1. American Tourister Carry Ascending Gardens

Compression keeps clothing neatly pressed and you can pack more items. Push Button locking handles make it easy to extend out from the suitcase and store it inside when not in use.

Brand: American Tourister

👤I felt that the suitcase would be a quality piece of luggage, since it is American Tourister. It holds a lot of items and the wheels, handles, and zippers are great. No doubt about that. The quality is my disappointment. I checked this piece on my flight. The luggage was in mint condition when checked. I was disappointed when I retrieved it at my destination and it was covered in scratches, black scratches and dents. I was sad to see that this piece did not hold up better and now looks like trash, because I realized that airlines aren't very careful with how they handle luggage.

👤I have to return this luggage because of the smell. When I opened the luggage, I didn't notice that the cloth liner had a zip on it that allowed you to get to the inside of the luggage. I immediately smelled a chemical smell when I opened that fabric. I checked the tags on the handle and found that they stated that the product could expose you to chemicals that are known to cause cancer in California. Also, etc. I live in Pennsylvania, but my suitcase does include this hazard, so I applaud California for being so responsible. This luggage is going to be returned.

👤I bought this carry on at the end of December. I was looking for a carry on. I liked the over all appearance of this one. This is a high quality product and you can tell it by looking at it. The wooden floor has wheels rolling on it. The wheels have a slightly harder time on my rug, but still has an easy time in my opinion. Will be traveling at the end of January and will post another review after its first voyage! This review was not sponsored. A customer wants to give other consumers a good idea of what the product looks like. I'm happy with my carry on so far.

👤The design and color are great. It was easy to maneuver through airports and in the aisle of the plane. Lifting it into the overhead bin was easy. I was able to put it in the overhead bin for the airlines. I had a lot of room in it because it held three days worth of clothes, a pair of shoes and a lot of other things. The handle is flimsy, but held up well. The bars for the pull handle make the side with the handle shallower than the side with the pull handle. Since the clothing security strap is on that side, you can't put your stuff on that side. The opposite side of the zipper is deeper and would be better for clothes. The security strap would be perfect if it were switched. I used this as a checked bag for the first time and there were tons of scratches and scruffs that didn't come off. I was thinking of getting the 28” one to match, but it was too bad.

👤I had fun taking it all around. It feels like double the room of an average suitcase when packing because of the beautiful design inside and out. The inside pattern is invisible to me because my stuff covered everything. It does get scratched because of how they throw it around, but it is nothing major, I got the marble design for that reason. I went away for a week for my first use of it.

Push Button locking handles make it easy to extend out from the suitcase and store it inside when not in use.

Brand: Rockland

👤Is it Holy Hell? What is happening? The last thing you expect when you buy a red suitcase is a bubble gum pink polka dot interior. This is not real junk.

👤2 1/2 years later, still going strong. One strap was pulled out. I fixed it with a heavy duty clue. I got this set at a ridiculous price. Amazon had this particular color on sale under a C-note. I pounced on it despite the negative reviews. I waited until now after I used the set for travel to write the review because the set looked great on the box. Zero damage was achieved after loading in and out of the car after 4 flights, numerous parking lot rolls, 6 hotels, 4 airports and 4 airports. There are a few surface scratches with the luggage. The wheels are reinforced at the corners. The only negatives are that the handle is wobbly and I wish there were more internal pockets. The locks that come with the set are not approved by the security agency. You'll either be throwing them out or using them elsewhere. If you experience cracks and dents, make sure your luggage is well packed. It's asking for trouble to check an empty suitcase.

👤The luggage piece couldn't survive the baggage handler. The corner was broken after the second flight. On Nov. 17th, 2014, purchased.

