The main compartment has several organization pockets and elastic shoe pockets. The trolley handle is retractable. Corner guard reinforcements help protect your bag from damage. Overall dimensions are 22" H x 14" L x 9-11" D. The packing dimensions are 20 H x 13 L x 10 D.
👤I read many reviews before buying this luggage. I loved it! The top corner was damaged on the first use. I was very disappointed that this had such good reviews. The Kevin Cole Company was listed on the luggage tag that I contacted. It said it had a ten year warranty. I followed the instructions and was sent a new suitcase that was exactly the same as the one that was damaged. The company was wonderful to deal with and only asked for pictures and an explanation. My new luggage arrived a week ago. Kevin Cole will be a loyal customer. The luggage is perfect. I pack a lot because it is lightweight and more than enough room. This luggage is not enough for me. It's important to keep the tags with the information.
👤I love this bag! I used to travel with a backpack. This changed my life. The organizational pockets in this bag are amazing. I can fit two suits and two shoes for at least four days. I checked the bag once and everything held up. It fits in every aircraft I've been on, and I've used it on 20 trips so far. There are flights from small regional to international.
👤I fly between 120k and 150k miles a year. I have had 2 of these bags for the past 6 years and have loved them. With my amount of travel, each of the first 2 bags lasted 2.5 years, which is pretty good for a suitcase in the $60 to 70 range. I ordered another identical model a few months ago because it was time to replace it. The first bag lasted 1 trip and the cloth around it ripped. I got a 2nd after thinking I might have a one off bad one. The lining fell out on the 2nd trip, but that one lasted 3 trips before that happened. The bags couldn't make a combined total of 4 trips in about 6 weeks. The quality is not what it used to be. I had to find a different suitcase. If you have had these in the past, stay away, you will be disappointed.
👤It's loving the airports, being dragged around in buses for 15 days, and then back onto more airplanes. Not a scratch or a dent. If you pack it full, you will be overweight. Even when overstuffed, the wheels roll well. The price is perfect.
👤The measurement is 18 tall, 9 deep and 13 wide. It can be expanded to add another inch and a half to the depth. There are a lot of things in this place. I had four t-shirts, a pair of tennis shoes, five pair of underwear, a hawaiian shirt, two long sleeved linen shirts, a pair of jeans, one pajama lounging pants and a small toiletry bag. The case is at minimum width. If you expand it, you can fit more soft items in there. The quality is average. Not the best wheels. They seem good enough and you won't be letting it out of your hands. The handle can be a bit sticky. I think it's worth the money.
Hardside luggage for work travel, weekend getaways, or as international carry-on. A 21-inch hardside spinner with a protective extra-thick ABS hard shell and a scratch resistant orange finish is included. Smooth-rolling mobility is ensured by 4 double spinner wheels. Sturdy telescopic handle for comfortable maneuvering. The interior organizer has a divider and 3 pockets for storing smaller items. Up to 15% more packing space can be expanded. Product dimensions are 10 x 14.9 x 22 inches, including wheels.
👤I was concerned that the size would fit with the carry on regulations. People just uploaded pictures of issues and what we really need its pictures with luggage in action. My experience in images is perfect.
👤I travel a lot as a flight attendant. I've been looking for a suitcase that can handle a lot of use. I received my suitcase this week. I have a new suitcase that I love and I am traveling for the first time. It rolls with ease. It's strong too. My arms and back are not stressed. It feels like it's floating. The smaller bag is attached to the top and still feels light. I don't think the handle moves will be a problem. The handle on my last bag moved and I had it for years. I would like to thank Amazonbasics for making my travel life easy.
👤Very disappointing. It was purchased in October of last year. Couldn't hold up during travel, but looked good on arrival. The handle came off and the front wheel broke. No longer usable.
👤The first time we used this suitcase, a wheel fell off.
👤I loved this spinner on my first trip. The telescopic handle broke the day I flew out after I used this. It's unbelievable.
