. I love the camera and Chortau's customer service is amazing. I would buy this product again.
👤I am amazed at the quality of this camera. This is great if you are looking for a camera for your vehicle. The Scandisk class 10 micro card had an issue with the camera. I unplugged it from the power and plugged it back in and it started recording. You have to buy a card, but they are cheap now. I paid $10 for a 64 gig and it lasts almost a week and a half before it starts removing older videos. The rear camera had an issue. The mount that came with my truck didn't work because my back window was flat. I got some 3M automotive tape and made a "L" shaped bracket after paying $3 for it at home depot. I have had the unit for two weeks and am happy I bought it. It's great for around $40. We are going to buy another one for my SUV.
👤The camera is decent for the price, but it didn't work the day I bought it. I sent them a message and they said they would send me a new rear camera, but I haven't received any information or a new rear camera in months.
👤This is my first camera purchase. It has been great so far, and I think the quality is great and there are no blurry pictures. The video works well.
👤I think I am a road killer. I have had three crashes in the past year. The accidents were all about my car being hit. I bought a dash cam just like I bought good insurance to prove I am not at fault in accidents. I thought when I installed this device on my car that it would be five stars. I took it out of the car to write. I only took one picture and it was taken when I was shaking. Hopefully you can see how clear and detailed it is. The night vision is clear. The camera is easy to install. It is small and beautiful. I didn't feel it when I was driving. It is a loop recording. I don't have to worry about memory space. I am very happy with it so far. It is a great shopping experience.
This dual dash camera can record both front and rear in Full HD 1296P+1080P at 30 frames per second. Wide Dynamic Range Technology balances the extreme variations of bright and dark conditions, ensuring high contrast and excellent scene reproduction. The Sony sensor makes details easy to see and restores the true colors. It's easy to connect R1 with built-in wi-fi. Your phone has a wi-fi dash cam. You can download the footages from the dash camera without taking the micro SD card out. The loop recording and memory card allow for efficient storage management. The oldest file will be erased by the newest to make room for the new recording. The recording time can be up to 40 hours. The G-sensor function will keep the important recordings from being overwritten if the vibrations are detected. The extra long 26 feet cable makes it easy to install in your SUV and cable management. The operating temperature is 14f-158f when plugged in. The storage temperature was -4f-158f while using the battery power for the parking monitor. There is a dual port car accessory included.
👤It's still a good buy for the price. Some of the same flaws as the previous model are still present, but there are a lot of improvements. You can record your route, download recordings to your mobile device, and control the dash cam from your mobile device with the mobile app. It is not recommended to modify dash cam settings while driving. The picture is clearer. The night vision option is better than the other one, but I wanted more artificial lighting for the vision. If you want a back-up camera on your car with a larger display, this is still an excellent option, although I ended up using glue to keep it up because the mount would fall. If you are worried about resale or having a lease, the suction cup can work for a while. It would be better if the mount option hung off the mirror. You will have to glue or use gorilla tape to keep the camera up. The dash cam records excellent video, and has preset options, and better power management options. If your car is parked at work or something, you probably want an external battery with a foldout solar panel if you want that option, as the parking monitor is unlikely to last more than a few hours. There are improvements to be made, except for the artificial brightening of the rear camera, which I had with my previous model. The new model has one major step backwards, which should be solved by a firmware upgrade. The old headlight alarm had a loud sound, but it could have been louder. The new alarm is so quiet that you could easily miss it, but it will keep going off even when you have your headlights on. When the camera has external power, I recommend 1-2 headlight alarms, with a different and louder tone. I don't care if you reuse the tone in the camera. It's so annoying that I'll probably shut it off because it's a really nice safety feature for older cars that don't turn on automatically. I would still recommend it, but it would be better if it had a mount to hang it from the rear-view mirror. Video is included. Sorry for the quality of the shot. I learned a few things after shooting it. The update is (UPDATED). I went back to my old camera. The night vision displayed was not up to par. Went to 3 stars.