👤The luggage set I purchased in 2016 started to fall apart recently. One of the arms was attached to the handle. I was able to use it to maneuver the case, but the arm that was still attached broke a couple of years ago. The larger case had one of the wheels break. Again, it was still maneuverable, albeit missing an arm and a leg. My husband and I decided to retire the case because of its leaning. It was cumbersome to keep it upright and steady while it was still operational. I'm too lazy to go back to find the middle case, but I forgive me, but I don't know the inches to appropriately label them in this review. The case began to show cracks on the outer hardshell. The carryon is still in tact. The way the airport employees handle our luggage and the constant traveling that my husband and I do make these issues largely due to the way the airport employees handle our luggage. I'm happy it lasted this long, and I recommend it. It has helped us.

👤I wanted to be a 5 star reviewer because it's cute and has so much potential. I went on a small vacay without having to check the bag or work with the TSA to toss my luggage down a conveyor belt. The lock broke when the handle was stuck and it didn't extend to the longest length. After one trip. I am very disappointed about that and my money is wasted.

👤I was looking for a cute suitcase that my daughter would be able to take on our Disney trip. We got this one and I am so happy. It is cuter in person, it is well made, and it has held up well. There is no scratch on it, and the zippers work well. It feels like a dream. It is easy for a three year old to navigate an airport. I couldn't recommend it enough. There are polka dots on the inside.

Brand: Travelpro

👤I've been a B&R two-wheel suitcase user for 13 years, mostly for business travel, but occasionally for a family vacation. My wife's generic two-wheeled carry-on was prone to tip over if not loaded just right, so this was a Christmas present for her. My only previous experience with Travelpro was a wheeled suiter that I used for a grand total of two times due toFunctionality issues. B&R has been stellar, especially around their no questions asked repair warranty. I have had two different wheeled carry-ons and one 26 inch suitcase restored after airline baggage handling or B&R component failure. The two suitcases that I had went through several trips to Asia without any issues. I was willing to pay the price premium for the four pieces I have so that I didn't have to purchase anything in that size category again if I wanted a feature/color upgrade. B&R's bags are usually heavier than their competitors' bags which can be an issue in Europe or Australia where the weight rules tend to be strictly enforced. My wife didn't want a new carry-on and the amount of personal travel that we do wouldn't necessarily need the B&R durability that I needed for business travel. B&R and Travelpro domestic 21 inch carry-on spinners were the only ones I chose. The Travelpro convinced me to go with it. The Platinum Elite wheeled luggage seems to have a comprehensive warranty if you register within the specified time period after purchase. A. The Travelpro weighed 1.5 lbs less than the B&R model. A. The price of the Travelpro was less than that of the B&R. If the Travelpro aligned wheels functioned as advertised, they would be a good feature to have. It was selected as the top carry-on bag by Wirecutter. We just returned from a holiday trip where my wife packed a lot of her clothes in the Travelpro and wheeled the bag around the airports. This trip alone is making me think about getting a spinner for myself, despite my B&R strategy. The effort needed to carry my backpack on her spinner was more than I could handle, especially when I had to cross some bigger airports to get to my connecting flights. The bag's packing capacity and the ability to align the wheels seemed to work well for ease of movement in the crowds, as well as the fact that the bag's height handle was used at a couple of different settings and she enjoyed the easily accessible outside pocket. She had a good experience with the Travelpro. We didn't use the bag in the expanded configuration and I doubt we'll use the battery side pocket as intended. It is annoying for me because my wife used to have the same bag. I only gave it 4 stars because I didn't have any data on durability/reliability or warranty fulfillment. I had the same questions when I was considering Travelpro Platinum vs. B&R, so I hope this helps.

👤The suitcase is 23" tall, according to Travel-Pro. I measured it and they are correct. It's 23" tall. There is a short animated video on Amazon that shows a suitcase that is clearly marked as 22. How do you fit a suitcase into a box? I went to my local airport because the numbers didn't add up. I usually fly United, so I went to their check-in area to find the box. It fits in my picture. How is this possible? I measured the box with a tape measure and it was actually 23" long. The box's other dimensions were correct, so your suitcase cannot be bigger than 14 or deeper than 9. If you put the front pockets of the suitcase in, it won't fit because it will be deeper. I only tested one box. Your mileage may be different.

