👤We purchased these bully sticks from Jack & Pup a couple of times and they lasted a long time, even though our dog went crazy for them. I realized that the bag was overrun with bugs that were eating away at the bully sticks when I opened it. I didn't realize that the bully sticks were the result of bugs eating away at the surface. We went through a few bully sticks before we noticed the problem. I was very disappointed and scared. We had previously liked this brand. Looks like I'm going to have to look elsewhere. I gave these a 1-star review and submitted my concerns to Jack and Pup. A member of their team reached out to me and gave me their number. I had a conversation with them and they said that the bugs have been seen before, but that it's an industry-wide issue. The longer they sit, the higher the chance that bugs will show up. They gave me a full refund, replaced it with a brand new order of bully sticks, and gave me a bunch of other treats. I can't say I'm completely over my heebie-jeebies, but their customer service was amazing and I'm going to be looking at everything in these bags before I give it to my dog. We'll see how it goes. I read that you can freeze/refrigerate bully sticks, so that's what I'll do.
👤These Bully Sticks are like magic, complete silence, and no begging at dinner! Yes! We always feed our animals all natural, hormone and antibiotic free food and treats, so we checked the ingredients before ordering. Beef Pizzle is the only magic ingredient in Bully Sticks. No big deal, right? No words we couldn't say, no added flavors, just plain Beef Pizzle. My husband asked our dogs what they were eating, and I said "Beef Pizzle". He asked me what Beef Pizzle was, so I searched it. I looked at him straight in the face and said, "It's Bull Penis". The Bully Sticks are called Bull Penis. The size of the Bully Stick made me uncomfortable. We decided to join the auto shipment for the magic treats after laughing and joking about not being allowed to kiss the dogs. One, because what dog doesn't need a little 12 inch Bull Penis every once in a while and two, who are we to take away such a delight in both their life and ours? These are like magic. You will get some peace while eating dinner. If you don't have a strong stomach, I suggest you put them in another room and enjoy a nice meal. Enjoy!
👤As a dog owner, I was educated on what was good for my dogs' nutrition. When training our dogs, we use high quality kibble as treats, so we don't give them treats. The quality of treats is the reason for it. Most of them are filled with fillers. The parts that only bull have are the ones that are included in these treats. These are long. They are perfect for my large dogs. I have to crate my dog because she got injured. I don't like to crate my dogs but it has to be done. I give them to her and she loves them. She has to spend time in the crate away from her other dogs. These treats are odor free and at a great price.

The beef flavor and thick texture are great for dogs.
👤My sanity may have been saved by these braided Bully Sticks. I share a home with a geriatric Jack Russell terrier, a puppy Jack Russell terrier, and a man named Mr. Onymous. Puppy JRT wants to play and chew and is bouncing off the walls 24/7. Old Man JRT wants to play on his terms, but he doesn't want to be chewed on. This has caused a lot of fighting at the Onymous residence. I thought about checking myself into the local boobie hatch to escape the daily nuttiness of our lives. I tried to keep them occupied and quiet by buying a bag of these. The puppy took them first. She was chewing on the first chew we gave her. The old man wouldn't touch him. After a few days, he became jealous of what Puppy had and stole a piece of hers when she was not paying attention. After giving them a chance, he's also a fan. He is now quiet and occupied. I was hesitant to try these because I had a hard time wrapping my head around the thought of feeding my pups dehydrated bull schlong. Your dogs will be happy. You will be happy. Everyone will be happy. Each time I open the bag, I hear a choir of angels singing. It's horrible!
👤I have been buying bully sticks for my dogs for 25 years. I have never purchased the braided kind before. I like jumbo or thick. They have been hard to find recently. I have an 11 month old Rottweiler who can chew a bully in less than 10 minutes. The braided ones are less than 6 in. Within a minute they separate into 3 pieces and he chews them up. I would have returned the bag if I had not given him a couple. I have to say that the statement is misleading because they make claims they are made for chewers.
👤I have ordered from this company before and have been satisfied with the quality. What happened? The only bully stick in this pack is the one on the left. One of the sticks appears to be not a bully stick at all, but a smaller one, and the middle one is just... I don't know, lazy braider in production. The smell is worse than the bully stick smell. I will not be buying this again.
