You can use your own coffee through their HomeBarista elite Cuisinart features if you choose to use one of the three serving sizes. There is a particular function. When you have finished your brew, enjoy the energy save mode, because their single-serve brewer has a 40oz water tank that is compatible with travel mugs. The glass carafe coffee maker has a fully automatic feature that allows you to brew up to 12 cups of coffee at the same time. Must-have features. Their 12-cup coffee brewer allows you to control your brew strength so you can boast light to strong coffee flavor as well as adjust your carafe water temperature that runs through its charcoal water filter. You can sip a cup before your brew cycle ends with their Brew Pause feature.
👤We decided to upgrade our home coffeemaker after 20 years of using it. The model with the two methods of brew looked like a great choice. The setup instructions and registration were completed when we received it. The single serve side was completely malfunctioning. The water was leaking from the counter before the single-serve side was used. We only got one cup of coffee when we used it for the first time. The coffee grounds were all over the counter after the next cup was made. When asked, Cuisinart offered zero support. If you are going to spend this amount of money, it should work out perfectly. We will return this for a refund and return our $20 coffeemaker. I don't think we will consider another product from Cuisinart.
👤The machine was sexy. The bronze color is very pretty and works well in my kitchen design. The bronze color added to the cost, but I couldn't resist the attraction; it was love at first sight. I read the reviews. Some were good and some were bad. I attributed the bad reviews to people who didn't know what they were doing because I was in awe of the sleekness and color. The machine arrived in April. It was even better in person. I was excited to wash it and set it up. This was the highlight of the week. The first pot of coffee in the new machine was very good. Score! The side with the coffee. The first few times it worked out well. It's easy to clean up. The coffee dripped very intermittently which caused a lot of splashing, as some reviews stated. There was a coffee machine on the counter. I decided I could live with that. It was a pretty appliance. There is a The first sign of poor decision making came. There was a random Tuesday morning. The grounds fell into the cup and got stuck inside the k-cup compartment. Okay, a mistake. I thought I did something wrong. It couldn't possibly be my new machine. Then it happened again. But worse. Coffee was splashed everywhere. A cup was wasted. Again. I cleaned the mess and tried again. This time is free of problems. I did a do-over cup of coffee. The process of one good cup and one bad cup continued for a while. It became one good cup and two bad cups. I had to admit that my judgement was clouded after six months after buying the machine. I allowed the prettyness to get the better of me after reading reviews. I cleaned up a lot of messes, but I can't count them all. I apologize to all previous reviewers. I ignored their negative reviews because I thought they were just not doing something right. I was the one not doing it correctly. I was not trusting their experiences. I had to learn the lesson the hard way. Random strangers tried to prevent me from seeing the machine that was so beautiful. I should have trusted you. I am very happy for the other random strangers who have had good luck with this appliance. Don't trust beauty over brains, that's the bottom line. Don't buy this product and save yourself a lot of trouble. The product did not hit the mark, but it is usually a trusted brand. The mark is not in view. I used the product correctly and I am an intelligent person, yet the appliance failed miserably. More than once. More than I can count. The search for a 2 in 1 coffeemaker/single brew machine begins again. Don't buy this product, trust my experience, please. Don't try to be like the teenager who did things better just to learn the hard way. No one has time for that. It's a good thing!
Plastic and steel are the types of fabric. The box has a thermal carafe and mesh ground coffee filter. Coffee and k cup Pods can be used to brew a cup. A strong brew includes a single cup and carafe. There are multiple brew sizes, including a 6, 8, 10, or 12 ounce cup. The water can be positioned to the right, left or along the back of the brewer to maximize counter space. The thermal carafe keeps coffee warm for up to 2 hours. You can program your coffee maker to automatically brew a carafe.
👤This is a better coffee maker than we have owned before. The 10 ranged from cheap to $200. It feels solid. The parts fit together better. * The coffee is kept warm for more than 12 hours. There is no need for a warm place. The design is superior. The buttons are easy to use and all in one place. Even under a cabinet, you can easily get access to the coffee filters. The water can be moved to either side or back. There is a * There is no need to measure the water for each brew. Set the number of cups with the brew buttons by filling the water reservoir. The coffee maker leaves the rest of the water in the container. The thing is well designed and made.