4. COOLIFE Luggage Suitcase Spinner Titanium

COOLIFE Luggage Suitcase Spinner Titanium

The main compartment will be smaller than a 20-inch suitcase. The main compartment and front pocket compartment can be locked with a double TSA lock. The textured finish on the hard shell prevents against scratches. The front pocket of the luggage has crossed fixing band and net pockets to keep your travel essentials organized. The 20inch has a front pocket for easy placement of laptops, documents, and more. When you open the suitcase, you don't have to worry about it being messy. An ergonomics grip Lock is included in the Adjustable Handle. The world has a 2 year warranty for peace of mind.

Brand: Coolife

👤The zippers are hard to open at airport security. COOlife has contacted me twice asking me to remove my honest review because it is negative. They will give me half of the cost of the suitcase. They said they would refunds the total amount. That is also unacceptable. If the company makes a decent product, they should give me a replacement suitcase. This company is very bad. I have been a Prime customer for many years and have never seen this situation.

👤There are many pockets and compartments in the luggage. I needed a new carry-on luggage that fit in most overhead compartments on the plane. The laptop compartment was the one thing that sold me on the luggage. It's a good idea to pull out your laptop at the airport. The double wheels make the luggage very smooth. The luggage has more pockets and storage than any carry-on luggage I have ever seen. I have researched so many luggage, and I don't think anything can be used for the price.

👤Absolutely love this bag. It works well and is great looking. The capacity and separate access to my laptop is a genius idea.

👤I wanted to pack light for my upcoming trip to Europe so I bought this luggage. I did not want to check a bag. I did a lot of research before making a decision. I had enough room in this carry-on luggage for everything I needed for my trip to Europe. I was able to put my items in the yellow bag which is my carry-on luggage.

👤My husband travels a lot both domestically and internationally. He took this on his first business trip and was very impressed. The multiple compartments were great for keeping shoes and clothes separate. He had to check it out due to the size of the plane on his last trip. The bag is still new. We will be purchasing the larger one in the near future.

👤I travel a lot and the suitcase is more than new, but it is still a superior quality for the price.

👤I usually do my research when buying certain items and look in stores and online for the perfect luggage for the weekend. It was full of departments and had a price point. Some of the luggage I looked at had marks on them from shipping. This little guy was packaged perfectly and looks great in person, I'm excited to use it for my mini weekends. I can use this with my larger luggage. Would buy again. Completely satisfied with this purchase!

👤My laptop can fit in well without any issues, I love every aspect of this luggage. I checked this luggage in my last flight. It came back to my hand without any damage. The only small problem is the zip. If they can be more comfortable. The luggage will be perfect.

5. American Tourister Carry On Pink Blush

Brand: American Tourister

👤The item was damaged when it was received. Very sad. The material is not as strong as I thought it would be.

👤I'm a notorious over-packer. I don't fly because it keeps me from bringing what I want. The new carry-on was ordered recently for use on a vacation. I packed my clothes and shoes in this suitcase for my 10-day trip. I put my electronics and snacks in my backpack, but I didn't pack my toiletries in this bag. It was summer, with 5 pair shorts, 7 tanks, 5 bathing suits, gym shoes, sandals, a skirt, one pair of leggings, and a long sleeve shirt. I can't remember how many pairs of underwear and socks there were. It was still carry-on compliant without expanding the suitcase. The suitcase opens like a book and you have to pack in both sides. One side has a mesh zip to keep it all in, and the other side has a criss-cross elastic band to keep clothes anchored. This suitcase is the best I have ever purchased, and we were all happy with the result, we had plenty of room. I brought home a lot of clothes I never wore, since we spent most of our time at the beach in bathing suits.

👤I was surprised that there was no handle on the side of the case. It was obvious in the description and photos that it was supposed to have a side handle, but it is not there. I ordered the blue one. I like it. The model is called the Stratum XLT, 20" Spinner. I can confirm that the external dimensions are 22 x 14 x 9 inches, which is the maximum allowed by AllegiantAir. The seller has a lack of handle.