👤The camera is decent. The one thing that's taking my rating down is that you can set loop minutes and sensitivity settings that won't hold onto changes. It's too sensitive and nothing can make the emergency recording off. I tried to turn the sensitivity down but it wouldn't stay on the settings I wanted, so I went back to the factory settings. It will change from drive mode to park mode and back to factory settings. The emergency recording does not have an apparent Trigger. Yesterday my car was broken into by rocks being thrown at it and windows smashed. The emergency recording will still be set off by something, even though it didn't work out. It's useless.
The REDTIGER F7N-S dash cam records top quality video up to Ultra HD 4K 3840*2160P@30fps, 2560*1440P@60fps or 1920*1080P@ 120fps resolutions with Sony. The backup car camera has a 170 wide-angle lens to capture more scenes on the road. It's a perfect choice for your vehicles. The front car camera has a large lens and is able to capture important details under low light conditions. With the professional WDR technology, it automatically adjusts the camera exposure and ensures the clarity of images even at night. Car license plates are easy to see. The 4K dash cam has built-in wi-fi and a smart phone app. It's convenient to operate live preview, playback, and device management on your smart phone with the "UCAM"app. The built-in gps module accurately records your driving location and speed. If an accident occurs, you can view your driving route and tracker on the map via the App or with their Windows and Mac compatible gps viewer. The Super Capacitor can resist the risk of overheating and exploding. The F7N single front car camera is easy to install and use. There was no complicated wiring installation. You should bring a trouble-free experience. When the G-SNESOR senses a sudden shock or collision, the car cam will lock it. Saves it. When the card is full, the loop recording auto overwrites the oldest file, which saves memory space, and the parking mode allows the dash cam to record continuously for 24 hours at a time. Their greatest goal is to satisfy the needs of consumers. The dash camera is backed by a 1-year warranty. They will answer your questions if you email them. They offer 24 hours of technical support.
👤The picture quality is not working correctly. The camera size is small and it has too many features. When I install it on my car, the video stops every second on the monitor when the card is taken out, but I switch to a different card because the card works perfectly on another dash cam. I format it in the camera after it's installed.
👤I like how easy it is to remove the camera from the cup and take it with you to the house, other dash cams that I owned and sent back were so hard to remove the camera from the cup. I own a dash cam and it doesn't have a screen at an angle, you have to look straight at the screen to hear the audio. Since I put the camera up, I have seen other drivers go through a red light, stop sign, and even connect to their cell phone on their cell phone network. You can see that the video is playing a dot which is your vehicle moving. It is very accurate and you can see the speed at which you are going in the video when you are playing it back. The camera is small and compact, it's not noticeable when on the road, because of the size of the camera.
👤There are a few videos on the internet that show the quality of the video recorded by this dash cam, so there is no need for me to elaborate here. The quality of the audio recording is great, the gps is fast to get a lock, and I like the use of ausb plug for connecting the power. I have other cams that use a pin-type connector for power that are unreliable and prone to failure, and I have found them to fall out of the camera during off-road use. The camera has a power cable for theusb. It has a 90-degree car power plug on one end and a 90-degreeusb plug on the other, which is enough to reach the back seat of a small SUV. The model has a small and easy to install mount. It allows the camera to fit in between the mirror and the windshield, if you don't need to look at the screen. If you want to view the screen, the mount will attach to any smooth surface. I have only a few comments on the companion app that's installed on my phone, because I'm just now getting familiar with it. The app was easy to install, easy to figure out what buttons did, and helpful in adjusting the view of the camera whenever access to the screen on the camera was obscured. I have several different drive cam's, and my phone requires going to the settings menu to connect to them. You can use the app to download and view recorded data without having to remove the memory chip from the camera. There are several different versions of the camera's internal firmware floating around. Older versions don't allow the playing of recorded videos and photos on the camera screen, while newer versions do. If an update is available, you can check with Redtigre. I have contacted Redtiger several times and found them to be very helpful and very fast to respond. I give them five stars because of the quality of the dash cam and their customer service.
