👤I bought the Chefman 3.5l and decided I needed a rotisserie. Chicken dinner was the winner. It is so easy to use. It was easy to clean. The instructions suggest using tinfoil on the bottom pan. You can find the air fryer timing magnet sheet in Amazon.
👤I am obsessed with this appliance. It is one of the best gifts I have ever received. The design of it is the big thing that makes it so awesome. The rack and window are great places to see what you are cooking. It was worth every penny.
👤I didn't know about air fryers. They were expensive, and probably complicated, but never used them. I didn't want to have to read a manual to cook a burger. There was a huge box setting when I opened the door. The logo is on the side. I didn't think I was going to have enough room. Most of the air space in the box was molded to keep it safe during shipping. The Chefman air fryer is less than 14 inches high and under a foot square. What a relief! The instructions were not up to par. The Quick Start Guide is a fold out guide and the User Guide is 16 pages. The User Guide covers safety, features, operating instructions, and air fryer cooking tips. There is no word of encouragement for a person who has never touched one of these. I didn't find the product on the website, but I liked their Facebook page. I didn't do anything on the first day. I was looking at how others used this. I decided to cook a burger. That should be easy. Two photos of perfectly cooked burgers. When I cook meat, I usually black the outer edges and cook it to 155 F before removing it from the skillet. The burgers were tested with the same temperature and were between 160 and 170 degrees. Nothing was damaged. I was impressed with the way they were cooked and juicy. I cooked salmon the next day. It's highly encouraged to preheat. One plank was cooked and the others needed more time to cook. The + Minutes can be used on the touch screen. I was late to work last night because I made some fries. I added some onion and steak seasoning to the burger that started out as a patty and came out like a roast. Oh my gosh! I am going to lightly oil them next time. French fries with grease taste better. They were cooked despite the ice on them. They were going to come out wet. Ha! They came out clean. Airy, light, crisp. French fries are supposed to be Airy. The taste of the burgers is different. Have a pound of venison. I wonder how one would cook that in an air fryer. Not a recipe yet. Will have to state that I am eating healthier and that this Chefman Air Fryer is the cook now, save for eggs and easy stuff. Wonder how it will work with other foods? I ordered some books from Amazon, but could not locate any Chefman Air Fryer cookbooks. I am still new to this and these should give me more time to learn. These can be used to make cakes. The tray is large, about 9 inches or so square, and has a holey tray that slides down with silicone stoppers on the middles of the tray. The tray is two inches from the bottom. Pick out fish, fries, chicken, and meat from the pre-selects when you put your food in the tray. I have not tried custom cooking yet. The air fryer was only used for a week. There is a red warning label on the exhaust port. I use mine on a small kitchen table. The heat goes out the back and warms the front room. The top of the top is not hot, but can smell what is being cooked. I'm going to be using the Chefman air fryer. It cooks better than a cast iron skillet. I will have to find out how complex of meals it can cook. I am very impressed with this new technology. I heard that people want more room for their air fryers. I think there will be more orders coming in through Amazon, I showed them mine. I don't have to worry about not having enough room to cook for this big man. The air fryer is very good. Thank you, Amazon, for suggesting this device. I bet I can cook fries and a burger together, as the pre-selects are close enough.
Air fry with up to 75 percent less fat than traditional frying methods, and tested against deep fried French fries. The wide temperature range allows you to cook quickly and gently, and it allows you to cook with heat. 2 pounds of french fries can fit in a 4 quart ceramic coated basket and crisper plate. The cord length is 2.6 feet. The unit will need time to warm up. They recommend preheating the unit for 3 minutes before adding your ingredients to get the best results. The combination of low fan speed and low temperature allows dehydration. The dishwasher safe parts are easy to clean.
👤I turned it off immediately and haven't used it since... hope to hear from the manufacturer soon. I've been going back and forth with the Ninja customer service team for the past 2 weeks and haven't come to a conclusion yet. I would take out another star from the review to make it 0 stars. I did not hear from Ninja customer service for more than a month, but I got a full refund after talking to Amazon.
👤I have been studying air fryers for about two years. Counters-pace vs basket size was the subject of the decision. The stand mixer takes up more space than the ninja. It's easy to pull out from under the cabinet to use. I would love for a bigger one to do my entire meal at once. For two people, it does a fair amount of food. The bang shrimp came out quite tasty after I reheated them. Steaks were moist and medium rare, but not cooked on the plate. It works well with salmon and chicken breasts. It's much easier to clean a pan than a stove top. It cooked the chicken, fish, and tater tots in 10 minutes. Less time than a microwave. The Ninja is $200 less than thePhillips, but it doesn't come with grilling or baking accessories. Nuff said.