👤The luggage is nice, but we thought it would be harder than that. It was all damaged. The box was crushed. We were wrong to order a hard shell. I was worried about the baggage workers. I did not expect it. They are worse. The product is nice. I received this for a gift. The right size is two inches smaller than mine. I might get one for myself.

👤I need three bags just for a weekend trip, as I am an overpacker. I packed everything in a suitcase for the beach vacation. It's large, lightweight, and good quality. My best purchase so far this year.

👤The suitcase is 9”x14”x22” and meets the airline carry-on standard. It is lightweight, easy to carry and seems sturdy. It has enough space for everything I need for a 5-day trip.

👤The suitcases seem to be of good quality. They are light weight, have a mesh decider on one side, and have a top carry handle. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and it comes up about 2 inches over my belly button, it has 3 different locking positions for the handle as well. My mom loves the color and she says these are the best suitcases she has ever owned. These suitcases are great and I can't say enough good things about them.

6. Samsonite Centric Hardside Expandable Luggage

Samsonite Centric Hardside Expandable Luggage

The bag has a 10-year warranty against defects. Cases are kept beautiful trip after trip with the SCRATCH-RESISTANT POLYCARB texture. Re-engineering lightweight, four multi-direction outer wheels are for effortless mobility. Cross straps for increased packing organization. The side-mounted TSA locks act to deter theft, and only you or a TSA agent have easy access to your belongings when traveling.

Brand: Samsonite

👤I loved the first series. I travel a lot and the old ones were looking rough because of the stickers airlines and hotels use. The surface of these has a surface that is easier to get stickers off of and I like the color, so I upgraded from the first trip, which used the largest suitcase, loaded with only 35 lbs, and the material ripped by the upper handle! It is very thin. Someone picked it up and it split. I exchanged for the same ones as I thought it was a mistake. I liked the way they looked. The middle size is not very heavy, but the top handle popped out of the track when I checked again. There was no indication of a break. I got a screwdriver and jammed it back in so I didn't have to deal with the warranty. It was hard to do and almost gave up, but got it done with a few scratches. 3rd break in 3 months. The handle on the luggage snapped off at the bolts that hold it to the luggage. The set is disposable after a trip or two. Not what I was looking for.

👤The SAMSONITE CENTRIC set was thoroughly impressed by me and I have used a variety of luggage over the years. I felt this set addressed all of my luggage concerns, from protection to security to easy to move/handle. The set came with two bags. The bags all have the same features, including a hardshell exterior, 4 full spin wheels at the base, and a collapsible handle. The smaller bag is a good carry on for most airlines. The hardside exterior is the biggest draw for me. The shell is made of polycarbonate and has a zip in the middle. It can take a beating if your bag is thrown like a piece of garbage by the airline. The bags are light even with the protective shell. The 4 spinning wheels at the bottom make a difference. Having lived with the 2 wheel variety of luggage for years, I thoroughly appreciated having the 4 spinning wheels that allowed me to move my bags through the slow TSA line without having to "tilt-and-tow". The wheels spin easily for a smooth glide. It was nice to be able to keep my bag next to me instead of having to park through the line. The security feature of the locks is that they have a zip. The bag has holes at the ends of the bag. It's easy to set the combo and use, and it has a special key that allows necessary access in your absence. These bags are used to hold two main storage compartments. There is a liner at the bottom of the compartments that is a barrier to the shell. The contents of one compartment are kept out of the other compartment with a mesh cover. The other compartment has an elastic belt that clips at the center to hold things in place. You can keep your stuff out of each compartment and prevent it from mixing together when the bag is closed. The feature can be expanded. There is a second zip that allows the bag to expand. This will allow you to overstuff the bag. We were impressed with the performance of the bags our family used on the trip. The protective shell allowed us to pack delicate souvenirs. The luggage was dropped by the airline before we boarded and went through a driving rainstorm on the way home, but the contents were not damaged. The soft-gliding wheels were easy to roll on and made moving through the airport easier. I was very impressed with the work done by the Samsonite CENTRIC LUGGAGE. The bags are easy to handle and move.