👤The luggage set is okay. It's fairly cheap. There are three pockets inside. Rolls were smooth. The cheapest hardside luggages are made from the material. The material can be damaged by rough handling and the one I ordered had huge dents in a corner. There is no lock on the bags. The only way to lock the tips of the sliders together is with a separate lock. The 20-inch bag has a weight of 7.2 lbs. Excluding wheels, the height is 18 inches. The width is 13.25 inches. The depth is 9.75 inches and the expansion is 1.25 inches. The bag weight is 9.6 lbs and the height is 23.25 inches. The width is 16.25 inches. The depth is 11.00 inches and the expansion is 1.25 inches. The bag weighed in at over 11 lbs. 27 inches is the height without wheels. The width is 18.5 inches. The depth is 12.25 inches and the expansion is 1.25 inches. The wheel's diameter is 49mm.
👤The best carry-on luggage. I usually buy my luggage from Ross, Marshall's, or Burlington Coat Factory. Medium to large suitcases can be had for as little as 69 dollars. I was not happy with the prices at Ross and Marshall's, I was looking for a carry-on luggage. The cheapest I could find was $69 and it was the same price as a luggage. I was surprised to see one from AmazonBasics when I looked for more affordable carry-on luggage. I had to get it. The products from Amazon are pretty good. The price! The price for a carry-on hard-side luggage is $49.99 and you can't get a better price. I was able to fit my luggage into the overbin for Delta, Ryan Air, Olympic Air, and SAS Airlines. The size of the luggage was in line with what I had listed. I've flown to Italy and Greece many times via American Airlines and had no issues with the luggage. The quality of the AmazonBasics luggage was comparable to the Samsonite luggage I had just bought, and the color choices were good. There is a I like the little compartment pockets. I rolled this bag through the rocky roads of Europe and they survived! The handle doesn't feel sturdy, sometimes I felt the handle was going to break off. But it did not. I had difficulties getting the handle to go up and stay up, but I am not sure if it is just my luggage that is faulty. I think the bolts were loose, that's why the handle kept falling down. It is an amazing carry-on luggage and the price is too good to pass up.
The 21 inch spinner is a half pound lighter than maxlite 4. The H20 Guard protects the interior lining. 4 wheel spinners are rotating for a smooth roll. The PowerScope handle stops at 38 inch and 42.50 inch and has a patented grip with touch points for easy maneuvering. The unique bottom tray design increases lifespan. The packing capacity can be maximized by expanding up to 2 inch. Features low profile top, side and bottom carry handles, two exterior compartments, full length interior lid pocket, side accessory pocket and adjustable hold down straps for packing convenience. The cost of repair for damage from airline or other common carrier is covered by the trusted companion promise. The interior is 21 inches x 14 inches and the exterior is 23 inches x 9 inches.
👤TravelPro makes bags that are meant to work and live out of. The front has a slant so it doesn't become top heavy and fall over when fully packed or with your personal bag, and the side carry handle is 10x more comfortable. There are two versions of this bag. They are not the same in capacity. If you fill it to the brim, you won't want this version. The bag is fantastic and has an incredible warranty. You will tire of it before you stop using it. As a consultant, I live out of carry-ons. I started paying attention to the brands of frequent travelers and crew members when I started traveling a lot. TravelPro dominated. I picked up the MaxLite 2 or 3 and it has been abused, but not much more, over the years. I wanted to point out the size difference. Between the bag's new "slant" and the 1" bigger version, you lose a day's worth of clothes. For me, the smaller suitcase fits into the regional jets I must often take to get back home to Cleveland. If you're the type to pack carry-ons full and never take regional jets, you might consider the slightly bigger version. The bag is even lighter than the old one. It was the first thing I noticed about it. I had to put myself on a 'packing diet' and it was easy to hoist into the overhead. I can't speak highly enough of the handle. This is one of those silly things that makes you wonder why no one has thought of this before, because your wrist will thank you every time you get on and off a plane. I have always had a spinner bag and would never leave it. It's nice to push the bag through the terminal and take the strain off of your arms. If the wheels get gummed up and need to be cleaned and oiled, they seem to be easier to get to. It's a professional, ready-for-anything carry-on that you'll be happy to own. I like the new pattern on the interior of the bag. TravelPro knows what they're doing when it comes to luggage, and it's nice to see a splash of color when you open it. You'll be happy to own and have this rugged, thoughtfully-executed carry-on. Travelpro backs it with a lifetime guarantee if you break it, and I'm 100% confident that it will work for years to come. I can't think of anything they could do better than the ones that cost 2x more. I have been a fan of TravelPro for a long time. I uploaded two pictures of it next to the bag to see how it compares. The old one is in good shape after about 5 years of use and a lot of travel. The bag has a handle with a color that's called "traVELpro". The old bag has a nice colored interior while the new one has a grey one. I received it through the Amazon program. Let me know if you find it helpful.