The video can be recorded in 3 minute intervals. When the storage limit is reached, new recordings will automatically be added to the old ones. Important footage is kept protected when the current video is locked because of the built-in gravity sensor. Videos that are locked will be kept safe. One-hand operation touch screen. The dual dash cam makes each operation more simple and responsive, such as navigating the menus and settings, locking the current video. The user interface is friendly and thoughtful. Saving your time having to modify each feature individually is one of the benefits of selecting a preset optimal mode. Your on-the-way testimony. The dash camera has a single front camera that can record both front and rear in Full HD. The front and rear ultra wide 155-degree viewing angles show more of the road around you. More details are captured with a 6 layer glass lens. Clear and easy to play back is ensured by the support of the PIP mode. There is a clear night vision with WDR technology. 👤I was able to record an accident and be a witness. I drop the resolutions to 480p. I could share with you. The original video was in high definition and showed every detail of the road.
👤This is the best dash cam I've owned yet, I have owned 4-5 other ones. This one is only for the touch screen. Don't buy a camera that isn't touch screen because it makes life so much easier. When I needed to replay a video after an incident, I spent 10 minutes pressing buttons to figure out the menu system, because my last camera was not a touch screen. It's difficult to figure out how to navigate the menu system if you're a bit shaken up by an event, because the menu buttons are very small, and it's typically low light inside the car. The T4's touch screen menu system is so easy that you don't need to read the user's guide. You can read the license plate on the screen when you play back the video. The rear camera works well. I use it as a back-up camera and leave it on "rear view" at all times, which is very useful when changing lanes because it will show you cars behind you that are in your blind spot. That is worth the price of admission. It's a no-brainer to setup. The backup camera cable is enough for any car. I mounted the camera on the trim using the 3M double-side glue that came with it. Zero issues! I can view the dash cam with Picture-in-Picture to show both front and rear, or turn it off. I leave it on the rear view only. It will always record front and rear video regardless of which view you have on. You'll never go back to buttons if you use a touch screen dash cam. No one complains about the quality of the video.
👤You can watch a full video review on you tube. The Dad's Den reviews are on the channel. This is the Dad's Den Review. I help you make better decisions about the products you want to buy. My goal is to help you work smarter. I reviewed the Z-Edge T4 Touch Screen dual lens dash cam. I rate my reviews on how well they perform for the cost of the item. I don't expect a dual dash camera that costs $180 to perform at the same rate as a dash cam that costs $500. The dash cams were easy to install and made of hard plastic. I accidentally dropped the camera a couple times. The cables were long enough to reach the back of my vehicle. The glue came in handy. I was very impressed with the performance of this camera. The cameras were clear and crisp. It shoots in a very high quality. The videos during night driving were clear. I like the additional features and modes of shooting. Each mode has a purpose. I liked the parking mode because it can capture things that might happen to your vehicle even if you're not around. I think this dash cam performs well for the price. I know there are a lot of dual dash cam on the market, but this one definitely lives up to the hype.
The Rove R2-4k dash camera can record videos up to a resolution of 2160p. The quality of the video recording is so good that it will not be as clear as other dash cam. By using the app, you can download your 4k videos directly to your smart phone and then easily share them on social media with friends and family. This car camera can be upgraded for free. 👤This is my third camera. The only one that's good is that one. I base it on the ones I have. The first one was good, but the second one was not very good. The night vision on this one is good, but it is blurry, so you can't tell if someone hit you, or if you witnessed an accident. The clarity of the pictures is shown in the photos I put up. The pictures are clear but grabbed from moving pictures. The things I like about it. How fast you are going, what direction you are going, and your coordinates are all recorded by the gps device. If a cop pulls you over and says you're doing 65 in a 55 zone, you have video proof of how fast you were. 2. You can use your video camera to take pictures of places and things, even if you don't have a video camera. It's a great cam and might have to carry a battery pack for power. 3. I can use my phone to see what it sees. It's not going to be long but you can connect and watch what's going on if you're close enough. 4. The mount for the cup is the best I've seen. Other mounting options are also available. I chose this and it's great. 5. I can make a video of 1, 3, 5, and 10 minutes. You can do 4gb per video, but at the highest setting, you're not going to get much, and once the card is full, it won't overwrite old files. The other settings will work. 6. You can watch the video on a variety of devices. 7. You can see your videos, but it will show you on a map where you are during the video. Quality is why I ordered this one, if you do have an accident or witness one like I did, it's because of that. You are covered. You can see for yourself in the pictures I posted, but it could be a bit more for my liking. I don't like the size of the screen but I knew it was posted in the description so I can't complain. The camera is still great, even though a larger screen would be nice.