👤9/3 I bought a coffee maker. This is my first experience with a product of my own. We bought this unit at a popular Bed and Bath retailer after shopping around for several weeks. It is well built and looks great. It is making a nice cup of coffee. I went to set up the auto-start function for the carafe for a full pot in the morning. No instructions! The unit only comes with a guide. I searched the internet and couldn't find anything. I called their customer service number. The first lady said there were no instructions for that model. We went Eco-friendly to save paper. She said that it was a Quick-Start program. Tomorrow you will have to talk to corporate. The lady on the phone said that she would call me tomorrow between 8:00 and 4:00 to give me the instructions that are not included with the coffee maker. Are you serious? Isn't they embarrassed? This is the first time I've seen a machine. Not flustered! Maybe the corporate representative will call me tomorrow. I am not sure. Customer service was less than stellar for me. The other duo brewers are good for anyone considering this unit. There is an edit on 9/6/19. A person from Keurig called me. He said that they are trying to save paper and limited manual. He agreed that the instructions in the box would be better. He told me that in the future they would have instructions for the K-Duo Plus on their website. This seems to be a very well made coffee maker. It makes a fine cup of coffee, and once you figure out how to use all the functions, it works very well.
👤This machine is space efficient and stream-lined for a duo. It is much easier to fit the water canister in your space if it is placed on either side or in the back. The carafe is very well insulated, keeping your coffee fresh and hot. When I tasted their Earl Grey K-Cups, I was hooked on the device. I like the fact that I can brew a K-cup of tea right after my coffee, and there is no coffee taint in my tea. You don't have to remove the used grounds from the drip brewer. My husband likes that he can program the timer to start his coffee in the mornings, and it's not an unusual feature on coffee makers these days, but it's very easy to figure out how to get the machine set up. I was skeptical when the K-cup craze began. A superior brew can be produced from the quality, well-designed, intuitive product that Keurig makes. My husband finally has the coffee maker of his dreams after using this machine. The function of the coffee maker stopped working after three weeks. It was very slow and would only brew about half of a carafe. Four days have passed since I contacted them via email, and no response has been given. A piece of paper was given with the coffee maker that said to contact them with any problems, not Amazon. I admit that I did not initiate contact as I was told, because this piece of paper disappeared. Since I got this for free, I didn't expect a coffee maker or anything, but an acknowledgment would have been nice. I am not sure if this model is out for mass sale, but I hope they figure out why it wouldn't work after three weeks.
The 1 to 4 cup option is the best option for smaller quantities of brew. The FULLY AUTOMATIC COFFEE BREWER has an auto-off function. The temperature is controlled. The variable plate for temperature control has different settings. 12-CUP GLASS CARAFE: Features a black handle, a lid, and a knuckle guard. The gold-tone coffee filter and built-in charcoal water filter ensure only the freshest coffee flavor flows through, as well as the measuring scoop and the coffee starter kit. North American electrical standards. The product was built to meet the standards.
👤The first pot was great. On the counter, it looks very nice. It had a three-year warranty when it was registered. I was very pleased with the purchase. Two Mr. Coffee high-end machines have been lost. The clean light came in after 3 months and after trying to clean it per directions over a 4x unit, the brew was extremely slow and didn't brew all of the water. I had to speak to the manufacturer because the return window had expired. I was told that I would have to pay shipping charges both ways. If you're going to be out $25 for a warranty that doesn't work, what's the use of one? Very dissatisfied.
👤The delivery was received on Sept 14. It has been using daily and has destroyed itself. The water hoses on the counter have crumbled apart after my husband took off the bottom plate under the coffee maker. There are marks on the underside. I am so upset about this. I expect your product to be used for at least 6 months and no crazy fire hazard if I spend this kind of money on it.
👤It was purchased May 2013). Even after multiple attempts to clean, water doesn't get into the coffee basket. It has been a champ before. It was used almost daily. Really like the options for temperature and auto off. We bought the newer model at the same price point, so we're going to look for other options before we update: We might buy this again and just figure on another three-year lifespan, but we're going to look for other options too. I think it's a good idea. There are some nice features. They get 14 cups instead of 12 cups because it is not taller or deeper. The coffeemaker has a water measurement on the side of it. It offers a bold setting which does strengthen the coffee, but not what we need. An option to turn off the tones completely. The hot water drips onto the ground coffee through the holes in the lid. The DCC-1200 had more holes around the center. This led to more splashing of the coffee grounds, which would often lead to grounds spilling over into the reservoir, leading to cleaning issues, and shortening the lifespan of the carbon filters. I can tell the hot water dispersion is more even because the coffee grounds are neatly packed. I can't say for sure about the longevity. I have a prediction that the DCC-1200 and the DCC-3200 will have a 3 year warranty.