The overall dimensions are 21.8 x 14.5 x 9.4 inch. The weight is 8 lbs. It's perfect for a short trip. Carry-on size is regulated by the airline. The main compartment has a wide mouth. There are dual internal mesh compartment. There are pockets and straps on the side. 3 inch expansion zippers are available.
👤Good bag. I sat there and watched the flight attendant struggle to close the door. Make sure the bag is flexible so it will fit. The way the bag curves makes it hard for the flight attendant to close it because the wheels stick out a little. I had to check it. I travel for 3-6 weeks at a time so I need a decent amount of clothes. I know a united Airbus with 3-3 seating it barely fit in the overhead. Don't over pack, use caution. They will make you check it. The FA turned it sideways when nobody had a bag next to me. That's not going to happen on a flight. I own everything that they make, but this is really cutting it close. Maybe my fault for over packing. The bag had a lot of flex in it, but I feel it was destroyed in the overheads. It's the same thing. I wish Ogio didn't make the sled design on the bottom portrude out so much from the bottom of the bag. I understand why you did it for protection, but the bag is almost 2 inches off the ground. The bag is losing capacity due to the height restrictions, so I would recommend reducing the size. You can gain back a few inches of packing space by making the bag sit on the ground. Remove the guard and make the storage area fill the gap. Hopefully this helps everyone. Since last review, I've taken more than 15 round trips.
👤OGIO is a huge supporter of our family. There are multiple bags in different sizes. The bag is unraveling around the white piping. Since it is past the return date, I can't find any customer support on Amazon.
👤This is my second bag. I replaced my first one after 7 years because my previous company branded it and I didn't want to represent another company's brand. It is a big bag, it rolls well, and it supports my Tumi breif on top of the Ogio back without tipping over. It works well in the newer overheads of airplanes. You have to put the plane in the wheels first to fit it. If you're 100% loaded up inside without expanding, you can't put items in the front exterior pockets or it won't slide in the overhead. The bag has a lot of space inside, two compacting straps, and two large lid compartments that I usually fill with underwear, socks, and undershirts. I can carry on with this trip, even if I have to pack for a week. A better packer could probably get more days out of this bag. I usually buy Tumi carry on bags, but this is actually my favority bag. I travel a lot to get A-list on Southwest and previously Gold or Platinum on Delta.
👤I thought I'd give this a try since I was very pleased with my Ogio laptop back pack. I'm stuck with it. I travel for business and spend a lot of time on the road. The carry handles are very uncomfortable. I carry less now. I switched from Swiss gear to get better quality, but I feel like I paid 2X to get 1/2 the quality. I'll see how it holds up. Again, not happy.
The Rolling Suitcase is a stylish carry-on luggage with a locking retractable push/ pull handle and multi-directional spinner wheels. The luggage is 21 x 12.75 x 10.25 inches and has packing dimensions of 22.50 x 14.25 x 10.25 inches. The Expandable travel case is made from a durable, scuff-resistant polyester fabric and has a fully lined interior to give you ample parking space. The luggage bag maximizes packing efficiency with a large mesh lid pocket and packing pocket for holding small items and accessories. The roller suitcase has an integrated side and bottom handle that makes it easy to carry your luggage.
👤The suitcase is 21" tall. It is actually 23". It is larger than the dimensions have been given. The maximum dimensions for most U.S. airlines are 22x14x9. The carry on box is too small to fit this case.
👤I bought a similar one a decade ago and have traveled the world with it. I bought this because they're the same brand and size. I have only had it a few months and have taken two trips. I'm a little disappointed. I have taken 5 trips with this bag. I can't use the broken handle. The warranty can only be valid with a receipt from the official website. Don't waste your money!