👤I followed the instructions for cleaning the basket and crisping tray when I unboxed it a few days ago. It has filled my home with a horrible smell of burning plastic and has been used five times. The plastic smell is stronger if you sniff the basket after cooking, because it doesn't look like any of the plastic parts are melting. I think the coating on the basket is releasing the toxic smell when heated. They claim it is ceramic, but I don't think so. It seems to cook food very well. If you don't mind having a headaches from breathing fumes and eating every meal, then get this.
👤The fryer has been in use for 2 weeks and hasn't stopped yet. I wonder how I've lasted this long without one. I am not getting paid by Ninja or endorsed by them. One of the Ninja products blenders I've owned is over 10 years old. They make machines. If you're a lazy cook, this fryer is a life saver. I've been researching air fryers for the past few months and nothing compares to the Ninja. The basket size isn't large enough for the larger fryers, but it cooks quickly and you won't miss the extra quart. It comes with a multi-layer rack, a recipe book, and a crisper. I made wings the first night. I will never buy fried chicken again. They tasted better and were that crisp. I fried chicken in 10 minutes after buying the Louisiana fried chicken flour from Walmart. No greasy mess, no 3rd degree burns from hot oil, and your house doesn't smell like a chicken joint for 4 days after. The Ninja uses a ceramic coating on their fryers, so the clean up is very easy. I made sweet potato fries. I put a bag of frozen babies in the freezer for 10 minutes. They were better than Mcdonald's. The procedure for making homemade fries was too long. You have to peel, slice, soak, dry and cook the potatoes. The air fryer has been cooking nonstop in this house. I hit the internet to get some recipes and it's been there ever since. The fryer has a feature that makes it fast to cook. Is it frozen chicken wings? No problem! They're defrosted after 10 minutes in the fryer. I've cooked pizza, fries, wings, reheated food, and baked a chocolate cake. Everything came out perfect. Next up is donuts. The only thing I don't like about this fryer is that it shuts off after 30 seconds. This is a safety feature. I always have more to cook. I have used my microwave twice in the last 2 weeks to make coffee. I did cinnamon rolls as well. It takes 20 minutes in the oven for Pillsbury ones. If you like them brown, you can watch 8 minutes in the Ninja. They would be perfect if I stopped it at 5 min. My house smelled like a factory. I'll be making beef jerky soon, but I haven't used the fryer yet. I am very happy. The price was the best selling feature. The Ninja is a bit larger than some of the bulkier fryers, but it fits under my cabinet nicely. I'm happy it only used 1500W, unlike some of the larger fryers that burn 1800 which could kill your light bill. The outside of the fryer doesn't get hot, so you won't have to worry about getting burned, but take caution when taking your food out. Is it loud? The exhaust fan on my stove is louder than the Ninja. The extension cord is long so you don't have to worry about being limited in where you can place it. I think I have covered everything. This thing is very dangerous. If you're wondering what cookware you can use, just about anything you put in a microwave, you can put in the Ninja. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought some foil pans. You should grab some tongs so you don't scratch the surface of the fryer. A kid getting a new bike for Christmas is what this thing has been like. You will be happy with this purchase. Happy and healthy cooking!
Do you want fried food without oil? The air fryer allows you to make the same foods you normally enjoy, but with 85% less oil. You can meet your health goals without sacrificing your favorite foods. Are you keeping your kitchen free of harmful oil fumes? The air fryer is sealed so that it doesn't get damaged. Tired of cleaning up after dinner? You don't have to worry about making a mess in the kitchen because the air fryer keeps your cooking oil within the walls. Does your air fryer have a large capacity but a small cooking area? The air fryer has baskets that can serve up to 5 people. The basket has more cooking space than a round one. Would you rather not preheat? The air fryer can cook quickly. Simply press the power button. Is homemade BBQ good for your heart? The air fryer can be used to make your own BBQ at home. Do you want to use less soap when you wash your dishes? Remove the baskets and use less dish soap. They can be put in the dishwasher after soaking in water, saving you time in the kitchen.
👤This is an excellent air fryer. It does what it says. The machine is a step above the standard model. It is inferior to the standard model. The standard model had all the preset touch-enabled. Simply pressing the buttons will allow me to select a preset. You have to press "menu" toggling through preset on the model. I would have to press the menu 8 times to select "fish". I simply press the "fish" button if the standard model is present. I will be returning it for that reason.
👤I bought the all black 5.8 Cosori a few weeks ago, and was surprised to find that the food was more delicious in the air fryer, and I would highly recommend it even though it is a little more expensive.
👤I didn't know what an air fryer was before I started looking for one. An air fryer is an oven with a basket. When you put your food in the basket, you put spices and oil on it, and it gives it a sort of fried exterior. The left over oil or fat falls through a grate and ends up in the basket. If that's what you're looking for, this is huge, but good, and I'm not sure I'd want one much smaller. We made steaks and eggplant last night, and they came out great. There are a lot of features on this unit. The baskets are dishwasher safe, and it seems to work well. I would recommend it if you have the space and are interested.