Brand: Coolife

👤I bought this luggage after reading all the glowing reviews. It is light weight and looks sold. It moves well. It can hold a lot. I was excited to use it for the first time and was packing for a trip to Europe. The luggage looked new after the trip. The same two week stay in Europe as the first trip. The wheels on the luggage didn't look right. The wheel was broken after further examination. This cannot be. One wheel was broken after just two trips. Very disappointed. Is it a manufacturing defect? Is there a defect in the assembly? I bought the luggage 9 months ago and it has a 2-year warranty. COOlife handles the claim. I will update after they reply. I received a replacement case after completing the warranty process. It is good to know that the company is behind their product. Big thumps for them. The wheel broke after just two trips. I have changed my rating to 4 starts because of the warranty treatment. Let's see if it can last more than two trips. If it doesn't, I will update.

👤After looking around for a week. I bought this luggage because I made up my mind. It is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is good and the style is good. I am thinking about buying the rest of the set. That is how much I like this luggage.

👤It seems like it is nice and durable. It is easy to maneuver. Quality lining is on inside the pockets. I was expecting a little more silvery white.

👤I can fit so much in this luggage. The luggage is light so it won't add much weight. I was able to fit all of my outfits in this luggage. It has a built in lock that I really like.

👤Happy with the purchase. I will see bright orange anywhere. There is a lot of space. 3 days of clothes, pajamas, beach blanket, 2 swimsuits and pants. If other luggage is lost, I'm fine. The stuff next to the back pack is also in the carry on. The lock works well. Smooth rolling. Post trip. My carry on was checked due to full flight. I contacted them and they sent a replacement. The customer service made me purchase two more carry ons and three more carry ons for the entire family.

👤The luggage exceeded my expectations. On our recent vacation, we held up perfectly through 9 flights. The luggage can fit a lot of stuff with the help of the interior pockets and packing cubes. The orange color made it stand out at the luggage claim. The luggage has held up well, and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

👤I like this suitcase for its price. There is a The only reason I'm giving it a 4-star rating is because it's easy to press the button on the handle. There is a The wheels are great. It's the perfect size for a week-long business trip, and you can bring it as carry-on luggage.

Brand: Delsey Paris

👤My partner and I travel a lot for work and pleasure, so we got this suitcase for about 3 months. I did extensive research on the pros and cons of different types of wheels and luggage. The Aero Delsey line was always one of the top rated luggage lines. We bought a whole set, the 29", 25" and 2 of the smallest ones, the 19", that can fit in an overhead bin. If you travel a lot like we do, you should get the 3rd party warranty as it covers everything and is well worth it. It's great for storage that all of the sizes fit inside one another. If you have never used hard luggage before, you have to learn how to pack and open it. Don't leave all of your stuff in the hotel. If you are looking for luggage, I would suggest thinking about a couple of things. The wheels are so important, these spinners are great make sure that no matter which luggage you end up buying, make sure the wheels are double-sided, some of the cheaper ones have single wheels, and even more expensive brands have single wheels. If you are the type of person that likes to setup a luggage stand and live out of your suitcase, then these may not be the best option. Since items are stored evenly on each side, you have to open the suit case to get to everything, and pack and unpack it, just something to consider. In the 3 months we have had these, we have traveled 2 times internationally and 4-5 times domestically, and they have held up well. The side handles, retractable handle and wheels have not had any issues. The lock works well on the side and the inside is great. The best part about this model is that you can fit a lot of things in it and it also has a zipper expander, but we have not needed to expand it any. The luggage is very stylish and has taken it right into meetings with me. If you have a specific question, I will show you a few photos that have been worn, but most people travel less in a year than we do.

