Cuisinart AFR 25 Fryer Size Silver

The oven has more features, including 3 rack positions, 60-minute timer, and a broil feature that allows the oven to suck in air. The biplane is a small plane. For perfectly fried results, the motor fan and heater deliver high heat. The capacity is 888-282-0465, 888-282-0465, 888-282-0465, 888-282-0465, 888-282-0465 There is an operation called the super IOR. Brand: Cuisinart

👤I bought this to try out a hot air fryer. It does "good enough" for me so far, but I am not in love with it. I think the good and the bad. Good: 1. It has a small footprint. I put mine on a tile to protect my counter top. 2. It is quieter than my microwave. 3. The door gets hot but the top and sides are warm despite the warnings. 4. It cooks very quickly. 5. The cooking tray has 2 positions. 6. The fan turns off when the door opens, which helps keep the heat inside the appliance and not in my face. Bad: 1. It has a timer and a dial for temperature. I rely on the timer to get things done, so I dislike this. The timer is a spring driven mechanism, which means it would be more accurate if it was an led. I don't like the set up on my oven. 2. There is not enough room for a hand to grab the tray. I added 2 pictures to show how I pulled out the tray and what a potholder looks like. 3. The cook has to compensate by flipping the food because there is no bottom heating element. 4. The trays are easy to clean, but not dishwasher safe, who knows why a manufacturer would think that is ok? It is easy to clean. I've been careful not to find out what Cuisinart thinks is easy to clean. I use foil and parchment paper to line the basket, so it is easy to clean. I hope this review is helpful, if I can update it in a few weeks, I will. It can be hit or miss when buying online. Can someone tell me which model is a good one? I dread going through all the pages to read reviews. Amazon could make searching easier.

👤It can cook a 12 inch pizza. Not even close.

👤I was looking for a small product. I like to eat healthy. It's perfect for making small batches of food. There's a learning curve with using one of these, but there's an included recipe book that will point you in the right direction. Fried chicken, roasted chicken, roasted vegetables, simple pastries, and numerous reheated meals have been made so far. I reheated meals by putting a serving of each item in each pan. When not in use, it fits under my cabinet. The design is simple and I love it. I'm very happy with the purchase.

👤The Amazon listing for the AFR-25 has had time to accumulate over 3400 reviews. The product description is not correct. The product description for the AFR-25 states that it is large enough to Air Fry up to 3 lbs, toast 6 slices. I assumed I could cook a frozen pizza inside the unit after reading the description. If I folded it in half it would fit. The 11 inch pizza pan that I purchased is too small to fit inside the unit. If it's 11 inches long and 9 inches wide, it's not a pizza stone if it's called an "11 inch pizza stone". You wouldn't be able to close the door to cook a 12 inch pizza in this thing. I'm not going to return it since I plan to use it for other things. I am giving a 1 star review to Cuisinart for false product information.