👤The air fryer is bigger and hotter than my last one. It allows for more things to be put in the basket, which makes cooking pretty evenly. Some of the air fryers I've used have a problem with them only doing the outside of a basket of fries, or a single layer. This one works better than the old one, and I think it's better than my NINJA. We use it for a lot of things, including fresh fries. Vegetables make up half of the other half. Potatoes are a vegetable. I can be sure that all of the veggies will be cooked, not the ones on the bottom and top. The user friendly aspect of this one is something I like. It's very easy to choose settings and times.
👤The Cosori frier continues to work well. I had a problem with it. The company responded immediately after I contacted them. The company solved my problem. Very impressed. That is very rare for a company. The inside of the frier needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent grease build up. The basket is hard to clean. Do not put it in the dishwasher. The basket should be washed with soap and water. I have used it around 8 times since I purchased it two weeks ago. It is wonderful. It cooks the meat very nicely. Cooks food. Great french fries. There was no smell. There was no fuss with cooking oil. Sometimes I add a bit of oil to get a great crunch factor. The programs are easy to use. Adjustments can be made while cooking. It takes the pressure off when getting other foods ready for the cooker as it keeps the preheat even when not cooking. Very happy with the purchase. I am happy with my pressure cooker. Use the stove to heat the house. My electric fry pan can be used to cook items not suitable for a cooker.

👤We bought this one for our daughter as a Christmas gift because I have owned the Air Fryer 10 for over a year. She can see all the uses it has. This little oven gives a deep smell. I give them a light spray with olive oil. The fish comes out with a coating that is crisp and moist. I do grilled cheese sandwiches, I butter the inside of the bread and then lay two slices of American on top. I put the top slice of bread open on the oven rack to get the cheese to cook quickly. The cheese is delicious. You don't need to use as hot a temp as the directions say, I cut back by about 25' to 50' depending on how well done I want the food. If you want to use aluminum foil under something that will leak, you have to wash it by hand, but the oven has a non-stick drain pan, so you just take it out and wash it by hand. It's easy! It's easy to put the wire rack into the dishwasher. The more I use this oven, the more I find uses for it. We use it to re-heat fast food when we bring it home to eat because it's better than at the fast food place. It's great for warming things and they don't get soggy like in a microwave. We love this oven because it takes less power to heat it than the big oven. We think we're saving money on electric. I haven't dried fruit, but they say you can do it. It's easy to use. It comes with everything you need for a meal, from a rotisserie chicken to skewers for shish kabob, and a toast cheese sandwich. You'll love it if you buy it, use it, and try new things. Your imagination is the only limit to what you can do.
👤Don't fall for the fancy buttons. Within a week the fryer broke.
👤I know that not everything is perfect. I was not sure if I was buying a product. I know that Amazon has a great return policy. The air fryer I have been using for a few months has performed perfectly. Not a single issue. I do not review anything. The manufacturer contacted me to make sure everything was working correctly. Who does that? Excellent product. If you are on the fence about buying this, just get it. It cooks well.
👤I was hesitant about using an air fryer. I thought about giving it a try after my friends kept talking about it. I didn't want to spend $300 bucks on one. This product has a lot of accessories. I'm very impressed so far. Fries are great! The fish is fried. There is a It is as easy as using a microwave. It's super cool. I was intimidated by the new thing since I'm used to having a single knob. I was wrong. It was very easy and straight forward. Pleasantly impressed! Looking forward to eating a pizza and a chicken. Everything is dishwasher safe.