👤After four years of heavy international travel, the luggage is undamaged with no damage to the interior or exterior. It was the highest recommendation. The key to purchase was a hard sided bag, the unit opens flat for packing, one side has a cover that can be closed, and the other side has a strap that secures the contents. The overall size of the unit and ability to pack enough clothes were the initial concerns that were raised.

👤I was excited to get this luggage from Delsey. It looks modern, great wheels, handle is well constructed and it looks like one of the more expensive cases but the truth is it's made of a cheap plastic mold. The suitcase cracked on the bottom and up the side after only 6 segments. I have a suitcase for less than 8 months. The luggage has a 2 year warranty which is worthless if it doesn't cover the actualy plastic case. The handle is stuck if the stitching is coming apart. Your item would be repaired in these cases. Damage such as wearing down of the plastic wheels or a crack in the plastic is usually caused by outside forces and will not be covered. That is complete BS. It's luggage. It's going to be thrown away by airline workers. This should not have broken. I paid more for a hardshell because of the reviews. Don't waste your time on this suitcase. I'm out all of the money because neither the seller, manufacturer or Amazon are willing to stand behind the sale. Very disappointing.

9. Samsonite Softside Expandable Luggage Spinner

Brand: Samsonite

👤Rolls were very smooth and held up well through 3 flights. We were worried about it being larger than the limitations, but it went through check-in without a hitch. It's easy to pack 50 lbs in this one.

👤Handling my luggage has become more difficult for an elderly woman because she is an older woman. I was surprised that I was able to pick enough to last me for a week. I am very happy with this suitcase.

👤The locks are not durable. One of the large sizes broke while I was on a family trip. We had to use a hair tie on our way home. This was the first time that the luggage was used. I selected this luggage because of the built in locks. I bought 5 pieces, 2 large, 2 medium and a carry on. The 2 large pieces had to go through the check in process at the airline. The return window for this piece ended the day before we came back.

👤If an airline chooses to nitpick, the overall length of this bag is 63", 1 inch over the standard limit. It is a sleek, quality bag, and would be an ideal bag for longer travel if it was one inch smaller.

👤The wheels are very smooth and durable. My wife's wheel broke and I bought this to replace it.

👤The packing size is not true to suitcase size, so it only got a low stars. The outside is 20 inches. It's really hard. I needed a new suitcase. The old one was 22 inches and the inside was 21 inches. I only have 17 inches of packing room for this suitcase. Way smaller. I felt like it was smaller when packing. This was not a cheap suitcase. I went more expensive because I will be traveling a lot, but not with this suit case. I don't have to travel until February. I have time to find a new one.

👤Despite being fully loaded to 50 lbs., it held up well through its first 2 trips. After many years of business travel, I have an older slightly smaller model from the same line.

👤The product was well used and had someone else's plug inside it. The handle was scratched. This is a scam to sell a used bag with the owner's belongings in it. Returned.

👤Tiene buenas costuras. Habr, el volumen a empacar soportan los zippers.

10. SwissGear 6283202161 Sion 21 Black

Brand: Swissgear

👤The suitcase is 21" tall. It is actually 23". It is larger than the dimensions have been given. The maximum dimensions for most U.S. airlines are 22x14x9. The carry on box is too small to fit this case.

👤I bought a similar one a decade ago and have traveled the world with it. I bought this because they're the same brand and size. I have only had it a few months and have taken two trips. I'm a little disappointed. I have taken 5 trips with this bag. I can't use the broken handle. The warranty can only be valid with a receipt from the official website. Don't waste your money!

👤The suitcase seems well made, but the handle is not. The handle is wobbly and doesn't lock when you only extend it half way, which is what I did for the first time. It's difficult to get out of the way. If your suitcase is tight, it gets stuck going in and out. I might think this was a coincidence, but my husband has had to replace the handle on his suitcase twice in the last year or so, after only a couple of years of use, and I realized after purchasing that this is the same suitcase. I'm already outside the return window when I use it and the handle doesn't work right, so it might be going the same way.