Brand: Cosori

👤I don't like cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too long. My cooking is not as good as it looks in the books. I got the Cosori Air Fryer a couple of weeks ago, and I've been happily cooking every day. It's ready to go when you pull it out of the box. The basket and pan are all that was needed to clean them. The buttons are easy to understand. You have a snowflake for frozen foods, fries for fries, bacon for bacon, and also preheat and keep warm. I wasn't sure what to expect when I turned it on. I wondered if it was going to get hot. I thought it would be loud. It wasn't those things. It does get a little warm on the outside, but not hot like an oven. You need to be careful when you pull the basket out of the fryer because it's deceiving that it works so quickly and gets food that hot that fast. I wouldn't call the air moving noisy. When the air fryer is running, the air fryer hears me and my voice is heard by the Alexa. The air fryer doesn't get too hot or spit at you if I didn't have theAlexa there. The air fryer is on my counter. It's become a conversation piece in my kitchen. I had family over the weekend, and they wanted to know what it was. I put on a kitchen demo, and everyone stood around and watched, then ate all of the food, and then they said they needed an air fryer. I've tried the included recipe book and a recipe for chicken fried steak in an air fryer cookbook, but they were not the same. The cookbook included in the Cosori air fryer has a picture of the recipe with it, and the ingredients are not intimidating to those of you like me who don't care for cooking. I like that most recipes call for ingredients I've heard of and probably have in my pantry, which is a good thing for me because I hate going to the grocery store for random ingredients. The first recipe I tried was sweet potato fries. I probably could have left them in the air fryer a bit longer than the recipe called for, but they were still delicious. The best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I bought some frozen okra in the freezer section and threw it in for fun. I put the olive oil in the water bottle and just pushed the button on the air fryer basket to cook the okra. The okra came out very nicely. It had gone from frozen to crisp in a matter of minutes. I could tell the ones I had missed when I sprayed the okra with olive oil. The white ones tasted fine but were weird. I bought a pressurized oil sprayer can that is specifically for spraying olive oil, and it works better than my plastic water bottle. My third recipe is chicken fried steak. This recipe was not in the Cosori cookbook. I wasn't sure how it would turn out because the cookbook didn't have a picture. I've cooked it twice in three nights. The entire meal was cooked in the air fryer, including sweet potato fries, okra, and chicken fried steak. It felt like an elaborate meal with little time invested, and my kitchen was not a disaster after cooking all of that. I only had a few plates and a couple of bowls that I'd used instead of pots and pans and baking dishes that were piled up on my counter with a greasy stove to clean. I tried the cheese sticks the next day. Baking soda was used instead of cornstarch. Did I mention that I am terrible at cooking? The mozzarella sticks worked well, but not great, which was probably my fault. They crisped up quickly. They were not like the picture in the recipe book. The cheese would have been better melted on the inside. The inside was not really melted and it seemed like the outside was really bad. Even though I used the wrong ingredient, they weren't bad, so I'll give it another try. They were still good despite not tasting like mozzarella cheese sticks. I used the included cookbook to cook the grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids. These did not turn out as expected. I used the right ingredients. The cheese wasn't as squishy as it would be if it was cooked on the stove. The recipe called for double the amount of cheese would be perfect if I had done that. The bread was not brown. It was difficult to melt butter on the stove, brush it onto the bread, and grate cheese before putting it into the air fryer. It was fun to try a grilled cheese sandwich, but I can get one in a pan quicker. I will try the recipe again with more cheese. I think I can make it better. I tried the pizza from the recipe book. I did not use pizza dough. I like to eat pita bread. I followed the instructions as if it was pizza dough, which means preheat the air fryer, brush your crust with olive oil, and then put it in the air fryer at 320 for five minutes. Then you add more. I put pizza sauce on my pizza. It's done if you put it back into the air fryer for another five minutes at 320. It was great. I'll make another for lunch. I had to cook one at a time because I couldn't fit the two pieces of bread in the basket together. The cookbook that comes with the air fryer has a recipe for coconut shrimp. The kitchen would normally be filled with a lot of mess, but there was only three bowls to dredge the coconut shrimp and then a plate to put them on. When you preheat the air fryer, you pop the shrimp in for eight minutes. I'll add more coconut in my dredge next time because they were very tasty. I couldn't really taste the coconut in the recipe. I've never tried a new recipe in a cookbook, but I keep picking out new ones. I've included pictures of the fried steak, pizza, grilled cheese, and coconut shrimp that I've made so far. You have to get used to cooking in batches. I wanted to make four chicken fried steaks, but there was only room for two. It's not a big deal. You can cook in batches. I had to make three different pizzas since I couldn't fit all of them in at once. Two grilled cheese sandwiches fit into the air fryer at the same time. The cookbook that comes with the air fryer is full of pictures. There are more than 100 pages of recipes. For example, you can find recipes for stuffed french toast, BBQ bacon, ribeye, meatballs, fried chicken, crab cakes, wings, pigs in a blanket, french fries, onion rings, roasted corn, cheddar biscuits, cinnamon rolls, pound cake, and orange. Without the cookbook, I would be lost. It tells you which button to press on the air fryer, so you can learn how to use it while you're actually cooking, instead of having to read an instruction manual cover to cover. After using the air fryer, I didn't have many dishes to clean. The air fryer is easy to clean. Everything just falls off of it. I'm barely cleaning it. I wash it in the sink because there's nothing left on it, even though the description says it's dishwasher safe. I like how I can put soap on it to make it clean and ready for my next recipe. The water beads on it, so it dries quickly. The air fryer has only one negative, my impatience with one of the controls. The temp/time can be shared with one button. If you have a recipe that requires you to adjust the temp or time, you have toggling the button. If you need to change how long to keep something in, you hit the temp/time button again. I keep hitting time when I mean temp and not temp. When you pull the basket out, the air fryer cuts off because there's nothing in the bottom. When you put the basket back in, it will be the same temp and time settings as when you put it out. It would be great if it remembered your setting. When I had to make pizzas in batches, I had to run the air fryer for 5 minutes for one crust, then 5 minutes for the next, and so on. When I pulled a crust out, I had to reset the time and temp. I began to notice how bad I was atggling the temp/time button. The time/temp button being shared and the air fryer not remembering your last time/temp are minor drawbacks. The air fryer is my favorite kitchen appliance and they're the only negatives. I don't have any experience with an air fryer, so I have nothing to compare the Cosori air fryer to. I did my research. I read the reviews, watched the videos and crossed my fingers that I was buying the right one. I couldn't have picked a better one. I'm excited to cook for the first time. French toast sticks will be on the breakfast menu tomorrow.

Brand: Chefman

👤The product is very nice. It is easy to use and operate. You will have a strong plastic smell. Keep the tray submerged in a hot soap water bath for a while after washing it. Rub alcohol on the inside. For 20 minutes, run the fryer without anything in it. Put the little lid on it and then put your food above it. The smell went away after I used lemon juice.