👤I don't like cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too long. My cooking is not as good as it looks in the books. I got the Cosori Air Fryer a couple of weeks ago, and I've been happily cooking every day. It's ready to go when you pull it out of the box. The basket and pan are all that was needed to clean them. The buttons are easy to understand. You have a snowflake for frozen foods, fries for fries, bacon for bacon, and also preheat and keep warm. I wasn't sure what to expect when I turned it on. I wondered if it was going to get hot. I thought it would be loud. It wasn't those things. It does get a little warm on the outside, but not hot like an oven. You need to be careful when you pull the basket out of the fryer because it's deceiving that it works so quickly and gets food that hot that fast. I wouldn't call the air moving noisy. When the air fryer is running, the air fryer hears me and my voice is heard by the Alexa. The air fryer doesn't get too hot or spit at you if I didn't have theAlexa there. The air fryer is on my counter. It's become a conversation piece in my kitchen. I had family over the weekend, and they wanted to know what it was. I put on a kitchen demo, and everyone stood around and watched, then ate all of the food, and then they said they needed an air fryer. I've tried the included recipe book and a recipe for chicken fried steak in an air fryer cookbook, but they were not the same. The cookbook included in the Cosori air fryer has a picture of the recipe with it, and the ingredients are not intimidating to those of you like me who don't care for cooking. I like that most recipes call for ingredients I've heard of and probably have in my pantry, which is a good thing for me because I hate going to the grocery store for random ingredients. The first recipe I tried was sweet potato fries. I probably could have left them in the air fryer a bit longer than the recipe called for, but they were still delicious. The best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I bought some frozen okra in the freezer section and threw it in for fun. I put the olive oil in the water bottle and just pushed the button on the air fryer basket to cook the okra. The okra came out very nicely. It had gone from frozen to crisp in a matter of minutes. I could tell the ones I had missed when I sprayed the okra with olive oil. The white ones tasted fine but were weird. I bought a pressurized oil sprayer can that is specifically for spraying olive oil, and it works better than my plastic water bottle. My third recipe is chicken fried steak. This recipe was not in the Cosori cookbook. I wasn't sure how it would turn out because the cookbook didn't have a picture. I've cooked it twice in three nights. The entire meal was cooked in the air fryer, including sweet potato fries, okra, and chicken fried steak. It felt like an elaborate meal with little time invested, and my kitchen was not a disaster after cooking all of that. I only had a few plates and a couple of bowls that I'd used instead of pots and pans and baking dishes that were piled up on my counter with a greasy stove to clean. I tried the cheese sticks the next day. Baking soda was used instead of cornstarch. Did I mention that I am terrible at cooking? The mozzarella sticks worked well, but not great, which was probably my fault. They crisped up quickly. They were not like the picture in the recipe book. The cheese would have been better melted on the inside. The inside was not really melted and it seemed like the outside was really bad. Even though I used the wrong ingredient, they weren't bad, so I'll give it another try. They were still good despite not tasting like mozzarella cheese sticks. I used the included cookbook to cook the grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids. These did not turn out as expected. I used the right ingredients. The cheese wasn't as squishy as it would be if it was cooked on the stove. The recipe called for double the amount of cheese would be perfect if I had done that. The bread was not brown. It was difficult to melt butter on the stove, brush it onto the bread, and grate cheese before putting it into the air fryer. It was fun to try a grilled cheese sandwich, but I can get one in a pan quicker. I will try the recipe again with more cheese. I think I can make it better. I tried the pizza from the recipe book. I did not use pizza dough. I like to eat pita bread. I followed the instructions as if it was pizza dough, which means preheat the air fryer, brush your crust with olive oil, and then put it in the air fryer at 320 for five minutes. Then you add more. I put pizza sauce on my pizza. It's done if you put it back into the air fryer for another five minutes at 320. It was great. I'll make another for lunch. I had to cook one at a time because I couldn't fit the two pieces of bread in the basket together. The cookbook that comes with the air fryer has a recipe for coconut shrimp. The kitchen would normally be filled with a lot of mess, but there was only three bowls to dredge the coconut shrimp and then a plate to put them on. When you preheat the air fryer, you pop the shrimp in for eight minutes. I'll add more coconut in my dredge next time because they were very tasty. I couldn't really taste the coconut in the recipe. I've never tried a new recipe in a cookbook, but I keep picking out new ones. I've included pictures of the fried steak, pizza, grilled cheese, and coconut shrimp that I've made so far. You have to get used to cooking in batches. I wanted to make four chicken fried steaks, but there was only room for two. It's not a big deal. You can cook in batches. I had to make three different pizzas since I couldn't fit all of them in at once. Two grilled cheese sandwiches fit into the air fryer at the same time. The cookbook that comes with the air fryer is full of pictures. There are more than 100 pages of recipes. For example, you can find recipes for stuffed french toast, BBQ bacon, ribeye, meatballs, fried chicken, crab cakes, wings, pigs in a blanket, french fries, onion rings, roasted corn, cheddar biscuits, cinnamon rolls, pound cake, and orange. Without the cookbook, I would be lost. It tells you which button to press on the air fryer, so you can learn how to use it while you're actually cooking, instead of having to read an instruction manual cover to cover. After using the air fryer, I didn't have many dishes to clean. The air fryer is easy to clean. Everything just falls off of it. I'm barely cleaning it. I wash it in the sink because there's nothing left on it, even though the description says it's dishwasher safe. I like how I can put soap on it to make it clean and ready for my next recipe. The water beads on it, so it dries quickly. The air fryer has only one negative, my impatience with one of the controls. The temp/time can be shared with one button. If you have a recipe that requires you to adjust the temp or time, you have toggling the button. If you need to change how long to keep something in, you hit the temp/time button again. I keep hitting time when I mean temp and not temp. When you pull the basket out, the air fryer cuts off because there's nothing in the bottom. When you put the basket back in, it will be the same temp and time settings as when you put it out. It would be great if it remembered your setting. When I had to make pizzas in batches, I had to run the air fryer for 5 minutes for one crust, then 5 minutes for the next, and so on. When I pulled a crust out, I had to reset the time and temp. I began to notice how bad I was atggling the temp/time button. The time/temp button being shared and the air fryer not remembering your last time/temp are minor drawbacks. The air fryer is my favorite kitchen appliance and they're the only negatives. I don't have any experience with an air fryer, so I have nothing to compare the Cosori air fryer to. I did my research. I read the reviews, watched the videos and crossed my fingers that I was buying the right one. I couldn't have picked a better one. I'm excited to cook for the first time. French toast sticks will be on the breakfast menu tomorrow.