👤The small bully sticks were the first thing he started with when he was really young. The sticker shock kept me away for a while, but we only bought special treats when he was little. He needed at least 1-2 chews a day after all his adult teeth were in. He loves the large braids and we kept bumping up the sizes. It is the only thing we give him that will keep him focused and chewing until it is gone. The texture seems to be perfect, hard enough to be a challenge, but soft enough to consume and not upset his stomach. The smell from time to time is the only issue. Some of them seem to be stronger smelling than others. The smell of chewing within a few feet can be strong and hard to smell, but if you are close you can barely smell it. The smell is gone after the chew is eaten. A small price to pay for a healthy treat that he enjoys and will satisfy his need to chew. It is a natural product and the smell tells me it is real. If he needs it, we will give him a day or two. They are not cheap, but in my opinion the overall value makes them affordable. We've tried a lot of chews over the last year, but this is the only one that he still gets excited about, they satisfy his need to chew and haven't caused any issues.
All natural goods. These dog treats are made with no ingredients from free range or grass fed cattle. Natural chews can be used to reduce plaque and tartar build up. These chews are low in fat and high in calories and will keep your dog occupied and relieve stress. HACCP regulations are followed when producing their dog treats.
👤My Border Collie seems to like GigaBite 6. She's been getting 5 p/week for at least a year now, and never had any adverse issues; I often stay with her to be certain she is ok with them. She looks forward to them and they seem to help keep her teeth clean and healthy. They are a bit pricey, but I think they are a good deal. I've read that chew sticks may pose a potential choking hazard, but I've never seen it with my doggo.
👤My dog loves them. If you're not familiar with bladder sticks as dog chews, they definitely have a smell. I prefer this brand because it is more pleasing to my dog and it is smellier than some other brands I've tried. Bladder sticks do not last as long as bully sticks. They are much softer in the evening. I can imagine a terrier going through one of these in a few minutes, but for a less vigorous chewer they'll occupy them on and off for a couple hours. These are more for use as a treat and less for a long term chew. Our dog, being small and not a hard chewer, definitely prefers these and doesn't get bored with them like he will with bully sticks, which is why I prefer bladder sticks to bully sticks.
👤It was shipped fast. I bought them in the pet stores. Not as thick. Our dog chews them up.
👤These treats are better for my Aggressive chewer than most other dog treats.
👤They are brittle and could be a choking hazard. If I soak them first, I will give them to my dogs. They love them.
👤My dogs kill for these sticks. They love them. Our three chihuahuas love them so much that we keep them in stock.
👤They smell bad. I have a small dog that eats these. It is strong enough to make me give them to him outside.
👤They have done a great job of keeping the dogs teeth clean.
Dog bully sticks are high in fat and low in calories and have no artificial colors, flavors, orfillers. Dog chews give your best friend quality chewing time that keeps them busy and satisfied. The single ingredient is made of 100% real beef pizzle from the finest quality cattle and slow roasted to bring out irresistible flavor. Bully sticks are inspected to make sure they meet the high quality standards of Cadet. Dog chews help clean teeth and gums. Natural beef pizzle sticks for dogs are highly absorbent. The dog bully sticks are for small and medium dogs. Help prevent chewing that is destructive.
👤I had a bad experience feeding my golden retriever the bully sticks. Within hours she was walking farts. We walked 2.5 miles to get to her butt. When we got home, she began to purge her anal glands in every room of the house rendering it uninhabitable for several hours. If you want your house to smell like a wet bull fart, I don't recommend feeding these to your dog or any other animal. If you dare feed these to a Saint Bernard, God will help you.
👤I have tried a few brands, but I will be sticking with Cadet products because they are the best. Is there a smell? Yes, of course. I think the benefits outweigh the smell of bully sticks. I think the Cadet sticks have less smell than other brands. My dog is not allowed to have chewies. I know that chewing with 6 inch sticks is good for her teeth and helps keep her teeth clean because she is a chewer. She is very picky about what she gets, but she is always happy to get a bully stick. I think the benefits of the Cadet Bully Sticks are important, but I wish they weren't so expensive.
👤Cadet Bully Sticks have been purchased at our local hardware store. We usually get giant foot long ones. The sticks are worth it because they last several days per stick. We decided to bring the same bag since it seemed less expensive. Our dog has eaten three of these in less than an hour. gone... I thought it might have been a mistake the first couple of times, but this morning I decided to start with a review and see if there is anything they can do. These are not as tough as the ones we buy at the hardware store. I can only imagine what a large dog would do with 12 pounds of chewer. Don't buy if you're warned. Cadet has good products, but this did not live up to our expectations. After the scurvy is over, go back to the hardware store.
👤The quality of the product has been lowered so I have canceled my subscription. The first couple of orders were nice, my dogs liked the slab sticks. The air bubble thin pieces on the sticks last less than a minute for my dogs. I took my business elsewhere because I was not impressed at all.