👤The suitcase seems well made, but the handle is not. The handle is wobbly and doesn't lock when you only extend it half way, which is what I did for the first time. It's difficult to get out of the way. If your suitcase is tight, it gets stuck going in and out. I might think this was a coincidence, but my husband has had to replace the handle on his suitcase twice in the last year or so, after only a couple of years of use, and I realized after purchasing that this is the same suitcase. I'm already outside the return window when I use it and the handle doesn't work right, so it might be going the same way.
👤Don't buy these products. They have a 5 year warranty. I bought luggage from them that only lasted 8 months. I ended up paying over $100 in baggage fees. It will cost you a lot more than the products are worth. Don't buy this product because it's a lie.
👤I bought this bag a year ago. Not new. I expect my luggage to last more than a year. I travel about 10 times a year for work and 3-4 times for vacation. I don't travel every week. I was traveling in September last year and one of the wheels got stuck. It wouldn't work after that. I didn't travel again until the holidays because of the bag problem. I purchased it because I could no longer wheel it standing up. I tried to take it to Florida, but the bag is useless. It was like dragging a dead body. My bag has been with me for 4 years. I purchased this bag because I wanted to be able to wheel it upright, which was less demanding on my back.
👤I tried out the telescopic handle when I first received it, after reading through prior reviews, and ordering this to replace my old SwissGear carryon. It went up and down. Great! The first time I used it, the handle went up when I was walking through the airport, but then it stayed down, refusing to come back up again. I was walking through the airport carrying my suitcase, kicking it, and trying to steer it as it rolls. I had a train to catch so I was trying to move quickly. The metal rod inside the telescoping section is not where it should be, so the catch won't be reliable when the button is pushed to move the handle up/down. I think I can fix it, but it's not good to have to repair a brand new case. The fixed handles, wheels, sides, and telescoping handles all hold up well so far, but the telescoping handle is a big deal because it only works when it feels like it. I don't expect much from SwissGear. If I can find a replacement for the broken piece of plastic worth less than a dollar, I can fix it. The rod inside the handle should look similar to the photo on the right. The handle won't work because half the piece of plastic is broken off, so it doesn't stay on the rod, and the button on the handle is useless.
The 21" Spinner Luggage is light enough to fit most carry-on size restrictions. The packing dimensions are 19.5" x 14.5" x 10.0" and the overall dimensions are 21.25" x 15.25" x 10.0" 10 year limited warranty Their products are tested to make sure they meet strict standards. The bag has a 10-year warranty against defects. The cases expand with added packing capacity and the TSA combination lock provides security. Ultra-strong shells are impervious to modern travel. There is no weight on your arm or shoulder with four Multi-Directional double spinner wheels. The cross ribbon and divider have multiple pockets to keep belongings organized and a built-in ID tag.
👤The bag was being wheeled through the airport parking lot on the way to our first trip when one of the spinner wheels came off. The spinner wheel was stripped off as I changed directions. The bag was being rolled when the wheel came off. I could not prove that the wheel was not damaged due to misuse, so they refused to replace it. I had to pay $21.25 for a replacement wheel, which was almost half the cost of the whole bag. The bag with the broken wheel was used for the rest of the trip, causing additional gashes on the wheel assembly. The wheel fell off, causing the original damage.
👤I traveled with this suitcase as my carry-on. When you check in, they measure and weigh most luggage. The bag does conform to their standards, despite being tight. I was able to pack a lot into the suitcase and it was easy to carry. I'm curious to see how the white color will hold up over time, but after two weeks and three countries, it still looks clean. I'm very happy with this suitcase and I'm expecting to use it for a long time. The suitcase has held up well through many trips. The wheels are still white despite the scratches and abrasions from rolling over cobblestones and through wet winter streets. The plastic is easy to clean. I recommend this bag to my friends.
👤Several tailors looked rough, and the end of the zipper could not be pulled up. It seems like it has been used. Very disappointed. She said that the customer service was poor and that she needed to go out and get that luggage, but she didn't have time to come back. I was very disappointed at that luggage and Amazon's service.
👤I bought my wife and daughter different sizes of white. They look great through 5 plane trips. I was worried about how the white would hold up. It gets little marks but they are not visible more than any other color. The expander material is very strong when open, and it is made of well made material.