👤The customer service needs to be fixed because this product does not work. I bought this about a year before the self cleaning would stop the brew. I would follow the instructions to clean it and it would light up again. I replaced it myself. I have had this model since September and it started again two months ago. I contacted customer service and they told me that even though I did it the other day, I had to do it again. I waited a few weeks before contacting them. I went through several days of trying to get coffee and finally it was time to email back and I did. I was told that they wouldn't do anything if I didn't send them proof of purchase. I wouldn't call them about a coffee pot. I did. The reply was that we will replace it. We don't pay for shipping either way or tax, so they require me to pay them a small fee to ship me the new one. I had to pay to get the old one back. I had to do it with extra tracking. I am done.
There are two separate easy-fill water reuses. The Hamilton Beach coffee maker has a water window that lets you know exactly how much water to add, as well as a water reservoir that is easy to fill. A fresh flaVOR LONGER without the carAFE. The coffee maker replaces the carafe with fresh coffee at a moment's notice. Without a carafe, there's no way to clean coffee stains. There will be no more shards or burred coffee. Coffee is warm and fresh for hours with the Hamilton Beach coffee maker. Coffee won't burn or scorch, because it works without a carafe. When you're ready one fresh cup at a time, hot coffee. The 12 cup coffee maker can make a cup of coffee in a minute by simply pressing the bar. Quickly fill your cup with coffee. It's easy to fill with recycled water. The water is easy to fill and clean. You can brew enough coffee for everyone at once with a 12 cup capacity. When it's time to clean the coffee maker, there are helpful reminders on the digital display.
👤If you only want to use it for a year, it is a wonderful coffee maker. The design of this is so flawed, you will find the flow of the pour decreasing and decreasing, all the while cleaning it. Even though it never gets clean, it still wants more cleaning. It will take you 68 minutes to fill a cup of coffee, as it trickles out at the speed of an icicle. One day, you will see more coffee on your countertop than your cup. You will assume that you are tired and spilling your coffee in a non-caffeinated state. You take the blame. It is not you. Hamilton Beach is against you. They designed a machine to test your patience and convince you that you are insane. It torments you with the request to clean. It will make you feel bad until you throw it out the door. I have heard that. I wouldn't do that.
👤I retired this POS to the trash in September 2019. I have added two new photos to show how the leak has gotten worse. The model was poorly designed. I have never had a coffee pot leak like this before. I replaced it with a Bonavita and am very happy. I've owned two previous versions of this model, and bought this one because I really like this design and it was time to replace the old one. I have had a new one for 3 months and I think it has been a good trial. There are pros and cons. There is no glass to break. Digital programming for coffee strength, different settings for "keep warm", and timer are easy to use and great to have. When the coffee is ready, be loud. Makes coffee quickly. Coffee tastes good after being on " keep warm" for 2 hours. It's under the kitchen cabinet on the sink. The press-to-pour lever works well. Light colored interior numbers on the chamber make it easy to see when you have poured the correct amount of water. There are some things that are CONS: I can't say I'm a fan of the water/ coffee chamber. It's harder to clean than the old model, and if you pour the water too much it will splash out. There is a small gap along the back vertical part of the water/coffee chamber, which is not sure why. The coffee lever has a mug rest under it. A mug of a normal size cannot fit on there. The biggest problem is IT leaving. See photo. Coffee leaks more when I make 10 cups than when I make 4. It does not appear to leak when the lever is pushed to get the coffee, so it is not certain where the leak is coming from. There are other things to note. The lid was not always on the old model. The lid flips up on this model. I have to move the coffeemaker back and forth. I sometimes hit the clock/timer buttons accidentally. The mug rest detaches easily for cleaning, but is loose. It's not worth the money, it leaks, and it requires a lot of effort to keep it from staining the counter top.