👤I'm not sold on air fryers. There are things I like about them, but they're not what I want in order to justify the costs and counter space. If you're like me and you're not fond of spending a lot of money on a quality air fryer, then this might be a good option for you. There are things that should be noted about this unit and air fryers in general. Air. The smaller ovens are called fryers. There's no "frying" going on, it's just blowing hot air around a small space. If you already have an air fry feature in your oven, you'll get the same results. Air. The food is not cooked any faster by fryers. It will take 20 minutes to cook a bunch of fries. It took about the same amount of time as the air fry setting on my oven. There are limited sizes. Most "affordable" sizes are meant for 1-2 people, though I'd argue "2" is generous in most cases. I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone other than single-person households. This is an issue with all air fryers. They all have small capacities, even larger ones, and will typically require multiple batches, which can result in cold or softened food. Why would you bother? That'd be the crispiness and evenness. The small space allows for a more even spread of heat in comparison to a normal oven or regular oven. Food gets deep-fryed and very evenly so, as opposed to the usual case of "burnt fry tips" with other means. The lack of oils is a nice perk, but it's only for those making their own food. If you're tossing in some frozen fries or chicken, they're likely already covered in oils. If you're just using this to cook up a bag of Ore-Ida fries, you're not helping your health much. This unit does the job it promises. I tried a few different foods and they were all delicious. The exterior is a cheap plastic and there were some gripes. It feels flimsy and makes it difficult to push the tray back into the machine. The cost difference to the higher-end machines made for a minor complaint. The max temperature is 400 degrees. I have many recipes that call for 450. The temp can only be adjusted by 10 degrees. It means you need to adjust the time to compensate for the faster/easier use. The machine gets very hot. The heat on the display is my biggest concern. The screen was warm when I did my second batches. I'm concerned about the longevity of the machine, but it wouldn't be an issue for those who only use it for a single batches of food, cook on the lower temps, or wait a bit longer between batches. I can't say how this will affect anything in the long run, but everyone should be aware of it. I can't say I would have purchased it myself, even if I had been sold on air fryers. If the display heat issue won't cause malfunctions, and you don't mind having an additional appliance just for air-frying, I think anyone looking for a budget unit would likely get a solid bang for their buck.
The 6-in-1 function is important. Air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate, and reheat. There are one-tOUCH SMART PROGRAMS. Easy chicken wings, roasted veggies, cinnamon buns and more can be cooked in a custom program. EvenCRISP technology is used. The deep-frying was done with less oil. It's easy to use display. The Touchscreen shows the stages of cooking. The air fry basket and tray are dishwasher safe. preheating time is little to no. The temperature range is from 120 to 400 degrees. The temperature was 49 to 205 degree Celsius.