👤Live. In assisted living. The facility. Not fond of the menu. So. I bought it. For the price, it does what it says. I have done that. Hot dogs, veggies, and bone steak in to. You can't rely on the recommeded time, so just look it and test it. It was nice for what I wanted.

👤The Chefman is 888-282-0465 is 888-282-0465 It's a good choice if you don't have enough storage space for those big units. It's easy to use. After washing out the basket, you put the plate in, preheat the food, and then run the unit with the food using a timer. I put in two dredged chicken thighs after setting the temp to 400 F. I cooked them for 30 minutes. It was perfect. Were they fond of fried chicken? Not quite. The skin was clean and crisp. I could detect a floury taste if I had lightly sprayed the chicken with oil. The meat was very juicy. The format is small. Light weight Cons: you only have to hold for one or two. There were thumbs up. Cooks well.

👤Next to my rice cooker is my best friend! I don't have to heat up the house while I heat up the oven because of the broken air conditioner. The size is great since my husband passed away. I found a pizza for one in the freezer yesterday, and it fit! I was skeptical about these things and watched and read more about them. I got one after breaking down. I dislike waiting for food to cook the most. My waiting time has been halved. I love it!

👤They are out of the air fryer, and out of the box, and out of a quick spray of cooking oil. Dinner time is so good. I prepared delicious frozen mushrooms with all that deep fry oil and excess fat. I am happy I bought it and would consider another. They only come in black. I would love to have one in Almond or Dark Green.

👤The electronic chemical smell was so overpowering that it was impossible to use it. The food would have tasted bad. I tried to burn off the smell, but it lingered and my home smelled like it had been there. I don't know if it put food in it. I would assume that I had a faulty unit since some reviewers said they didn't have odors. The tech support was helpful when I returned.

4. Ninja AF101 Fryer Black Gray

Ninja AF101 Fryer Black Gray

Air fry with up to 75 percent less fat than traditional frying methods, and tested against deep fried French fries. The wide temperature range allows you to cook quickly and gently, and it allows you to cook with heat. 2 pounds of french fries can fit in a 4 quart ceramic coated basket and crisper plate. The cord length is 2.6 feet. The unit will need time to warm up. They recommend preheating the unit for 3 minutes before adding your ingredients to get the best results. The combination of low fan speed and low temperature allows dehydration. The dishwasher safe parts are easy to clean.

Brand: Ninja

👤I turned it off immediately and haven't used it since... hope to hear from the manufacturer soon. I've been going back and forth with the Ninja customer service team for the past 2 weeks and haven't come to a conclusion yet. I would take out another star from the review to make it 0 stars. I did not hear from Ninja customer service for more than a month, but I got a full refund after talking to Amazon.

👤I have been studying air fryers for about two years. Counters-pace vs basket size was the subject of the decision. The stand mixer takes up more space than the ninja. It's easy to pull out from under the cabinet to use. I would love for a bigger one to do my entire meal at once. For two people, it does a fair amount of food. The bang shrimp came out quite tasty after I reheated them. Steaks were moist and medium rare, but not cooked on the plate. It works well with salmon and chicken breasts. It's much easier to clean a pan than a stove top. It cooked the chicken, fish, and tater tots in 10 minutes. Less time than a microwave. The Ninja is $200 less than thePhillips, but it doesn't come with grilling or baking accessories. Nuff said.

👤I followed the instructions for cleaning the basket and crisping tray when I unboxed it a few days ago. It has filled my home with a horrible smell of burning plastic and has been used five times. The plastic smell is stronger if you sniff the basket after cooking, because it doesn't look like any of the plastic parts are melting. I think the coating on the basket is releasing the toxic smell when heated. They claim it is ceramic, but I don't think so. It seems to cook food very well. If you don't mind having a headaches from breathing fumes and eating every meal, then get this.