The K Mini Plus coffee maker is available in a variety of colors with silver detailing on the handle and drip tray and is sleek simplicity meets modern style. You can brew your own coffee with a single-serve scoop filter. In less than 90 seconds, you can brew an 8-ounce cup and a 14-ounce travel mug. It can be made with your choice of coffee grounds. A custom cup is a single-serve cup that can be made with regular or bold options. It is easy to clean and durable. There is a stand for coffee mugs. Automatic shutoff after brewing, a spill-resistant drip tray, and more are great features. Coffee grounds should be filled to the lowest line on the scoop filter to prevent overflows. Coffee beans can overflow if you over grind them. For a stronger cup of coffee, use a medium grind size that's appropriate for a standard automatic coffee maker. Even if the brew button is pushed, the unit will not brew without water in the water storage tank.
👤I was hesitant to order this coffee maker because of the reviews, but I have used it daily for a month and I am very happy with it. I filled it with white vinegar and ran it through a cycle to remove the plastic taste before I poured plain water. I will do this once a month for cleaning. I cannot drink coffee because of my damaged adrenal system, but I can drink a drink. I call it my faux coffee because you brew it like coffee. I need a coffee maker for my company. I wanted one that made individual serving without the K cups. The machine is easy to use and clean. There are 2 plastic parts that look like steps in the back wall of the tank. The lower one reads 8 ounces and the higher one reads MAX so you just fill up those with water. The metal and 2nd mesh filters are used to catch small particles that may get through them. You can either rinse the 3 parts or make another cup after you brew them, but you should dump the grinds after you brew. I like to leave the lid open to dry. It looks like the seal would pop off to clean, but it hasn't gotten dirty. I haven't tried that yet. It does a great job on the bold setting which drips a little slower than the regular setting. It can splatter a few drops on the sides or front of the mug, but there is no major mess. I use.
👤I have this unit for over a year and it's now out of warranty. I loved it when I first got it, it was so easy to use, and it was perfect for a household where only one person drinks coffee, so affordable. If you have a tall mug, it will splatter coffee onto your counter, but I could deal with that. Strange things began happening after about 7 months of use. The coffee tasted gross and watery, and after I opened the coffee basket area, I could see water in the grounds, which had never happened before. The brew time for "bold" went from a few minutes to about 30 seconds - and even worse, the watery coffee that it made began to taste like plastic-y chemicals. I use only spring water and run a solution of water and vinegar through my unit every so often to keep it clean. This product is junk. I kept hoping that it would get better, so I didn't invoke my warranty, but I had to pour the coffee down the sink because the plastic taste was so bad. If you like spending the money and getting 6 months of use out of it, you might want to buy something else.
👤I like the design and how easy it is to use, but something strange is happening. I like the smell and taste of plastic in my coffee. I've used regular water to flush out the taste, filters, and coffee brands. It is still there. They sent me a new one after I called the company. The taste was still there after I cleaned it a few times. I'm going to try running hot water a few more times to see if it makes a difference. I love it so I don't want to get rid of it. I want regular coffee. They sent me a new one and it works great, but I had to pay for a box and send the old one back. They wouldn't allow a local Amazon affiliate to take it back.
Coffee that is gold-standard by the Specialty Coffee Association. You can brew by the cup or the carafe. The optional brew basket accessory is included with the single-serve capability. The Specialty Coffee Association's Golden Cup standard is met by Better Brew precision. The shower head distributes water evenly. Double-wall, vacuum-insulated thermal carafe with brew-through, pour-through lid reduces heat loss. The well cover can be removed to make room for taller mugs. Convenient cleaning mode is available.
👤This is a great coffee maker. It gets the water hot enough for excellent extraction, and it is a really good alternative for those who use k-cups. It will taste better than a k-cup coffee if you brew a single cup. This is a simple coffee maker for those who just want a good cup of coffee. I used my Thermapen to check the temperature at the shower head, and it came out at 200 F, the perfect temperature for coffee making. When I make a pour over coffee, I always heat my water to 200. It seems to be a good spot for my taste. It is very easy to use. You hit the power button and push the button. It is easy. If you are making a single cup, make sure to measure the water for the cup or you will have overflow or not enough water. There is an overflow under the cup area. If you are making a single cup of coffee, use your clean coffee cup to measure the water in to the tank. The cup needs to be clean. Coffee oils will ruin your tank. If your cup is dirty. If you use the carafe to measure water, it needs to be clean. You will get funky coffee. A clean measuring cup or Brita pitcher is needed. The carafe pours cleanly. It's inside and out. It keeps coffee hot. The handle is comfortable to grasp and easy to pour. There is no timer or clock. You can not set it to brew coffee when you wake up. Use. A basket filter is needed for coffee making. Single serve coffee can be served with a Kalita Wave #185. If you don't want to purchase the Kalita filters, you could cut down a small basket filter. The Kalita are great filters. I clean my coffee machine with a mixture of water and a small amount of citric acid. descaling can be done with bicyle acid, which is inexpensive. It is used in coffee machine descaling cleaners. After descaling, run plain water through the machine. You may need to do this more often if you have hard water. The coffeemaker won't work properly. Coffee will not taste as good. After making coffee, I wash my brew cone with soap and hot water. You need to keep your equipment clean if you want good tasting coffee. Coffee oils build up and get rancid, making your coffee taste weird. A build up of oils in the carafe lid can cause it to plug, overflow, and not pour clean. There is a 2 year warranty.