👤I apologize for being late in posting this review. I didn't know what to make with the fryer I received a week or so ago. I have never used an air fryer before. This model does not come with flowers. Nothing, nada! You have to look for your recipes online because the Instant Vortex will not give you any. They will give you a broad time and heat guide. The main complaint I have with this air fryer is the instructions. A lot of what you do with this air fryer is going to have to be done through trial and error. There are more instructions to prevent your house from being on fire than there are instructions to operate the machine. I have never used an air fryer before, but what did I think of it? Awesome! I need to tell you what you're going to get when you buy this device. Things to know before committing a crime. Most people in the US know when they are 00:00. Not so with this air fryer. The first two digits are hours and the last two digits are minutes. The instruction manual did not explain this. I've never used an air fryer before, so this was new to me. 2. When using air fryer mode, the fryer will ask you to turn over your food at around 3 quarters time. This was not clear in the instructions. 3. The basket is too small for a party. Six quarts is good for a couple, but anyone with a big family is going to find themselves running multiple batches to get enough food cooked. You might want to get something bigger if you're planning a big wing fest. There is a bonus: The air fryer is not as hot as an oven. If you accidentally touch the top of the fryer, you won't burn your hand off. The vent in the back is not blazing hot. The machine feels safe to use if the safety instructions are followed. We didn't blow a fuse when using the microwave and air fryer at the same time, so that was also impressive, but your results may vary. Alright, let's get into how I used my air fryer as a first timer. The wings were added with pepper and salt. Pam cooking oil was used to grease the tray and basket. Don't grease the tray with PAM. You don't need a tray to spray your food. Or use a substitute. The online recipe was for 24 minutes. We cook the wings on the other side at the twelve minute mark. After setting the fryer for 12 minutes and putting the food in the tray, we discovered that the fryer must preheat first. It said "ADD FOOD" after it ran through its preheat cycle. It's not good. The wings were still there. The fryer said "turn food over" at around 5 minutes. We didn't know it was going to prompt us. We took out the basket to check on the wings, they were cooking but not finished, so we flipped them over. The wings were halfway cooked when we removed the basket after the timer was over. We put them in for 24 and wait for the fryer to tell us when to flip, but then we popped them back in for another 12 minutes. I don't feel a blast of hot air when I take things out of the oven. The basket and fryer were safe to handle at all times. It was time to taste test after another twelve minutes. Did the wings cook well or were we about to get a case of salmonella? The answer was yes. The wings were cooked thoroughly. The skin was nice and juicy. The excess oil dripped off of the wings and settled at the bottom of the basket. Awesome! The basket and grill need to be cleaned with paper towels and water. We used the bake setting to cook salmon. Grease the grill. Don't loosen the grill with PAM. PAM can be put on food, but not on the grill tray. The coating on the tray is said to start to erode. Found this out recently. 1.6 lbs of Salmon was put into the basket. We waited for the preheat and cooked for 7 minutes at 389. Don't remember. The interior of the salmon was still raw. It's not good. No recipes means we don't know what we're doing. For another 7 minutes, pop it back in. Salmon is cooked thoroughly. We underestimated cooking time. What about the rate of decay? I don't know. We don't have roasted, broiled, or dehydrated food in our house. If the chicken wings and salmon are the standard, then I'm sure those features will work well. I am very impressed with the Instant Vortex 6-in-1 multi use fryer. It cooks the food thoroughly and is easy to clean. If you're looking for an air fryer with the flexibility of an oven but without the hassle or increase to your gas bill, then this air fryer is definitely going to be a perfect fit for you. Very happy with this device. I can't wait to cook more food with it. Highly recommended!

👤The air fryer is very good. It's better built, works well, and cleans up easily, and the Ninja brand has a lot of respect, so I think it deserves more than three stars. I have been spoiled, and there are several things that I upgraded. It has to be warm. There's no alert when food needs to be turned or shaken, but it does need to be done. Food doesn't cook as evenly as in the others, which may be related. I found that Ninja's suggested cooking temperatures and times are a bit off, and that it was better to use the usual rule of thumb to use a temperature 25oF lower than recommended on food packaging, and 80% of the recommended time. It has close temperature gradations, which is a plus, but the range of temperatures is quite small. It's tall, which could be an issue for people who don't have much counter space. If I could, I would give it three and a half stars, but I still think it deserves more than that. I would like to thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful.
👤My wife got it because she wanted it.
👤I bought this item because I loved the one I already had. This was not the same as my original. The basket was missing. I returned it. The item I found was the same quality as my original.
👤I did some frozen tots today. I scaled it back by at least 5 minutes and did the preferred 20 minutes, which made them extra crisp, but for people with sensitive teeth, it may not work out so well. It is loud when in use, like if you were standing next to it trying to have a conversation. It is loud.