👤This one-year old suitcase is often used by me when I travel domestically and internationally. It is easy to move around in airports. The suitcases sold by Samsonite will get scratched quickly, but the exterior of the suitcase will get scratched less. The interior room is large and well constructed. The wheels broke off. I am not sure if this was an airline issue or a manufacturer defect. I didn't want to wait 3 weeks for my local repair center to fix it so I contacted Samsonite Consumer Relations and got the wheel back in business. I will stick with it.
👤This is a nice bag. It does scratch. I think it gives the bag some personality. It made it through 6 different airplanes to India and back and still rolls like a dream. The locking mechanism is cool and it is extendable so I could pack for a week with ease. It is close to $300 at Macys.
It can be expanded for additional packing capacity. The case is 21x14x9 inches. In. The outer dimensions are 14.7 x 9 x 21 Inches and the interior is 7.8 x 17.32 Inches. 31 liters is the interior capacity. The luggage is 21 inches high, including the wheel. Softside design can fit into tight spaces more easily than hardside. A 150D-polyester interior organizer has 3 pockets for storing smaller items. It can be expanded for up to 25% more packing capacity, with strong zippers, a telescopic handle, and a securely mounted short handle. Mobility is ensured by the 360-degree spinner wheels.
👤The only bag I found that fit the bill was the 18inch model, which was the only bag that fit the dimensions of the personal item maximum. I measured it myself and it matches the dimensions of the personal item bag at the airline. I've been able to fit it under the aisle, middle, and window seats and have never been asked to put it in their size test bins. The front pouch has some space in it so you can put stuff in it before the bag gets stretched over the 8 inch depth limit. This bag is also used for my laptop. I was very happy to find this bag.
👤Update! I now have the 18 inch in navy blue and the 21 inch in black. I work as a flight attendant. I use this suitcase for about 4 days a week. I wheel my luggage through the parking lot and airport several times a day, and it's rough on it. It's the perfect size for my needs and it's been holding up nicely. I get a lot of praise for it. I got the larger black for winter to hold more stuff. I pack a lot in my little blue. I will use my little blue for summer and big black for winter when I need to pack more outerwear. I can't recommend it enough for the price.
👤Is this little thing deserving of 5 stars? I am a traveler and I was looking for an EU approved carry on that was not heavy for my elderly parents. I didn't think this carry on would have all of the advantages: it is light weight, I was able to pack 3 changes of clothes, their medication, and books, and it is heavy. The most important thing is that it was light. The Amazon basic was a gem compared to my mini Samsonite where I could barely pack anything in addition to my laptop and light summer clothes. I don't expect it to last but I will let you know that my mom rests her legs on it while waiting to board and that they used it twice. The handle is made of light metal so maybe it will give in with time. I can't believe it's so cheap, my carry on was close to $200, but if you're picky about that, Amazon Basic is not the prettiest logo. Take a chance on this gem.
👤I ordered it and here are my impressions. The measured sizes are 13 wide, 9 deep, 18 tall, and exclude wheels. The handle is extended to 41" above the floor. I am 6'4 and either height is good for rolling with 4 wheels and 41" is best for pulling. The handle is a little wobbly, but it is better than most. I expect the wheels to hold up well because they are a little better made. The bag is a little heavier than most of the others, and the material is stiff, but it seems to be taking the normal abuse very well. The bag has hand grips on both sides to carry or lift it. The flap is stiff but can hold several items, and the outer pocket is not padded to good. This is the smallest bag I could find. The bag is well made, and it is a good small spinner carry on bag.
Push-button locking handles make it easy to store a suitcase inside when not in use. It's possible to pack a 20-inch slipper and still fit in a carry-on. The packing dimensions are 19.0" x 13.5" x 7.75" and the total dimensions are 22.0" x 14.0" x 9.5" 10 year limited warranty Their products are tested to make sure they meet strict standards. The bag has a 10-year warranty against defects. The battery is not included. Tie-down straps should be kept out of the way when packing. There is a built-in organization that includes a WetPak pocket and a mesh pocket. There is no weight on your arm or shoulder with the four multi-direction double spinner wheels.