👤The US Cup has 8 US fluid Oz. Oxo changed the definition of a cup to 5 ounces so they could say it was an 8 cup coffee maker. I am returning the machine because it doesn't fit what I wanted.
👤We like coffee. My husband and I both drink coffee. We have been using a beverage. I was looking for coffee makers as I drink a lot. I saw the new Oxo 8 cup and it was the shower head that made me choose Oxo. I love my Chemex and didn't have high expectations. I wanted to give it a try. The coffee machine arrived within a few days and we are very happy with it. I think we will put our coffee maker in the basement. The Carafe keeps the coffee hot for an hour or so, and the single serve option has mug adjustment, which is easy to use. If you're looking for coffee for large crowds, this might not be a good fit. We have the ability to choose our favorite coffees. One of us can enjoy a good cup of coffee and the other can not. We love the taste of our coffee and how we each can make our own coffee with our preferred coffee, I still drink dark roast and enjoying trying different wonderful coffee types. I will order Oxo 8 cup from Amazon if something happens to our coffee machine.
DRIP stop. Pour a cup. Coffee with a strong brew has a bolder taste. The push of a button can brew an 8 ounce cup or a 10 ounce cup. You can brew up to 4 cups with the multi-cup refill. The cup size is 8 ounces. A fast and fresh burger. Coffee made in minutes. Travel mug friendly. Travel mugs can be up to 7.4” tall.
👤I have owned several alternative brands that worked with K-Cups. The last one I owned was the K-Mini. I like this one better. The model has a reservoir. This holds 42oz instead of the usual one cup at a time. It is less messy and saves time from having to add water. The K-Mini can slop over the sides if you don't add the water directly. You can add water to the sink with the reservoir. It was simple and clean. The K-Mini is faster than the other one. The K-Mini took 80 seconds to pour the water. 2.20 minutes is the total. This K-Express starts pushing the water out immediately after you click the button. I used 12oz for the comparison. The contents don't come out as frothy. The English Breakfast k-cups in the K-Mini would leave a frothy bit on the surface. This one does not. Maybe it has something to do with how the water exits. The water is hot without being hot. I like my beverages to be cooled down before I drink, so I give it a few minutes at 160 degrees. Others can drink it at 160. I was able to fit a 7” mug. To get more space, you need to remove the tray. You can choose from 8 ounces, 10 ounces and 12 ounces. This one has a strong setting. The K-Mini had a hideaway compartment for the power cord. The cord between the maker and the wall sockets looks sloppy. I kept the twist tie to help tidy up the cord. It is not as nice as a hideaway compartment. I found this unit sticks out more on the counter with the back of it. The length is over a foot at around 13 inches. This unit uses the same standard holder as their older ones. The k-cup goes into this part with the exit needle. This old-but-useful holder is nice because you can easily remove it and swap it out for something else. I don't like the taste of coffee. I use it for both hot and cold beverages. To keep my tea or water from tasting like coffee, I simply remove the holder my wife uses and insert my own. I get clean tasting water with no coffee cross-contamination. It only comes with one, but additional holders are easy to get. I use ones from older units that have passed away. Several makers were killed by hard water which builds up minerals over time. After a few months, I recommend using a descaling solution. The support person at the coffee shop recommended using a purification system. The life of our makers was greatly extended when we switched to drinking water that had been cleaned. They all seem to have a limited lifespan. Don't expect to get a few years out of it. The warranty lasts for a year. It may last for two. So far, so good. I and my wife are happy with this unit and think it is an upgrade over the K-Mini.