👤Air fryers are small ovens. There's a basket to hold the food, a heating coil above it, and a fan to blow the hot air around. If the oven in your house has a fan in it, you already have an "air fryer". The rest is just hype. Maybe you don't already have an oven. Maybe you have enough space in your kitchen to fill it with more appliances. I envy you if it's the latter. If you're not careful, you'll end up with a redundant appliance. Does it work? I suppose it does. I've tried a lot of things, like chicken wings, chicken breasts, tater tots, french fries, and even a couple of sandwiches with it. The unit is not even in terms of cooking. It cooks very quickly around the outside, but the center lags behind. To counter this, the manual suggests moving things around in the bin every couple of minutes, and/or adding oil to the food to help it cook more quickly. It is difficult to move the food around every few minutes, but it may work for larger items. I can't even cook french fries. The first time, I sliced up a few potatoes, sprinkled some salt, and made sure to mix them up every couple of minutes. They were still even because with a bunch of potato sticks in there, some in the middle will stay in the middle, and some on the outside will stay in the outside. After 20 minutes, you get charred fries, nicely cooked fries, and some that still bite like a potato. I lightly coated the potato sticks with oil, but I ended up with the same problem. The tots and wings came out just as good in the oven as they did pre-cooked. I wanted to try the okra in the air fryer to see how it compares to deep fried okra. They came out pretty nice, though still not as good as the fries, but they were lightly tossed in a little oil before cooking. Not as good as deep frying, but still worth doing again. The chicken breasts were skinless so they dried out too quickly. The air fryer does what it's supposed to do, but as a whole they're not the magic device that everyone seems to want them to be. It's only "healthier" when you're replacing a deep fry. The bag's instructions suggest that the tater tots should be in the oven, not the air fryer. Are you cutting the potatoes yourself? The air fryer is a better way to deep fry them than a vat of oil. Did you purchase a bag of french fries? Those were already fried. There's no health benefits to air fryers cooking them in an oven. There are a few things missing from this air fryer. A better display. The existing one is terrible. It shows you the time left. If you change the temperature, it will show you what it was before, and then you can go back to the beginning. I want a display that shows more and I want to see it all at once. I want to see the end. If you add more time through the cook, you might lose track of how long it's been running. The target temperature should always be there. Some of the recipes say "preheat to 375F". How do you know when it's at the right temperature without a display? -- A better controller. The cheap buttons are behind the thin plastic film. The film is going to break after a while. I know what the pressure cooker is going to look like in a few months when I look at the buttons with the cracked film on them. Why? Give me real buttons! -- The container. It's nice, but the bottom half of the air fryer comes out with the plastic and handle permanently attached. It's difficult to deal with. Why couldn't there be a liner that slides out for cleaning? If this were one of the cheaper air fryers out there, I could probably excuse its cheap button panel, lack of features, and even the fact that the cooking is not even even. It's not. This air fryer costs at least $50 more than other air fryers on the market, including ones that have even more features like delay and preheat options, and it's not the only one.
What's included: The air fryer is called the Max XL Air Fryer. The Nonstick Basket and Chef-inspired 20 recipe book is a must have. Healthier dying: The air fryer makes healthy fried foods a reality. The temperature range from 200 to 400F allows you to cook at your desired temperature and achieve a healthy, crisp, fried finish using at least 98% less oil than traditional fryers. The 60-minute timer lets you air-fry everything from frozen veggies to chicken or fries, and even re-heat yesterday's dessert. Once the timer is up, the fryer will shut off. It is easy to clean. The 3.6-quart basket is dishwasher safe. Use soft sponges and cloths to wash the air fryer. Brillo pads are not the air fryer's friend. Chefman provides a 1-year hassle-free assurance so you can purchase worry-free, and cETL approved with advanced safety technology for long lasting durability. You can find a PDF User Guide, QuickStart Guide and recipe book on this page. 1200 Watts/ 120 Volts.
👤I only liked this product for one thing. The non-stick coating began to wear away. I only had the fryer for 6 months, but I saw that there was a "no hassle" guarantee. I called Chefman from Amazon. I was asked if I used any oil. They got me to coat the pan. The coating was disappearing because they said you aren't supposed to use oil. My bad!
👤Is that a word? This is one of the best air fryers on the market. This is a big fryer. The basket can hold up to 3.5L of food and it has a smart system. The body is made with cool touch technology which makes it impossible for the body to get hot enough to burn. The control panel and basket handle are not recommended for touching the fryer because it can still get very hot. The tray and basket are dishwasher safe and easy to clean by hand. The control panel will only work if the tray is plugged in. Even after waking from sleep mode, the settings can be adjusted to whatever the recipe calls for. The air fryer has safety features so that it will only operate if the tray is put in, this includes when you might need to end a session if the food finishes early. The instruction manual has a free recipe book. Wow, the Frying. I don't know how I've lived with this. I had a plan to do chicken nuggets in it, but had no recipe. There was one in the recipe booklet. I had all the ingredients in my pantry. The air fryer was set to 400 degrees F and 10 minutes so I didn't have to adjust it. I stuck my nuggets back in after removing the basket at the 5 minute mark. It chimed when it was finished and I cut into it. The nuggets were very juicy on the inside. It was cooked all the way through and had a light brown on the bread. It is amazing. I did a second batches after the first. I think these were done a minute earlier because there were a few pieces less chicken and it was still warm from the first batches. Pulling out the tray didn't make the fryer confused. It remembered the settings and how much time was left. I had to put the empty tray back in so I could shut it off. I think the fryer has only one downside. We were impressed by its cooking abilities, the quality of the meat when finished, and the ease in which it was made. The prep time for the recipes is way off. It didn't take 10 minutes to prepare the nuggets, more like 30 or 40, so that's a factor to keep in mind, particularly when cooking for hungry people. Give yourself enough time to make it. The quality of the cooking reminded me of deep frying and baking. It is the best of both worlds. Cooks in a short amount of time is amazing, and the recipe book is full of useful and practical dishes. A good deep fry and baking alternative is safe to use around little ones. It remembers your settings and time left. It is still not recommended to touch it, but it is large and has a cool touch. Unless basket is in all the way, it won't operate. The average cord length is shorter and can't be under a cabinet or by a wall. Where has it been all my life? 5 out of 5 stars. Chefman should be proud.