👤I have a week trip under my belt with this bag. The thing was wheeled over all types of terrain. There are no flat spots on the wheels. They seem like they should keep going. The bag has a solid feel and is well constructed. I use mine all the way extended, and it has adjustment stops if that's your thing. Even when filling the bag to its limits, the zips are easy to use. There are lots of pockets inside and out for what most people need. I like the brick pocket and charging port. There is a male and female charging port, but the brick is not included. The brick pocket is closed. A rubber plug covers the charging port. I used Hibag Travel Compression bags for carry on luggage and was able to fit the following: complete sets of shorts, polo shirts, socks and underwear, additional polo shirts with underwear and socks, t-shirts with spare socks and underwear, and a swim suit with extra underwear. I just got fresh clothes from my dirty clothes and this strategy worked out well. Everything fit back into my luggage after my trip. I will most likely use this bag for every trip I take between 3-7 days.
👤This product is terrible. I have been using the same suitcase for years and have never had a problem, so I bought one for my husband. On our first trip, the suitcase had broken zippers. The front large pocket was wide open because the front top pocket tab had broken off.
👤The wheels held up well to being dragged across the cobblestones in the Netherlands.
👤My old suitcase was 15 years old. I took it with me to South Africa. It's roomy, has lots of extra pockets, and is great for hard surfaces. All in a great purchase.
👤The case is easy tomanuever and fits nicely in the overhead bins, even on a small commuter plane where others with carry-ons had to gate check. I needed something lightweight that I could easily lift over my head into the bin, and this checks that box. It seems like a solid construction for a lightweight case. Not that much more than my laptop bag, but it's a small packing space. The pockets don't run the full width of the lid and are not very well-designed, further limiting what you can pack. The wheels protrude down from the bottom of the case, taking up space that could have been used for case interior. If I had been able to see this product in person before buying, I would not have bought it. I had to use the bag for an emergency trip the day after the case arrived, so I can't return it.
👤We have had a couple of the Softside Expandable Spinner suitcases for over a decade. The bags look really good and the wheels and zippers still function perfectly, we have gone on many trips with them. We wanted a wheeled carry-on bag, so we bought this 20” bag. We will be using the bag for the first time next week, so this review is just a comparison on quality and construction that Samsonite offers now vs 10 years ago. The denier is used to determine fiber thickness. The thicker the fabric is, the more durable it is. It is telling that they are not rating the fabric. The wheels on this suitcase are made from a softer plastic. The older suitcases have plastic wheels that sit closer to the bottom of the bag so they are more protected. There are several current reviews about the new luggage that include photos, as well as mention how easy it is to damage the wheels. The new bag costs more than the older ones. I don't mind paying more for new items because of the increase in cost of materials. I expect to pay more, but it's not good that we pay more for less quality. I kept the Star rating at 3 because I haven't used the bag yet. The quality is not there and I can not see this bag lasting more than 10 years. I had fewer options on bags because there seems to be a lot of other options unavailable. I will be happy to update my review if I am pleasantly surprised by the bag. I am really disappointed to see a quality decline in materials. The bag is lightweight and should fit in the overhead compartment nicely.
The 21" Spinner Luggage is light enough to fit most carry on size restrictions for those traveling domestically. The overall dimensions are 22” x 15”x 9.5” and the weight is 8.2 pounds. American Tourister products are rigorously tested to ensure they meet stringent standards, and this bag comes with a 10 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The book opening case has a divider and straps in the main compartment. Four oversized spinner wheels for effortless mobility, re-engineering lightweight. Compression keeps clothing neatly pressed and you can pack more items. Push Button locking handles make it easy to extend out from the suitcase and store it inside when not in use.
👤I felt that the suitcase would be a quality piece of luggage, since it is American Tourister. It holds a lot of items and the wheels, handles, and zippers are great. No doubt about that. The quality is my disappointment. I checked this piece on my flight. The luggage was in mint condition when checked. I was disappointed when I retrieved it at my destination and it was covered in scratches, black scratches and dents. I was sad to see that this piece did not hold up better and now looks like trash, because I realized that airlines aren't very careful with how they handle luggage.