You can brew a full pot using your favorite grounds on the thermal carafe side or make a cup for yourself using a k-cup or grounds on the single-serve side with this 2-in-1 coffee maker. The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot and fresh. Features a timer, pause and serve. Pod holder and single-serve grounds basket are included. Features cup rest that can fit tall mugs and doubles as storage. The pierce needle is easy to clean. Each beer has a separate water reservoirs that is easy to fill and has a water window. You always know the amount of water in the brew. The Hamilton Beach flex brew 2-way coffee maker is the perfect gift for a home with multiple coffee drinkers because it has the option to please fans of all types of coffees and quantities. Single serve brew time. A strong cup of coffee can be made in about 3 minutes. Flex brew only heats the water when you're ready to brew, so you save energy. Coffee should be kept hot longer by rinsing inside of the carafe with hot water. The trademarks K-Cup and Keurig are not affiliated with or endorsed by the company.
👤Didn't make it a month. I was a fan of Hamilton Beach. I use the one cup feature the most and follow all directions diligently. I like the fact that I could adjust the water and coffee grounds to make the perfect cup, but I can't get there with the pre-packaged K-Cups and the cup volume preset on the Keurig Machine. The needle on this machine stopped working after being cleaned exactly as instructed in the manual. I tried using K-Cups instead of ground coffees. Same result. So... If this is the way it has to be to get a cup of coffee, then there is too much effort in tinkering and wasted K-Cups. Maybe I was just one of those lemons that show up on the assembly line every now and then. I got a $10 machine experience for pricing in the $80 range. It might be a long day in the hot place before I buy a coffee machine.
👤Why did I give this five stars? Customer service! The old Hamilton Beach coffee pot had a K-Cup feature that lasted a few years and failed. The K-Cup side of the pot failed after two months with this new pot. The regular pot side of the maker worked fine despite the error message on the display. I tried to file a claim after purchasing the extended warranty, but they said "Good news!" For them. The pot is still under warranty. I decided to go a different route after I heard the lengthy wait time at the Hamilton Beach 800 number. I saw that Hamilton Beach was reaching out to customers with problems and gave a different phone number and email address when I read some of the Amazon reviews. I sent them an email detailing what happened to the K-Cup side of the pot, what corrective measures we attempted, and asked for help. They asked for the series number and shipping address the next day. We're good to go again after a few days after our new pot was delivered. They were quick to fix the problem in one of the production series. Customer service should be for everyone.
👤I've tried the K cup many times and thought I might be a mistake. No, no! Every time I drink my coffee, I get coffee grounds. The whole K cup is worth something. I am very disappointed that I got this for my surgery, I will not be able to have a drink but my husband can. It was the perfect solution to not have two coffee pot makers on the counter. A waist.
👤This coffee and kcup maker is perfect for me. The fact that there is no water in the machine makes it very sanitary and free frombacteria. I like to drink my coffee fresh and finish it within the 2 hour program, so I don't have a problem with it. It takes 11 minutes to make a full pot of coffee and the kcup portion takes about 4 minutes. The kcup is very hot and it's generated by the exact amount of water I put in. You can either use your own coffee or use a kcup. The single cup is very easy to clean. The coffee machine that I have is a good one. The cons will be next. Some coffee makers have a lock switch that stops the coffee from getting a cup, but that is not the case when making a pot of coffee. When you pull the coffee pot out, the normal filter stops, but some still comes out and causes coffee to fall on the hot plate. It's not easy to close the lid for the kcup option. You have to push it down more than normal. The pot has a lot of nooks andTrademarkias and it is difficult to clean it. This is worth every penny. The new Ninja coffee machine beats the top of the line Kuerig coffee machine. It is definitely worth it for the price.
The single cup k-pods are compatible with any brand of single cup k-pods, including the Keurig K-Cups. Enjoy multiple beverage sizes. The HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup is included in the machine, which allows you to create your ideal size of coffee, hot cocoa, tea, or soup with cup-size settings ranging from 4-12 ounces. The backlit display sets are designed with superior function in mind, with features such as an auto on/off switch, temperature control settings, and auto-rinse to instantly clean inside your brew chamber. There is a 72 ounce water reservoir and a tray for travel mug compatibility. Absorbable filters: A coffee filter and a water filter are included.