👤The bag of Bully Sticks says long lasting. Our lab puppy was chewed up and swallowed in 20 to 30 minutes. That's not worth anything, what so ever! Lifes Abundance made Bully Sticks that lasted more than a day. This gave the puppy some time to rest and relax. The Cadet Bully Sticks were worthless. Don't waste your money. I would have given zero stars if I could.
👤My dog loves them. I can't tell you how bad they are, but they keep my dog busy for hours at a time, and the stuff makes her go psycho when I ask her if she wants a bully treat. These are for you and your dog if you have disposable income and don't mind a bad smell. I am a very active boxer.
Their bully sticks are made in the USA. You and your pup will get a superior bully stick that meet the highest standards because it was made and processed in a GFSI facility. Their single ingredient bully sticks are low in fat and full of vitamins and minerals. The material is easy to digest and protects your pup's health. They will not use chemicals or artificial coloring. The USA Bully Stick treats are just as delicious and healthy, but are smaller and easier to chew for younger and smaller pups. There are more individual sticks per pound, so you can keep spoiling your dog. Their bully sticks are baked to perfection from healthy USA beef which helps to eliminate the smell often asociated with other competing bully sticks. Let your pet enjoy the treats. The bully sticks are sold by the weight, which means you get what you pay for. No more worrying about the thickness of a bully stick.
👤These bully sticks have been ordered many times by me. They aren't consistently good. The last bag was not as thin as I had ordered and it looked like it had been burned to a crisp. The bag before that was just right and smelled good. I don't have time to play with or walk the dogs, so they are busy when I do. I hope I get the same quality that I had in the past.
👤I need them! Puppies just have to bite and jump to use you as a chew toy. A great way to distract them is to give the puppy a stick. It doesn't split into sharp pieces, it just melts in their mouths as they chew it. The bully stick is better than my legs and hands. Patty is in the area.
👤The six-month-old Australian Shepherd blew through one in less than five minutes. The 6-inch ones lasted him for an hour. These were much more expensive and did not satisfy him or us. This would be great for a small dog. We are very disappointed.
👤The bully stick chew is reasonably priced. The first bag we got was thick and the second bag was a bit smaller. I hope the next bag is better. The Doberman chews last anywhere from 5-15 minutes depending on size and thickness.
👤Really thin. My 50 pound dog is 888-349-8884
👤My dogs will ignore the other sticks. I can't say anything else.
👤My German Shepard loves them. They keep her busy for a while. Makes me happy. Good for her too!
👤My dog gets freaked out by the fact that the bully stick is gone in less than 5 minutes. He can't believe how fast it vanished, so he searches under his paws for it. I wouldn't buy again.
The dog leashes are made with 100% natural premium quality beef bully sticks. Rawhide free treats are the best alternative to dental sticks. Supporting dental health by chewing helps reduce plaque and tartar. Their 5-step safety process includes fresh raw material source, irradiation, food grade lab testing, hand packaging in the USA and UV disinfection of their facility. The long lasting steak and teriyaki is a great reward to occupy and entertain puppies, small breeds or light chewers. The 8oz bag has 15-20 sticks, the LB bag has 30-40 sticks and the 2 LB bag has 60-80 sticks.
👤My dogs love them, my vets don't. They were concerned about cracking or fracturing teeth from bully sticks. We compromised on my finding thinner for my mini poodle and cocker spaniel. Dogs. I tried Nature gnaws sticks and the dogs liked them. The Cocker destroyed hers in under 5 minutes, while the Poodle chewed his about 10 minutes later. I was hoping for a chew that would last a long time. I was looking for a larger circumference when I found these 'thin', which I thought was great, something in-between the extra thin and the bag I originally started with. They are the extra thin. I have another bag that is not going to provide a sustained chew session. The original bag does. The dogs chew on the bully stick for a long time, but they also walk away from them. The food-driven cocker spaniel is not heard of. I contacted Nature gnaws to inquire if there was a description error or if there was a real 'thin'. They did not give a direct answer, but their answer clearly indicated there is nothin in their lineup. They sell in: Extra Thin 6; Small 6; Large 6; Large 12; Braided 6; Bully Springs 6; Bully Rings 6; Mixed Bully Sticks 6; and Mixed Bully Sticks 12. Being fair, Nature gnaws is very responsive. Customer Service responded to my email within hours. I was not looking for free things, I was looking for a solution, and they offered a refund and free stuff. The dogs love the extra thin, small, and large ones, but my vets don't like them unless they are thinner to avoid the cracking they have seen in other dogs. My vet's hospital was not picking on any one company, that's what that statement applies to. I am not saying to buy or not, but my point is that the advertised 'thin' is going to be the 'extra thin'. If you were looking for something between the small and the extra thin, this is not it. The company is responsive to customers. The originals do last. Medium-sized dogs under 30 pounds are what I call a moderate chewer and an aggressive chewer. I would give them 5 stars for those issues. I dropped to 3 stars because of that. The bully sticks I bought from Amazon link back to the Nature gnaws storefront, so someone please change the description to read 'extra thin' and not 'thin'. Not deceptive but not clear either. Regardless of the size of pizzles, there is poor quality control on trimming or cutting them to a more consistent shape before their cooking process happens. The beef pizzle is being utilized and not wasted, but a lot of work needs to be done on the quality of consistency. My dogs love these things, if you don't worry about cracks, fractures and vet bills. The dogs are laughing at me when I give them one daily, and I think, if you only knew what this really was, the dogs would not care.