👤The fryer has been in use for 2 weeks and hasn't stopped yet. I wonder how I've lasted this long without one. I am not getting paid by Ninja or endorsed by them. One of the Ninja products blenders I've owned is over 10 years old. They make machines. If you're a lazy cook, this fryer is a life saver. I've been researching air fryers for the past few months and nothing compares to the Ninja. The basket size isn't large enough for the larger fryers, but it cooks quickly and you won't miss the extra quart. It comes with a multi-layer rack, a recipe book, and a crisper. I made wings the first night. I will never buy fried chicken again. They tasted better and were that crisp. I fried chicken in 10 minutes after buying the Louisiana fried chicken flour from Walmart. No greasy mess, no 3rd degree burns from hot oil, and your house doesn't smell like a chicken joint for 4 days after. The Ninja uses a ceramic coating on their fryers, so the clean up is very easy. I made sweet potato fries. I put a bag of frozen babies in the freezer for 10 minutes. They were better than Mcdonald's. The procedure for making homemade fries was too long. You have to peel, slice, soak, dry and cook the potatoes. The air fryer has been cooking nonstop in this house. I hit the internet to get some recipes and it's been there ever since. The fryer has a feature that makes it fast to cook. Is it frozen chicken wings? No problem! They're defrosted after 10 minutes in the fryer. I've cooked pizza, fries, wings, reheated food, and baked a chocolate cake. Everything came out perfect. Next up is donuts. The only thing I don't like about this fryer is that it shuts off after 30 seconds. This is a safety feature. I always have more to cook. I have used my microwave twice in the last 2 weeks to make coffee. I did cinnamon rolls as well. It takes 20 minutes in the oven for Pillsbury ones. If you like them brown, you can watch 8 minutes in the Ninja. They would be perfect if I stopped it at 5 min. My house smelled like a factory. I'll be making beef jerky soon, but I haven't used the fryer yet. I am very happy. The price was the best selling feature. The Ninja is a bit larger than some of the bulkier fryers, but it fits under my cabinet nicely. I'm happy it only used 1500W, unlike some of the larger fryers that burn 1800 which could kill your light bill. The outside of the fryer doesn't get hot, so you won't have to worry about getting burned, but take caution when taking your food out. Is it loud? The exhaust fan on my stove is louder than the Ninja. The extension cord is long so you don't have to worry about being limited in where you can place it. I think I have covered everything. This thing is very dangerous. If you're wondering what cookware you can use, just about anything you put in a microwave, you can put in the Ninja. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought some foil pans. You should grab some tongs so you don't scratch the surface of the fryer. A kid getting a new bike for Christmas is what this thing has been like. You will be happy with this purchase. Happy and healthy cooking!

5. Cuisinart TOA 60 Fryer Toaster Silver

Cuisinart TOA 60 Fryer Toaster Silver

The premium 1800 watt toaster oven and air fryer has a wide temperature range and a wide range of functions. There's a problem with civility. Large enough to toast 6-slices of bread, air fry 3-pounds of chicken wings, bake a 12-inch pizza or roast a 4-pound chicken. There is an operation called the super IOR. The meals are cooked to your perfection with the help of a toast shade timer, an auto-shutoff, and a timer thermostat. Also included: The unit has an oven light, oven rack, baking pan, air fryer rack/basket and is easy to clean. Quiet operation. Refer to the user manual for questions surrounding warranty policies and the product is free.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤I was hesitant about buying this unit because of the 1-star reviews. After using this unit for a few weeks, I have to assume that there was a large number of faulty products sent out, or that some people have unrealistic expectations of a toaster oven/air fryer. I've always had a kitchen accessory that I've had to learn about, and that's the toaster ovens. This one is less than I've owned before. It cooks quickly. Very fast. This one cooks in less time than expected and you need to watch it carefully because it is much less cook than you thought. As we learn how it performs, that should change. It's best to fade back a bit from the recommended times and temperatures in their manual and recipe book. This thing is powerful. Chicken wing drumettes is my favorite dish. I cook my buffalo wings in peanut oil deep-fryer, then dip them in sauce and dry them in the oven. They look like I pulled them out of my fryer when I cook them for 10 minutes on air-fry. My wife says they are even better. Traitor! Garlic toast and English muffins seem to be more moist than any other oven. I've used before. There are frozen french fries and shrimp. She did some fresh zucchini wedges that were going to be boring, but they turned out to be awesome. We love it so far and are looking forward to experimenting with it for a long time. Over the years, we've had a lot of luck with Cuisinart appliances, and in the few times we had problems with them, their customer service people have always treated us fairly. If it blew up tomorrow, I would buy it again.

👤We have been using this since February of last year. We love this unit. It's a staple in our kitchen. This airfryer uses convection, so I wanted to make a note of it. The temp may be dropped on your packages instructions. This is not a suggestion. We usually drop the temp from 50 to 25 degrees. If your fish sticks, cook it at 425 and then put it in at 375. The review needs to be original. Just buy it. The reviews that complain about burning food are not following the instructions. If necessary, remove the lower tray from the rack. The temp settings are appropriate. To dial in, you may need to experiment with something. We cook chicken nuggets for the kids at 400 and then airfry them in 6 minutes. That leads to the next thing. If you put the first line on "10", you are actually doing 15 minutes, and probably why you burned your food. We have used this product almost nightly since we got it, it is one of the best kitchen products I own.