👤I have to return this luggage because of the smell. When I opened the luggage, I didn't notice that the cloth liner had a zip on it that allowed you to get to the inside of the luggage. I immediately smelled a chemical smell when I opened that fabric. I checked the tags on the handle and found that they stated that the product could expose you to chemicals that are known to cause cancer in California. Also, etc. I live in Pennsylvania, but my suitcase does include this hazard, so I applaud California for being so responsible. This luggage is going to be returned.
👤I bought this carry on at the end of December. I was looking for a carry on. I liked the over all appearance of this one. This is a high quality product and you can tell it by looking at it. The wooden floor has wheels rolling on it. The wheels have a slightly harder time on my rug, but still has an easy time in my opinion. Will be traveling at the end of January and will post another review after its first voyage! This review was not sponsored. A customer wants to give other consumers a good idea of what the product looks like. I'm happy with my carry on so far.
👤The design and color are great. It was easy to maneuver through airports and in the aisle of the plane. Lifting it into the overhead bin was easy. I was able to put it in the overhead bin for the airlines. I had a lot of room in it because it held three days worth of clothes, a pair of shoes and a lot of other things. The handle is flimsy, but held up well. The bars for the pull handle make the side with the handle shallower than the side with the pull handle. Since the clothing security strap is on that side, you can't put your stuff on that side. The opposite side of the zipper is deeper and would be better for clothes. The security strap would be perfect if it were switched. I used this as a checked bag for the first time and there were tons of scratches and scruffs that didn't come off. I was thinking of getting the 28” one to match, but it was too bad.
👤I had fun taking it all around. It feels like double the room of an average suitcase when packing because of the beautiful design inside and out. The inside pattern is invisible to me because my stuff covered everything. It does get scratched because of how they throw it around, but it is nothing major, I got the marble design for that reason. I went away for a week for my first use of it.

👤My daughter received this Delsey Hard + 4 wheel spinner. The corner was missing less than 6 months later. I included the picture in the company letter. I received a reply that was very brief. I was told that the warranty wouldn't be honored if it was determined to be abuse. It's not their fault if you spend $50 - $75 to ship it. You would think they could see that the picture was not impact resistant. The piece of luggage was advertised as Hard +, impact resistant, and a quality piece of luggage. Purchase at your own risk. Wrote them a second time, including a picture of the luggage with a missing corner, and they responded by contacting the airline. If it breaks and tears apart quickly and easily, why name it "Hard+"? Hopefully they will cover the damage under their warranty program since it was paid for with an AMEX card.
👤I bought my luggage at both Macy's and Amazon. Absolutely beautiful, elegant, stylish, luxurious, grat material! There is a If you don't want your luggage case to get dirty and have marks on it, you better get a luggage cover. I bought a luggage cover at Amazon. I will review that later. There is a The locks are great. The fabric in my luggage is soft and nice. There is a The luggage comes with a hangers on each case and 2 shoes/laundry in each case. I wanted to make sure I was getting the real thing. They are the same quality. The one I bought with Amazon was better packed than my Macy's case. My 24th inch was purchased from delsey, the 21 inch was purchased from Macy's, and the case handle was scratched by the people from Macy's. Amazon did better. I did not get paid to do this review. I bought both of these cases and they are gorgeous. I did a lot of research before buying. I hope my review helped.
👤The suitcase I bought at the end of October is coming apart, and I have used it three times. I contacted Delsey customer service and took two emails to get a response, but now I'm being told I need to send this back to a repair center because there isn't one in my area. I live in Austin, Texas. I was really disappointed in the customer service process.
👤I bought the brown and white versions of the bag. The white for me and the brown for my son. The bags are very nice. My son noticed and now that is a compliment. The fabric is soft and brushed cotton. A hard-sided case has a lot of pockets. The case doesn't expand so you have to pack. I bought compression cubes that help. I had a hard time finding personal items that would compliment these pieces. I've included photos for people who are having the same problem. The brown Herschel backpack is appropriate for a 16yo boy and it doubles as our day-pack while we are out and about. It was hard to find something for the white one. I got a leather Lily Jade bag and a brandy. When you take the insert out, the diaper bag makes a great carry-on bag with lots of pockets on the inside and outside. It makes up for the lack of pockets on the Delsey. We can pack for up to three weeks with the combination of these small bags. I ordered a spandex cover for the white one in case I didn't check the bag.
