How to Brand a Store with One Book

Created by design agency Takram Design Engineering, the branding for Morioka Shoten is minimal, modern and clean. Stark white backgrounds with beautifully set typography – in a bespoke designed typeface – make the branding for this unique book store stand out.

Morioka Shoten is quite unique, in that, it only ever sells one book. One small room that sells one book. Based in Tokyo, the store sells multiple copies of that book for one week, then move onto another book.

The work was nominated for a pencil at the 2016 D&AD Awards.