👤This unit has the largest surface area of any I've found, larger than any of the other units I've looked at. It makes some delicious food. The trays are more durable than the air fryers I used, because the coating on the pan was coming off after only 3 uses. I gave it 3 stars because I debated whether to give it 2 or 3. There are some serious drawbacks. Quality control is the first thing. Only 2 of the 4 upper heating elements worked on the first unit. The outer 2 are enabled on some settings, such as broil, so that appears to be at least somewhat normal. The timer was set to 10 minutes, and you get 14. You get 24 if you set it to 20. It was like that consistently. I returned it on these grounds. The timer on the replacement is 6 minutes long, but it only takes 15 minutes to get you 21. This is consistent. The label on the timer clearly had a large gap between 10 minutes and 0, and this seems to be a design defect for the entire unit. People complain about the unit being too hot. It is possible that the timer's inaccuracy would cause people to think that. The replacement unit doesn't sit quite still on the counter. The service from Cuisinart. They couldn't tell me the difference between bake, broil, and air fry. They promised to have a new timer at my door in 7 days. When I call, they only say that the warehouse is processing. It could take weeks for "processing", and it could take up to 7 days after that. They lied to me, saying the warehouse didn't have a phone and that the number on the Internet was theirs. If you're wondering about the different settings, here's what they do: bake both bottom elements and outer two upper elements, broil, and air fry, all 4 upper elements only. Three of them have a fan on high. The bake and broil have the fan on low, but are otherwise the same. Don't buy this for the warranty. It's so slow that it's indistinguishable from not existing. Buy it and a timer.

6. Instant Vortex Plus Rotisserie 10

Instant Vortex Plus Rotisserie 10

The dishwasher safe parts are easy to clean. 7-in-1 function. Air fry, bake, roast, dehydrate, reheat, toast, warm, convection oven. The deep-frying with little to no oil was evenCrisp Technology. 1400-1600W. The heat is quick and even. The top heating element has a fan. There are one-tOUCH SMART PROGRAMS. Easy chicken wings, roasted veggies, cinnamon buns and more can be cooked in a custom program. It's fast pre-HEATING. Use the included trays to cook multiple meals at once. You can adjust the temperature from 95 to 400 F. It's perfect for holding enough food for growing families.

Brand: Instant Pot

👤I bought this item because of what it has done to my life. I had a great time cooking and experimenting with frozen food. The rotisserie was my favorite feature, but it wasn't turning right the second day. The rotisserie is made of plastic and rubber that melted.

👤The smell was so bad in December that we had to open the windows in the kitchen and the vent fan. This is a common problem with this item.

👤How can I cook anything in this? I roasted it for 20 minutes and the smell lingered in my house for three days. I thought maybe something needs to burn off and then it will be okay. I will try again, it stinks up my house with a toxic chemical smell. What the heck? It is loud.

👤Many reviews said the smells were like burning plastic. They are correct. The food has a bad taste. Don't buy this product. I'm trying to return.

👤The first air fryer I owned was a small Gourmia. It was fine, but not much. The pan had vent in it that made it hard to hold soapy water. I bought a second Gourmia that had more capacity and a pan that could hold soapy water. I've been using my air fryers for a lot of things. It's quick, easy to clean, and if it isn't as good as a barbecue, that's more than offset by the convenience. It's better than a microwave for re- heating a slice of pizza. While waiting for a new car radio to be installed, I came across the Instant Vortex Air Fryer at Best Buy. I didn't like the Gourmia, but I thought it would be worth buying even if it was only slightly better. I love this thing. One review pointed out that it has two cooking trays that can be used on three levels, and it cooks a lot hotter on the top level than on the bottom. The other reviewer was disappointed, but I think this is a feature. I cooked sausage patties on the top level and they came out dark and well done, but without being burned. They would have been fine on the bottom level, but not as dark and not as warm. I've always air- fried scallops on a tray, and they've always come out brown on the top and bottom, just like you'd get from a barbecue. They came out golden brown all over when I air- fried them in the rotating basket. They looked more elegant than they tasted. I like the Instant Vortex air fryer and think it's an improvement over the two Gourmia models. It's easy to use and easy to clean, with features that are better to justify the higher price.

👤We are returning it. It is loud. Louder than my microwave. The touch screen doesn't work well. I have to hold the buttons down. It has a burning smell and tastes like rubber. The smell spread throughout the house. I tried to burn off the smell, but it was still there. The machine makes my kitchen very hot. It was hotter than using the oven. Customer service didn't help at all. Very disappointed.

7. Instant Vortex ClearCook Dehydrate Stainless

Instant Vortex ClearCook Dehydrate Stainless

8-in-1 functionality Air fry, roast, bake, reheat, dehydrate, and sync cook. The ClearCook window and internal light can be used to monitor cooking progress without opening the basket. There are dual air fryers. Cook sides in one basket and mains in the other with separate controls. A simplified cooking method. You can cook two portions of food with the same cooking programs. The crunch and tenderness of deep-frying with less oil. There are 8 customizable cooking programs for easy chicken wings, roasted veggies, cinnamon buns and more. You can adjust the cooking temperature to fit any recipe.

Brand: Instant Pot

👤The unit is very easy to use. It's great to do two things at the same time. It is limited because no one makes accessories that fit inside the baskets. Due to the size of the bins, you are limited to one level of food placement. Only four half strips of bacon will fit in a bin at a time, as well as two burgers in a bit at a time. You can only have one level of food for dehydrating. There are no baking accessories so only cupcakes are allowed. It does what it does well, but there are very limited quantities. This unit will be returned by me. Thank you AMAZON, unit returned, refund received. I received a COSORI. For more information, see my review over there.