👤I have ordered this product nine times and had four packs delivered every month. I like that they are softer than the beef bully sticks that my dogs used to chew on. I don't mind that there is a slight smell, they seem to like them. The company replaced four packs of 12 Braided Bully Sticks with this item. They are too big to chew on for my two 90-pound dogs. The regular label says one thing and describes the braided chew as "Beef Pizzle," but a sticker on the large label says they are not Beef Bladder sticks. They must have run out of the Beef Bladder sticks that were shown in the picture. I was told that returns aren't allowed when I tried to return them. Thank goodness for Amazon's excellent customer service, but I don't think the company should be allowed to substitute when they run out. They should have told me that the item was not available. I will not order from this company again.
👤I bought these Bully Sticks because my dog loves them and I read that they had lasted for their dog just as long as the bully sticks did. They don't have a bad smell and my dog loves them, but they are only going to be a snack for him and not a long toy. If you have a smaller dog or a less aggressive chewer, then I would recommend you to get a snack.
👤This purchase was necessary because of the fact that there were two Yorkie puppies in the house and one senior Yorkie who was raised on bully sticks. I've had 2 yorkies who have never had dental work done, and it's because they chewed regularly. I wanted to start my puppies chewing as well. The bladder sticks are a bit softer than the bully sticks, but they are the same. I will not be without them. As soon as I opened the package, they were all chewing and cleaning their teeth. I don't want to do that. I'll be back for more if they are recommended. It is guaranteed.
👤I love these, as does my GSD. There is nothing bad about this brand. Compared to other brands, they are all decent sized.
👤We give our teething puppy bull pizzles, but they are relatively expensive, and she takes a full day to chew through them. I thought I'd save money by buying these. If you are looking for a durable chew, don't buy these. My puppy tears through one of these in less than 10 minutes. They are brittle. She puts them up like crackers.
👤Very good! A large size. I had 20 instead of 10 because I broke them in half. This is not something that will last for a long time so it is more of a treat. My dog is very interested in these. I will order again.
👤It's used for my dog, I got the right item, the other one was called dog treats, they have a bad smell, thank you for looking into it.

The beef flavor and thick texture are enjoyed by all breeds.
👤I could have bought 3 Grade A T-bone steaks for less than that. I don't like giving 1 star reviews but I would never recommend this product. I thought the product was going to be a bunch of short length chew treats for my two pups, but it is not. You only get a few of them and they are very long. I was expecting a serious bag to last at least a month. A few strands will last a week or two. I strongly recommend that you place the actual product photo for the "large" pack instead of a generic one for all of your products and create some value in your offering. This is a complete disappointment. There are many natural chews you can buy for your dogs. The fact that they don't provide an actual packaging photo and then give you a few chews is pathetic. I could have bought a whole bunch of strip loins and dried them out to make more chew treats for my pups. This product will be very disappointing to you. It is mind incomprehensible that there are so many reviews.
👤It's not in my bag, it's 12 treats. This brand cheated me again. I used to like this brand because it's good and my dog likes it. I used to get 25 cow ears, but they got smaller and smaller, so I got between 18 and 20. I stopped ordering them. The bag has the same number of treats and they were 8. I won't buy again. I hope Nature gnaws can come up with a better system that won't cheat customers.
👤My dog wants these. He sits at the foot of my recliner, staring at me, trying to control me with his mind, to get out of the chair and get him one. He always wins this contest.
👤My puppy was busy. She demolished a tennis ball in the background. It has not broken apart yet. I think broken tennis ball materials are worse. I like these so far, but it's always scary to buy treats here. Will update if there is a less than five star review. Happy with these!