👤The camera is clear and easy to use once you know what the buttons do. I sat down and read the book that came with it in a different way so that I could understand it better. I haven't set it to 4K yet because the video is at default settings. I recommend the 128 class sd card for it as it records without freezing. If I have any problems, I will post an update. So far, so good. I will update when I use the app, but I can't say yet because I haven't used it. I haven't used the player yet, but I downloaded it for Mac and it's compatible with both PCs and Macs. I will update again once I use these features. I finally used the app and it worked well for me. I was able to see my videos when I connected to it. I don't know how to use the player. I thought the sd card would read from the video player and show me the data, but it wasn't the case. Please let me know if anyone can figure it out. I bought a kit so that I could plug the camera into the fuse box for a direct power source, because I integrated the camera into my video. It was easy to do and now it turns off when the vehicle is turned off. If you have parking mode on, it will turn back on if you shake your vehicle, but it shuts off after recording an impact. When I turned my vehicle back on, it said "parking mode was activated" so I knew I needed to check it out right away. The video is fantastic. I will update again when I learn to work with the player. There is an update on 12-18-2019. I have figured out everything so far. My son wanted a one like it, so I bought another one. He loved how easy it was and how much he was kept up to date on the cam. When we ordered it, they contacted us. They said they would be happy to speak to us over the phone with a live agent if we needed anything. An agent is live! They were nice. I have not had a problem with this cam. I recommend it to others. I'm going to buy another one for my husband because they're having a sale on it. Can you tell me a Christmas gift? There is a 25% off code on the website. I think it is ROVEVIP25 to get 25% off. This is a great car. I couldn't have asked for more. I am a loyal customer.
Nexar Pro provides the ultimate protection by recording both the road and the cabin of a car. The road view camera has a 135 wide screen. 👤Don't buy this dash cam from Amazon. I don't buy anything from Amazon. If the cam stops working after the return window closes, you will be stuck with a cam that doesn't work. If you purchase a cam through Amazon, they will refer you to the store that sells it. You won't be able to get the warranty throughNexar because you didn't purchase it from them but from Amazon. Buy from Amazon at your own risk.
👤I take privacy very seriously. It's terrible that a camera requires you to record tour routes by gps for it to work without giving you the option of just recording. Extra information and emergency situations can be helped by gps tracking. It can also be a privacy issue for some people. Unless a hard-brake event or an accident is detected, I would like to have the option to not record gps information. The recordings are high quality. It responds well to hard-brakes and the app is great. It will keep recording for hours after you turn off your vehicle.
👤The internal camera is a huge pain, I'm using this for rideshare. In order to get video from the internal camera, you need to create a clip while the customer is sitting there. You can't retrieve any internal video after the ride ends. The external video saves to your phone and uploads to the cloud. Who thought of this terrible process? Had I known what a pain this is to use, I wouldn't have bought it. Considering returning it.
👤You see, it's not compatible with Android. They built it for the iPhone and then made it compatible with the other operating systems. I'm considering returning it and using another brand because of the problems on the phone. This is turning out to be a nightmare on the phone. I am a driver. My drives are very long. I drove for 6 hours straight and it only plays black for 20 seconds. The full 6hr trip is shown in the trip details. I have an entire night of driving blank. This is not good at all and the word "compatible" should be used byNexar instead. I am not happy with this product. There is an update. Absolutely gaga is how to confirm this product. It was difficult to get it to work. It worked. Thedash cam is not found. No matter what I do, it won't recognize it anymore. After submitting 3 technical support tickets,Nexar failed to get back to me. Any company that ignores their customers is a money hungry fraud. I will return the trash.