👤I own multiple air fryers, a chef, and a toaster. This has become my favorite. I use it at least once a day.

👤I like the fact that I can cook 2 different types of food at the same time, it makes my life very easy.

👤Variety is huge. I love it so far.

👤I have only been using the air fryer for about 2 months. There are 7 people in my house. I can make everything fast and delicious.

👤The Instant Pot pressure cooker is one of the multi-use cooking gadgets that Instant has. It's no wonder that they continue to expand their empire because they didn't call them pressure cooker, they called them 8, 9, 10, 11-in-1 things and people ate them up. It's worked before, right? Oddly, this is up from the "4-in-1" Even though this essentially does nothing, they just thought of a few more cooking words to toss around. Air fryers are nothing more than small, countertop ovens. They cook with hot air, and their small size and a few other details means they heat and cook more quickly, while keeping things a lot crispier than microwaving. The name "air fryer" is a smart marketing term when there's nothing frying-like about it. The public popularity seems to be based on the health benefits of air frying. There are some health benefits to eating deep fried chicken daily, but few people eat fried food daily, and the health differences between fried and baked foods are probably smaller than you think. Air fryers are the best for cooking frozen food, which is why most people use them for, and they do a better job than slower oven methods of keeping things like french fries. Air fryers work well for certain prep tasks. Instant only lists 6 types of cooking, here on Amazon, their own website, and in all materials with the cooker. Air Fry, Roast, Broil, Bake, Reheat or Dehydrate Roasting and Baking are different words for the same cooking process. For the most part, they're just referring to the two types of food, and they're done in an open pan. The difference between the "convection bake" and "convection roast" setting is what heating elements are used for, while the traditional heating elements are used in the roast setting. "Reheat" and "Air Fry" are the same thing. All of the 6 they list are the same process. This is not a good vessel for broiling because it doesn't give you the same heat from the top element as a traditional oven. Unless you have other cooking options, it's not a selling point. I have not tried dehydrating with this. If you're interested in that, it could be beneficial. The fan system should be the same as the ovens. I am concerned about how the rack works and food safety features, as if dehydration of meat is done wrong it can be deadly withbacteria. How does this work as an air fryer? It's pretty well, actually. If you've used other Instant products successfully, you should have the hang of all the Instant controls. The window aspect is a bit of a novelty. It's still hard to fully determine brownness/doneness, but it does keep you from over-checking and slowing cooking. The double drawer and sheer size of this is a downside, as an Air Fryer isn't something I use everyday, or even every month. If your Air Fryer mileage is a lot higher, you might feel differently. It does fit under the cabinets on the counter. The consistency of cooking, as in all these Air Fryers, is very good, and you can either cook completely separately or sync both baskets cook times/temps. The baskets and cooking trays are dishwasher safe. The basket models are easier to clean up than the door-style models, which are more like toaster ovens. Again, those have their place and uses, just saying don't be fooled by trendy naming conventions. If you have the space and need, this is a good Air Fryer, but not a good price point. Don't expect more than that, and you'll be happy.

Ninja DZ201 2 Basket Technology Stainless

There's a language called XL caPACITY. The 8-quart air fryer capacity allows you to fit both sides and mains at the same time for quick family meals. There are french fries or chicken wings. 👤My wife and I have owned a few air fryers. We use them every day. Two at a time. The concept is great. The counter looks sleek. If you have only owned small air fryers, I would recommend buying this one. The air fryers cook evenly. There are 4 quarts in each container. It isn't all usable space. It's mostly in height. The cooking area is very small. The DZ201 container is the larger of the two containers shown in the pictures. The T-bone steak can be cooked with the AF 100. It's not possible in the DZ201. It would have to be small. The Ninja air fryers have a plate inside the container, not a basket. The plate can fall out when you dump hot stuff. Other brands make it easy to empty the hot contents from the basket.

👤This is the best kitchen appliance I have ever purchased. It is the best of all worlds. I bought 4 of them, including gifts for our grown children. They love their dual basket air fryer and use it all the time. I own the one basket Ninja and immediately noticed the issue of preparing different courses of meat and veggies. You have to figure out how to get everything hot at the same time, because different foods take different times and temperatures. The dual basket solved that. I returned the big Foodi because I didn't like it. It was difficult and clunky. If the pressure cooker is being used, I don't like the two lids that are required. To get the hang of it, you have to read a manual. It must be committed and eventually mastered. Many people love it when I join Facebook groups. Since there was only a single basket again, it didn't solve the issue for busy workers who wanted a healthy meal quickly. Many air fryers have multiple cook options. This is the one to get because of the dual basket cooking. Drop the food into each basket, enter the cook method and time for each basket. The smart finish automatically syncs up the 2 sides so the foods finish cooking at the same time. If you want to make a lot of one thing, the 2 baskets can be combined to 8 quarts and there is a quick setting to copy the cooks settings to both baskets. You can either set cook time and temp for each basket individually or just copy the settings so they are the same. Either way, the food will finish at the same time if you just drop the basket and plate into the dishwasher. Meats, veggies, fresh and frozen foods can be made. There is a broil rack option that raises the food closer to the heating element. I will get it. It is out of stock. Since it is brand new, there are no other options, so you have to check out the options for other small baking pans. The sizes are available on the market. The Ninja is not a microwave where you have to be careful, so any pans that can go in the oven can go in the Ninja. No extra pans were needed, but some optional pans could expand baking options. I don't have them and I'm happy with what's standard. It is so easy. Highly recommended. A+.