👤Don't buy these products. They have a 5 year warranty. I bought luggage from them that only lasted 8 months. I ended up paying over $100 in baggage fees. It will cost you a lot more than the products are worth. Don't buy this product because it's a lie.

👤I bought this bag a year ago. Not new. I expect my luggage to last more than a year. I travel about 10 times a year for work and 3-4 times for vacation. I don't travel every week. I was traveling in September last year and one of the wheels got stuck. It wouldn't work after that. I didn't travel again until the holidays because of the bag problem. I purchased it because I could no longer wheel it standing up. I tried to take it to Florida, but the bag is useless. It was like dragging a dead body. My bag has been with me for 4 years. I purchased this bag because I wanted to be able to wheel it upright, which was less demanding on my back.

👤I tried out the telescopic handle when I first received it, after reading through prior reviews, and ordering this to replace my old SwissGear carryon. It went up and down. Great! The first time I used it, the handle went up when I was walking through the airport, but then it stayed down, refusing to come back up again. I was walking through the airport carrying my suitcase, kicking it, and trying to steer it as it rolls. I had a train to catch so I was trying to move quickly. The metal rod inside the telescoping section is not where it should be, so the catch won't be reliable when the button is pushed to move the handle up/down. I think I can fix it, but it's not good to have to repair a brand new case. The fixed handles, wheels, sides, and telescoping handles all hold up well so far, but the telescoping handle is a big deal because it only works when it feels like it. I don't expect much from SwissGear. If I can find a replacement for the broken piece of plastic worth less than a dollar, I can fix it. The rod inside the handle should look similar to the photo on the right. The handle won't work because half the piece of plastic is broken off, so it doesn't stay on the rod, and the button on the handle is useless.

👤I purchased a spinner for personal and business travel. The suitcase is large and has multiple pockets. I am aware that this will likely be scratched after being loaded and unloaded. The lock feature is something I like. It's made of plastic and people have commented on its integrity. I'll use one of my approved locks if it breaks. This isn't a necessity, but rather a nice-to-have. It comes with a soft cover. I don't think there's a better suitcase on the market. It looks good, has a quality name, and will fit in with other business travelers, who have often paid 4-5x the price. Thank you for rating my comment.

👤The looks of the luggage is different to other luggage. We have 6 of these, both carry on hard cases. When the bag is free at the gate, I check it occasionally. My credit card allows me to get a free checked bag, so we always check the larger versions when we are on extended travel. The bars of the handle became bent due to the gorilla baggage handler in over 60 flights last year. I opened the case and made a fix by hammering and rearranging the assembly. If you're a good packer, the carry on hard case is enough for 4 days of clothing. There are scratches on the wheels and case that are caused by plastic being rubbed onto the finish that comes off with a cleaner. The soft case on top is easy to carry around the airport with, and the case can fit down the seat aisle on all 4 wheels. After more than four years, still working well, and over 1000 flights now. It shows wear and tear on the wheels, but it looks brand new. I traveled for 20 weeks and over 60 flights last year with this little case, and I'll pass on a few hints I use to pack if anyone is interested. Less wrinkling is achieved by the fewer folds. Don't fold small with undergarments, undershirts, socks, etc. They should be placed on top of other clothing in a thin layer. Place the dress shirts in the top section and fold them in 3rd. I pack dry hair in a pencil case. There is a heavy duty freezer bag. Carry your personal items in a soft carry on to avoid spills and save space. unpack as soon as possible. Purchase some zip-lock style shrink bags. I use these to store worn clothes for the trip back, and they create a lot of space when packing to come home. It is easy to vacuum seal by covering a hotel pillow and laying on it. Wrap your shoes with plastic shopping bags to protect them from spills. They can be used in CA without bags at grocery stores. I carry a back pack with my iPad, MacBook, toiletries, and a few snacks, a collapsable water bottle, and a small bag. I try to change my clothes at least a day before I check my hard case to make sure it doesn't get lost. Maybe there's something in there you can use to add to what works for you.