👤I bought a dash cam with gps because I wanted to read my mph during video play. It doesn't do this. If you want to review video on the app, you need to have your location services turned on all the time. The phone is hot when I drive so I keep my location services on and charge it. You should have a hot phone when you drive. Garbage product is not recommended to anyone.
No worry about the charging problems of mobile phones/ mobile electronic devices even thought using this dual dash cam. You can use the f1.8 and WDR tech to view clear detail on a car dash cam or PC. The car cameras with the 32G card can be used for loop recording. The dash cam front and rear will be full of storage. 30 frames per second videos and 12MP pictures are available with this dash cam for cars front and rear. You can turn off the screen auto for the camera in the car and still keep recording. 30 seconds/1 Min. Plug and play front dash cam will allow you to securely mount the cup to the window in seconds. The car dash camera is easy to use for new users. If you don't need the Reversing Mode, the rear camera can be installed and hidden. You can rest the factory setting and fix the freeze if you use the needble to insert the little hole. There are other questions. Installation of dual dash camera - rear cam cable is done by connecting the red part of the rear cam cable to the positive pole of the reversing light. If your car already has a reversing system monitor, you don't need to connect the red wire. The cable is ok to hide. The rear camera can recordking at reversing peroid. The dash cam is already in the Dash Car Camera. They have collected the earliest data and feedback to upgrade their products, improve problems, and provide a great after-sales experience as a seller of dash cam and suppliers of other car camera sellers. If you need the longer extension cable for the rear camera, you can get it. 6M's rear cam cable is in the package. Please trust them.
👤Don't buy this. The batteries for the cameras have not worked since I received them. There is no spare battery in this camera. 10 seconds after the car is shut off, there is no motion activation. I was hit in a parking lot. I have no recording because of the poor quality of the camera.
👤Several cameras didn't work for me. I bought this one because it had all the requirements I needed. It is easy to set up. You don't need to worry about turning it on when you drive because continuous recording is automatic. The card is a micro-sd card. It's built in Locked Video Mode. It will lock and protect a video should I ever need it for proof of an accident, because it will detect any shock or hit and alert you that the video clip in progress has been locked against accidental deletion. The front and back cameras take great videos. I would recommend this to anyone. I will buy another one for my dad on Father's Day.
👤The menus built into the unit are not enough for it to use. The offer that the SD is included is worthless. You can install a 64G card. The instructions are below average. The product worked well despite a lot of guessing. The car accident happened after a professional installation by Best Buy. I just unplugged the unit from the car and put the card in theusb jack. I put the card on the back of the jack. The videos were of great clarity when I put theusb into my PC. The other driver was at fault, so I saved it on the PC and sent it to the police.
👤I bought it because it doesn't record the rear camera. Why would anyone want a camera that doesn't record? The front. I think it would be better to buy the front camera instead of both.
👤The viewscreen is not stated in the description. The problem is that the sunglasses are not vertically aligned. The screen is black because of the two opposite polarizations cancelling each other out. I will return the camera for a different one. For the good news. The camera works well. It's clear and there is no glare. The directions and instillation are straight forward. It can be difficult to install the backup camera. The controls are difficult but not something that you wouldn't get over with time. Since I am returning the camera because of the problem with the polarization, you need to know that the seller has taken care of any problems or questions. I am changing my rating to four stars. This might be the camera for you if you don't have the glasses.
👤It is easy to install. The camera is held well by the mount. The camera is easy to use. I can hide it behind the rear mirror and not notice it, which is what I wanted. The camera menu is easy to understand. A good product.
👤The quality of the product will be good. It is affordable and I love it.