👤I bought the 4.2 Ultrean several months ago and I love it. We travel a lot in our 5th wheel RV and I have to pack and unpack my air fryer every time we go. The larger model 5.8 works just as well as the smaller version, as you can see from my pictures, and I broke down and got the larger model 5.8 to leave at home. The 2 models are side by side so comparisons can be made. The smaller model has a basket that is round. It is rectangular on the larger model. The larger model has more settings, but I like the "reheat" button the best. Cook for 3 minutes. It was perfect! Does a lot more than that. I baked a bundt cake and it came out great.
👤I don't think there is a way to deep fry at home. When the oil is spent, dispose of it. Who doesn't like deep fried foods? The air fryer is an excellent compromise. It's not the type of kitchen appliance you take out to use and put away, so just know that. The cabinets are in a corner. You get a large basket with that size. The control board is easy to use. It's worth it if you use it for frozen potatoes and similar items, they will come out with the crunch and texture you want. The big oven does a good job but not great without heating it up. There are many websites with more recipes and it comes with a booklet. If you have a room in your kitchen, it is a great addition.
👤After a bad experience with the Consori 5.8 fryer, I received my Ultrean 5.8 Air Fryer. I used it to make egg bites, which turned out great, and today I used it to make chicken tenders. There is a minute amount of cleaning to do. The machine has no smell of plastic. I used the recommended procedure before cooking. I've had contact with the support staff and they are very nice. I'm looking forward to trying many more recipes in my air fryer. I contacted Ultrean on June 23 to inquire about obtaining a new grill plate as mine was starting to chip. The grill plate was free of charge. Great customer service. A photo steak/asparagus bundles is being cooked.
👤We were a little worried that the air fryer wouldn't live up to expectations. We were wrong. It has exceeded expectations in many ways. The buffalo chicken drumsticks were the first thing we made here. The chicken was cooked just right and the skin was delicious. Not having to use oil was a huge plus and made us feel better after eating fried food. The recipe book makes this look like it can be used many times a week.
👤I was amazed by the technological designs of the Ultrean air fryer. It was easy to use and follow the instructions. It's much cleaner than using an oven, which results in a dirty mess. It has been more than just a convenient option for us because of its abilities and the meals it cooks. I would recommend this air fryer to anyone that is looking for a high quality air fryer at a good price.

👤We love chicken wings, drumettes and French fries, so I bought this air-fryer. We were very pleased with how they came out. The compact version of some larger models holds its own in delivering your cravings for hot, crisp and delicious snacks or meals, once you do the prep for the flavor you want and follow the instructions. I made pork chops last night. The unit is easy to use and the clean up is easy, because we have come to expect smart features. I can put the appliance cord in the back of the cord holder once I'm done 'kooc-ing'. This would be a great gift for any time of the year. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in air-frying. I plan to use it for outside dining this summer. Who wants to cook in the summer? This air-fryer isn't this one. :D
👤I bought this because it was pink. I tend to have to make double batches with my family of 4 because it's a good size. It's easy to clean. It doesn't go over 400 degrees. With a family of 4 it could be hard to hear the timer but I don't mind. It works well. I have been using it for almost two months now. It hasn't had any problems.
👤I was impressed by the look and price of the air fryer, so I placed an order, even though I have been thinking of buying one for a long time. It made me excited when I received the KOOC Air Fryer, it was almost use it every day for making roasted salmon, fried chicken wings, re bake cookies, and air fry vegetables for healthy and quick meals. It is easy to clean.
👤This air fryer is wonderful. It is very pleasing on the counter top and doesn't take up a lot of space. It is very easy to program the temperature and timer. There are many pre-set that take the guess-work out of it. I've used it to cook haddock and French fries. The French fries were delicious and did not need any seasonings. The amount of time for the fries was the right amount. The fish was cooked well. The fish was not dried out when it was pre-set. The design of the fryer has grooves for your fingers to fit into, so when you place your hand on the sides you can lift it with your fingers. You will need to place the electrical cord close to an outlet because it is not long. My next plan is to find a recipe for cupcakes or something similar. I bought an olive oil sprayer and air fryer paper to help decrease the amount of clean up even though the basket is easy to clean. At this point, I will rate it 5 stars. The update is on 8/10-21. This air fryer is very good. I don't have to wait for my oven to warm up to cook pizza or a slice of frozen pizza because I don't have to. It was a time saver. There are some questions as to how to remove the rack from the base. The rubber stops on the corners do a great job of keeping the rack in place until you want to remove it. I work on the corners after I pry it up. I think they loosen a bit and I get better at removing the rack. It works well and keeps the rack from moving when you don't want it to.