👤I am so glad that I bought this coffeemaker because it was stepping far outside the box for me. I've been using K-cups for years, but after the third machine quit on me, I stopped throwing good money after bad. Their machines have become unacceptability due to the decline in quality. I settled on this one because it was the best cup of coffee I have ever had. I don't like the auto shutoff feature because it takes a long time to warm up the K-cups, but this one makes a delicious cup of coffee in under a minute, and it doesn't take long to get to hot coffee. It is a marked improvement over my previous coffeemaker. If you're like me, you're trying to find an alternative to the bi-yearly purchase of a single serve coffee maker. You're welcome.
👤I bought this model because I thought it would look better and have some improvements. NoOoooooh. The new design is terrible. Coffee is all over the place. Here are some pictures of how it splashes coffee onto the back of the unit and onto the kitchen counter after just one use. I didn't think of the mess after a week's worth of brew. Constantly cleaning is what this means. The K-Cup was dripping from the needle hole when I threw it away. The previous model did not use K-Cups because it made a smaller needle hole. The brew tastes a bit watery. The mechanism for pulling up the lid on this new design feels a bit awkward since you first lift up on a spring loaded lever. The K-Cup is upright on this model. The previous model has a loading mechanism that moves the holder so the K-Cup is facing you. The older mechanism is better than the cheap feeling one. I like the blue light on the previous model. The light was removed for some reason. The new model has a worse design. The plastic cage holds the filter closer to the water intake than the previous model. This one has a cheaper feel, and a smaller water reservoir. There are no changes to the programming options. I think that the new model is the result of financial engineering by the managers of the company. This missed opportunity will hurt Cuisinart. I'm hooking up my wonderful classic.
👤Initial impressions were that it was less heavy than the previous one. The blue lights in the water were a nice indicator that the unit was on and they cast a light that was pleasing to the eye. The water temp. is determined by theHOT and XHOT. XHOT is much hotter than the 192* setting on the SS700 and that is a plus. It is only a possible improvement. The upper and lower jaws of the head were moved which caused a problem later in the unit's life, either crushing through the top of the K-cup or creating a hole. This is simplified in the unit, and I hope it eliminates crushing. Coffee grounds went everywhere when the 1st K-cup through the machine had it's top seal blown off. There were no problems with the second K-cup. The cradle for the K-cup allows for the K-cup to wobble, which may have been the problem. Time will tell. The unit will be returned to Amazon if the seals continue to explode. 3 stars for now. The machine has performed perfectly since the initial review. The brew is faster than the SS700. 5 stars.
The internal testing of BUNN Speed Brew/ Velocity Brew coffeemakers was used to make the determination. The most popular k-cup Pod brew sizes are 6 and 10 ounce. The strongest brew can be achieved with the 6 ounce brew size. The 48 ounce water storage allows you to brew 6 cups before having to refill. The water is easy to refill. It is an important part of cleaning your brew. The process helps to remove calcium deposits from the coffee maker. An auto-off feature can be programmed to turn off your coffee maker after 2 hours of use. You can brew a great-tasting cup in under a minute with simple button controls.
👤Some of the posts on here are about the brewer stopping working. I bought the first one and it quit after 2 days. The replacement stopped working after 2.5 weeks, so it's likely not to make coffee. If this happens to you, the problem might be that the piercing needle is plugged with debris or coffee grounds. The unit stops when it senses excessive back pressure. To remove debris from the needle, one needs to open up a paper clip and put a piece of wire on either side of the needle. The unit worked well after that. If you call them, they will send you a device to clean that port as well. If your unit stops short of filling the cup, try this first.
👤This was purchased at the end of October and died on January 13th. What is that? 2 1/2 months... The units are unreliable despite using filters and non-tap water. We're stuck because 'product support' ended on 12/28. I don't recommend buying these anymore. It's impractical for what you get in return, one cup per Pod and the trash that this creates. This isn't the first time that one of these units has failed in less than a year. There was an update on Dec 15th. After this review, no one from Keurig has contacted them to ask if they could help. I guess they don't care. This review has helped a few of you so that is good. I bought another k-cup brand at Bed Bath and Beyblade, and the descale light came on after 4 months. The light is still on after I descaled and 9 tankfuls of water and white vinegar. Nothing changed after I plugged it in, rubbed my tummy, and patted my head. After this one is over, I'll need a percolator or a drip maker. Those never quit!