The main compartment is about 13 to 14 by 21 inches, the upper compartment is about 13 to 14 by 21 inches. The shell is lightweight and durable and can be used for a laptop up to a 15.6 inch. Four spinner wheels assure a stable base with multi-directional rolling with zero weight on your hand for easy travel; manufactured with a scratch resistant matt finish. The suitcase expands up to 2 inches for additional packing space. It has a pocket for delicate items and a large pouch for larger items. The 19 inch carry on size is perfect for weekend getaways and short business trips. There is a 10 year limited warranty on titanium models. A roomy main compartment expands 2 inches, with a large, convenient front pocket and padded sleeve for a 156 inch laptop.
👤The bag is holding up well a year and a half later. The handle is not loose from constant use. When I need to gate check, it gets beat up, but held up great. I will buy a second one for my wife. The bag is still being used. There are over 300 flights in this bag. The pull out handle is getting loose. No issues, still working great.
👤I was not happy with the Delsey. I found out I could purchase them directly after I ordered it. It was fro. I ordered one from them too because they had free shipping. The Amazon purchase is green and the Delsey purchase is black. The grey interior of the Amazon bag is different from the black Delsey bag. It felt like my purchase was made from inferior materials. I had a hard time believing it would last. I ordered the hellium aero direct from Delsey, which is a different model, but before I got it out of the box, I could tell the difference in quality. The bag ordered from Delsey felt like a higher quality material and I believe it will stand up to a lot more use. My purchase will be returned.
👤Holding up well. I've taken this bag to Europe and on several domestic trips. It's holding up well. The handle is durable and the wheels are good quality. I am a flight attendant, but I am using this as a personal travel bag. I really like this bag, so I would like to use it for work. I consider myself a luggage expert as I have been living out of suitcases and hotels for 28 years, so, please trust me when I tell you that Delsey makes a great bag. If you are considering purchasing, go ahead. You won't be disappointed.
👤I was interested in this luggage for a while. I wanted luggage that was lightweight and accessible. The case met those parameters. I've carried it for 6 domestic trips and it has not had any problems. I took the next size up as a checked bag and had no issues. This bag is a good size for a week of travel and is a packing cube user. I always travel with a down throw which takes up the same amount of space as one or two outfits. If you want to carry your laptop in the outside pocket of the bag without damaging it, you need to keep the side of the bag packed. It is not the type of suitcase that is easy to live out of due to the nature of hardside cases. You need a large surface to open the case. When choosing between hard or soft side luggage, take that into account. The space available was deceptive and I rated it 4 stars. The case has been spot on for me. There are pictures at a baggage sizer.
👤Two of the Delsey Helium Aero and two of the Delsey Helium Titanium were purchased for our family. We are very, very happy with our purchase. The Delsey luggage is very high quality. The wheels, locks, and almost everything else work well. The non-retractable handles are great, but they sit flush against the case and are a bit stiff when trying to carry the bag. Our expectation is that they will loosen up over time. The Carry On Spinner set does nest for storage if you get it. My wife likes the Aero better than the Aero. The finish is glossy and the interior fabric is more cloth-like. The Titanium has a textured finish, the zippers are all metal, and the fabric is nylon-y. The lock on the Titanium has more standard, larger number wheels, which makes it easier to click into it. The retractable handle is more stable on the Aero, but it also wobbles more when extended. We extended the handle one click on the 29" and two clicks on the 25" on the Carry On. The Aero shows dust immediately and the Titanium hides it better, which can be a plus or a minus depending on your point of view. The Aero's smooth finish makes it hard to get off the Aero's scratches and stickers, but hotels and others have taken to using them. It's been a long time since I bought luggage. There was a bit of shock when I made the purchase. We have been very pleased so far. The recognition value was an unforeseen benefit of our purchase. Two of our bags were lost on a recent cruise and I had to contact the purser to find them. He asked for a detailed description of the bags, and I said they were hard-sided, and he cut me off. I'm on it, hard-sided, red and silver. They were found quickly.