👤The air fryer is very good. It's better built, works well, and cleans up easily, and the Ninja brand has a lot of respect, so I think it deserves more than three stars. I have been spoiled, and there are several things that I upgraded. It has to be warm. There's no alert when food needs to be turned or shaken, but it does need to be done. Food doesn't cook as evenly as in the others, which may be related. I found that Ninja's suggested cooking temperatures and times are a bit off, and that it was better to use the usual rule of thumb to use a temperature 25oF lower than recommended on food packaging, and 80% of the recommended time. It has close temperature gradations, which is a plus, but the range of temperatures is quite small. It's tall, which could be an issue for people who don't have much counter space. If I could, I would give it three and a half stars, but I still think it deserves more than that. I would like to thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful.

👤My wife got it because she wanted it.

👤I bought this item because I loved the one I already had. This was not the same as my original. The basket was missing. I returned it. The item I found was the same quality as my original.

👤I did some frozen tots today. I scaled it back by at least 5 minutes and did the preferred 20 minutes, which made them extra crisp, but for people with sensitive teeth, it may not work out so well. It is loud when in use, like if you were standing next to it trying to have a conversation. It is loud.

👤Air fryers are small ovens. There's a basket to hold the food, a heating coil above it, and a fan to blow the hot air around. If the oven in your house has a fan in it, you already have an "air fryer". The rest is just hype. Maybe you don't already have an oven. Maybe you have enough space in your kitchen to fill it with more appliances. I envy you if it's the latter. If you're not careful, you'll end up with a redundant appliance. Does it work? I suppose it does. I've tried a lot of things, like chicken wings, chicken breasts, tater tots, french fries, and even a couple of sandwiches with it. The unit is not even in terms of cooking. It cooks very quickly around the outside, but the center lags behind. To counter this, the manual suggests moving things around in the bin every couple of minutes, and/or adding oil to the food to help it cook more quickly. It is difficult to move the food around every few minutes, but it may work for larger items. I can't even cook french fries. The first time, I sliced up a few potatoes, sprinkled some salt, and made sure to mix them up every couple of minutes. They were still even because with a bunch of potato sticks in there, some in the middle will stay in the middle, and some on the outside will stay in the outside. After 20 minutes, you get charred fries, nicely cooked fries, and some that still bite like a potato. I lightly coated the potato sticks with oil, but I ended up with the same problem. The tots and wings came out just as good in the oven as they did pre-cooked. I wanted to try the okra in the air fryer to see how it compares to deep fried okra. They came out pretty nice, though still not as good as the fries, but they were lightly tossed in a little oil before cooking. Not as good as deep frying, but still worth doing again. The chicken breasts were skinless so they dried out too quickly. The air fryer does what it's supposed to do, but as a whole they're not the magic device that everyone seems to want them to be. It's only "healthier" when you're replacing a deep fry. The bag's instructions suggest that the tater tots should be in the oven, not the air fryer. Are you cutting the potatoes yourself? The air fryer is a better way to deep fry them than a vat of oil. Did you purchase a bag of french fries? Those were already fried. There's no health benefits to air fryers cooking them in an oven. There are a few things missing from this air fryer. A better display. The existing one is terrible. It shows you the time left. If you change the temperature, it will show you what it was before, and then you can go back to the beginning. I want a display that shows more and I want to see it all at once. I want to see the end. If you add more time through the cook, you might lose track of how long it's been running. The target temperature should always be there. Some of the recipes say "preheat to 375F". How do you know when it's at the right temperature without a display? -- A better controller. The cheap buttons are behind the thin plastic film. The film is going to break after a while. I know what the pressure cooker is going to look like in a few months when I look at the buttons with the cracked film on them. Why? Give me real buttons! -- The container. It's nice, but the bottom half of the air fryer comes out with the plastic and handle permanently attached. It's difficult to deal with. Why couldn't there be a liner that slides out for cleaning? If this were one of the cheaper air fryers out there, I could probably excuse its cheap button panel, lack of features, and even the fact that the cooking is not even even. It's not. This air fryer costs at least $50 more than other air fryers on the market, including ones that have even more features like delay and preheat options, and it's not the only one.