👤Pay attention to the reviews. My wife and I bought one of the original machines a long time ago, but it died on us last year. The machine was purchased in March of last year. It is starting to fail a year later. The pump inside is failing like other reviewers have noted. It starts making weird noises and then produces a cup of coffee with a quarter of the largest setting. It won't be a K-Cup maker. I don't have time or money to waste on a brand that compromises quality for a few extra bucks on their profit margin. K-Cups are expensive. Maybe it's time to go back to regular loose ground coffee and use a brew that can do single cups or fill a travel mug.
👤In August of last year, I purchased this appliance. Have cleaned the unit twice. Every day we make 1 cup of coffee and 1 cup of tea. It is early January and it is not working. The unit seems to be blocked and only 1/2 cup of beverage is available. It still doesn't work after a lot of remedies on You Tube. The reliability of the coffee makers is terrible. A friend has bought at least four in the past couple of years. One didn't have hers for more than 6 months. The units are not cheap, and the corporation should be aware of that.
The display consists of a lcd display. The parts are dishwasher safe. The Anti-Drip System allows you to pause and pour mid-brew. Their single serve coffee maker is compatible with ground coffee and K-cup Pods. You can brew your own exclusive style coffee. This coffee maker can brew k-cup coffee and ground coffee at the same time. The Coffee Brewer is easy to use, fill the water in the machine, add a cup or pour grounds in the mesh filter, then press the button to enjoy your coffee. It's also easy to clean with that. If you forget to shut off the coffee maker, it will turn off automatically. A coffee maker that's the size of a desk lamp can make one cup of coffee. The counter is not overwhelmed by compact size. It's convenient to choose your coffee strength and cup size. You can control how much coffee you want to brew with the 6-14 Oz water capacity. It's compatible for the coffee mug from 4.3" to 4.7" The Coffee Machine is the best solution for travel or business because of its compact design and durable construction. Enjoy your coffee wherever you can.
👤We can't use the lounge at school because I need my coffee. It works perfectly, I decided on this one. It does not take up a lot of space and can brew a cup of coffee in a few minutes. You can either use the ground basket or purchase coffee. The coffee is hot and strong. Love the blue color!
👤I bought this because it's a small-sized brewer that fits on my counter space. It's a great size if you want a coffee-pod brewer for a small kitchen, and it's about the size of my hand. Some reviewers say it doesn't fit large cups. I have a 20 ounce coffee mug that fits in the machine, so I think they mean extra cups. A nice cup of coffee is made quickly. It's easy to clean if you have a sink hose. The cup is re-usable. The color is red. The piece of metal that pierces the top of the cup is not as sharp as I would like it to be, so I need to pre-drill a hole in the top of the K-cups to prevent the Pod from exploding. It snaps shut, so no worries about steam or water getting out of the top. The packaging says it takes less than two minutes to brew. Since it does not have a pre-heater that can heat the water prior to brewing, I would recommend either using really hot water to begin with, or brewing your water without a Pod first, to make sure the water is extra-hot before brewing for the best results. This is a very minor annoyance, as it is very quickly brew. I took off one star because of this. This is a minor issue for me as the coffee makers are more about convenience than quality. I would recommend this product to people who have minimal counter space and are looking for a coffee maker.
👤The water was hot for the first 6 cups of coffee, and it made great coffee. After I only got hot water, I checked that the punch tube, brewer tube, and the hot water tube were all plugged in, and I cleared them all, even though I found no plug in any. I tried again and got hot water. This is a waste of money. I don't have the money to buy a beer maker. It is very upsetting.
👤I do not drink coffee myself. I have friends that do. I wanted to make them a cup quickly. I bought a variety of coffee, but I love hot coco and tea. I have to order another one in red for my sis because I love the way it comes out. I thought it was larger but it is a great space saver. I can put the carosell next to it. Great purchase for the money.
👤The pop-up camper we bought has very little counter space. We didn't want to pay more for a small coffee maker than we would for a big one because it wouldn't solve our problem. We kept our fingers crossed and ordered this one. Is it possible to get a good coffee-drinking experience from a unit at this price? The answer is yes! The tallest of mugs has a handle. Put the mug under the K-Cup and press the button to fill the water bottle. The coffee tasted just as good as the home brew at a cost of just $149. If space is an issue or you need a simple coffeemaker for travel or camping, I would give this unit a lot of thought.