👤Frenchie Breeder approved. We love trying all kinds of chews. These chews are all natural and very easy to digest. The frenchies loved the smell and ran when they heard the bag open. We gave this a 5 paws up review.
👤These are the filet mignon of dog chews. Are they expensive? Yes! All rawhide chews are overpriced. They are a waste product. I don't manufacture them so what do I know? I know that my dogs love them. The variety pack works out well for me because I have three different dogs chewing. Some dog parents seem to think that they are a wonderful treat for special rewards, but I don't give them out every day.
👤The product has several good points, including the fact that the price is very competitive and the fact that the bully stick is not too smelly. The review only has three stars because of a major flaw. I'm unable to feed my dogs bully sticks because they're very fragile and three of them are very skinny. One of the sticks snapped in two places before I received it. It is thinner than a yellow pencil. 25% of the product is not usable. I think this is still a decent product for the price. If your dog isn't a heavy chewer, you might want to give them the skinny sticks.

Supporting dental health by chewing helps reduce plaque and tartar. Their 5-step safety process includes fresh raw material source, irradiation, food grade lab testing, hand packaging in the USA and UV disinfection of their facility. Quality check every single step from the farm to your fur baby. The 12 inch bag has 3-6 sticks, the 12 inch bag has 8 sticks, and the 12 inch bag has 16 sticks. Also, note: It is possible that packaging may vary.
👤The bag has a lot of sticks. The bag was 1 lbs. There are 5 sticks. I would have gone to my regular pet store for this price. It's not a good idea at the moment. Change the description to reflect the amount. It's probably still a LB, but 5 sticks is a big stretch from 8 to 12. It was disappointing and misleading.
👤This is the second bag that I have received and it is disappointing. Some of these are very thin. There were some nice pieces in there. I don't spend a lot of money when the bag is not good. They say they are inspected to make sure they meet the size specifications. What are your goals? Is anything bigger than a pencil? It is definitely not long lasting. I gave you a star because my dog loves them, but over half the bag is sad. You lost my business.
👤I didn't like these at all. Half of the sticks were paper thin. The picture or description is nothing like the one I'm looking at. I was looking forward to buying these more often as they are a good treat for my dog.
👤I might have felt better if there were more in the bag, but I feel like I'm being cheated. I bought these to keep my dog busy, and it would be worth it if they were thicker. My dog is a small 30lb terrier mix and she can go through a thin one in a matter of minutes. I had to put them right up to my nose to smell them a tiny bit because she likes them and there was little to no smell. I'm sure the thicker ones provide enough chewing to help with teeth cleaning, and there was no mess. There were only two decent sizes. I wouldn't buy these again, I feel misled by the description and pictures, and I could have gotten more for my money at the pet store. Not worth $22. I really wanted to like these. I'm giving them one star for the lack of smell and another for the fact that she liked them.
👤This is a treat my dog likes. I wanted something that would last a long time, but he eats it in less than 10 minutes. I have a dog. The ones I used to get only came in 5 and cost $30 a bag but kept him chewing for a while. I thought I'd give these a try, but I don't think I'll buy them again. It doesn't keep him busy long and I don't think it will help with his dental issues if he doesn't chew it. My dog does like it, but then again he likes anything. I don't think it's worth the price. They were big pieces, but they don't last long. Correct... Some pieces last longer than others. I think less than half of them are good quality, which will keep my dog busy for an hour, but the rest are eaten very quickly.

👤It took me a few minutes to figure out what I was giving my dog, but now he loves them. They are his favorites. He could chew it up in about an hour, but he usually takes a break when he gets to about halfway. I am getting the 10 pack instead of the second bag. Even though they are a bit on the expensive side, would highly recommend them. My dog has not experienced GI issues so that is a huge bonus for me.
👤I had to pull this out of the dog's throat as she was gagging. A half circle hooks into their throat when the ring breaks. It is dangerous for any dog over 30 lbs. I did not chancing it with my smaller dog. There is a stressed situation.
👤The new puppy doesn't like the straight Nyla-bone type bones, but he loves them! The shape, ring diameter, and scent are important. He is kept busy and chewing less on other less desirable items.
👤If you have an indoor dog, you will not be able to tolerate them. If you want to throw up after taking one from the package, don't smell your hand.
👤My dog likes these rings, but I wish they were a bit thicker.
👤Our dogs love them and the price is great.
👤My mother's dog loves them. A female Maltese dog is a year old. I have ordered them many times.
👤I was glad they were larger than I thought. Lucy was 13 lbs and almost 14 years old. She was occupied for three days each by these things. She has one left and I am about to order more. A photo shows a woman chewing. She will finish it tomorrow.