Brand: Dreo

👤I have been debating about getting a pellet smoker or grill for over a year, but never did it. I heard friends talk about an air fryer and maybe that was what I wanted. I noticed that people liked their air fryers and hated them after they first used them, after reading reviews. I liked the idea of an air fryer that was similar to a toaster oven, but I thought it was too big for my counter top. I could buy an air fryer that can be used as a pressure cooker. I decided the basket version would fit me best after a few hours of research. The Dreo air fryer had touch pad controls on top, a window and a light, and I thought it would be enough for 6.8 quarts. I bought a new product because it looked bad. It's funny. I bought the big air fryer with the easy controls on top and the window in front because every air fryer was getting positive reviews and I wanted a good experience. I received my air fryer in a few days. I have never received a package that was in perfect shape. I have seen a lot of packages, but none were as clean as this one. First thought... Oh! It is large. The machine is 13” tall, deep and wide. I ran it outside so that it would burn off the plastic smell that people complain about. Chicken can be cooked in the oven, a toaster oven, and over charcoal. I didn't know what to expect, was it going to taste good or burn on the outside? I washed and dried the chicken, then used some seasoning. An air fryer is hot. I bought the extra light olive oil because I read that it could get hot without smoking. I am seasoned and ready. I sprayed oil in the basket so it wouldn't stick, and thought I'd be safe. I lightly sprayed oil on the grate. I pre heated the air fryer and loaded it with thighs. For 25 minutes, I was able to get my chicken thighs to 175 degrees inside. I looked through the window and started skin side down. After 25 minutes my chicken was not very shiny. I have never eaten better chicken. French fries were great. I have only used the Dreo Air Fryer for a few days, but I love it and it is easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase and the window sold me.

👤I like it. It cooks a chicken quickly. I took off one star because the max temp is 400F. The description on Amazon clearly states that it's 450F. The max temp can only be achieved on Broil setting. I changed my rating to 5 stars.

👤This is my best air fryer. They thought of small details that make a big difference. It's much easier to clean. I wipe it with a sponge or paper towel. It is dishwasher safe, but sponges are easy to remove. The key to an easy thorough cleaning with a soapy sponge and hot water is a rack in the basket. I love the window with interior light because you can see cooking progress without pulling out the basket and letting out heat. The panel is easy to use. There is also an option for bake, roast or broil. Round foods are kept 888-548-5870 from rolling into a clump. The five year warranty is a plus.

Brand: Instant Pot

👤I did a lot of research before landing on the air fryer. I like the Ninja 10 quart with two drawers, but I couldn't find the internal dimensions of the basket. I don't know why sellers don't give this information, and Amazon didn't give any answers for the 10 quart baskets. The Ninja 8 quart baskets are larger than the Vortex 6 quart basket. It looked like Ninja got its volume size by smaller surface areas and taller baskets. Air fryers work best with a single layer of food, but you can load a basket and still get good results. The internal basket dimensions are 9 3/8" X 9 5/8" X 4. There are two arrows on the plate and basket that show you how to put it in the basket. The rubber bumper on the plate keeps it snug to the basket. Reviewers have noted that the hot plate does not fall out when Ninja is dumped. You should operate the machine at 400 degrees F for 18 minutes to remove the smell of plastic. I did it twice. It is very easy to use. 1. Air Fry is a mode that you can choose. 2. You can set the Temp by touching the button and rotating the dial. 4. If you want to set the Time by rotating the dial, try the Temp/Time button again. 5. Start. It takes 3 minutes and 30 seconds to preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. It will tell you when to eat, but it is not at the halfway point. It will tell you to shake for 18 minutes and then at 10 minutes. These are ideal times to shake because the engineers at Instant know more about this than I do. The machine produces heat. There is a vent on the back that allows hot air to escape. The air is not so hot that it would damage my cabinets. The black plastic feet get warm to the touch, even though the underneath side does not get hot. I'm going to put something under the machine to protect my wood countertops even though there are rubber pads under the black feet. This is not necessary. The well-insulated cord doesn't get hot as I expected, but it does push the limits of a 15 Amp outlet. If your outlet is old, it will fail. I replaced the 15 Amp outlets because I had 20. You need 12 gauge wire and 20amp breakers if you do this. Again, probably not necessary. It is easy to clean up. If you put soapy water in the basket, it will get stuck between the windows. If you want to take it apart to clean the windows, there are 4 screws that hold the handle and exterior window on. America's Text Kitchen and The Food Network both ranked the Instant Vortex Plus 6 Quart Air Fryer number one. I bought two 6 quart Instant Air Fryers because a lot of reviewers said we could cook two items at the same time. I'm happy I bought two. We cooked wings in one and roasted corn on the cob in the other for our test run. Both turned out great. The next night we cooked 2 different sized potatoes and both turned out perfect without having to add time for the large potato. These air fryers are still great! There is a tip. The air fryer should be unplugged after every use. If plugged in, the 'Ready' indicator will stay on. It was a problem for us because one of our air fryer outlets is in a corner where my roommate couldn't reach it and who wants to plug in every time? My solution was to get some smart outlets on Amazon. We left them plugged in and told them to turn on and off the air fryers. Works well! I hope this information is useful. Let me know if this review helped you.
